Welcome to Thin Ice! This is the start of a comic I'm slowly teasing.

Starting college, Julia thought that she'd left her figure skating days back in high school, but with open doors begging to be leaped through, a team of friends she never thought she'd have, and the chance to be a part of something bigger than herself, she reluctantly opens herself back up to dreaming once again...

Today I fleshed out more figure skating team members and their personalities! This was a quick-capture kind of work with the hope to catch some of their social personalities. I also really wanted to make sure that the team is diverse, and it felt a bit easier to keep track of everyone seeing them lined up next to each other. It was also just really fun figuring out different ways to represent the responses!

Of course, this isn't even the full team yet (I'm trying not to lose my disorganized mind crafting this large cast), but this is likely a good chunk of characters that I'm planning to incorporate as plot-impactful. That means that each one of these guys will likely get a chance to shine at one point or another! (yay for them!)

I'm starting to create the designs for each member of the team :)

Let me introduce to you the first two girls, Hope and Jolene!

Hope is a 5'2" Preliminary level college junior. She's new to skating, but she's extremely strong from her weightlifting hobby on the side. Her major is in Sports Medicine, and she's the Team Secretary! She's close friends with Julia, Reine, and Shandra. Her apartment is the epitome of an it-girl apartment: clean, and often the go-to for hanging out. Her favorite skating move is a waltz jump.

Jolene is a 5'6" Pre-Juvenile level college sophomore. She's been skating since she was 7, and spent most of her experience on a synchro team. She's a music and physical therapy double major. A bit of a 19-going-on 30 type personality, she values nothing more than her education and making her family back home proud. Her biggest worry at the moment is walking around campus after dark, and her favorite skating move is a catch-foot spiral.

Concept art of the girls! I think I'm starting to settle on traits and attributes for them.

This is the first time that I've played around with their college jacket colors. Idk if it'll stick yet. In the right lighting, Ash'll look like Christmas. Terry is absolutely rocking it though, as usual.
