Roses and The Rose Window in The OA
“Every human mind contains the multiverse. An actual garden of forking paths within us all.”
When Scott dies in The OA Part 1, the yellow flourish of light that signifies his life expiring resembles a rose. Scott’s dying flourish of energy parallels his glowing flower.
It also resembles the blue light of Nina’s life. Each instance of life in each parallel universe is like a blossoming rose of multiverse energy. So when Karim looks out The Rose Window and sees an overview in The OA Part 2, it parallels when Nina dies the first time. Little Nina exits the circle of blue light to see her own overview of how her life in one universe is connected to all her lives across the multiverse.
Each little flourish of life in the cosmos is its own rose, and each rose is a window into the multiverse beyond.
The yellow image (upper left) is Rachel’s death. I don’t know how to make gifs, but I’ve included a screenshot and I encourage you to watch it again, closely. It’s different from Scott’s and Nina’s deaths. Instead of expiring, Rachel travels on the network, her energy going along the vines of the multiverse until she appears in a new dimension: The Crestwood setting from Part 1. We see her death framed by her round pupil (another rose window??) then the light behind her eyes does not flourish and fade but literally transforms into the Crestwood houses.
This second grouping shows images meant to depict the network of forking paths. Rachel’s death. Scott’s flowers. Karim in the mirror maze. And Nina in the infinity mirror display that represents her life force in the multiverse.
Each rose, each flourish of glowing life, is a window into a different parallel life within the multiverse.

What is the meaning of life?
Community.
We strive to find a place we belong in, or people we belong to
I am just as happy to see a smiling stranger on the street as I am when I see my best friends
A sense of belonging is a strong and important feeling, everyone needs to feel it some day

I don't regret loving you, and I don't regret telling you that I loved you. But I do hope you regret taking my kindness for granted to make you feel better about using me.

Patterns & materials: paisley, plaid, stripes; ties mainly paisley, occassionally spark pattern or plain satin. Wool, satin, leather, knit wool,

Brands: tie bar for ties and pocket squares, ital suit for suits and vests, Tracy jay for satin pajama robes, Hugo boss for shoes. Other random brands for extras or accessories, second hand or otherwise

This was tricky since Hannibal's suits are all customs from the show, I tried my best to find pieces that are similar to his!
