Any characters you want to Goth but haven't gotten a chance to?

ooh bit of a nerve pinched with this one - to be totally honest, i don't feel any desire to "goth up" characters any more - i know it's what i gained a lot of my popularity doing, and it was fun for a short time, but idk, i just got a little bored of it, and as much of a hipster as it makes me sound, a lot of other people started doing it, and i just lost interest - yet the legacy still follows me...

it isn't really fulfilling any more for me to just draw X character wearing Y outfit in where the appeal of the piece is purely the aesthetics of this super glammed-up character and they feel like they're models posing for a photo (and i've tried a few times recently) - i get way more out of drawing something that feels like it captures an every day candid moment, or tells a little story ykno? that's the sorta stuff i wanna focus on going forward

All your art is really cute and attractive. What's your fave medium to work in other than digital? Did you go to art school?

aww, thank you so much! i haven't drawn traditionally in a really long time, but sincerely, my favourite was always just a regular old ballpoint pen and paper, it's cheap, feels amazing to doodle with and i like that you can't easily erase anything, it means your mistakes take you in cool directions :) and nope! didn't go to any kind of school for art, my teacher was drawing sonic obsessively as a child, and then whatever resources i could find online like youtube videos and stuff when i got older and more serious about art

What are some actually memorable April Fools bits for you. Mine was Brawl in the Family (webcomic) doing hourly Waluigi comics back in the day.

this is one that probably no-one else will remember but i've always been obsessed with runescape, and like, 15 years ago i wanna say, they made an april fool's newspost about opening a runescape theme park in the UK, and me being an idiot 12 year old who thought runescape was the coolest and most important game on the planet, it absolutely fooled me and i immediately started asking my parents if we could go, i was absolutely devastated when i realised it wasn't real

People against piracy fail to realize that no, I can’t just ‘buy it.’ They stopped making DVDs and Blu-Rays. They’re barely offering digital copies for download. I am not spending money I could use for food or bills to pay for a subscription service just so I can always have access to a beloved piece of media. Especially not when the service will remove media on a whim without concern for how the loss of access to that piece will make its artistic conservation nigh impossible.

For example, I recently learned that Disney+ had an original film called Crater. It’s scifi, family friendly, and seems cool - I would love to buy it as a holiday gift for my little brother! But: it’s exclusive to D+ and THEY REMOVED IT LITERALLY MONTHS AFTER ITS RELEASE.

The ONLY way I can directly access this film is through piracy. The ONLY available ‘copies’ of this film are hosted on piracy websites. Disney will NEVER release it in theaters, or as something to buy, and it may NEVER return to the streaming service. It will be LOST because we aren’t allowed to purchase it for personal viewing. If I can’t pay to own it, I won’t pay for the privilege of losing it when corporate decides to put it in a vault.

So yes, I’m going to pirate and support piracy.
