“Izuku?”

His whole body jolted as he heard a familiar voice calling him from the door way. It was Momo. Oh god... She must think he’s a complete loser for crying and having a breakdown. But that couldn’t be father from the truth. 

She went over and sat by his side while on the couch. There’s wasn’t a word but she pulled him gently from his curled position and into her arms. The tears welling up all over again as she hugged him. 

“It’s okay.” She said softly. “It’s okay to feel like this, but you’re not any different.” She told him while rubbing his back. “I care about you.”

Her words cut deep as he buried his face in her chest as he cried silently. He couldn’t stop, the tears streaming down his face as she consoled him. 

“That’s it. Let it out.” 

He wrapped his arms around her, getting all of his sadness out. He couldn’t even find it in him to speak, only gasps and hiccups with his breath. Momo didn’t mind. She just wanted to be here for him.
