I have one of these Amstrad portable computers, I think it's time I got it out and running again, I do have a second one but if I remember correctly there was a problem with the screen. Time for a bit of nostalgia.

A quick look at my Anbernic RG350 handheld retro gaming system. I'm still getting used to it and learning so any tips greatly appreciated

This is where it all started for me. This was the very first games console I ever had. Hours of fun with simple bat and ball style Pong games, it even came with a gun.

Finally got my Vectrex out from storage. The console hasn’t been used for a few years so there was a possibility that it wouldn’t work. Plugged it in, turned on the switch and all seems OK. Love this console. Its different from anything else and still looks and plays great after more than 30 years. It could still fit in along side modern systems and always gets peoples attention. I am going to have a good few days ahead playing games on the Vectrex before it gets stored away again. Love the built in Minestorm, and also Amour Attack and Scramble game carts.
Specifications Processor is a Motorola 68S09 running at just 1.5 MHz. 1kB RAM and 8kB ROM B&W screen displaying Vector graphics and used coloured plastic overlays to give the impression of color.
