I'm a new convert and I gotta say, I am low-key disappointed in the lack of Eileen and Maria villainess BFFs content. :( They are both so lonely and need people to talk to that won't go "ugh not HER again."

I haven't seen any art for them in all my years in this fandom. I checked AO3 to see if I could find a fic about Eileen and Maria (one tagged with both characters) and no luck, unfortunately. I guess you could be the change you want to see in the world and make the Eileen & Maria content yourself? I would share it here if you let me know about it. It is hard to put a good list together because so many Wordgirl creators I used to follow have deleted their content off of Youtube or had it taken down by copyright. Many others have stopped creating for the fandom. With all that in mind, here is the best list I can give you in the year 2023.

djsadbean - uploads great quality Wordgirl analysis videos. A must-follow.

This video by AthenaP - goes into the lore of Wordgirl. Her channel is not focused on Wordgirl, however.

Honestly, Violet is barely in this, but we see her being a supportive friend to Becky on her wedding day (to Tobey). And it is a nicely written fic.

In this one, Becky has an unrequited crush on her best friend Violet, who is in love with Scoops. Sad stuff, but very good.

In this one, Violet reveals she knows Becky's secret identity. Definitely recommend checking this one out.

I had a really hard time finding romantic Violet/Becky fics to recommend, on any site (tumblr, wattpad, fanfiction.net, ao3, etc.). Even on the friendship side of things, there wasn't much. I recommend checking the Becky/Violet tag on AO3 to see if there's anything there that interests you.

Anyone else feel like Granny wasn't used that much after S4? Ironically I remember 1 ep where the other villains tried to force her to retire (only for her to prove them wrong by catching Wordgirl)

Looking at her wiki page, you can definitely see that Granny May had fewer episodes as the seasons went on. I think that, like some of the other villains, they might have either run low on story ideas for her, or just wanted to explore the other characters as the cast grew larger. The later seasons were also shorter than seasons 1 and 2.

The episode is Granny's Book Club, I quite like that one. I am convinced Granny May won't ever quit villainy until she actually dies, and since her mom is still around, that likely won't be for a while.

Since we know next to nothing about WordGirl's time on Lexicon as an infant, that also rises the question. Is she really an only child biologically speaking? It's left to the imagination. Was WordGirl her parents' first and only child? Or does she really have a sibling or siblings, whether if they're older or younger even? Fanfic-wise, most think she has a sister or sisters. It's intriguing to wonder if any of this could be true or if she just has her adoptive brother TJ.

If Wordgirl's parents are still alive, and Lexicon did not blow up like Superman's parents did on planet Krypton, then she could definitely have other siblings. It would make for a great fanfic, for sure. Imagine them coming to Earth... imagine if they were evil... or if they were good and joined forced with Wordgirl?
