This scene is powerful in its silence. In an instant, Carol's face shows sadness and awareness of imminent separation. She hugs Therese so tightly and greedily. Followed by a sweet kiss on Carol's cheek from Therese. Carol's moan at this moment... She responds in kind. Subsequently kissing her passionately in various areas. Even in her sleep... she pulls Therese closer to her with one hand, and holds her greedily with the other...

The way she blackmails and threatens a child is beyond words...
Humanity fades into the background when something concerns herself or the people dear to her, all moral standards go away, she bites in to protect what is in her best interests. For her, boundaries collapse at this moment, she uses everything that she herself considers right and fair. That’s why I love Tár...
I was speechless when she introduced herself as father, it's amazing!

Hoss's voice in this scene is as restrained as possible, but you can feel all the tension of what is happening, like emotions want to come out, but Hoss does not allow this to happen. How metallic her voice sounds... Cuts the air and space of a quiet evening, conveying an atmosphere of peace.
The camera follows Hoss, peeking out from behind her, like all those ghosts that hunt Tár, they want to speak through her lips. Only when the dialogue turns to their family, the camera changes plane and the actors appear before us in a single frame, full partners, but not equals, does Sharon’s presence here become much more significant, both physically and spiritually.
The emotions and facial expressions of the actors are conveyed divinely, as Blanchett’s face changes from the realization of everything and attempts to not accept that this is happening, that the truth is revealed and that this is the end of the relationship. Sharon's emotions and facial expressions... This face conveys everything, pain, the last notes of love, hatred and the understanding that this relationship is dead, acceptance...

has anyone noticed before how Carol hungrily...bites...Therese? and Therese is insanely overwhelmed with feelings, so much so that she can't kiss Carol back, she's choking.
such passion, pure feelings.
this film is not just about love between women, this film is about true love, which you rarely see, but thanks to art there is hope that this will happen to you too...
"I took what you gave willingly."
