Hi! I absolutely love your artwork! It's just so stunning and incredibly beautiful 😍 But as I look at yours and other artists I have a question I hope you don't mind me asking. Shading! As someone who's getting the hang of digital art I have trouble with shading and where replace them, how much, etc, as well as hair colour shading. Do you have any tips or tricks that helped you? Again, sorry for the big ask.

Hii! Thank you so much!;; Could you please tell if you mean shading as creating shadows or shading as coloring? I post speedpaints on YouTube(SIORIKIRA), maybe it can help to see my thoughts direction! A for the amount and placement — it actually creates your style, so it’s pretty much individual(sorry for common phrase^^””). But I’d recommend you to find pictures you like, arts with shading you like, and try to see(even take the eyedropper and try the colors) how person been thinking and how this coloring/shading works to create the mood! See if you’d want to pay much attention to anatomical shading(it’ll take additional knowledge tho), or placing it only where shadows are the most intensive is enough(anime style)! I kind of can see at any picture what style consists of by now and ways of recreating it, but i guess it’s because my creativity is more like scientific than artistic lol ALSO, I myself learned a looot about color from..... MAKE UP. Really. Look at make up tutorials — contouring, eyeshadows, blush, eyebrows — it’s basically the unique coloring tutorial! And MUA use a lot of creative ways, that you can find beautiful and inspiring for your art! And creative make up photo sessions, korean make up — they use suuuch a beautiful lightning and have such a beautiful ideas for photos that can be seen as artstyle! Hope it can help you too!
