Tim had his spleen removed, right. This means he would not be able to withstand bacterial infection as well (a.k.a. getting sick, which happens a lot when people get injured or sleep deprived cause their immune system weakens), so for his own safety, he would likely take care of himself more than the other bats would care for themselves. He probably wouldn't get in a fight he knows he would badly lose, or win but get very injured during. Tim would be the calm and calculating one. He already is deemed as smart and a great detective, so that makes him even scarier.

He gets a reputation as a vigilant far more dangerous from his siblings, cause he perches like a bird above the fight, but if he gets involved, then the villains know they're goners. It’s such a small moment and maybe I just have brain rot or something but in the beginning when Splinter is talking abt why he hates humans it’s Mikey specifically that chimes in with that little “you don’t know that.” And just UGH

Even just by his tone you can tell that he knows his words aren’t going to change anything because they’ve had this conversation too many times. But also Mikey was the one Splinter almost lost that day, like if Splinter was any slower Mikey would’ve been gone.

And you just know in the minds of children Mikey equated their isolation from humans as being his fault because he almost got ran over as a baby.

Like I don’t wanna say it because sometimes leads to unnecessary angst, but children who grow up isolated from everyone else believing that they can’t confide in their parent often blame themselves for their parents decisions.

Donnie and Raph back talk and make fun of Splinter the most but Mikey does it like once and Leo does it never. So you can tell Leo and Mikey don’t get upset with their father, they get upset with themselves for the way things are and I just

okay call me cynical but i'm at that point where i want five's story to end with him dying. i know a lot of people are probably going to disagree with me because it's going to feel like a slap in the face for him to die after everything he's gone through but i just feel like him having a bittersweet ending is way more satisfying to me than some wishy-washy 'everything worked out and they all lived happily ever after' no consequences kind of ending. i want a five who spent years trying to save his family from dying, always being the one to survive, always being the one left alone at the end of everything, to die saving his family. i want a five who realises it's him that's been causing their fates this entire time, that it's always been him, that five is the apocalypse because his messing with the timeline had made such a mess of things that the universe tried to take the hargreeves out of the equation entirely. give me a five who finally realises the only way to save them is to take himself out of the equation instead.

may I suggest that, as an alternative to immediate death, Chayanne is just afraid and alone and the eggs have all caused each other's mental health to spiral? We have the message about him thinking he's failed his siblings. We know he doesn't believe he's been protecting them. All the eggs are in a very dangerous situation, stressed and broken down just like their parents, and he just wants his loved ones to be safe. Which is all the eggs, but especially Tallulah. It's not begging because he's I'm the process of dying, he's begging because he can only get a handful of words across and that's what is most important to him. I miss you, I'm scared, I love you... None of that is important if Tallulah isn't okay. And we know he thinks he failed her and all his siblings. Why does he deserve to be loved or scared or helped if he couldn't save his siblings? I don’t know what’s worse.

The fact that Yoshi clearly did not think the shredder was real. Meaning he slowly came to the realization that his family had been killing themselves over nothing, that he lost his family to nothing, lost his mother to nothing but a fairytale, and now here was his grandfather expecting him to do the same. He spent years thinking his family destroyed themselves over nothing more than a hallucination or a family history so warped from the truth it could never possibly be real. He spent his entire life trying to get as far away from that as possible.

Or the fact that he suddenly was faced with the horrific reality that it was real. That he could lose his children to this.

That his family expected him to sacrifice his children to this.
