„Maybe,” James answered, with a smile against his skin. Regulus put his one hand in James' curls, keeping him closer. If it was up to him, he would keep him there forever. Inside his arms, with almost nothing between them, but Regulus was sure this was not how it was going to end. The softness of James' hair under his touch was nothing but temporary. „Reg?” James said, looking at him with worries in his eyes. „Are you okay?”

„Yes,” Regulus whispered, moving his hand to James' cheek. His skin was warm under his fingers. So delicate. James closed his eyes, leaning into Regulus’ palm. James was always so beautiful for Regulus, and most of the time, out of reach. You could never gaze too long to the sun.

James started a plant based diet since a real wolf tried to chase him in the forbidden forest, he was so scared that he barely could transform himself into a human and scape. After that he never tried meat again, he just told everybody that he doesn’t eat meat anymore because he was not a predator, he never got into details because he was very embarrassed about it, how could he explain that he doesn’t eat meat anymore because a wolf chased him while he got distracted spying on Regulus Black.
