I'm going to assume you've known your liked posts are and have been public, for any to see, and that this was the case when you liked a certain Ikemen Vampire Napoleon X-reader (or more). I didn't look for that intentionally either, it was the first thing I saw. Ordinarily, I wouldn't question this at all. And I can't say why I am. It'd expose why I'm asking this anonymously. But because it's you, this haunts me.
So without saying more, please just specify:
Did you like those ironically or unironically?
I don't know how long ago this ask was submitted - I've never checked my asks until now, as I never expected anyone to inquire anything, ahaha. But I'll answer now that I've found it.
I'm a bit of a history enthusiast! I have a wide range of interests, with the Napoleonic era being one of them. I regularly peruse Napoleonic tags on Tumblr, and without fail, those silly vampiric stories always end up sprinkled throughout historical posts.
I don't have a true interest in the stories. But given that so many of the characters are anime adaptations of figures I genuinely admire... Every now and again, I like to read those stories and envision the actual person, rather than their pretty-boy counterparts. They make me laugh! Especially the ones about Napoleon. And for that, I give the post a like.
My deepest apologies to anyone who genuinely enjoys the Ikemen series. No offense to anyone who likes them for what they are! They're just not for me, ahaha.

Silly little Lamorac sketch.
It's incredible how someone with such gorgeous, deep red hair could be one of Camelot's finest scouts! But I suppose that fact serves as further testament to his ability.

•°Blood Feud°•
A smaller sketch detailing the rather unfortunate conflict between the Orkney Clan. Aggrafayne prided himself on being everything their father desired in a son - in a potential head of the family. But despite his active effort to be exactly what their father wanted, he was never acknowledged in light of his older brother. Rage and resentment simmered beneath the surface for years, only to boil over at the worst possible time.

⚜Storybook Style Ser Gwalchmei ⚜
Experimenting with side profiles for the first time. The line art itself I am quite pleased with, but I fear I still have much to learn about color...
Precisely why I've chosen Gwalchmei as my test subject! Out of all the knights, I believe he'd be the most gracious about his portrait being butchered, ahaha.

⚜The Dandy King of Naples - Marshal Joachim Murat⚜
Of the 26, I'd say his flamboyancy and gusto puts him at the top of my list. It's a shame I'm not talented enough to draw some of his hats! The absurdity of his wardrobe is easily my favorite of Murat's qualities, ahaha.

⚜The Indefatigable - The Bravest of the Brave - Marshal Michel Ney⚜
I've recently taken a shine to Napoleonic history! The Emperor's Marshals, in particular.
While their time is long since past the days of medieval arms and armor, I've found their personalities, accomplishments, and tragedies to be entirely knightly.
Marshal Ney's courage and spirit have stuck out to me the most, amongst Napoleon's Marshals - and so naturally, he was my first pick for a portrait sketch. I should hope to imbibe even half the bravery he possessed! But in the end, I would like to do sketches for all of Napoleon's best men. Hopefully, I shall get better at coloring by the time such a quest is completed...!
Oh dear.

Here He Be - the poster child of the Round Table, Ser Llenlleawc himself! And he's demanded to have a whole post all to his own.
Unlike the naive, pious character often found in later legends, I've always portrayed Llenlleawc as everything you'd think a frat boy to be. Obnoxious, womanizing, and a lover of pranks - even well into his 40s. But as irritating as he is to his fellow knights, there's undoubtedly a soft spot within their hearts.
And, oddly enough, in the hearts of women all across Albion.

More knightly portraits, this time of Ser Bedwyr and Ser Griflet. I enjoy seeing how much progress I can make in a few short months.

Sketch Dump! I decided to practice with more serious portraits, using a few of Camelot's Knights as a reference. Some interesting notes about their appearance:
1) Bedwyr/Bedivere - Said to be the most handsome man in all of Camelot! So beautiful was he, the people had given him the title "Bedwyr Bedrydant." In other words, "Bedwyr of Perfect Sinews.
2) Cei/Kay - Amongst all of his unusual features, Sir Cei had one eye that drooped more so than the other. And no one could seem to decide if this was due to genetics, or a product of his constant scowl!
3) Gwalchmei/Gawain - While not a redhead, Gwalchmei did still have a mess of tangled Scottish curls! Even the name "Gawain" is supposedly derived from an old Welsh nickname that translates to "Wild Hair"...
4) Gwalchafed/Galahad - The youngest of the Orkney Clan was very well known for his wide, goofy smile! What made this even more ridiculous was the gap in his front teeth - which would occasionally cause his speech to lisp.
5) Llenlleawc/Lancelot - Sir Llenlleawc had a very unusual eye color! A deep blue-green, yet a hue that was as dark as the night. From a distance, they could be mistaken for brown!
6) Peredur/Percival - Not only was he the amongst the youngest of Camelot's knights, but he also was the smallest! With a petite form and very pale complexion, it is fair to say Peredur was remarkably Elvish in appearance.

Another experiment, involving our lovely Sir Kay - this time taking inspiration from a more comic book type style...?
Ah, I know the Celts likely didn't have flails like this, back in the day. But it's such a fitting weapon for our big, lovable bully!

A reincarnated Sir Bedivere, donning more ancient arms. One of King Arthur's finest knights, if not the most grand of them all! For it was he who served as the Hand of the King..!
