The NPC Project

So here’s the thing. I have created The NPC Project to have better control over my population in The Sims 4. While the game continuously keeps spawning new sims to fill jobs I noticed my game gradually slowing down, making playing unbearable.  I have started creating my NPC sims slow but steady, there were checklists, googling and stuff. So far I only created those that fill NPC jobs that come with the game packs I own, but I plan on completing the set. I absolutely deleted all townies and prevented from respawning them with this awesome mod by Zero. It also has a tool that enabled me to assign jobs to the sims I created. If you’d like to download those townies and make them into your NPC’s or just play with them just type in “thenpcproject” into The Sims Gallery search and all of them will pop out. PS I will educate myself on how to upload them with already assigned jobs and skills to SFS. PS2 I appologize for the images quality, that I will also improve :)

Gary and Phoebe are expecting their first baby! Both are equally excited. Phoebe is spending maternity leave relaxing and playing computer games, but it doesn't go without a price.

I was wondering if you guys have simselves in your game.

Mine’s first name is Sabina which is my actual name, and her last name is my mum’s maiden name. I have a red maine coon and white husky, much like in real life (except my dog passed away in january this year and I like to have her there as a memorial). I live in a mid century house on a slope with a swimming pool, in Bradford. My simself is a natural scientist on the highest level (I think), where she works only one day in a week, so she has plenty of time to throw parties at her house (much not like me lol) and play The Sims on the computer.

As the moving continues, we’ve been visiting the ikea store more frequently the last few weeks. And every now and then I see furniture pieces that have been in The Sims 2 Ikea Stuff Pack. Today I boyght myslelf this vase. Only white tulips are missing :)

It seems like the digging in the middle of the night rampage resulted in making a wetland out of Melissa's backyard, and caused the house to settle a little bit. Melissa found some major cracks on her bedroom walls and didn't know what to make of it, and since Phoebe's husband Gary has a little bit of two left hands and his father is too old for hard work, the only option left was calling officer Connor. He seemed like he would know his way around these kinds of disasters. Even though Melissa has caught him on his weekend fishing camping trip at Walden Lake, he rushed back to asess the damage and prepare a course of action.

The night was dark but Melissa couldn’t sleep on the air matress Phoebe gave her. She decided to dig around the backyard. At first she hit a pipe but managed to fix it. Next she dug up someting that exceeded her wildest expectations. Melissa will be able to afford some furniture now. And a new bed!

I’m having the sims in real life situation because I’m moving this week. It’s been bananas. We had to carry our washing machine up the third floor, no elevator and I thought I was done after that, but then I realized there’s still the fridge, bed and other stuff downstairs. My plumbob is very red at the moment. Anyways I will be off tumblr until next week.

Speedy's Diner

I can't express how grateful I am for all of you who decided to hit that 'follow' button. So here's a small gift. Speedy's Diner is a mid century building with neons, glass blocks and round edged cornices. Inside there is a bar and booths, and a pool area with a jukebox straight from the fifties :) Enjoy!

At the military Melissa’s supervisors asked her to show officer Connor around. Not that she was super familiar with Roseley at this point. Phoebe offered to help and was a little too excited to meet Marvin as she pictured him as a perfect match for Melissa. Marvin kept his cool and was nice enough to walk Melissa back to her house in the evening.

Pixlr!

So I have found a new/old editor for my screenshots from the sims. So far I have been using canva for cropping and filtering things, but this is so much better. I have used pixlr when it was just a simple tool and not that fancy, but now they exceeded my expectations. It's like a mini photoshop, you have layers, advanced picture editing, blur tool, sharpen tool, filters, adjustments, healing brush, masks and whatnot! And it's completely free to use as long as you're okay with the online version. They have a desktop app, but a premium is needed to use that one.

Marvin is a military sim and was just relocated to a base near Roseley. He's a fun loving sports fan and fishing amateur.

Takaharu - sc4 map

This is a map for my newest asian themed vacation hood. There's a river, that goes through the village, few hills and even a volcano :)

For the screenshots purposes I have decorated the map with@criquette-was-here's deco road pieces and bridges. I highly recommend using those if you want to fully enjoy the map (see the last screenshot without any hood deco).

So some time ago I have found this super cool game Tsuki Adventure. It's super relaxing and I just loved the vibe and the style of drawings. Anyways, this will be my reference when decorating and building Takaharu. I really want to reflect the overall vibe in my little city.
