I’m going to try address my irritation with the found family fandom fixation in part three

Long story short because I’ve not thought it all out yet. The core four aks gil and dizzy laugh in hades face when he makes the assumption they all live with Devie in their house and tells him where they’re all going after the summer.

The only ones who’re going to college full time is Mal and possibly Gil (after he goes on vacation with lonnie of course)

Ben’s got the full time king gig

Doug’s taking a major-domo course at New Orleans university to help better prepare for his job

Jay’s going travelling for half a semester alone (after spending the summer with Carlos) before coming back and being Queen Mal’s bodyguard full time

Evie’s got her fashion business to do and Dizzy to take care of

Lonnie going back home to imperial city on a R.O.A.R scholarship which is why Ben offers Uma the job of being his bodyguard

Carlos and Jane still have a year of school left with each of them dealing with helicopter parents. (Bal for Carlos. Verna for Jane).

Dizzy’s entering high school

If they stayed in each other’s pockets 24/7 they would end killing each other. And the core four especially are happy they’re all on separate life paths. So yeah. They’re not all going to the same college. That doesn’t mean they’re not still friends. They’re just not going to be in each other’s faces all the time. And for those that are. At least they’re getting paid for it
