It's only half seven and I've just come home. Somehow this day wasn't as long as the others but with new linguistic input every day, insomnia at night, recurring cramps and the added stress of having to commute with the car every day I am quite exhausted mentally.

today was the last day of my internship!! after saying goodbye to my coworkers/supervisors, i went to a café to finish reading normal people and study for the state bar (i'm on the last module). for the rest of the semester, my goals are to focus on my seminar and write my 30-page paper, study for the state bar, and have as much fun as possible before i go back to campus next sem😩

slow days at home; i am currently reading Jane Eyre. to be honest, it’s hard for me to read more than a couple of pages of it at a time, i get distracted so easily :’)

Start of my first master semester was a lot. First presentation will be in two days, I need to finish it today. Because of the 2 masters and 3 subjects I attend 17 courses this semester (not every course is weekly but they are all equal in regards to the workload). I did have to adapt to the amount of courses at first as I work 19h every week to even be able to study at university. I hope everything works out and that you are doing well.

🌼 24.07.2023 // I made progress on my case report today! I resumed a very important paper to make its use easier in the future. I really need that to be sure that I understood it and that I use it to prove the right thing ahah. I'm so afraid to do a mistake on my case report. 😭

When I came back home I did some cleaning and I accidentally cut myself with glass 😫 I did myself a great bandage (ehh am I not studying in the health field?) and everything's fine now - but I was a bit scared (you know how fingers always bleed a lot for nothing).

Then I just played videogames :)) (i recommend 10/10)

tomorrow I go back to class for my second year at university !! I'm so excited !! also happy october everybody! (vent about masters applications below:)

but I know that it's going to get REAL very quickly bc I'm already overwhelmed by my workload... in addition to normal uni work, I will also be attending virtual uni open days as this time next year I will be submitting my masters applications......... what?????? ive already started to narrow down my options and do a lot of research bc I know that now and the Christmas break are the only times that I'll have to do this before I have to start writing the applications???? bc I'll be too busy during term and the summer to even think about thinking about thoughts like ?? WHAT??? I was a fresher two minutes ago and now I'm booking postgrad open days like hello???? what???? but I can't say I don't love it because it's soooopo exciting and I love my subject. I'm also aiming more ambitiously in terms of the universities I'll be applying for (will have safeties ofc) so that's VERY motivating. so yeah !! eeeee!!!!!
