Merlin fandom: I have finally seen the first season of Merlin and you guys were absolutely right! This is the most bisexual show I’ve ever seen. The majority of the fandom was correct in that there was not nearly enough moments or chemistry to work with to ship Arthur with his literal wife, and the contrast is Gwens chemistry with Morgana (which is amazing) and her chemistry with Lancelot (that made me want to flip a table it was so good. That scene where she asks him to stay had me swooning) she even has chemistry with Merlin, but she and Arthur just didn’t have enough going for me.

And that’s the Merthur of it aside. But oh my god those boys were so gay for each other, they had no right being that obsessed with each other. Merlin is a messy little slut, and he has chemistry with everyone. Merlin could get it.

And Arthur has exclusive chemistry with Merlin (and a little with Lancelot)

But it’s only season one and Merlin and Arthur have already been referred to multiple times as each others destiny, two sides of the same coin, it’s like they’re trying to avoid the word ‘soulmate’ while explicitly telling us that what this is. Merlin has already referred to the idea of Arthur’s death as “unthinkable”, Arthur disobeyed his father and risked his life to get Merlin a flower, Merlin felt Arthur in danger and while comatose created a ball of light to guide him out of the darkness, Arthur disobeyed his father again to help Merlins mom, this shit is the most soulmate shit I’ve ever seen, and it’s only the first season! And you expect me to go 4 more seasons of this crap, not one single kiss, and then Arthur doesn’t even make it? I can’t believe you guys suffered this in real time, it must have been agonising. You’re all so brave.
