Look all I’m saying is that the ball boys in tennis are the most Whumpee coded thing I have ever seen
They stand a perfect attention completely focused on their task
They’re quiet and non-intrusive
When it’s time to complete their one given task they bolt onto the field, immediately off, and resume the position as quickly as possible
They wear uniforms
They’re not paid
You know that clip of the poor kid that slips and bashes his face into the side? He just stands up with no fucking emotion and no one helps him. He just goes back to his job. Funny yes but also holy shit why did no one check if he was okay.
Why are there like six little whumpees running around every tennis match? Who allowed this? I wanna see them cry lmao

WIP Wednesday - The Girl in IT, Pt. 8
I know, I know, I still have to post Pt. 7, but what's a little tease for my babies? As I mentioned in my previous post, there will be a slight time jump. What do you think is going to happen? (Hint- Tagssssss!)
"The conference should only be a few days, baby."
Pouting, you wrap your arms around Joel from behind as he buttons up his flannel. "I know, it's just… I feel weird staying here while you're gone."
"But Ellie's gonna be here, right? You won't be alone. Hell, she's probably going to convince you to play hooky and take her to the record shop," he reassures you with a smile in the mirror, taking your hand and placing a gentle kiss on it. "She's going to keep you so occupied you won't even notice I'm gone. What's the worst that could happen?"
"Have you spent time with Ellie lately? You know anything could happen when she's around."
Joel smirks, "I guess you're right. I still need to fix the oven from her latest kitchen mishap. But don't worry, if you bring Sir Bubbles with you, she'll be occupied for days. She seems to like him more than both of us combined."
"But do you really have to go, Joel?" you protest, sinking onto Joel's bed with a playful pout. "I'm sure Tommy can handle things; he's a big boy."
Joel raises an intrigued eyebrow. "Bigger than me, Mami?"
Gazing up at the ceiling, a sudden wave of unease twists your expression. "Joel, how are you feeling? I think there might have been something wrong with the breakfast we had this morning," you rasp, brushing aside his teasing question.

you like tagalongs but not do-si-dos??? canceled! cancelation for mother!
I don't know what do-si-dos is other than something you do in square dancing.
Being real here, I have celiac disease and don't buy girl scout cookies at all. Also I used to work in tourism in Savannah, GA and highly dislike the girl scouts because of the entitled girl scout groups I had to deal with. Also I take issue with the parents of the girls peddling the cookies on everyone rather than making the girls do the actual work. It's rare these days an actual girl goes door to door or runs the tables. It's always parents or parents at work saying 'my daughter is selling cookies here.' No sir, this is you selling cookies and I don't see how this helps your daughter develop any of the skills selling cookies is supposed to develop when its mom and dad doing all the work. Anyway there's my unpopular opinion rant I can be cancelled for. 😌

Things you NEED to pack if you're going for a multiple day vacation/field trip
As promised here's the post, hope y'all like this one!
A blow drier. Even if your hair is short and don't think you need it for the obvious reason, think about getting your shirt wet in the hotel room and needing to dry it immediately
Extra pairs of socks or underwear, emphasis on underwear. It's better to have more than have less.
Despite the weather, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, umbrella and a coat are a must. You never know what might suddenly change.
A pen/pencil and something to write on. You never know!!!
A pair of scissors and or tape! You don't realize how useful these can be
Power strip or these smaller ones. Especially if you're going with friends!
Speaker. Trust me.
I hope these helped you out, and if you're going on a field trip, remind you the extra things you might need. I hope you have a wonderful day/night!!
