actually, I think spiders georg should be counted. just because he's the best at what he does doesn't mean we need to discredit him. he's part of the statistic too

Incoherent ramblings 1: We're all morons, get over it.
I have... BIG OPPINIONS. About the general stance that a lot of adults, particularly older ones, seem to have about all kids/teens/20 somethings being idiots. But I think I have even BIGGER OPPINIONS about the idea that you'll grow out of it. It's just a kid thing. All kids are stupid and do stupid things. stfu Because I got told that, to my face, more times than I think is reasonable or healthy as a kid/teen. "You'll look back on this time in 5/10/20 years, laugh at how stupid you were, and wince at the mistakes you made." "You'll feel different when you're older." ect. And I'm in the later half of my twenties now. And you know what? They were right. I was an idiot when I was a kid. And now that I'm an adult, you know what else has come to my attention? Just about every adult I've met, including me, is a fuckin moron. Nobody fuckin grew out of anything. Some people just decided that they were old enough to feel smug about it now. I'm an idiot. You're an idiot. Grandma's an idiot. We're all gonna look back in 5/10/20+ years and wince at the stupid mistakes we made. Well, maybe not Grandma. If you're a teen reading this, you're gonna make some mistakes. That doesn't mean you should be treated like shit now. If you're an adult reading this, you've probably already made a few. And you're gonna KEEP MAKING MORE. If you're 70+ years old reading this, I applaud you for your technological literacy and keeping up with the concerns of the youth on tumblr dot com. You've probably made a ton of those mistakes over the years, and you probably have more than a few left. Unless we all die tomorrow, we're gonna keep right on being idiots and making mistakes and feeling smug about it, right up until the day we do. That doesn't invalidate those decisions, or make the fun you have now meaningless, or mean that something was worthless because it didn't turn out in hindsight. It's called being human. If you can "grow out of" being human, then there's a problem.

Ok, had my hysterectomy two days ago. Everything went well, no complications. And I have actually stopped taking the pain meds, because this is legitimately less painful that any period cramp I've ever had. I didn't think my cramps were that bad? Hearing the way some folks talk about them, it didn't seem like what I was dealing with was all that extreme. But if three surgical incisions and two missing organs hurts less than the cramps did I was probably just not processing the pain well at the time. I do still have one ovary left, so it's possible I could get cramping from that, but they took the right side out, so if I get any pain over there it's probably the appendix instead. Ether way. I have been successfully removed from the gene pool.

the youtube "stop drawing like this" community doesn't want you to know this but you can shade however you want forever btw. it doesn't have to make sense in fact you should actively be pissing people off with how inaccurate your light source is

Ok, thinking about pokemon LZA. It looks like it's set in the same time period as PLA, AKA 1800's. So. Picture this. We get more legends games; those games are also set in this time period; we get a 1800's Unova game. Do you know what was happening in the US at around that time??? Cowboys. We could get an old west cowboy themed pokemon game at some point.

being nonbinary and a fan of non-human creatures isn’t easy. like i’m constantly struggling with the fact that i’m both like “i wish there was more enby representation in humans” and “i’m the same gender as mewtwo and that fucking rips”

Idk where that post is that said “anybody who tells you other trans people are the enemy is a Fed” but yeah, can we bring back that energy please?
Trans woman are not trans men’s oppressors, trans men are not trans women’s oppressors, nonbinary people are not responsible for transphobes not taking trans people seriously.
Talking about transmysogyny is not oppressive to trans men. Using the word transandrophobia is not inherently transmysogynistic. Talking about exorsexism is not erasing binary trans peoples struggles.
Like comon guys this is really basic stuff can we all agree on these things before moving on?

PSA for trans people, trans mascs and fems, and enbies & intersex folks on T or E injections (or injections in general):
Your injections should AT WORST feel like a hard pinch if you hit a vein on accident. It should NOT sting the whole time, itch, be tender for more than a day, and should not cause significant bruising. (Edit!: This is the weekly injections, the monthly or longer lasting injections are sore for a while because the liquid is THICC.)
I was not told this when I started, and missed that I was allergic to my shots for the first 2 months I was on T. There is more than one type of carrier oil, and the type of T they prescribe most often is more likely to have allergic reactions (cypionate with cottonseed oil). You should not have to suffer more just to get your gender juice. You can also gain allergies over time, so if you start experiencing these symptoms, check in with your doctor!
(Another Edit: PLEASE talk to your doctor before assuming stuff, I'm just a guy on the internet trying to make sure that y'all have more info.)
Tips for less painful/irritated injections I've gotten from people (all anecdotal, again, check with your doc):
-Intramuscular injections are usually less likely to be irritated than subcutaneous ones.
-Lightly wiping down the needle you are going to inject with with some rubbing alcohol before injecting. (Make sure it dries)
-Rub VERY hard with your alcohol wipe before injecting to numb up the skin a little bit.
-Make sure to rub the vial between your hands to warm it before using the draw up needle. It makes the fluid less thick, so it’s less painful to inject.
(I'll add more if people share)

i just don’t think “is dude gender neutral” is that productive of a conversation because a word can be gendered and still used regardless of gender. i call my male friends girlypop and my female friends man but i don’t think anybody would agree that those are somehow not gendered terms.
the real question is just “would you be willing to apologize and stop using a word if somebody told you it made them uncomfortable?” the answer to which in a surprising number of cases is no mostly because it seems like overall ppl r more upset abt getting accused of transphobia than they are abt being transphobic
