Crowley: *calls Aziraphale a bastard*
Aziraphale: *blushes like it's the most romantic anyone has ever said to him*
Edit: I'm aware that it's an affectionate insult. I'm not implying that Crowley is being mean to him...

Facts about in-game Yuu (Twisted Wonderland):
NOTES:
This is an ongoing list and will be updated with new information. I'm not caught up w/ chap 6 and I'm not very perceptive. This list is so long because of all the people who commented/sent asks, so thank you Last but not least, some of these might be a stretch/be slightly incorrect so bare w/ me plz :] More Yuu facts [ ONE / TWO ] <- not mine
They've been good friends with Heartslabyul ever since Book 1.
They're forgiving/don't hold any bad blood with the people who've overblotted (at least on the outside).
According to the Harveston event, they can play the flute.
They don't like mentioning that they might return to their world (Deuce's Wishing Star vignette).
Many people consider them a "goody-two-shoes" (Leona, Ruggie).
A good listener.
Based on Malleus' interactions with them, Yuu talks to him a lot more off-screen as he states that he values their opinions.
Loves Grim to hell and back.
It's implied that Yuu invites Malleus over frequently enough that he visits unprompted.
They can be snarky and brutally honest when they're pushed into it.
Comes up with stupid plans that nobody believes will work but it somehow does.
They're insecure about not having any magic.
They want to be able to help their friends.
Has a sense of self-preservation.
Does not actively seek out danger (*cough* om mc *cough*).
They've cleaned up Ramshackle since living there, however, it still looks "abandoned & ancient" on the outside.
Crowley doesn't give them more money than "needed".
Silver states that Yuu is good with swords (PE Uniform).
Both Jamil and Silver seem to think that Yuu is somewhat weird/strange.
They don't know much about mushrooms (Floyd's Camp Vargas vignette).
They're very patient.
Used to be afraid of ghosts until they got to Twisted Wonderland.
They adapt to new/difficult situations quickly and calmly.
They don't complain much.
Very much so the silent type.
The audience doesn't really see anyone helping them out with their situation, so I assume they fix most of their problems themselves.
They don't have any memories of the Great Seven before coming to Twisted Wonderland.
Fluctuates between being observant and not noticing really basic stuff.
Doesn't hesitate to say cheesy things.
Keeps calm in harsh situations.
They know how to play a blowing horn (White Rabbit Event).
Good with instruments.
Not a very good singer (NRC Uniform).
It's implied that they have high stamina.
They're interested in horseback riding and wants to play soccer with Sebek (PE Uniform).
They recommend a few books to Sebek, implying that they read in their free time.
They're short in comparison to Floyd (he calls them Shrimpy).
Grim comments that they're shorter than Vil.
Crowley mumbles that Yuu looks effeminate.
They're a bit of a romantic since they seem to often ask about love stories/fairy tales (Epel & Jade chats).
They have a habit of poking, tugging, tickling and just touching people in general. This is proven through the Home Screen character interactions.
Their love language seems to be physical touch.
They get scared easily but is bad at scaring others (Halloween voice lines).
Vil notes that their uniform is baggy.
Malleus says that Yuu has gotten better at dancing (Masquerade Event).
It's implied that Yuu is good/decent at cooking since they have to make meals for both themself and Grim every day.
Yuu is decent at basketball (Ace Halloween).
Deuce remarks about a tiny piece of furniture in Ramshackle and asks if it's for Grim, meaning Yuu makes small furniture for him.
They're a good photographer.
Takes part in photography competitions (Rook Port Fest).
It's implied that Yuu carries their ghost camera everywhere because Crowley constantly makes them record events.
It's said that the game cards are actual photos that Yuu took with the ghost camera. [I don't know if this is true but a lot of people have said so]
Most, if not all the characters tell Yuu to hurry up when choosing a class, which suggests that they're indecisive.
Ace, Deuce and Cater tell Yuu to relax during classes or else they'll run out of energy.
Jack says that he got tips from Yuu while he was working in Monstro Lounge, implying that Yuu might've worked in customer service before (Book 3).
According to Grim, they have a hard time saying no to people, but when they absolutely need to-- they're very serious and a bit intimidating. "You're a real sap sometimes, you know that? Then again, when you bare your teeth it's no joke."
While they won't say no to helping others, they prefer to keep to themselves and avoid drama.
Yuu is sometimes a bit distrustful of Ace and thinks he's tricking them if he offers to do anything nice (2024 Player Birthday Greetings).
It doesn't take much to make them happy. (Deuce & Idia 2024 Player Birthday Greetings).
They became nervous when Riddle invited them to a salon for their birthday. Riddle response saying "I'll be right there with you, and will instruct you in etiquette every step of the way."
They're competitive in class-- at least when it comes to Jack (2024 Player Birthday Greetings).
They took chess lessons to try and beat Leona in a match (2024 Player Birthday Greetings).
For their birthday, Yuu asks Azul to get something that's supposedly hard for an average collector to acquire.
They're surprised when Kalim gifts them a pop-up card for their birthday.
They own a pair of fingerless gloves (gifted by Epel).
They personally invited Vil over for their birthday party and made sure to have healthy food options for him.
Not very close with Idia.
Owns a glass tumbler that reads 'Happy Birthday!' (gifted by Ortho).
Lilia gives them a CD with his screamo performances.
They were gifted so many presents on their birthday that they had trouble carrying the gifts around. (Malleus 2024 Player Birthday Greetings).

Why hate me
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You, a young fae has been promised to marry malleus since a young age. But how is everything going to work out between the two of you if he hates you? And what if he says something that would completely ruin the last bit of hope you have for him.
-
You sat quietly by the window as you took a sip of your tea. Humming a small tune that your caretaker used to hum to you. As you sat by the window, you could feel your heart ache at the thought of your fiance.
Malleus draconia
The two of you have been promised to marry each other since you were young. You always loved malleus ever since you were a little girl.
But malleus on the other hand didn't like you very much. You never knew why he didn't like you. You never did anything bad to him or anything so you were always confused as to why he hated you.
But even if he didn't like you, that definitely didn't stop you from being nice to him. You would always ask him to come play with you or take a stroll around the palace garden but he would always decline.
But that didn't stop little old you. You made a promise to yourself to make malleus like you, even if it wasn't romantically you still wouldn't care as long as he feels comfortable around you.
But as you both grew older, the more you started to believe that he might never like you. He would grow annoyed with you when you would check up on him or try to convince him to go walk in the palace garden with you.
He would ignore your every attempt to make him like you.
And the thing he hated the most was when you first visited NRC.
You decided to pay a visit to NRC and to see how malleus was doing, but the moment you step foot in diasomnia malleus was quick to escort you out the dorm.
Of course you felt sad but you didn’t want to make him hate you even more so you decided to respect his wish.
Your thoughts were interrupted by a sudden knock at the door.
“Come in”
You put your tea cup down and turn to see no other than lilia.
“Good evening lilia”
“Good evening y/n”
“What brings you here?” You ask as you motion him to sit down across from you.
“Well I haven’t seen my daughter in law in a while, so I just wanted to stop by and see how you are doing”
You smiled and poured him a cup of tea.
“Well I have been doing great general lilia” you tease as he just laughs.
“Well that great lady y/n”
“Oh? So we are getting formal now general lilia?”
“Well we most definitely are lady y/n”
You both were quiet for a moment before bursting into a fit of laughter.
“Ah, I haven't laughed like that in ages!”
“Well I’m glad you had your fun” he said as he took a sip of his tea.
“So how is everything going in NRC? How silver?”
“Everything is going great! Ah and silver, my sweet boy is doing great!”
“That great!…and um… how mal doing?”
“Malleus is doing just fine. Actually, he been pretty happy the past few weeks”
“Is that so?”
“Mhm. I think it has to do with that new student”
“New student?” You put your cup down and paid your full attention to him.
“Ah I forgot to mention, you know that a few weeks ago we had orientation, right?”
“Mhm”
“Well during that, the mirror summoned something- someone”
“And she isn’t from twisted wonderland”
“Oh? She is not from this world?” You say in shock.
“Nope”
“So how is she? Is she alright?” Even though you didn’t know the girl, you still felt sorry for her since she most likely found everything strange.
“Ah you and your sweet heart! But she fine, crowley is doing his best to get her back to her original world…well that what I heard”
“Mm”
“Ah! But she's been hanging out with malleus for the past few weeks! And she made a few new friends during those weeks including malleus!”
“Well that good to hear”
“Say y/n, why don’t you ever visit NRC? Silver been asking about you including sebek”
“Really?”
“Mhm”
You stay silent for a moment. You never told him about the incident with you and malleus when you first visited diasomnia.
“Well, I would like to but…you know how I’m busy all the time lilia”
“Well you don’t have to worry about that!”
“What do you mean?” You asked curiously
“Because I cleared up your schedule!”
“Eh?”
You looked at him dumbfounded, not knowing what to say.
“Yep, everyone in diasomnia is already informed about your arrival, so it would be a shame if you don’t come”
“E-everyone?”
“Mhm!”
Your heart dropped knowing malleus would most likely be angry.
“Well let’s get going now!”
“W-wait lilia!”
“No waits!”
-
At night raven college
“Ahh did you guys hear! The great lady y/n will be visiting today!”
“Ehh?! Really!?”
“I heard she's gonna stay here for the week!”
“We need to make sure we meet lady y/n expectations!”
If no one knew that you were coming to visit NRC, well they definitely know now by how the rumors are spreading around everywhere.
“Ahh did you hear that silver! The great lady y/n will be visiting today!”
“Yes yes I heard sebek”
By now, everyone knows that you were visiting and everyone was really excited, even people that weren’t from diasomnia.
And of course, since everyone on campus is talking about your arrival, it certainly reached the ears of a certain someone.
“She visiting…”
“Who? Oh wait, are you talking about the lady y/n? I don’t really know anything about her but from what everyone is saying she seems sweet and very popular”
He just scoffed
“Come on, she might be here by now”
“Wait, we're going to meet her?!”
Ignoring her question, malleus just pulls her towards diasomnia direction.
-
Stepping foot into diasomnia, you felt a wave of anxiety starting to creep up as your eyes looked everywhere for a certain dragon.
“You seem nervous”
“Me? Hah that funny”
“Are you-“
But before he could continue, the doors flew open and you started preparing yourself for what to come.
“Y/n!” You quickly turn around to see silver and sebek. You felt a wave of relief go through you and you offered them a small smile.
“Ah if it isn’t silver and sebek! It’s great to see the two of you”
“It’s great to see you again!”
“Why haven’t you come visit us sooner?”
“Ah well I have been busy with some stuff back at the castle”
“Oh”
“Well it’s good to see that you took a break!”
“Yeah…it is”
Before the two could talk any further, the door was slammed open and you turn to see malleus and a girl at the door.
“Malleus..”
“Y/n…what is she doing here?”
“She came to visit us of course! C’mon be more happy about seeing your fiancée malleus!” You saw him stiffen up and you lowered your head down so as to not make any eye contact with him.
“Oh fiancée? Malleus, you never told me that!”
You look up to see a girl standing next to him.
That must be the new student
As she looked your way you gave her a small smile and quietly chuckled when she turned red and looked away.
“Yes..um well if you excuse me I have to go do something”
“Dinner will be ready in a few hours!” Lilia tells him as malleus walks away.
You felt like breaking down right then and there. You just wanted to know why malleus hates you so much.
“Boys go help her unpack”
“Oh no! It’s fine-“
“Don’t worry, lady y/n! I’ll help you!”
“That sweet of you sebek, really but I’ll-“
“We don’t mind y/n, plus I would love if we can catch up with each other while we help you unpack”
“Mhm!”
You looked at them for a second before nodding your head.
“That would be great”
They smile and lift up your bags as they escorted you to your room.
“Akane, you should come help me prepare dinner!”
“D-dinner?” You three quickly turn around to akane as the poor girl didn’t know what to do.
“Wait father! After we’re done helping lady y/n unpack we can help you!”
“Y-yeah! Or maybe one of our chefs will!”
“You should take a break Lilia!”
“Oh but I’m not tired-“
“It’s okay we got it from here sir lilia!” You three sighed in relief when one of the chefs came running in.
“Oh well thank you!”
-
“So how are things with malleus?"
You froze when Silver asked you that. You didn't know how to answer without revealing too much of what's going on between you and malleus.
"Things are great.."
"Mm"
"Where do you want me to put this lady y/n!"
"You can put it down there, thank you sebek"
"Are you sure everything is good between you two?"
"Mhm" He decided not to say anything else after that, but you knew that he didn't completely believe it.
"Well thank you two for helping me unpack, I really appreciate it"
"It's no problem!"
"dinner would be serve in a few, let's go"
You three then made your way out the room and downstairs. You were a little nervous to see malleus but you calmed yourself the moment you noticed that you were getting closer to the dining area.
"Oh you three made it just on time! Come! Dinner is ready” you stared in awe as you saw all the amazing and wonderful food that was on the table. Especially when you saw your favorite.
“Where malleus?” Akane asks, you looked around and you saw that he was nowhere in sight.
“Oh I don’t know. Y/n dear”
You stiffen as you heard Lilia call for you.
“Yes?”
“Could you go get malleus? Tell him that dinner is ready” Anxiety and nausea is all you could feel. You slowly nodded your head before getting up and excusing yourself out.
As you walked down the hallway of diasomnia, you could feel your heart beat out of your chest.
You were extremely nervous.
The closer you got to malleus room, the more you could feel your heart almost bursting out.
Finally making it to his room. You softly knocked on the door.
“Mal? Dinner is-“ but before you could even finish your sentence, the door flew open and you were pulled into the room.
“What are you doing here” he asks sternly.
“Lilia asked me to come get you-“
“No”
“Huh?” His hold on you tightened as you looked at him with wide eyes.
“Why. Are. You. Here”
“I-I..” but as you expected, no words came out of your mouth.
You were beyond scared and you didn’t know what to do to not make him more mad than he already is.
“ I came to visit. Lilia made me come here”
“Are you here to kill us?! Huh?!”
You looked at him confused as he just went off on you.
“W-what? Mal what do you-“
“You know exactly what I mean! And don’t call me mal”
“I- I’m sorry but I don’t know what you are talking about!”
“Stop lying! I saw it! I saw it that day!”
“What? What did you see?!” At this point you were confused. You didn’t know what he was talking about and why he was acting like this.
“Your gonna kill me aren’t you? That why you are acting all nice and sweet. You want me dead don’t you! You are going to do the same thing your parents did to mine huh?!”
You just stared at him. You couldn’t believe what he was saying. You didn’t even know what he was saying!
“Malleus! Please just stop!”
“No! I won’t let you hurt me or anyone!”
“Malleus-“
“You should’ve died in that fire along with your parents”
Your heart stopped when those words left his lips. You stared at him in disbelief and hurt as tears started to flow down your face.
He just looks at you with hatred. Not regretting the words that just have left his mouth.
You two just looked at each other before you finally looked away.
“Alright. I’ll just leave”
Was the last thing you said before walking out the room.
That was the last time malleus and anyone else saw you.
You never came back to NRC, you never made it back to briar valley, you never made it back to the castle.
It’s like you disappeared
And…maybe you did.

hello, I thank you very much for what you do, I wanted to please ask recommendations of fan fics that are romantic, the most romantic there are, I would appreciate them a lot 💕
Hi. Here are some romantic fics for you...
Five Times Crowley Fell Asleep and the One Time Aziraphale Did Too by toastergrove (NR)
Five times Crolwey has fallen asleep and one time Aziraphale did too. It's very a fluffy and cute little fic
The Very Second Day of the Rest of Their Lives by AntiquarianAndUnusual (T)
It's the first Monday since the Armageddon That Never Was, and Crowley and Aziraphale start their new lives out with the quiet, gentle, and almost romantic morning they deserve.
Never Too Late by AppleSeeds (T)
It's been thirty-five years since the height of Aziraphale's enormous crush on rockstar Anthony Crowley, but when he sees that Anthony is still performing, Aziraphale feels he owes it to his younger self not to pass up the opportunity to finally hear him sing live. The last thing he expects is for Anthony to actually approach him once the concert is over, extending an invitation that surpasses every fantasy Aziraphale harboured about him as a young man and resulting in the most memorable night of his life.
天明 (Tenmei) by angelsnuffbox (T)
“This, right now, could be one of those moments you’ll look back on in ten years and wonder what could have happened, how the night could have gone if you’d taken that strikingly handsome man’s offer of a night stroll around Tokyo.” “You certainly like to flatter yourself.” A rush of relief went through him now that Aziraphale looked more relaxed. “All I’m saying is, wouldn’t you rather look back and know how the night went instead?” “You’re actually serious.” “Say yes to me, Aziraphale, and I’ll make you the happiest you’ve ever been — at least for tonight.”
What Are You Doing New Year's Eve? by theshoparoundthecorner (G)
“Bit of an odd tradition, if you ask me,” he said, if not to get his mind off the longing that had settled in his chest. Aziraphale shrugged. “I think it’s rather sweet. A kiss for good luck. Seems a nice way to start the year. Very human.” Crowley nodded. “Can’t seem to keep their hands off each other, that lot. Always finding excuses. First it’s mistletoe at Christmas, then it’s luck for the New Year…” “Well there’s no need to be so grouchy about it,” Aziraphale said. “I think it’s lovely.” Crowley’s heart ached a little more as he watched Aziraphale smile up at the glowing numbers on the building above them. Yeah, he thought, lovely. Five times Crowley thought about kissing Aziraphale on New Year's Eve, and one time he did.
Pictures of You by AnnetheCatDetective (M) (WIP)
It starts with a well-meaning gift, and a hopeful invitation. Mod note: While this one is technically a likely-abandoned WIP, it does end in a satisfying place

Headcanons for Yandere Floyd and Jamil with a reader who already has a romantic partner back in their home world
Yandere Floyd and Jamil with a s/o who’s taken
Tw: yandere, manipulative behaviour, mentions of bruises
Floyd’s not too concerned, really.
Come on, did you really think Crowley will ever send you home? Floyd’s pretty sure the big guy already placed you on the back burner. That old striped beak fish is going to use you for everything you’re worth.
Ramshackle’s prefect, Beast Tamer and whatever lavish title you’ve been blessed with…
Don’t you see? They all boil down to nothing. Just shackles after shackle, binding you to Night Raven College. You’ve been presented with a duty, and you’re hardly the kind of person to cut and run, aren’t you? Striped beakfish is going to use that endearing part of you, until the day you’re dead.
So just accept that you’re staying in Twisted Wonderland, prefect. There’s nothing you can do. Whatever relationship you had in your world is null and void. Just give up on them, yeah?
Forget them. Floyd’s all you got now.
He courts with all the love in his heart. Too much love, in fact. His passion crashes into you with all the force of a wave. Seawater fills you slowly, crawling into your nose, stinging your throat. As a creature of the sea, Floyd loves like the waters of the ocean.
Some days, calm and docile, lapping at your ankles. Those days were rare.
Most days, he’ll love you like a storm. Waves towering above you, tearing into your flesh. Wild, untamed forces of nature.
Tossed around like a toy, you’re at the total mercy of Floyd’s whims. He insists on having you near him at all times. His fingers wrap around your wrist, grabbing on tight. Tight enough to leave streaks of crimson red across your skin. A cattle’s brand.
A clear sign of who you truly belong to.
Jamil’s fuming. Quietly, of course. He’s used to swallowing his anger, placating people with a placid smile.
That doesn’t mean that anger is doused. The flames are very much alive, shimmering in his gut. Forked tongues of malice licking at his heart, consuming him ever so slowly.
You had someone dear to you in the old world. A lover. Once again, Jamil’s been outclassed.
Ah, of course. He’s sorry for assuming otherwise. Do forgive him. Although, Jamil’s curious. Wouldn’t you tell him a little more about your partner?
It’s painful to listen to you chatter on about your lover, watching your eyes shine when you say their name. More then once, Jamil has to bite deep into his lower lip. The metallic taste in his mouth stops him from grabbing you and shaking some sense into that brain of yours. What does that sorry excuse of a lover have that Jamil doesn’t?
He’ll silently take note of your preferences during this conversation. What you like, what makes your cheeks flush a bright red…. This aggravating conversion was good for one thing, at the very least. Jamil has plans, of course. He’ll exploit every single one of your memories, rewriting them. Recreating fond times with Jamil by your side.
Jamil’s reaching for your hands, holding them ever so tenderly. He’ll mutter words about how sorry he is that you two lovebirds are separated by dimensions. Sob into his shoulder, he’ll hold you. Nothing he said was sincere, but your eyes tear up all the same.
Now really, are you really that easy? One tug at your heartstrings, and you come loose, crying into him. Do not fear, Jamil’s here.
He’ll always be here, whether you like it or not.

I LOVE your meta where you say that there's more of the flood and that's when you think they kissed. We got another part of 1941 so we could get more of another scene but do you really think they will? I want it to be a long time ago so much.
Yes. I mean, obviously I don't know because I'm neither involved with GO nor psychic lol but if you asked me to put money (or, worse, my book collection) on one predictive thing I've said on here, I'd put all of it on the ancient times vavoom. At minimum, I'd say it was a bonkers amount of time ago but I'm pretty sure for a few reasons that there's more of The Flood coming in S3 and that it was then. A kiss isn't even the only thing we could see from that part of the timeline, actually, which S2 suggests with the Job minisode, and is another reason to think we might revisit The Flood... we're missing the first time that Crowley called Aziraphale "angel."
We all know Crowley's been calling Aziraphale "angel" for awhile and we know that Aziraphale knows it doesn't just refer to his occupation/species but most of the instances we've heard it are in our modern era. If you're looking at how long this has all been going on for though, S2 already knocked the floor out from under us a bit by backdating the romantic "angel" to 2500 B.C. during the Job minisode. So, now, look again at what we've seen of The Flood in S1:
The Flood: "Hello, Aziraphale."
Tumblr media
Crowley barely ever calls Aziraphale "Aziraphale" in GO. He refers to him by his name in front of angels and demons constantly. That is the one time he doesn't call Aziraphale "angel". Probably because he is absolute rubbish at not making it sound affectionate lol. In theory, "angel" is a perfect coded way to be loving towards Aziraphale when they could be overheard and, sometimes, Crowley can make it sound like he's just referring to Aziraphale in the less familiar, despised term and not his name, like it's supposed to sound like. Sometimes lol. (See: "you sound jealous, angel" in the Job courtyard. It's *almost* there lol.) It's supposed to sound mildly dismissive but that demon is mush for that angel so he struggles not to make it just sound like "sweetheart" everytime he says it because that's how he means it. When they're in riskier situations around angels and demons, Crowley doesn't even go there because he knows he can't pull it off and so he just uses Aziraphale's actual name.
The only other times he refers to Aziraphale by his first name is something like when he learns about The Book of Life in S2 and grumbles to himself while alone "Aziraphale, what have you gotten yourself into?" Other than that, there's basically the bit when he's drunk in S1 and isn't actually sure he's seeing Discorporated!Aziraphale or not and whispers "Aziraphale" and there's the above bit from Mesopotamia in The Flood scene, when he shows up and greets Aziraphale by using his name. That's it. Every other damn time, it's "angel", right?
So when he shows up and greets Aziraphale with "hello, Aziraphale" during The Flood scene, that hints that "angel" is not yet a thing in Mesopotamia, right?
So, if it comes later than that, when did it start and... well... what prompted it? Generally speaking, you might have a nickname for a friend you've known for a long time or you might use terms of endearment in a general way with people but neither of those things are the way that Crowley calls Aziraphale "angel." I call my closest friend a shortened version of her first name and I call you all on here things like "my loves" and "babe (platonic)" and you know that I don't know you personally and that we aren't in a relationship lol. It's not tonally the same thing as calling your partner a term of endearment with a more intimate meaning and that's what "angel" is in Crowley and Aziraphale's relationship. By making it so that "angel" wasn't something Crowley was saying in an "angel (dismissive or attempted dismissive way)" that evolved into "angel (romantic)", they're coming out and saying that "angel (romantic)" is all that's really ever been there, with some attempts at making it sound more dismissive if they could be overheard. If it's all that's ever been there, then it had to start at some point and if it's always been "angel (romantic)", then we could assume that some bit of romance might have prompted it.
So, we're saying you can probably track how long their relationship has had a romantic element to it that they've acknowledged by tracking how long Crowley has been calling Aziraphale "angel" and if you start doing that, well...
It wouldn't make sense for it to be when they both were angels so anything pre-Eden is out (plus, Crowley might not really remember it anyway). While Crowley calls Aziraphale "an angel" on the wall in Eden-- "you're an angel, I don't think you can do the wrong thing"-- it's not the same as the affectionate "angel" he has basically made a substitute for Aziraphale's name in the future. So, it's not in Eden and it's not the next bit that we've seen chronologically, which is what we've seen of The Flood since, as we know, Crowley showed up and said "hello, Aziraphale", indicating that "angel" still isn't a thing by what we've seen of Mesopotamia... but then, the next part we see on the timeline is the Job minisode in S2 and, well...
Job: Four. separate. different. instances. of "angel"...
The first is "you sound jealous, angel" in the courtyard when Aziraphale says that demons can do whatever they want. To date, this is technically the first time we've heard this, chronologically-speaking. Only, it's not the first time Crowley's said it as it's familiar to both of them.
This same scene also results in the birth of "Crowley" in the future. It's why Crowley chose to call himself "Crowley" when he changed his name and what makes "Crowley" the same thing as "angel", just in reverse. What's of note there is that S1 gave us the scene at the crucification of Jesus wherein we see Crowley tell Aziraphale that he changed his name to "Crowley" and we don't really fully understand it in S1. We're happy for him. Seems a healthy thing to change his name when he's been through a lot of things. We're happy to refer to him as "Crowley" from here on out, right, but we don't really know what the meaning of his new name is to him or why it seems to have significance to Aziraphale. They don't tell us that until S2, when they give us the Job minisode and are all 'here is the origin story of what Aziraphale has called Crowley for thousands of years' and what does it do? It makes that scene between them in Golgotha kinda smolder, doesn't it? Because now, that scene you didn't have all the information to understand fully at the time is now something you understand as Crowley telling Aziraphale that he changed his name to something only the two of them will ever really understand. That's some passion at The Passion of the Christ, eh? lol
Following the courtyard instance of "angel" in the Job minisode, there's "are you sure, angel?" when Crowley is lighting everything on fire. This one is playful. This one is a little knowing, like he absolutely knows for sure that Aziraphale gets what he's saying and they're both bemused by it. Aziraphale responds that he's "quite sure" and he isn't disappointed. The "angel" here is coded. It's "sweetheart" in the middle of playacting at being demonic and Crowley knows that Aziraphale gets the joke but also for Aziraphale to get it-- for him to hear Crowley saying it here and in the courtyard prior and for him to get the tone of it... to be that sure, he'd have had to hear it before. The first time Crowley said it in the courtyard, it did not sound like it was new to either of them. This started before Job.
Later, there's "Blasphemy, angel? That doesn't sound like you" after Aziraphale says "oh my God" when they run into God talking to Job. This is the first instance of Crowley using "angel" when they're alone and unlikely to be overheard. It's not even an isolated one because then we have the last scene in the minisode and "I'm not taking you to Hell, angel." The Job story establishes that Crowley's just been calling Aziraphale "angel" in every instance where he can make it work since some time prior to 2500 B.C. and we still haven't seen when that began. We've seen the origin story of "Crowley" but they haven't shown us the first time Crowley called Aziraphale "angel" in that way he does... but they *have* told us via the same minisode in which they also explained the "Crowley" origin story that it first began an absolutely ridiculous amount of time ago lol. They've slapped it right down immediately after what we've seen of Mesopotamia on the timeline. They even make Aziraphale and Crowley establish that timeline for us at the start with Aziraphale saying "haven't seen you since... The Flood?" (with the most 'he knows damn right well when the last time he saw Crowley was' tone ever lol) and Crowley agreeing. This means we're missing more of The Flood, which is also hinted at in the plot of Job, which hinges on the idea that Aziraphale doesn't think that Crowley is murderous, which seems like it needs more than just Crowley being like "wow, this is pretty horrible" in his reaction to God's plan to drown everyone in the scene in The Flood that we've already seen.
So, if it's "hello Aziraphale" in what we've seen of The Flood already but then it's "angel" every other word in the Job minisode that follows it, the origin story for "angel" that we're missing is set between those two stories and if they haven't seen each other in Job since The Flood, then there's a The Flood, Part 2... so, if the first kiss was Mesopotamia and it's also the first "angel"... then we're talking about Aziraphale reacting to that first romantic "angel" in the same part of the story as this whole vavoom-y kiss. Every. single. "angel". in the series. is going to be tied to that kiss if they put them in the same scene. What are we all going to do when the secret language, sleight-of-hand show reveals the vavoom they've been stealthily referencing in every other fucking scene for the entire series? lol

Yeah, I think I’m ready to call this: Crowley and Aziraphale start S2 having drifted apart and/or fought between S1 and now. That’s why there aren’t any promo clips of the two of them - it would give away that their relationship has cooled.
Evidence:
1. Aziraphale’s snippy “I can see that” in the trailer. It’s funny, but it’s also the bitchiest he’s ever sounded talking to Crowley.
2. Crowley saying “We can do it together” and Aziraphale's surprised response, as if the idea of doing something ‘together’ is out of left field.
3. Crowley seems to have been living in his car for a while - long enough for Shax to know about it. Aziraphale either doesn’t know, or is letting the situation continue even though he has the means to stop it.
4. Crowley is hanging out in St. James’s Park without Aziraphale, and with another demon. Since when has Crowley had other friends? Didn’t every demon in Hell show up to watch him get horribly dissolved in holy water? Why is he this desperate for company? It could just be business, but Shax knows that his current address is “the Bentley”. That’s personal information.
5. (Speculative) S2 is, we hope, going to be the middle season of three. Act 2 is where the problems and complications fall, between Act 1′s set-up and Act 3′s resolution. Also, Neil has said S2 is a bit less plot-heavy compared to S1 and S3, which makes it a good place to put all the interpersonal and romantic angst, without an apocalypse taking centre stage.
6. (Speculative) One of the few, only things we know about Terry and Neil’s planned sequel that never was, is that Crowley and Aziraphale end up sharing a home in the South Downs. It makes sense that the TV season designed to bridge the gap between Good Omens the novel, and what would have been its sequel, would feature a plotline about their living arrangements, and whether they should live together.

"Because you and Mr. Fell don't ever talk to each other... You never say what you're really thinking."
I know Nina and Maggie are talking about Aziraphale and Crowley's romantic feelings here, but I think it goes so much deeper than that. Crowley and Aziraphale are both so good at assuming the other person just knows what the other has been through. They never give the reasons for the huge decisions they make for the sake of one another because they assume that the other person will just immediately understand their reasoning.
Crowley never told Aziraphale about what Gabriel said before casting "Aziraphale" into hellfire. He didn't tell him about Armageddon 2.0 or The Book of Life. In fact, he didn't tell him any of the things he learned about Gabriel in Heaven.
Crowley doesn't trust Gabriel to be in the shop again - why would he? But Aziraphale doesn't even understand just how personal it is to him because Crowley never told him.
Crowley is too afraid to do a single thing that could harm "the peaceful, fragile existence" he's carved out for the both of them, that he never gives Aziraphale the full picture! He gives enough information that allows the two of them to continue living in the same manner they always have - working well together to save the day while avoiding the big fucking whale in the room.
Even after Maggie and Nina's intervention, Crowley still isn't saying what he really wants to say! It's why he doesn't outright say "I love you" to Aziraphale, even if to him it's clear! He's trying to lay everything out on the table while essentially saying "it'll be just the two of us, just as it's always been and everything will be fine."
And Aziraphale is no better.
Every. Choice. He. Makes - he does so with Crowley in mind. Even before The Beginning, we see him try to protect Crowley, to get him to stop asking questions so he doesn't get hurt.
Aziraphale has always believed Crowley to be good, and he knows how miserable he was in Hell after he Fell. It's pretty clear both in the first and second seasons that Aziraphale doesn't see Crowley as a "true" demon - he's always been a good angel with the wrong title.
It's why he's constantly trying to get Crowley to admit that he's nice, that he cares - he's saying that he knows who Crowley is on the inside, and wants to help him regain the status he once had so that he can act on these feelings without punishment.
And yes, I believe Aziraphale includes their love for one another in that.
So when the Metatron tells Aziraphale that he could reinstate Crowley's angelhood, that he could give Crowley back everything he once had AND stay by his side - of course that's what finally convinces him to say yes.
But Aziraphale never explains any of this to Crowley. He expects that Crowley will understand, that he'll know that Aziraphale is doing all of this for him - to allow him to ask the questions and make the changes he's been talking about from the moment they met.
It's why the "nothing lasts forever" hurts even more. To Aziraphale, it means, "I don't need the bookshop if I can be with you and make you happy again", but to Crowley, he's saying "We were never going to last, no matter what we did."
If they just talked to each other, none of this would be happening!
I'm gonna fucking scream.

Good Omens 2 ending was perfect, actually, and I'm gonna talk why, cos I got a lot to say.
Naturally, massive spoilers ahead!
Tumblr media
The finale ended in a way that makes total sense to me. I hear y'all being like "this isn't canon, no, let them be happy, I hate this!" *proceeds to write a fix-it fanfic that's all fluff and kittens*, but just... listen to me for a moment.
Don't get me wrong, keep writing alternative endings for that temporary fix, but in terms of canon, I believe what Neil wrote is better than anything else that's gonna get create, more or less. Remember, it's important characters stay in-character.
Sure, I sobbed at 5am with a broken mind, heart, and hated everything in the moment, but letting it digest... it actually works very well. People want their "happiliy ever after", and I do too, eventually. But that time isn't now.
Also, side note, to anyone who sent Neil hate mail because of said ending, fuck you. Don't be a sensitive little shit and just accept that stories don't always have to be happy to still be good.
Here we have a 6000+ year relationship/friendship of two non-humans that don't know how to act around each other. THEY DON'T TALK, as Nina said. For them to suddenly get the talking bit down correctly was never going to happen. Which makes the ending so much worse. A quick kick up the backside from 2 people isn't the sudden fix-it to everything. They continued to STILL not talk, not taking even a single day to communicate, think of a plan, anything! I.e "Good luck", "Then there's nothing more to say." The Metatron told Aziraphale to take all the time he needed, and yet Az was gone within 15 mins. Crowley could've said something more, but instead chose to kiss Aziraphale.
Which while it was long overdue, I think it was still too fast. Aziraphale realized his love for Crowley in 1941, according to Michael, which is VERY late to the game, and in the 60s, he said Crowley moved too fast for him. I assume this is still the case, as the 60s wasn't that long ago in angel/demon years. The kiss probably frightened him, because we know what Aziraphale is like, has always BEEN like. He's cautious and jittery and incredibly soft. He's the emodiment of a kitten, and you need to treat him as such.
Had Crowely taken his time with Aziraphale instead, things might've been different. The outcome also might've remained the same, but there would at least be some communication, and probably much less heartbreak. In that moment, Crowley could've really poured his heart out into words, but he didn't. Even during the confession, he ended rather nonchalantly with a "you and me, what do you say?" This is after hearing Aziraphale's news. It's hardly romantic, and gives the same vibe as "let's shack up".
He should be using every ounce of his power to get Aziraphale to stay, but he doesn't. He says his piece, begins to walk off, rubs the non-relationship in Aziraphale's face, kisses him, and then leaves. All this sets up pefectly for a s3 to sort their shit out. I like that it wasn't just a fluffy arc where everything's suddenly perfect, because where would s3 go then? It would be less fun.
I like the angst. I want to enjoy a good show with conflict and difficulty and confusion and anger and whatever else. I want to watch this angel and demon evolve and go through it and realize and learn and love.
What happened at the end of s2; it was ineffable.

The Corinthian HCs
Ship: The Corinthian x GN (masc leaning) reader.
Warning: eating eyes, violence, general Corinthian behaviour.
Notes: I forgot how down bad I was for The Corinthian till after I found Hob x Morpheus fanart so here we are. This is kinda like the unofficial version on me adding the characters from The Sandman to the writing list. Also, it's been a hot minute since I've seen The Sandman so if it seems off, I'm sorry
You know the drill, all things I say are to be taken as fact at all times <3
We all know what type of man The Corinthian is.
To spell it out: possessive sweet talker with pretty eyes/j
I WHOLE HEARTEDLY believe this man has a soft side. You can not change my mind.
Once he gets to know you and you've spent some time with him, he is just as down bad as you.
We stan simp Corinthian
Though, it might not be as great as it my seem.
Like I said before, hes possessive. Take that how you will.
I saw someone else say he was possessive but not jealous. 100%. He knows how much you love him and how he could absolutely wreck someone if they were to get too close for comfort.
The only time he really gets protective (outside of daily life) is if you seem to be getting uncomfortable with someones advances.
He will not stand for that.
He probably visits your job a lot.
You work as a bartender? Hes there practically every afternoon.
You work in a library? Hes picking out a new book every day.
You work at a grocery store? Well, he just happens to need the thing for your department every week.
And hes sweet talking you the whole time.
Once, your coworker asked if you needed to go home because you were so red.
Hes not flirting. It's not flirting. Its ✨sweet talking✨
He has probably told you to call him Cori or something. Makes him feel like you are closer to him then everyone else.
He never calls you by your real name. It's always pet names or nicknames based off of your real name. His favorites are sweet heart, darlin, sugar, kitty, and love.
If he dose use your real name it's very very important and serious.
If he uses your FULL NAME? You better pray to all the gods for your life.
He has plants. Lots of them. They all have names.
Once, you two were watching Good Omens and you made a comment that he looked like Crowley. Hes been living off that high for the past month.
When Morpheus found out about you he didnt really know what to do.
On one hand, nightmares arnt really suppose to date and fall in love and such. But on the other hand, The Corinthian has calmed down A LOT.
He just kinda accepts it. Like "well, as long as he isnt killing Innocent people."
Big win in Cori's book.
On that note, yes he still kills. Yes, he still eats peoples eyes. Yes, he kills more than people that are bothering you. But it's less then what it used to be.
He has tried to get you to eat a eye.
He probably wouldn't bring you to the Cereal convention, for obvious reasons, but if he did you would have to stay locked away in the hotel room or stick right by his side the whole time.
After about five seconds of being out of the room, you came to understand why these rules were set in place.
Wether you stick with Cori or stay in the room is up to you.
If you do stay in the room though, The Corinthian would happily bring you things to do and movies to watch.
If you ever did leave the room without him, being forced out, then he would go absolutely farel on the asshole that thought they could touch you.
If you left by your own volition, he would probably be really upset and send you home in a taxi. The Corinthian might try to understand why but honestly he would just get more upset.
He is a average Twitter and Instagram user.
Probably has a steep following on both too.
He likes cat. Small animals.
He is one romantic bastard. The whole nine yards. Shitty chocolates, flowers, music, slow dancing, fancy dinners, everything.
Just like Crowley, he likes Queen.
He likes most classic rock, really.
In fact, he enjoys a wide variety of oldies music. Classical, swing, jazz, blues, blue grass. Whatever you call 1920s music.
If you play a instrument, he demands you play for him atlest once a week.
Stan a gay icon.

Ranking my top 5 Favorite Friendships in SPN
(Jack and Bobby not included bc that’s family right there)
5. Charlie and Dean : Charlie is a badass, so fuckin funny and I love that Dean and her can nerd together. Also, as a lesbian, most of my besties have been straight guys and I just like the dynamic. (but their time together was pretty brief on the show so lowest ranking, lot of potential though)
4. Crowley and Sam/Dean : After Sam almost makes Crowley human he has the biggest crush on Sam (names saved in his phone as Moose and Not Moose). He tricked Dean into getting the mark and becoming a demon bc he is a petty king. Obviously he’s a demon but at the end of the day he cares a lot about them and sacrifices himself for them.
3. Rowena and Sam : Rowena starts off rough but her and Sam really bond, especially after the whole Lucifer thing. It’s clear she really cares about him (and Dean, by extension). During Rowena’s end they’re both crying and soft and it’s just such a sweet moment of platonic love. Also in another life Sam would 100% be getting witch lessons from her and you can’t convince me otherwise.
2. Cas and Sam/Dean : Definitely starts off rocky, he guides Dean into the apocalypse and even lets Sam out of detox to start it. Then he lies to them for months to absorb the souls from purgatory and tries to become god. But in later seasons he’s really around to help out the boys, he always puts their well being in front of his own and ends up sacrificing himself for Dean. He wants them to just be happy together and hopes with all his might to be included into that little slice of happiness they finally work out for themselves. They make him more human and that means a lot to him. And as Dean said, he’s one of the best friends they’ve ever had. (Not to mention he coparented Jack with them)
1. Jody and Sam/Dean : Honestly Jody is such an icon, she’s not much older than them but she seems a lot wiser and her door is always open for them. After Bobby dies they get a lot closer and idk she feels more like an aunt than pretty much anyone else in their life. And she lends an ear whenever they have mundane troubles and she’s just a very sweet supportive friend. Also I think she’s the only person who in almost every (later) episode she’s in with the boys, she treats Sam and Dean like normal life partners (bc whether you think it’s romantic or platonic that’s what they are), everyone else pretty much just ignores it or brushes it off, but it has to be pretty affirming for them to visit her and she’s just like “I know the person most important to you and who you want to spend your life with is your brother and that’s okay and it’s good that you’ve found that for yourself”
+1. honorable mention to Meg bc she was so funny and saved both their asses so many times

Say Something Romantic
Something I wrote to kill time today, in which Crowley thinks that neither of them have what it takes to be very good at romance, and Aziraphale politely disagrees.
“I’m just saying,” Crowley was just saying, “that we aren’t exactly what you’d call a traditional couple.”
“No,” said Aziraphale. “I suppose we aren’t. But that’s not a bad thing, is it?”
“Nah, nah. It’s just, you know, a thing.”
They were walking along a street that was considerably more pink than usual. Valentine’s day was approaching fast, and all the local merchants wanted a slice of the profits. That was what had gotten them on the subject in the first place. This would be their first Valentine’s day together as an actual couple, rather than just two people who were feeling a little left out and had decided to meet up that day because it was better than being alone, as had sometimes happened in the past. They had talked it over and mutually agreed that it was silly to make a big deal out of the occasion when they had already known each other so long. Aziraphale was pretending not to know about the box of expensive chocolates that was coming his way, just as Crowley was no doubt pretending not to know about the flowers that had been ordered for him or about the carefully selected bottle of wine that was even now hiding in the cellar waiting for its moment. Certainly Aziraphale was not going to comment on the fact that for once in his long life, Crowley had actually made reservations at a restaurant just in case a miracle wasn’t enough to get a seat at the best place in town on Valentine’s day evening.
“I mean, seriously,” Crowley went on, “can you actually see me in the role of a romantic lead?”
Aziraphale thought about it. Memories flitted through his mind: being pinned against a wall in what used to be a Tadfield hospital, of that first, fierce, desperate kiss...
“Yes,” he said dreamily. “Under certain circumstances, yes, I could see that very well.”
“Huh,” said Crowley, sounding unconvinced. “So what about you, then? You really think you’d be any good at being romantic?”
Aziraphale turned that thought over in his mind a while. They were approaching their home, and he paused long enough to open the door and usher his partner through.
“I could give it a good try, I think,” he said.
Crowley sauntered his way over to the sofa and sprawled on it. “All right,” he said. “Let’s see you do it.”
“Are you sure? You won’t be embarrassed?”
“I’m used to you embarrassing me,” said Crowley airily. “Go on, hit me with your best shot. Let’s see you make me swoon.”
“Very well, then.” Aziraphale sat down on the other side of the sofa, no doubt looking very prim and proper and quite unlikely in the role of a seducer. “I’d like to think I’m rather good with words, you know. I’ve certainly read enough of them, over the years. I’ve read thousands of books over the years - hundreds of thousands, maybe millions. Hand-illuminated tomes and mass-produced paperbacks, flash-in-the-pan summer bestsellers, obscure works that never found their audience and classics that have endured for hundreds of years - I’ve read them all. I’ve read poetry that took my breath away with the clarity of its expression. I’ve seen the great performers down through the eras move their audiences to floods of tears, and heard the fiery speeches of orators who could sway the hearts and minds of millions. I have heard more stories than could be told in could be told in a human lifetime, in every language that has ever existed. And yet...” He came back from whatever dream he’d been in to look directly into Crowley’s eyes. “And yet sometimes when I look at you, and think of how much you mean to me, I am utterly lost for words.”
Crowley stared at him for a moment, looking stunned and unfocused, as though someone had just hit him very hard on the back on the head. Then he silently doubled over, burying his face in his hands. Aziraphale stared at him in mild alarm. He couldn’t see much of Crowley’s expression, but the bits of him that were visible had gone a bright red. He actually seemed to be steaming slightly.
“Oh dear,” said Aziraphale. “Did I overdo it?”
“I’m fine,” said Crowley, in a slightly choked voice. After a slight pause, he added, “Just... next time... maybe not your best shot, yeah?”
“I’ll keep that in mind,” said Aziraphale. “Are you all right? Do you need to lie down?”
“I’ll make <I>you</I> lie down in a minute,” he growled. Under his breath, he muttered something like, “As soon as I remember how to breathe again...”
“Oh, good,” said Aziraphale, at his most prim and proper. “I like it when you get assertive.”
Crowley made a frustrated noise and let himself slump against the arm of the sofa.
“Stop, stop, stop! You win already! I give up!”
“Really? I didn’t know I was trying to win anything,” said Aziraphale. He thought about adding something like, “After all, I already have your heart,” and decided that would be entirely too cruel. He settled for patting him on the shoulder instead. “Poor dear. You really aren’t used to shows of affection, are you?”
“It’s not exactly a big thing in my line of work,” said Crowley. His voice was still muffled by the arm of the sofa, but he sounded more like himself now that he had something to be sarcastic about.
“I’ll try to remember for next time,” said Aziraphale.
Or maybe not, he decided, as he did his best to coax his companion back to something like functionality. After all, he was planning on loving this man for a very, very long time - all the time there was, in fact. He had spent far too long pretending that what they had wasn’t real, or didn’t matter, or could never work. Where was the sense in holding back now?
No, as difficult as it might turn out to be, Crowley was just going to have to get used to being loved.

but is it wrong to feel upset that Neil Gaiman repeatedly acknowledged fans' readings of Azri/Crow as ace/queerplatonic if the intention was always for it to be romantic/sexual? not because that's a problem, obviously that representation is also important and I'm glad it's there, but I don't think he should've given the impression that a community with even less (practically nothing) might be represented (or at least an equally valid reading) if that was never the case? feels bad man :/
I don't think it's wrong to feel that way, because those are your feelings and you're feeling them. But I do think this is overall... a little complicated? Disclaimer before I continue: I am like a step removed from what Neil Gaiman's actions have ever been on this site or just in general lol, so I'm not speaking from the perspective of being intimately aware of the lore there or what instances you may be thinking of personally.
At minimum, all I know is that he's always said since season 1 that it's a "love story." Does that necessarily have to equal romance? I mean... no, because "love story" is a storytelling framework, but also. Well. [gestures vaguely]
But! That aside – again without knowing the history of potentially specific instances – I will say two things:
Acknowledgement of fan readings or gratitude or headcanons or whatnot does not have to always be, like, word-of-author-God tacit endorsement or confirmation of canon. It could very well be "I'm glad you enjoyed it, or "I'm glad you see yourself / see value in this story," or even (based on what I remember of some of the Discourse of the time) "I'm glad you're advocating for the legitimacy of the love in this story." What I'm trying to say (as gently as possible) is that him liking posts or engaging with fans' happiness was not necessarily a promise with any specificity of the nuances of the characters' identities in canon or where the story might go in future. Hell, it's even likely that he engaged with such a spectrum of fan content years ago that some could consider things he acknowledged to be contradictory, i.e. maybe he liked a sex indifferent ace reading and also liked a demi-and-super-into-each-other ace reading for example. (There's also something to be said for how messy things can get when a creator is this dialed into fandom conversations and engages with fans directly, because then people read into the creator's every online move, and some of the onus is on the creator for that broadly speaking, but... I digress.) So essentially, it's very possible with whatever acknowledgements he made that he wasn't intending to be giving impressions or promises of future material at all.
This is pure conjecture, but there's also nothing to say that he did always know what the "intention" would be in regards to the extent of the romantic or sexual nature of Aziraphale and Crowley's relationship. It's highly possible their relationship has evolved as much for Neil as it has for us. Writing can be like that, y'know? The characters or the way you end up taking their story can surprise you. And that's especially true in the case here, since there was an original book, and then the show vastly expanded upon their relationship in season 1, and now everything beyond that is largely uncharted story waters in terms of character work. I'd bet on it tbh. When Neil was liking tumblr posts or whatever back in ye old 2019, who knows how much he had mapped out for the future at that point?
But like, look. You're not wrong if you feel bad about it, as long as you're being normal about feeling bad (and you seem to be), aka not taking it out on anyone else or shitting on what the story is now or may become in future.
I also want to add that I don't think an ace spectrum reading has to inherently be considered irrelevant now or in the future for these characters? Yet I also very much know that that can sound like bullshit if a specific flavor of ace spectrum reading is what you had in mind, so I'm sympathetic to that :/
I don't know if this is very helpful smh but uhhh those are my thoughts. At the end of the day I'm sorry you're upset and I hope you continue to enjoy the characters / the show!

Hi lovely mods! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WHAT YOU’RE DOING <3 this blog is a treasure! I’m currently looking for fics centred around Crowley’s thoughts: his/their real-time perspective on things happening, unvoiced feelings or opinions. Pining and/or fluff preferred, but not necessary. Would you happen to know any fics like that? Thanks so much in advance!
Hello and you’re welcome! We have some Crowley POV fics here. And i’ve got some fluffy pining Crowley POVs fics now...
10 Tips How to Make an Angel Fall in Love with You by sashushilda (G)
When Crowley wants to win Aziraphale's heart, he turns to Google for help and finds some tips how to engage with someone romantically. He follows them step by step.
_________________________________________________
"Science claims that there is one and one object only that never stops getting bigger - the Universe. Other things wear down, come to an end, stop, prendre fin. And Crowley's patience was not an exception."
Twin Suns by IneffableDoll (T)
“I thought you were gone,” Crowley mumbled, and it was almost cliché, it was almost the kind of sentimental rubbish he would’ve moaned at had he heard it from someone else. But they were the rawest words he could manage. He’d thought Aziraphale was gone. That was all, and it said everything.
***
Directly following their celebratory meal at the Ritz, Aziraphale and Crowley clash with the feelings that struggle to settle after everything they’ve been through. And, in so doing, learn to rely on and communicate with each other in new ways.
Courtship Rituals by CopperBeech (T)
Crowley has a secret related to Valentine's Day. Two of them, actually.
They were going to be there when the Valentine arrived. Aziraphale would open it: he wouldn’t be able to resist, his first postal delivery at his new shop. Would it be an enquiry from a customer? Someone with a book to sell? News of a volume he’d been hunting for? And would he be able to disguise his reaction to:
Angel who owns all my heart,
Let this bear my fervent plea,
The time that we must spend apart
Is eternity to me.
I offer all my love to you,
Say to me that you’ll be mine,
I shall be for ever true
If you’ll be my Valentine.
It was hideous cant, and Crowley felt that the poet, in his way as eloquently as Will, had laid his innermost heart bare. He had not considered the possibility of it being laid bare in front of Gabriel and Sandalphon.
I Really Don't Know Clouds At All by theshoparoundthecorner (G)
If another rainstorm was what it took to give him an excuse to talk to him again, then so be it. Crawly hoped for another. He hoped for a thousand more. A thousand more storms, a thousand more opportunities to speak to this unusual angel he couldn’t seem to get out of his head.
Every rainstorm after brought him a funny sort of comfort. A memory of shelter, of good conversation, of new beginnings. This new world was full of so much potential, and Crawly couldn’t wait to see how it was all going to work out.
Every rainstorm after was beautiful. Fresh, and new, and exciting.
Every rainstorm after, he searched just a little to see if Aziraphale was nearby, and every rainstorm after, he was not.
Until he was.
But in a way, Crawly wished he hadn’t been.
Worth the Price by VerdantVulpus (T)
Crowley has never felt happier. He's survived the End (twice) and he's with Aziraphale. He's come through it all unscathed. He's free. What could go wrong?
Memoirs of a Demon (Or letters to Aziraphale) by KillerQueen20 (G)
Anthony J. Crowley has spent 6000 years of his existence on earth and of course that, for a demon like him, they have not been boring at all.
He himself has wrote all his experiences and feelings here, in the form of letters addressed to his angel. But what can a demon say about life and love?

The Last Time I’ll Write a Long Post About Supernatural (15x18-15x20)
15 YEARS OF WATCHING THIS SHOW. 11 YEARS OF RUNNING A BLOG ABOUT IT. IT’S BEEN QUITE A RIDE.
[15x20 Speculation + evidence at the bottom]
First off, I just wanna come clean and say, after all these years, I still think they should’ve ended at Season 5.
If you’re going to come at me with “Then why’d you stick around to watch it if you didn’t like it?”, your question is immature, and the answer is simple: I just want to know what happens next (I also love the main characters and their actors too). You can watch a show and still think it’s shit.
Call me a clown, but despite all the disappointment and trust issues that this show has given me, I would still look forward to the day where it might just turn itself around and bring back the quality it once had, or realize the potential of each story it was trying to tell, or at the very least, do justice by my favorite ship.
Never happened.
They’ve had a few good episodes here and there. I can’t imagine the SPN Universe without The Man Who Would Be King, The French Mistake, and Scoobynatural. Seasons 6-10 were enjoyable at times. I blocked out most of 7 & 11-15.
If you’ve been following this blog since its heydays in 2010-2014, you’d know I’d try my best to defend Destiel and this show’s decisions regarding it no matter what.
Because you know what, as a CONCEPT, this show is good. If you take a look at all the worlds its storylines have birthed in fanfiction/fanworks, you’d see how much Supernatural has wasted its own story arcs. The writing got shittier as each season progressed, and they’ve obviously given up in production as well because the quality in the execution has noticeably gone down too, but if you take a step back and take a look at the bigger picture, you’ll see that this show still tries to make sense of itself.
[If you’re still following this post, please bear with me, I know this is long, but I just want you to understand how jaded and pessimistic I am with regards to this show, so maybe you can buy into whatever hopeful thing I’m about to say later on.]
SO LET’S TALK ABOUT DESTIEL
Never in my wildest dreams did I think that they would give us Castiel’s “I love you” speech. To the point where, if I weren’t so desperate for it, I would argue that it was completely out of character for him to word vomit the way he did (but I’m not gonna diss on that right now because I’ll take what I can get).
I’ve valued every meaningful and obscure exchange that Dean and Cas have had in the earlier seasons, and I was willing to accept their relationship as just that--undefined, without any clear boundaries as to what they really are. And I think that was beautiful on its own.
But now, they’ve chosen to define it.
After they’ve driven every possible wedge between Dean and Castiel in seasons 11-15, to try to explain away their feelings as something they offer to a collective.
Dean can’t mourn and pray for JUST Cas, he has to mourn and pray for EVERYBODY--even Crowley, even some chick he just met, because god forbid he cries about just the guy who has given up everything for him--that would be “too homo”.
They’ve even set Cas on a path to abrupt fatherhood just so he can care about something other than Dean. Make it seem as if Dean wasn’t his purpose through and through.
And after all these years of this stupid show trying to deny it, they choose to acknowledge it at the worst possible circumstance, at a time where they’ve been so far apart, that it seems so foreign for them to suddenly come together.
But here we are. And they’ve chosen to tell us.
Chosen to tell us that everything that Castiel has done leading up to his death, he has done it because he was IN LOVE WITH DEAN WINCHESTER.
Chosen to tell us that the ONE THING THAT WOULD MAKE CAS HAPPY IS DEAN WINCHESTER.
Chosen to tell us that BEING WITH DEAN WINCHESTER is something that CAS WANTS BUT KNOWS HE CAN’T HAVE.
And they’ve also chosen to tell us nothing about how Dean feels.
Sure, finding out your angel made a deal, the stipulations of said deal, his newfound happiness philosophy, his long-winded monologue of why he loves you and why you’re worthy of his love, and to top it all off he tells you that being in love with you is enough to make him happy while he subtly hints that he’s always wanted to be WITH you romantically, was a lot to process in the 5 minutes after you’ve just had an existential crisis.
It’s whatever, right? Let’s culminate 11 years worth of tension and feelings in 5 minutes. Let’s waste the entire episode with cringey expository dialogue, and irrelevant sequences. The whole season was a waste anyway.
You know what Supernatural? FUCK YOU FOR THAT. They deserved better. WE deserve better.
And I would love nothing more than to hurl every possible insult your way,
But for the last time, I’m going to HOPE that you’re finally going to try to make it better for the fans that stuck by you all these years.
No more baiting new viewers, no more placating casual viewers, no more excuses. 15 years. Bring it home for the people who have actually been around.
SO HERE’S HOW I THINK 15x20 IS GONNA GO
There’s two ways this series is gonna end. Horribly or Spectacularly.
First let’s all take into consideration what Andrew Dabb says about it:
Tumblr media
So, let’s start with
ENDING HORRIBLY
In this scenario, Misha is telling the truth about his last day of filming being 15x18. His “camping trip” during the last few days of filming 15x20, was actually a camping trip. He doesn’t go to Vancouver to shoot.
Jensen wasn’t “being careful” during the zoom interviews that it was just him and Jared quarantining for the shoot, it really was just him and Jared (althought most of these were done pre 15x19) Supernatural isn’t smart enough to do misleading PR, and they’re once again oblivious to the potential of their own story.
Misha hasn’t posted a “Goodbye Castiel” tweet because he’s probably saving it for last episode or he forgot because it was overshadowed by the Destiel trend that night.
So what we get is:
Sam and Dean are on the road again, up against the monster of the week. Only their world no longer has actual Supernatural beings anymore, so the monsters they’re fighting are humans.
Tumblr media
Humans end up killing the Winchesters (despite having gone up against literally every powerful being imaginable INCLUDING God himself). Dean and Sam end up in heaven and relive their greatest hits.
Meanwhile, Castiel rots in The Empty because he died after realizing that he was happy and gay. Jack doesn’t bother rescuing him—his surrogate dad, the guy who made this specific deal to spare him—even though it was so easy for him get Cas in and out of The Empty when he had a fraction of the power that he has now.
Dean never speaks of Castiel’s confession because despite all the hints of a profound bond in the earlier seasons, and the fact that Dean has never cared for anyone (who isn’t his actual brother) as immensely as he does Cas, Supernatural just can’t have its main macho character be “suddenly bisexual” because that would hurt the male ego or some shit.
His heaven would probably be living happily ever after with his family. “Family” meaning Mary and John Winchester--two of the shittiest parents ever (but they’re not going to include them in this episode like they were supposed to because of Covid) and Sam.
Sam also gets a dog. As usual.
I wouldn’t put it past Supernatural to do this. After everything they’ve pulled, this would be right up their alley. I actually expect this ending.
Anyway, onto the next possible ending
ENDING SPECTACULARLY
In this scenario, Supernatural tries to stick the landing, and Jensen’s whole “It didn’t sit well with me at first, but then I took a step back after talking to Kripke, and realized that I had to view it from an audience perspective, I am now really excited about it” (DC Con 2019) anecdote about his thoughts on the final episodes, were actually about Dean potentially ending up with Cas. (Which would totally make sense because Jensen at first didn’t see Dean as anything but hetero, but as of late, he has been throwing in Destiel jokes of his own, so he seems to have warmed up to the idea)
Backed with Misha’s tidbit (DLConline 2020) that he and Jensen had conversations about Destiel, and that they wouldn’t have gone through with it if Jensen wasn’t onboard with it, but Jensen didn’t push back at all. (Why would they need to check with Jensen if it was just Cas going all in?)
Robert Berens (writer of 15x18) also wrote the script at the beginning of Season 15, but made Misha privy to the concept a year prior (Season 14), so they went into this season knowing about Destiel going canon.
This one’s a reach, but this scenario also supposes that Misha was lying about his whereabouts during the filming of the final episode, and him saying that 15x18 was his last episode is part of the diversion to avoid taking away from the weight of Castiel’s death.
And that Supernatural is actually self-aware of its own material (similar to how they have wrapped things up in the past—lots of expository dialogue, poor execution, but fulfills the story arc)
Since Season 15 is basically a Meta Season (Chuck/God as a writer, pretentiously calling out how he created the worlds, its characters, and basically invalidating the past 14 seasons), and 15x19 is supposedly the finale for Season 15, written by two of the worst Supernatural writers, Brad Buckner and Eugenie Ross-Leming (Bob Singer’s wife), then we can assume that 15x19 is where the shitty writers kill themselves--as Chuck, of course.
So we get a badly written episode that produces a bad ending, or as Becky put it, “All action, and no Cas”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So we get the bad writers season ending at 15x19.
And 15x20 is where Sam and Dean write their own stories, and where the cast had a hand in pitching ideas for it.
Tumblr media
Dabb has mentioned that 15x20 (Act Two) is a SERIES finale, where they try to resolve the characters’ journeys.
Because as everyone has acknowledged, Supernatural isn’t about the story, it’s about the characters.
So here’s what we can get out of it:
With no more Supernatural beings left to fight, Sam and Dean are in a stalemate. They’ve resigned themselves to fighting to the bitter end, but the “end” has passed, and they’re still standing.
So they try to figure out who they are now, and what they want out of the life they still have.
Sam still wants a normal apple pie life. Before Dean dragged him out of college to go hunting with him, he had a whole life planned out for him. Become a lawyer, settle down with a nice girl, and get a dog. He gave all that up because they had work to do, but now the work is finished, he can finally go back to wanting that for himself again.
Dean finally realizes his self-worth after Cas saves him again. His prayer to Cas in purgatory may have helped him come to terms with his anger, but the whole “you’ve done everything you did for love” speech finally put him in his place, and he learns not to hate himself anymore.
But of course, he cannot fully reconcile with himself if he doesn’t get Cas back, and tell him how he feels.
Because Dean actually wants something for himself this time. Something he knows he can finally have if he can just salvage it.
So maybe this time around, with the help of Jack (off-screen), Dean saves Cas. Grips him tight and raises him from perdition.
They bypass The Empty deal by turning Cas human, and he lives the rest of his days with Dean.
Dean and Cas know they deserve to be saved, and they know that they deserve to be happy.
(Wishful thinking, maybe they kiss a little)
Anyway...
I’m just saying, there’s NO WAY that they’d have Cas go through that whole rushed speech, if they weren’t going to do anything about it later on.
But again, after 10 years of disappointment, I wouldn’t put it past Supernatural to pat themselves on the back and say, “Okay, we sort of gave them what they wanted. We’re good now”
If that’s the case, Supernatural, I’m sorry I wasted my time on you.
Here’s to hoping 🤡

I keep seeing people calling Good Omens queer bating and a I can't help but ask why? I read the Aziraphale/Crowley relationship threw an Ace lens and they are clearly as close to married as they are probably going to get without stepping on holy ground.... and they love each other... why is it considered queer bating?
Personally, I think it's mostly young queer fans turning legitimate grievances on the wrong target. A case of getting so fed up with queerbaiting in media as a whole that they're instinctually lashing out at anything that seems to resembles it on the surface, without taking the time to consider whether this is, in fact, the thing they're mad at. Good Omens is a scapegoat, if you will. The equivalent of snapping at your partner after a long day. Your friend was an asshole, your boss was an asshole, the guy in traffic was an asshole, and then you come home to your partner who says something teasing and you take it as another asshole comment because you've just been surrounded by assholeness all day, to the point where your brain is primed to see an attack. Your partner wasn't actually an asshole, but by this point you're (understandably) too on guard to realize that. Unless someone sits you down and kindly reminds you of the difference between playful teasing and a legitimate insult - the nuance, if you will - your hackles are just gonna stay up and you'll leave the room, off to phone a different friend to tell them all about how your partner was definitely an asshole to you.
Only in this case, that "friend" is a fan on social media doing think pieces on the supposed queerbaiting of Good Omens, spreading that idea to a) people who aren't familiar with the show themselves and b) those who, like that original fan, have come to expect queerbaiting and thus aren't inclined to question the latest story with that mark leveled against it. Because on the surface Good Omens can look a lot like queerbaiting. Here are two queer coded characters who clearly love each other, but don't say "I love you," don't kiss, don't "prove" that love in a particular way. So Gaiman is just leading everyone on, right?
Well... no. This is where the nuance comes in, the thing that many fans aren't interested in grappling with (because, like it or not, media is not made up of black and white categories; queerbaited and not-queerbaited. Supernatural's finale is proof enough of that...) I won't delve into the most detailed explanation here, but suffice to say:
Gaiman has straight up said it's a love story. He's just not giving them concrete labels like "gay" or "bi" or "asexual," etc. because they are literally not human. Gaiman has subscribed to an inclusive viewpoint in an era where fans are desperate for unambiguous rep that homophobes cannot possibly deny. The freedom to prioritize any interpretation - yes, including a "just friends" interpretation - now, in 2021, feels like a cop-out. However, in this case it's an act of world building (they are an angel and a demon, not bound by human understanding of identity) meeting a genuine desire to make these characters relatable to the entire queer community, not just particular subsets. Gaiman has said they can be whatever we want because the gender, sexuality, and romantic attraction of an angel and a demon is totally up for debate! However, some fans have interpreted that as a dismissal of canonical queerness; the idea that fans can pretend they're whatever they want... but it's definitely not canon. It is though. Them being queer is 100% canon, it's just up to us to decide what kind of queer they are. This isn't Gaiman stringing audiences along, it's him opening the relationship up to all queer possibilities.
We know he's not stringing us along (queerbaiting) because up until just a few days ago season two didn't exist. Queerbaiting is a deliberate strategy to maintain an audience. A miniseries does not need to maintain its audience. You binge it in one go and you're done, no coming back next year required. The announcement for season two doesn't erase that context for season one. No one knew there would be more content and thus the idea that they would implement a strategy designed to keep viewers hooked due to the hope for a queer relationship (with no intent to follow through) is... silly.
In addition, this interpretive, queer relationship between Crowley and Aziraphale existed in the book thirty years ago. Many fans are not considering the difference between creating a totally new story in 2019 and faithfully adapting a story from 1990 in 2019. Good Omens as representation meant something very different back then and that absolutely impacts how we see its adaptation onto the small screen. To put this into perspective, Rowling made HUGE waves when she revealed that she "thought of" Dumbledore as gay in an interview... in 2007. Compare that to the intense coding 17 years before. Gaiman was - and still is - pushing boundaries.
Which includes being an established ally, particularly in his comics. Queerbaiting isn't just the act of a single work, but the way an author approaches their work. Gaiman does not (to my knowledge) have that mark against him and even if he did, he's done enough other work to offset that.
Finally, we've got other, practical issues like: how do you represent asexuality on the screen? How do you show an absence of something? Yeah, one or both of them could claim that label in the show, outright saying, "I'm asexual," but again, Gaimain isn't looking to box his mythological figures into a single identity. So if we want that rep... we have to grapple with the fact that this is one option for what it looks like.
Even if he did want to narrow the representation down to just a few identities for the show, should Gaiman really be making those major changes when he's only one half of the author team? Pratchett has, sadly, passed on and thus obviously has no say in whether his characters undergo such revisions. Even if fans hate every other argument, they should understand that, out of respect, Good Omens is going to largely remain the same story it was 30 years ago.
And those 6,000 years are just the beginning! Again, this was meant to be a miniseries of a single novel, a novel that, crucially, covered only Crowley and Aziraphale's triumph in being able to love one another freely. That's a part of their personal journey. Yeah, they've been together in one sense for 6,000 years, but that was always with hell and heaven on their backs, to say nothing of the slow-burn approach towards acknowledging that love, for Aziraphale in particular. We end the story at the start of their new relationship, one that is more free and open than it ever was before. They can be anything to one another now! The fact that we don't see that isn't a deliberate attempt on the author's part to deny us that representation, but only a result of the story ending.
So yeah, there's a lot to consider and, frankly, I don't think those fans are considering it. Which on a purely emotional level I can understand. I'm pissed about queerbaiting too and the knee-jerk desire to reject anything that doesn't meet a specific standard is understandable. But understandable doesn't mean we don't have to work against that instinct because doing otherwise is harmful in the long run. We need to consider when stories were published and what representation meant back then. We need to consider how we adapt those stories for a modern audience. We need to acknowledge that if we want the inclusivity that "queer" provides us, that includes getting characters whose identity is not strictly defined by the author as well as characters with overtly canonical labels. We need both. We likewise need to be careful about when having higher standards ends up hurting the wrong authors - who are our imperfect allies vs. those straight up unwilling to embrace our community at all? And most importantly, we have to think about how we're using the terms we've developed to discuss these issues. Queerbaiting means something specific and applying it to Good Omens not only does Good Omens a disservice, but it undermines the intended meaning of "queerbaiting," making it harder to use correctly in the future. Good Omens is not queerbaiting and trying to claim it is only hurts the community those fans are speaking up for.
