Assistant Pro : Nicol Squash
Nicol Squash is seeking a fulltime assistant Squash professional to work out of our newest location in Midtown Manhattan.
The primary role of this position is to assist clinics, lessons (privates, semi privates and 3’s) and to attend junior tournaments for coaching. Local camps as well as overnight camps outside the city will also be part of this position over the summer.
The applicants are expected to have a solid background in both playing and coaching squash. The applicants are expected to be active, energetic, outgoing as well as organized and able to complete basic office tasks (Word/Excel) in order to organize leagues, ladder’s, etc…
This position reports directly to Peter Nicol :
Requirements:
A Valid work Visa is preferred but Nicol Squash will be able to sponsor the right candidate if needed.
At least 3 years of coaching experience at all levels and/or professional international playing experience
A genuine love of squash, teaching children and passing on great sportsmanship values and team support.
The ability to organize inter-club events such as box league, monthly junior league, round robins etc..

The Graceway Sports Centre, Turks & Caicos Islands is looking for a Squash Pro
The responsibilities of the position are:
- Organize the activity of the club.
- Create adult and junior squash programs and make them grow through social matches, round-robins, ladders, tournaments and other events, structured by the level of the players.
- Reach out to the residents and local community and promote the squash club
- Organize the squash timetable of group sessions and social games.
- Maintain a timely and efficient communication with the club members.
- Promote the Graceway Sports Centre squash courts with the local resorts and hotels.
- Schedule the purchase of squash supplies and coordinate it with the General Manager.
- Increase the number of members to an acceptable level (35 in the first year) and keep up their interest and returning rate.
- Provide monthly activity reports to the management.
The Club has 2 glass back, air conditioned courts. The Centre is a busy hub of activities with many sports and facilities however, Squash has only seen limited activity. We are hoping that a full-time pro will encourage more people to play. The Pro should be prepared to spend a minimum of 8 months per year on the island but ideally be full time resident.

In keeping with this mission, the role is to provide a quality varsity program which will challenge and develop the physical, mental and personal abilities of student-athletes of a Division I program.
Reporting to the Head Coach, the responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
· Assist in all aspects of coaching a nationally competitive Division I Squash team including thorough knowledge of the sport, coaching strategies and player development.
· Assist in overall program planning and organization.
· Assist in recruitment of student-athletes on national and regional levels.
· Adhere to Ivy League, ECAC and NCAA rules and regulations.
· Work within the framework of the Department of Athletics administration and coaches.
· Communicate effectively with students, faculty, administration, staff and alumni.
Qualifications
· Successful background in squash, preferably at the collegiate level.
· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
· Excellent computer skills.
· Successfully pass NCAA recruiting examination within four months of hire.
· First Aid, AED, and CPR certification within four months of hire.
· Bachelor's degree
The final candidate will be required to complete a background check successfully.
