What you will make of this is a return of Dekella to me. You lack the power to wield it properly.
My bident was stolen by an impostor and taken to a foreign plane. At last I have found its whereabouts.
If you expedite its return and prevent it falling back into the whale-lover's hands, I shall spare you and your loved ones from anguilliformation.
Or perhaps you would prefer the form of an eel?

I…. don’t know what to make of this.
Thanks for your bident the other day

"How exceedingly short-sighted of you, to take arms in a conflict you yourself admit is ridiculous," the triton oracle choked out, a grim attempt at a smile pulling the corners of his lips despite the force of the fingers around his throat. The darkness of his eyes undulated in countless shades of deep blue, and the twinkling stars of Nyx hollowed out to look almost like tiny shimmering bubbles. Behind the hulking form of Talrand, the oracle saw the drakes take wing, pink scales aflame against the storm-heavy gray of the sky. But the sea itself began to thrash about, waves increasing in intensity upon the wreckage of the temple, sweeping away what little the drakes left behind. Thick raindrops began to fall, driving unheeded into the flesh of the merfolk and the triton.
"You were thought to be a man of logic and reason, yet you take part in this mortal's hubris, on a world distant from your home, apparently on a whim." The triton's smile disappeared as Talrand's fingers closed tighter. "What exactly did you hope to gain from this folly?"
"Yes!" roared a deep, churning voice, emanating from the sea's own swelling roar. In a tremendous fountain of seawater, the towering form of Thassa emerged from the sea, breaking the ocean in two and sending massive tidal waves in all directions. Her sleek white scales glistened wet in the failing light. She leaned down from her godly height, encircling Talrand and the oracle with the prongs of her silvery bident. "What will your true purpose on Theros be? What ambition will you strive to fulfill in this trivial skirmish?"
Why are you doing this to me?
((From the *send one for my muse’s reaction prompt))
"It’s nothing personal" Talrand said stalking toward the young merfolk they’re called tritons here prophet that spoke, his eyes filled with the cosmic black of Nyx as his god relayed her ire through him.
"Honestly, though I’m hardly one for observance, you seem like a god I would give praise to under other circumstances."
Talrand looked away from the young oracle and swept his eyes in survey of the desicated seaside temple, it’s turqoius and amathyst stones crimson with the blood of human and triton warriors and worshipers of Thassa. The slimy crunch of cracking bones echoed through the temple as his drakes feasted on the fallen.
"However, I’m here because a…let’s call her a friend of mine called for my help in her little war with you. It all seems a bit catty and a tad ridiculous a thing to fight over, but here I am anyway."
He placed his hands around the thin neck of the oracle.
"Like I said, nothing personal…"

Quite worthy, mortal. These are skills which will serve you well in the ordeal I have in mind for you.
But first, what can you tell me of Ravnica's oceans?
17. 29.
17:How long can your OC hold their breath? On land, 10 minutes tops. That’s not moving and actually “holding it” after an exhale(this may or may not include “cheating” and drawing in small breaths. Hence why she does this on an exhale.) Moving on land, 5-8. In water and trying to hide, so not moving and probably under it, close to eight minutes if again after an exhale. If actively swimming, closer to 2 or 3.
29:Can your OC swim? She would like to think so, but her expertise is on land. She’s a runner, not a swimmer, and neither the cloak, leathers, or heavy knife belt make it easy. Hence, she’s now a ‘walker.Without the gear, she’s wonderful at it. Like when skinny dipping in her favorite reflecting pond. But the grand majority of the time is just diving in to find an escape in the murky waters of the channels. So depending on situation, yes and no.

Your time will come, Kiora of Zendikar. Your hubris will not go unpunished. Your fate is settling upon you even now, like so many barnacles upon your beloved blubber.
You helped me win my prerelease and I love you ok bye.
I always win.

Thassa in a Tube! Brandco tested the product name “Devotion Helper” but they felt today’s consumers were more interested in knowing what they’re getting instead of catchy buzzwords! #mtg #theros #magicthegathering #thassa

Purphoros will not be found sulking over petty hurts, Storm-God. Look into your lighting bolts and see what wonders he will have wrought upon his forge!
And what will you claim as your legacy? A field of cindered crops?
Tumblr media
See, my interest in Thassa is not purely romantic… we could have a fantastic working relationship too. But, well…
It seems she would rather merge with Purphoros into some kind of vaporous steam cloud and go flying all over Theros.

((So I finished reading the Theros novela, super fun man, super fun. It’s a great read at only 2 dollars so I recommend it to everyone. In the meantime though I’ve compiled some info I learned that I think may be relevent to the rp community so everyone can access it.

You know, for how much of a sailing culture ancient Greece was, and how impactful the ocean stuff was in Theros block, I'm surprised we didn't get some sort of ship artifact. Was the Argo ever designed?
It was, by Ethan Fleischer if my memory serves me correctly.
