Stay STRONG 💪🏼🫡🫶🏼 and thank you for your contribution you are in this world that we share with some negative miserable people. You stand out and makes them feel more miserable. Keep SHINING✨🫵🏼😇
Just a dirty mirror selfie I took while on my mandated 30 minute break that we all have to sign a sheet to verify we have taken because the hospital got sued.
I need to find the attorney who won that because I am tired of getting bullied at work and being more targeted for speaking up about it through the same channels that my little policy list says to do.
They are too short staffed to be treating me so bad, I am one of 2 night shift techs, and I have seen a hot mess of them quit or not be able to handle the secretarial part of it.
So far, I have been hollered at by nurses for trying to say that I will get to whatever task they have as soon as I am done with whatever they seen me doing when they asked me. I have had my sexuality questioned for roughly 4 hours while I was in the midst of transferring two critical patients out and berated for being bisexual and single, along with a spill right afterwards, "I heard people were recording eachother here and I would take that write up if they did and meet them outside and beat the brakes off of them and wait for the police," (her husband is a cop.) Every action I do is brought up and talked about and I am constantly micromanaged to the extent of doing double the work because I keep having to straighten out whatever they come and fuck up.
Everyone in the medical field is aware that the patients have become increasingly combative and mean, but I swear I would MUCH rather deal with that than the malicious coworkers.
Hospital politics suck so bad, and I am not about to let it get to my mental health anymore. I might even step out of healthcare all together for a little while.
All I am saying is that it's ironic that the people in charge of taking care of people are some of the most callous and judgemental people I have ever met who walk around seeking someone to project on.
I have three interviews coming up, please wish ya girl luck.
