It is very difficult to state my favourite point!🤔 I need more time to give an answer.

I like old art and music, I'm interested in US history, I like to observe and reflect on the background, I'm interested in the concept of 'death' (not that I want to die), and I sympathise with the shy boy with the artistic sensibility. I also find the duality of all the characters fascinating. And I like stories with the theme of brotherhood.

I have also always loved the novel "Hikari no Suashi" written by the Japanese novelist Kenji Miyazawa, which was supposedly written in the 1920s. What kind of story is it about two young brothers who get lost in the snowy mountains, have a near-death experience, and then travel around the underworld to meet Buddha and return to this world. The story is like a Buddhist version of OTGW. (In that novel, the younger brother dies…). The similarities between these two works, written in different times and countries, evoke a lot of emotions in me!

…I can't see the end of it, even if I write it down. Sorry if there are any translation mistakes.😢 I want to love OTGW more and find more things I like about it.
