I’ve watched this TikTok so many times over (OP is hilarious 😂 Go check her out!) and thought that it reminded me of small gremlin Lambert with Geralt and/or Eskel and Papa Ves. However, now that I think about it harder, this isn’t Lamb. It’s Luka. Modern AU Witcher! I’ve had this in WIP slowly chipping away at completing this for almost a month and finally finished it!!

I was inspired by the manga ‘The Way of the Househusband’ and couldn’t help imagining Letho as an ex-gang leader who decided to quit and become a full time single father for two boys (Auckes and Serrit) who were also ex-gang members Letho was part of. Also may or may not be a romcom with another retired gang member, Eskel >w> I continue to make Lil’ Bleaters the excuse for these two to interact a;lskdjfsdf

@freckledsaint kept showing me photos of dads going fishing and so I had to draw Letho taking his boys out camping and fishing >w<;

I also saw  @justhereforeskel’s post of Letho and Eskel in casual wear and fell in love! I wanted to try putting them in modern clothes too XD

This sunshine wolf boy makes me happy. He makes a lot of people happy. I see the fandom’s love for him everywhere everyday.

You know, these characters are important for a lot of people. They mean something to us. They are our light on the darkest days.

The actor had so much warm energy that could‘ve been utilized and I think he was wonderful. You should have honored him with the true role and much more time than he got to play him. He would’ve worked wonders, I’m sure. So much potential there in Basil. He had a very strong, attention grabbing presence and I desperately hope that if we see him again, you let him give us Eskel and not a dark corrupted version of him to throw at the people who love him most for his brightness and compassion.

I was far too kind to give the benefit of the doubt to you on this, Mrs. Hissrich.

All I can think to ask is just; How could you? With such a beloved character? How could you?

Certainly!

So first we have Eskel & Geralt giving a grumpy Lamb some snuggles because they do that. That’s their job as big brothers. Annoy & Love the baby wolf in equal measure ❤️ But they do have to be careful cause he bites!

Next we have the wolf bros after a bit too much white gull when they’re feeling all lovey dovey and often pass out with eachother in a pile in front of the fireplace in the great hall. Uncoordinated smooches and snuggles galore.

Now one of my favorites. Wolf pups all ganging up on Papa Ves for “We’re sorry” snuggles after they got into a wrestling match or a race and broke something important.

Now of course Papa isn’t always that grouchy with his boys, so here’s Vesemir with Eskel & Geralt, his well behaved puppies who welcome cuddles from Dad without question.

And then Lambert who throws fits at Papa Ves in public…

But when in the privacy of their keep, on those bad nights when terrible dreams haunt him, Lambert always goes to Papa Ves first for cuddles. And as always, Vesemir loves his littlest puppy more than he could ever say. Much more than Lambert would ever believe.

Okay, now the angst is done. Let’s have some silliness from the Kaer Morons! I give you, Geralt‘s attempts to be a comforting big brother and Lambert is a little troll.

And of course the two drops of water, so much alike and so close together, always finding some reason to be close and snuggle ❤️

Then we have Eskel when he tries to show affection to Lambert, who always is a bit slow to trust in any form of affection, but welcomes it with open arms eventually, even if he’s blushing and pretending not to care. Unlike with Geralt, Eskel is not harassed when he tries to cuddle the baby wolf XD

And finally, we have Geraskier. A wolf and his little songbird. Jaskier is always quick to close the space between them and Geralt still can’t believe how wonderful he is, how he is so unafraid and unbothered by him and all of his witcherness.

Is it just me or has the fandom gotten pretty toxic recently? or maybe I am just noticing it and it’s been that way for awhile? Is it just me experiencing it?

I don’t know, but whatever is going on, all these angry hostile vibes I’m getting, it’s making me not wanna make any content or post anything for this fandom and the characters I love. I know I can’t be the only person who feels this way.

Can we not all just be in love with The Witcher and not make others feel inferior/wrong for not having the same opinions/headcanons? I remember when I felt so supported and encouraged in this fandom and now it just feels like such an angry place and Im having a really hard time with that because I love it so much :‘(
