A boy from the school where I work as a teacher was recently diagnosed with cancer (brain cancer). He's the brother of a child in my class. And it just makes me sick and I wanna scream and yell at the world that this is not fair. He's ten years old. He shouldn't have to deal with hospitals, chemotherapy, being sick. He should be out and about, playing with his friends, having fun. His family shouldn't have to worry about their child, dealing with all that crap. His brother shouldn't have to worry about his brother. He shouldn't be facing this, he's jsut a child. I wish I could take this off him. I wish I could be sick instead of him. He's just a child and he shouldn't have to fight cancer. He shouldn't have to face chemotherapy and everything that comes with it. He's only ten years old. Yet, that's the reality for so many children, so many families.
