I've started working on this at the end of September and due to illness didn't manage to finish it until now. As soon as I heard Astarion saying "Danse macabre", I just had to add my twist to it with all BG3 background knowledge. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it.

So, I've been playing around with "danse macabre" idea and this is what I sketched so far. Wanted to make it all bloody and with all the cool lightning but I'm not sure about the pose.... Let me know if you have any extra ideas that could be added! ^w^

After so long, I didn’t get such an URGE to draw something as this scene while listening to High Rollers DnD stream 3 days ago. I’ve been a D&D fan, DM and player for more than 15 years and this little scene just summed up all the feelings that I have for it. XD

Thanks to Robert Anthony Salvatore for creating such an amazing character such as Drizzt Do’Urden, DM Mark Hulmes for bringing him up, Neil Newbon for the wonderful voice & acting Astarion, Larian Studios and of course High Rollers DnD for organizing this amazing event and bringing back what D&D is all about – dice rolls, adventure, memorable characters, fantasy and fun!

You also made me push through a huge artist block that lasted for about 3 years now. Thank you! Hopefully, I’ll draw more. XD

Ps. For me personally, the only better scene would probably be when Astarion meets Strahd von Zarovich~
