With major artblock making it difficult for me to draw for months now, recovering from when I was hospitalized, and going to small events, I haven't really been making new content but I tried resin.

there was a serious amount of trial and error trying to get the marble to stay in place but only 2/5 would come out properly. There are a little bit of airbubbles but thats bound to happen when you have basic equipment and make everything by hand in a bedroom.

I think they turned out awesome otherwise ^^

Quick explanation- the reason RD says they can only give Orion 4 days is bc that’s all they can give at the time after spending weeks doing all they could to track River. After those 4 days, RDs magic will deplete to almost nothing and take months to replenish back to full which will cause them to be physically very weak.

It’s been SO long since I’ve drawn Orion.

For some bg of what happened to him:

He was very involved with the twins when they were kids but after Ria’s incident, RDs powers were capped. They were still powerful but no longer able to properly share their magic with Orion which is key in maintaining a relationship with a familiar.

Orion opted to sleep so the magic link doesn’t need to be maintained as much. They still meet up in their dreams and sometimes in the wake world when RD hasn’t exhausted their magic with RIa.

ThAnks for being patient through my art block and my health. I almost died twice in one month in the shittiest way imo. I’m still recovering.

River runs away for real. He thinks if he’s gonna be neglected he might as well leave. River also has his parents bad trait of running from their problems.

He’s not THAT neglected but it sure feels like it when you go from being the apple of their eye to now.

It’s too bad he didn’t stick around for one more day. RD had some good news to share.

Harsh Words Part 1

River and Ria are 13 when this takes place.

RD mostly spends their time helping Ria regulate her magic out in the desert. It takes a lot out of both of them.

RD doesn’t allow River to come bc it does get dangerous- Ria can cause concentrated natural disasters like the one that destroyed their house and crushed RD.

River use to spend more time with Asra back at the shop but he got bored of it and began to cause trouble in town often.

River often feels neglected especially when RD was very close to River while growing up.

RD gets stressed all the time about not having magic anymore to protect their family. They don’t regret their decision to give up their magic in exchange for Asra’s life but RD just feels useless and helpless.

Radames - The Demon General

.

Ria has a new love interest! He is the dark but devoted to her.

Radames commands a semi immortal army that can be summoned on command. They can be killed but only with specific weapons or methods. Radames has a reputation of being merciless; destroying entire cities, killing everyone.

When he saw Ria, stopping the army on her own with her magic, it was love at first sight. Radames deserted the country he served to be with Ria and serve as her general. It takes some time to consider him an ally but when his loyalty was confirmed, he was able to romance Ria.

Ria’s citizens were understandably wary of the demon general and doubted Ria as a leader, worried she will lead to the country’s downfall. The doubts disappeared after Radames’ former country invaded and he fended the invaders off and protected the citizens.

He’s 6’5” and he has a monster form that he uses as a last resort.
