A little Sunday Ink study of one of Paul Daintons old Bretonnia paintings. Trying out a different approach to using the inks and really liking the outcome!

Thoughts on Bretonnia getting female knights?
Good if true? There's nothing in the codes of chivalry that ever said it wasn't possible. There's nothing that says women can't be grail knights. Also, whichever god you subscribe to the lady being, Ladrielle (correct) or Lileath (incorrect), neither of them really make distinctions about someone's sex. It's based on purity of spirit.
There being no female knights/grail knights (minus Repanse) to this point comes from the passive application of real world biases that have no logical place Bretonnia, and don't mesh with the way becoming a grail knight works.

Hobby journal : I spent the last few sessions freehanding everything. I did the shield and started the horse fabric (need to learn some vocab lol). I hesitate a lot about whether doing some purple layer in the blue shadow and orange for yellow or not . I'll make some tests later, when everything will be clean.

Oh! Btw, GW released free rules for a jousting board game!
Here’s a link to the rules for Full Tilt! I still got some old knight models a friend gave me back in 2013, so I’m more than happy to give this a go next time me and my pals get together to play Runequest or Rogue Trader! Looks like a lovely little game.
