I bought Bloodweave candles from Planeshift Candles and I don't want them to know how much I love and obsess over their candles (we are mutuals) so now I'm yelling about it on tumblr instead of twitter SO!

Gale smells of like a . Sweet masculine cologne and Astarion smells citrusy (bergamot...) and I've been letting them perfume my room for the past few days and yall I'm just thinking about Gale's tent smelling like this 😭😭😭

My new DD funko arrived and he's ADORABLE!

And since the DD pop shelf has grown incredibly cramped, I finally made the decision to move the funkos on my General Marvel shelf up top to another location, thus clearing room for Matt to spread out a bit (esp considering the She Hulk Matt Murdock figure I preordered last year should be here within the next few months).

A cool detail that I really enjoy in totk is that there are more roads. Kakariko, for example, only had a single path in and out of the village in botw, but in totk the road goes through either side of the village. The world is more connected now, Hyrule is continuing to rebuild, and with the princess back, it's unifying again as well. It's just a really nice detail and I adore it.

realized moments ago that i'm almost out of my fragrance of choice (the pran fragrance!) and truly like. idk, adulthood is a series of letting yourself use up the things that make you feel good, huh?

#i bought another bottle on sale but idk i'm always just a bit surprised when i use something up until completion #it feels a bit like a milestone--like here's something you chose for yourself and stuck with #and wore every single day for months or years #i guess i just find myself throwing out a lot of half used makeup or creams that i got as gifts and didn't use a lot of #that it's really novel when I /do/ finish something that i chose for myself #yknow? #i felt the same way when i burned through my first candle last year--it was this overpriced giftshop one that i love the scent of #and i loved the scent of it to use it so much #and now as I see the wax of the candles i bought afterward get lower and lower #it feels like another testament to me loving something enough to use it often and regularly #anyway buying that fragrance was truly such a god tier move cause 1) it's so good and #2) it really lets me relate to how feral pat is about the way pran smells

#or rather I've gotten into phlur lol #i asked my very fashionable and of-the-moment sister for perfume recs for my birthday a while back and she gave me: #1. the missing person travel size 2. the nest golden nectar travel size and 3. the replica by the fireplace travel size #and I BLEW through missing person I loved it so much I had to get the full bottle #I got the travel tangerine boy as a summer scent and while I think it has poor lasting power I love the smell and plan to rebuy #I got the travel father figure just yesterday lol I wanted to try a fig scent #I bought the ellis brooklyn sunfruit travel size for my eurotrip this year and mostly used it up there #and juliette has a gun's not a perfume superdose is another recent purchase. I couldn't smell the normal perfume well #but I like skin scents and gave the superdose a try and could smell it! #i want to test out some diptyque scents... I walked into a diptyque store in london but the scent wall was being monopolized by someone els #so i didnt end up testing anything lol #anyways... what are your favorite scents??? #missing person is MY SCENT i adore it and really want to branch into using the body wash/lotion/candle #also im ignoring the imaginary authors tiny tester bottles to the right... i bought an exploration kit from them A YEAR ago and honestly... #I didn’t like a single scent :/

not to be dramatic but getting myself a wax warmer was one of the best things I've done for myself in terms of 'little things to make myself happy' I am terrified of open flame in the house due to past life events but really love scent as something that can soothe and calm and idk I just love that I can fill my house with scents I like and that are soothing but there's no fire and I am focusing on more like this for 2024. Welcoming little simple things into my life that I may have said 'no, that's frivolous' to before.

#plug in air fresheners often caused migraines like. a lot. A LOT. and just. weren't good. scents very limited. #spray air fresheners same thing but with the added worry of the shit landing in the cats' water & food dishes #I got a wax warmer for my room and loved it. got a christmas one for the living room. my mom got me one for the living room year round #hell my brother even got himself one for his room #they are so soothing and not overpowering and there's such a range of scents #I smelled like. all the ones at the store and I was surprised by how few were like oh god no migraine town (for me anyway) #considering how many scents there are. with the plug ins it's usually the opposite like 80% send me to migraine town #idk I am just. so happy rn. chilling out in my living room. that smells. just pleasant! not overbearing. no flame! no weird shit in the air #just pleasant. and soooo much cheaper than candles too omg #fully leaning into coloring again #idc how ridiculous it is everyone made fun of me in high school for still coloring now there's 11 billion ~adult~ coloring books out there #fuck yeah little things! #erin explains it all
