Sony anon. Id guess if Louis is still playing full concerts of Walls songs licensed to Sony, Louis is possibly still tied in some way to Sony. His oddly worded tweets about the end of tour not really being the end of tour might have suggested that. His account following BMG may be a nod to whats coming, or it may be yet another power move using his social media accounts since it worked to link him to the Amazon 'leak'. I don't think that was a leak or at least not a leak as promo intended to benefit him because it could in no way benefit him. But the BMG follow though is one of the reasons Larry influencers are using to convince their followers the Amazon incident was a deliberate plan by Louis followed by a deliberate 'unfair manipulation' to blame fans for spreading it. They also point to simultaneous heavy-handed babygate attention-seeking from his sisters when Lottie gave birth, and babygate is a failsafe move to turn every Larry gun on Louis whatever Harrys doing, because they view babygate as a personal attack on them, and now seem to believe Louis is using Freddie for promo . The ott mop up after the leak ostensibly driven by 7 Management is another reason to take out their disappointments on Louis, so all the Holivia court filings vanished beneath the distraction of 'dishonest Louis manipulating his fans and using a child'. Its interesting that every series of organic 'coincidences' comes together to sabotage Louis professionally and/or trash him with some part of his fanbase, usually Larries, when they're most needed for Harry. Right now attacking Louis has cleansed their palates as they're primed to defend Harrys movies and acting choices online and to spend an obscene amount of money to travel to those greedy residencies. They can forget Olivia and the kids involved in that mess, by comparing teflon Harry with Louis who has once again proved in their heads to be so much more dishonest, uncaring of his fans and manipulative. It's always informative to watch how these 'coincidences' around Louis pan out.

Wow. This is really a journey in cult brainwashing.

I would say that I feel sorry for Larries, especially the young people who have a weak grasp of logic and argument, but there are lots of adult Larries in the fandom— even people who are parents and grandparents, and this amount of dissociation from reality is just too fucking scary.

I can’t even argue the merits of their thinking because it’s like swimming in a sea of hallucinogens.

I have been thinking about responding to this at all but it seems like i have a lot to say, so here goes.

Due to contrary belief i draw for myself. I draw for me because i enjoy it and it makes me happy. And if it makes others happy then thats a lovely bonus. I draw because i love the bit of magic and creative freedom of being able to put that on paper.

What i don’t do is draw for other people to give me validation or to give them satisfaction. What’s getting weird is that you are so upset over characters that are written by a terf. Someone that is extremely harmful. Characters that DO NOT EXIST.

I’m sick of this endless debate of "oh but CANONICALLY sirius was taller" who the fuck cares. In the movies remus had like a whole head on sirius.

You know whats the one wonderful thing about this fandom? Every single artists and writers version of these characters. They take them and make them their own. I love the way i can read 10 wolfstar fics and all ten of them are wildly different versions of them. They fall in love with each other unconditionally and i with them.

I’ve been told I’m not valid, that i don’t deserve to exist, that i should have DIED in surgery. There is really vile and hateful people in this fandom but you know what. I’m not here for you, my art isn’t for you it’s for ME.

I would like to say I resent this fandom but it’s brought me so much joy as well. I’ve met some of the most talented and wonderful people. I met my very best friend because of this fandom. I traveled places to see people i love because of dead gay wizards. I have found a place that is so wonderfully accepting. A queer community that I will never have in real life. The amount of freedom and expression is something that drew me in and will make me stay.

I hope you get the day you deserve, and I will continue my life where I live it for me and no one else <3

lolita laundry tip: blocking your lace

This is something that really helps to make any dress with cotton lace look nicer- in the first pic, the middle row on the bodice and right side neckline have been blocked, and in the second photo all the lace has been done. In the third photo, the upper section has been blocked and the lower section below the waist seam hasn’t (I know I need to lint roll this dress, sorry!)

‘Blocking’ is a finishing technique commonly found in knitting and lace-making where after you wash your piece, as it dries you pull it into the correct shape so that after it dries it maintains that shape. For lace especially, this changes the lace from a scrunched-up state, opening up the stitches so you can see the beautiful pattern. Technically, proper blocking involves putting the item on a special mat and pinning it into place, but for my lolita I’ve found that you can just do it by hand.

This is done after washing, but while the garment is still damp- I generally wash my dresses in a machine (on a normal or gentle cycle, cold settings only) and then let them air-dry, and that’s when I deal with the lace. If I put them in the dryer or let them dry as is, the lace would dry in the ‘scrunched up’ state rather than being neat and flat (this has to be done every time you wash the garment).

To block- hold the seam or edge of the garment in one hand, and gently tug at the lace with the other to spread it out into shape. Only use enough force to get the lace to spread out, and be careful not to pull so hard you damage the seams or fabric! Then just let the dress air dry.

If you need to fix scrunched lace on a dry dress, I’d suggest steaming rather than ironing. If you gently steam the lace until it’s damp, then wait a couple seconds for it to cool off, you can re-block it, but personally I find this more tedious than blocking out of the wash since you have to watch out for the heat.

This technique is generally just for natural fibers- if you own wool or cotton sweaters they will also benefit from being gently pulled into shape before drying (never put wool in the dryer as it will shrink!). Synthetic lace, however, maintains its shape and can be machine-dried as long as the rest of the garment is also dryer-safe.
