I’m powering through finishing sets because I’m overly excited for an in person event I have next Saturday, so here are some of the new dice that went up in the shop this week!

TLDR: Does anyone know a way I can send Nimona-inspired dice to Nate Stevenson?

So some of you may remember that I have a lot of feelings about Nimona (both the comic and the movie), and made dice inspired by the color palettes of the main trio immediately after the movie release because I was so moved by it.

At the time I also made an extra d20 in each design with the hopes of sending them to Nate, who I know has played D&D and whose work I’ve loved for years. However, it’s been many months and I still haven’t found a verifiable fan mail address.

So I’m throwing it out to the tumblr hive mind. Any ideas? I tried reaching out directly to his insta but didn’t get a response (I have no way to tell if he ever saw it), and I don’t have Twitter. I just want to send him some cute dice (unless he doesn’t want them, in which case I’ll find them a different home).

My ability to make different sizes of d20s has expanded so much in the past year and it delights me so much.

Like, 40mm chonks are incredibly satisfying to hold and roll.

But also *tiny* can happen (regular d20 for reference).

Hey y’all, so you may know that one of my popular dice styles is what I call Lyric Dice, which include lines from songs and poems and are meant to evoke the feeling of the song. Over the past two years since I first created the style, I’ve made over 60 designs inspired by numerous Broadway musicals, Taylor Swift songs, Lord of the Rings poems, and more.

Over the past 6 months I’ve held two preorders to help people get the sets they’re hoping for and they’ve gone smoothly, but I’m not going to have time for another preorder for at least the next few months, so I’m opening a waitlist so folks can let me know what set they’re interested in. When I reach their name on the list, I’ll confirm that they’re interested, collect payment, and start working on their set. This will take some of the pressure off me to pour only lyric dice or pour a lot of sets quickly, and let people continue to get the sets they enjoy.

Okay, these tags absolutely made my night.

And so I feel obligated to answer that yes, this set is going up in this week’s dice drop Sunday Jan 7th at 5pm EST on my site. No soul sacrifices required, though the Dice Gods appreciate your fervor!

There will also be a second set in the drop where the colors swirled instead of layering, since this design has a mind of its own. And I’ve got two more sets in the polishing pile at the moment. So there will be more in the future (eventually, since I hand make everything and I have lots of other designs in progress).

One of my longtime supporters sent me song suggestions in hopes I’d be inspired to make some Hozier lyric dice, and it worked!
