I decided to work back into this old doodle of Denji a little. Maybe one day I'll be more comfy having more loose, messy linework but I'll have to work at that. Atm I am a painter at heart.

Old drawing is here, I still like it but I thought I could improve upon the face and make the colors more interesting, so I worked back into it over the original. I think he looks more sweaty and deranged in the old drawing though. There's no drastic difference, I mostly just did this for fun to cool down from a larger zine piece....

A little update/ info

Thank you guys for checking out my art blog! Just wanted to give some info and updates....

First off a little apology, I made this blog as a side-blog years ago not expecting to ever really use it seriously. So unfortunately I cannot follow people back and my use of this blog is limited 😭. If you would like to get in touch for whatever reason, I'm on twitter (and technically on insta) under the same name "weabooii". Here's my linktree

The second thing is that I'm going to be at ECCC with prints/ charms this coming weekend! If you're going I'm going to be at B-03. Say hello if you'd like!

Third is that I'm going to start using nightshade on art I post online. If there's even a chance I could contribute to ai getting worse I'll take it >:) That of course means that my pieces are going to look slightly less crispy but I think it's an important stance for me adhere to as an artist. Maybe when (or if) social media CEOs become less obsessed with using work they don't own to train ai so they can "make work they don't make" I'll think about stopping. But for now I'll definitely take slightly altered art over not posting because I genuinely enjoy sharing my art. Of course, when I eventually open my shop all prints will be original, unaltered images.

Unfortunately I do not currently have an online storefront right now but I'm planning to set one up sometime in March or April after ECCC. I will be selling him online there, so it may take a bit but it will happen!

I originally made that Date as a double sided charm but because I put so much detail in him I was also thinking about getting him printed.

Either way, he'll definitely go up in my store whenever it launches and I'll be posting updates about the opening here and on my twitter.
