If FGO ever adds Jan Zizka and they don’t get at least one ascension with a sickass eyepatch (regardless of Jan’s gender in-game) I’m gonna go crazy.
Though if they got an on death type skill to reference Jan’s dying wish to have his skin made into a drum (so he could continue to inspire and lead troops even in death, per his own words) I would think that’s neat.

[Film Review] 'Medieval' A Damp Bloodied Version Of 'Game Of Thrones' Meets 'Titanic'
[Film Review] ‘Medieval’ A Damp Bloodied Version Of ‘Game Of Thrones’ Meets ‘Titanic’
#MichaelCaine in #Medieval
Finally watched this film which is a bit too long and dragging for two hours. This is about the Czech hero Jan Zizka during the time of King Charles IV when the Bohemian kingdom of the Czech Republic was looking for an able heir to the throne which is opposed by a fraction of the people in France who are backing a second Pope while there is already a Pope in Rome.…

Coming up next month in Banff! In-person workshop: THE ART OF EDITING, with Paul Zizka! (Feb 4). Editing images is an underrated part of the creative process in photography. For many photographers, it can be the limiting factor to stronger images (whether they are aware of it or not). Good processing skills can often make the difference between a great image and an exceptional one. In this popular introduction to post-processing, I will discuss the importance of editing, and the tools and procedures I feel are most useful to photographers. Matthew GoodE on Filming MEDIEVAL in Prague
From Czech Press Kit
[Google Translate]
The story of Jan Žižka was largely unknown to the English actor, but after reading the script, he completely immersed himself in it and was fascinated by it. He perceived the given period as a very dark time full of struggles. He also fully enjoyed his last filming day, which he spent at Zvíkov Castle, which he liked very much. "This is probably the most beautiful castle where we shot. It's incredible inside, the hand paintings on the walls, and how well preserved it all is, it's just beautiful. Plus, it's by the water and the beautiful view... It would be ideal to have a drink and enjoy the panoramas," described GoodE, who played King Sigismund, admiringly.
Director Petr Jakl on Matthew
Matthew GoodE, who played Sigismund, William Moseley, who played Žižka's brother, I got on really well with them, it was fantastic, we were basically like family. They supported me, the filming was very difficult, so everyone did their best to make it easier for me.

Always remember these words: Simpin’ Ain’t Easy. And with those in mind, always keep a few SQ on hand, because you never know what historical figure Fate will pull out to entice you with next.
