but i don’t plan on hurting myself. i think about it sometimes but i know i still have things i look forward to. i’m excited for my juinor year, hopefully it’s on campus. since i’ve been put on zoloft (that was around december 2019) i’ve actually had a bit of a personality change. when my mdd went untreated i often felt like my purpose in life was to serve other people. i didn’t want to be weird or unlikeable i just wanted people at school to see past my scars and the stress balls id play with and all the stuff that i was so embarrassed about.

now i just... ya know.. don’t care.

i have a ton of amazon wishlists with punk fashion, makeup items. i was already dressing like this towards the end of sophomore year but i want to step it up a bit yk? i want to dress outrageously. i like attention now, good or bad. i don’t mind criticism, i don’t fight over little things. i think expressing myself with clothes will help me recover more honestly and proudly.

and middle school erin would be so happy to see her having a second emo phase at 17

it’s hard not to think that i failed my younger self, like i wasn’t able to resolve my enteral conflict on my own i was just put on pills and had to forget all about it like both those years never happened. i wish i could’ve saved myself back then. i feel so distant from my past self that i call her “her” in my head. we’re different. she felt so much and cared about every little thing. i can’t do either.

my friend said that anti depressants make you a husk of a person. i’m on zoloft and i wondered if i’m a husk of a person. i mean, it was either that or live in constant fear and put my family and friends through hell with more s*icide attempts so
