One Doodle That Can't Be Undid Homeskillet
Jonah Simms x Reader ,, Garrett McNeill x Reader (Platonic)
"I was thinking like jonah and garrets bestie reader gets heavy baby fever after Cheyenne gives birth and she just tells them both "i want a baby too" and they brush it off thinking she isnt serious but then she keeps mentioning it and then one of them sits her down and asks if that's what she really wants and then reader gets pregnant and she is so happy!"
Word count: 1.9k
Requested by Anon <3
————————————————————————
"I want a baby." You whined, stacking toilet paper with Jonah into a large pyramid shape. Though it wasn't the way Cloud 9 policy recommended, you had found it to be far more stable and efficient.
"You what? Why are you telling me this?" Jonah asked, looking up at you from where he was crouched down, reaching into the box of toilet paper and passing them up to you one at a time.
"It's just, Harmonica is so cute. I want a cute, little baby. Not any time soon at least; just seeing Cheyenne with such a precious baby in her arms, made me want one." You explained, carefully placing the toilet rolls Jonah passed to you onto the pyramid, making sure the display didn't topple over as you stacked it high.
"Hmm. Sounds like baby fever." Garrett suggested, suddenly appearing behind you, startling you so that you pushed too hard against the toilet paper pyramid and sending it crashing to the ground. With a deep sigh, you bent down, picking up as many rolls as you could and beginning to rebuild the display.
"It's a real thing." Jonah added, helping you to rebuild the structure so that you could move on sooner rather than later to something else you needed to do within the store. "I read an article about it. Typically, when men and women come into contact with babies the influx of emotions from being around a it can spark their instincts to reproduce."
"When you say it like that J, all science-y, it sounds less appealing." You and Garret let out short laughs, unsurprised by Jonah's all-knowing ability to come in useful on even the most mundane of topics.
"Where'd you even read that? Twitter?" Garrett teased, knowing that Jonah had a tendency to regurgitate everything and anything he read online into one conversation or another. "The times?"
"Actually, discover magazine." Jonah quipped, happy that Garrett hadn't been able to call out the super he had got his information from this time. Stacking the final tier of toilet paper, you took a step back, taking in your hard-worked display in all its glory.
"Well, whatever it is, I'm sure it'll pass." You hummed idly to yourself, adjusting one of the parts of toilet roll, before stepping back and finally being happy with how the display looked. "Anyone want to split a pizza for lunch?"
"I'm down."
————————————————————————
Oh how wrong you were. The 'baby fever' as your boys had dubbed it, didn't pass. In fact, it seemed to grow stronger and stronger with every day that passed.
"I don't get why you want a crying, screaming, pooping baby y/n. Babies are hard work." Amy slouched down into her seat, her eyes fighting to stay open as she blew on her cup of coffee, hoping to cool it slightly.
"Ames." You whined, stirring your sweetener into your morning coffee absentmindedly. "I was hoping you'd understand. Have you never sat there and though 'I really want a baby'?"
"Well, of course!" She cheered, encouraging your dwindling thoughts once more, sparking a whirlwind that consumed your mind. "But then I had them - and as much as I love them, some days, you find it so hard you question if it was all worth it. And it is - It's just hard."
"Very insightful Ames." You chided, taking a long sip of you still-warm drink, looking at Amy across the brim of your mug. "But I'm still not convinced."
"Well, I can't say I tried." Amy laughed, rolling her eyes at your antics - of course once you'd set your mind on something, you'd not back down. You were stubborn yet determined, sometimes to a fault, but it's something she often admired in you; you didn't back down from what you wanted.
————————————————————————
"You think she's still serious about this? The whole baby thing?" Garrett asked, leaning closer to Jonah so he could hear him as they watched you stocking childcare; every bottle and blanket you picked up being handled with the upmost care.
It had been weeks since your conversation with Amy and months since Harmonica had been born, and the 'baby fever' you had claimed would pass, seemed more prevalent then ever. Jonah had since deemed that you were serious about having a baby - whether you had come to terms with it or not yourself - but Garrett wasn't quite convinced.
"I'm telling you, if she's not pregnant yet, she will be. She's not stopped fawning over babies and everything about them since Harmonica was born." Jonah explained, though Garrett just scoffed at the thought, he couldn't imagine you still being hung up on something so small. Not for this long anyway. "Look watch this. Hey y/n!"
Jonah walked over to you, picking up a pale yellow pair of soft, cotton dungarees - covered in tiny embroidered daisies and with white, heart shaped buttons. "Isn't this the cutest thing you've ever seen?"
"It's beautiful J." You replied, reaching out to feel the material of the tiny outfit between your fingertips. "Soft too."
"It would look so cute on a little one. One with your eyes as well; it would really make them pop." Jonah complimented, his eyes flickering between you and Garrett - as though to tell him that he was right.
"You really think so?" you fawned over Jonah's words, gently pulling the material from his hands and running your fingers along the stitching. After realising that you'd spent just a moment too long looking at the clothes, you shoved it back onto the rack, becoming slightly flustered. "I've got to go."
Leaving Jonah and Garrett behind to finish what you should've stocked, you rushed off into the store, slightly embarrassed by your infatuation with the outfit and how clearly you'd shown that to Jonah and Garrett.
You would get over your 'baby fever' you were sure of it.
————————————————————————
"This feels like an interrogation." You muttered, sipping on the milkshake Jonah had bought for you at you and Garrett's insistence.
"Pretty much is." Garrett confirmed, taking a bite into his grilled cheese that he had bought from the stores deli, against the idea of using his lunch break to ask you about your 'baby fever.'
"Well, we just want you to know that we love you and want what's best for you." Jonah began, your face palling slightly at the seriousness of his words; had something happened? Did they know something you didn't? Of all the things running through your mind, you hadn't thought of what they'd decided was important enough to bring up. "And if that's you wanting a baby, we'll be their to support it."
"He will. I said nothing about supporting a baby." At Jonah's sharp look, Garrett held up his hands defensively. "I'm joking, I will support you doll."
"Just not financially."
"What he means," Jonah continued harshly, unamused by Garrett's usually charming, comedic tone - though you and Garrett stifled quite giggles at his words. "Is that no matter what you decide, we will support that. If the 'baby fever' passes or if it doesn't. We'll be there."
It was sweet - the sentiment of it and all - but even you weren't clear on if you wanted a baby or not. Sure, you thought they were cute and whenever you saw one, you wished you had one to call your own, but, there was so much more to having a baby then just that.
"Thank you." You replied, though it sounded more of a question then a genuine thanks: Garret sending Jonah an 'I knew I was right' look at the uncertainty in your words.
Silence settled among the three of you, no one knowing where to begin at the odd tension that had formed after Jonah's very serious declaration of support.
"This is a good milkshake." You mused, swirling the pink liquid around with your straw that was beginning to become soggy at how long it had remained in the drink. "Thanks J."
It was more then just a thanks for the milkshake though, and deep down you both knew it.
————————————————————————
When the two pink lines glared back at you, the colour was far too vibrant then it should've been.
You hadn't been expecting that.
Having downed three cartons of 'Sunny D,' and having peed on 4 pregnancy tests, you knew this was one doodle that couldn't be undone - no matter how much you shook the plastic stick, the lines never faded or went away.
Though you didn't feel sad, or scared, you felt rather happy at the discovery. Perhaps your 'baby fever' would never fade away; but you were beginning to think you were actually okay with that.
And three months later, a small bump beginning to form, you were certain you couldn't hide it any longer.
Looking into the mirror, a ghost of a smile settled on your face - one that had permanently seemed to remain there since your discovery, and one that made you glow with radiance wherever you went. Your hand rested on the bump lovingly, admiring how different and yet the same you looked with it. You could get used to this.
Finally feeling as though you were far enough along to start sharing your secret, you decided today would be the day you'd tell Jonah and Garrett - knowing, as they'd previously made it clear, you would have their unconditional support.
You couldn't wait to tell them.
————————————————————————
"So." You began, shifting about in your seat, your usual coffee switched out for its decaf version instead, you prepared yourself to share the news. "I've got something to tell you. Or rather, show you."
"Is it another one of those cat memes? 'Cause I don't think I can take another." Garrett groaned, Jonah rolling his eyes and declaring he liked them and wanted more if it were possible.
"No, no. It's a big bigger then cat memes. In fact it's probably as big as a plum." Pulling out the small, black and white photo from your pocket, you unfolded it, sliding it across the table in front of the two boys. Your two boys.
Without words, Jonah stood from his seat, walking around the table and pulling you up into his embrace and rocking the two of you from side to side. "Holy shit y/n! I'm so happy for you!"
Pulling back to look at Jonah, you saw a wide and bright smile consuming his face, much like the one you imagined was on your own face, and his eyes crinkled half-shut. A laugh bubbles from your throat, relishing in the happy moment shared between the three of you: they knew this was what you wanted, and you knew that they'd be there for you no matter what.
"That things inside of you?" Garrett groaned, focused solely on the ultrasound you had placed in front of you.
"Yep." You replied, smile not leaving your face despite Garrett's disgust of babies, not specifically the one inside of you, just all of them. "And in about 6 months, that thing will come out of me."
"Gross." Garrett scoffed, though a smile soon settled on his face. "It's got your nose"

Grr why am I worried about him???
All my online friends are saying I need to reaffirm my boundaries and not let myself fall into bad habits. But damn there's this annoying dysphoria when I think about this whole process and I wish I could have the energy to turn it around and be mad.
But I'm not angry. I'm concerned because he's my friend and I want him to be ok.
I don't understand why I need to be angry and turn off that worry I have for someone who I will always consider my best friend.
My brain can't compute these emotions.
It's easier if I compartmentalize and make a list as follows:
1- I appreciate any friends I have who have taken me to hospital or helped me in a time of need deserve equal in return.
2- I understand that my friends all have mental health issues and such things I cannot do anything other than listen and give moral support for them to seek help.
3- I see now that it is not my responsibility to keep bugging my friends to seek help for themselves. They need to do that for themselves when they are ready.
I'm not sure what else to say.
I'll leave with the promise that I am working on myself. I'm learning to be me.
I'm learning to accept myself.
I am an amazing person.
I can sorta play the guitar, some harmonica from primary school, and I'm learning the violin. (I also want to learn to play bass guitar and eventually the harp).
I can speak German, some Dutch, and French, Gaelic from living in Scotland, a tiny bit of Welsh from when I lived in Wales, and I picked up a little bit of Japanese from anime. Also, I have basic knowledge of asl and bsl from classes, I was working on how to write in kanji/hiragana and in Arabic in the past.
I've studied many things over the past ten years. I'm a highly accomplished student despite my shortcomings and absences.
I really enjoy photography and painting.
I can design video games, phone apps, and flash animations. I can make jewelry from precious metals. I can make clothing from scratch, and I understand how the fashion industry operates, how much of what we wear in our every day life has been informed by history and culture.
I can also wire a plug, fix a leaky sink, and install internet in businesses and homes.
I am also experienced and trained in both the care of children and vulnerable adults.
I have first aid training and I am an eagerly experienced archery instructor. I love it!
And I've studied cyber security of course!
Also I know how Trump expects his drink served from my training in bartending and hospitality - our field trips were amazing - I wanted to be a bartender from that course but I prefer cooking.
I've also worked in kitchens in 3/4 parts of the UK. I just need to go to N. Ireland now.
I've had jobs like retail, call centres, but I enjoy cleaning because it's therapeutic!
And most importantly I am a writer! 💯🔥
I have self published the first trilogy of my 12 part book series set in Scotland. I've also self published the first book of my second trilogy. And it all started with a poetry book I also self published! 💪💜
I wrote mostly by myself at first but over time I have built up my supporters and I have a pretty awesome fanbase! ☺️❣️🥰
My profits are small but I love writing!
I love all my friends and family so much!
I love al my Nakama!

Intertwined 6/6
Tumblr media
Here are the trolls of the Intertwined session! Limeblood is Hecate Audire, Enigmatic and patient. Hemoanon online but with light gray text. She lives in the desert to ensure her safety but also the safety of her possible victims. He has a limeblood power that allows him to hear the innerthoughts of trolls or lusus but he doesnt realise what this power actually is or how to even controll it, causing him to go in a bloodfrenzy, as such he exiled herself to the desert near frog ruins. Enjoys alchemy/chemistry and gardening (they use the bodys of the people they have accidently slain as a sort of act of respect) turning their bit of the desert to a sort of oasis. They play the harmonica.
Tealblood is Phemee Vaktum, Gossiper extraordinaire. She makes gossip and lies and they are good at it. At first it just started as a way to have fun when she was studying law with other tealbloods but evolved into a defense mechanism to shield her from the unjust laws and rules of Alternia. Doesnt help that she has no intrest in law and would rather sing and be in musicals. Her hobbies other than singing she enjoys a bit of fashion and loves watching very cheesy and bad movies in secret. She plays the harp
Purpleblood is Mizaru Iolite, Troll Guinness Record holder of highest Prankster's Gambit ever. While on first sight they might seem like the tipical purpleblood, this one has a diffrent sense of justice to others. They ensure that the lowbloods they are meant to cull are saved, they stage the scene to make it look like they have been killed, even a lot of fake blood, or they direct it to other trolls they deem more deserveing of culling such as indigobloods or violet bloods of course that doesnt mean that their sense of justice is exact right. They love horror, movies or literature. They play the trumpet

Weekly update august 18, 2023
I’m writing this a bit earlier than I usually do because unfortunately the medical condition I mentioned last time is unbearably bad today. It hasn’t been too bad this past week but as of the last hour or so I’ve decided not to get up until tomorrow (save for food, bathing, and bathroom) to avoid worsening it. Luckily I got stuff done this morning before it really started to hit.
TRGA: I’m done with Jon’s animations for shot 1-1, and 33% through Emile’s. I’m planning to continue at the pace I have been, and luckily I got the work I assigned myself on it today done this morning, so I am free to wallow this evening. Assuming I’m better tomorrow I’ll try to get another keyframe done, and keep on pace. No sketchy line effects yet either but I’m not anticipating those being too hard as long as I’m careful where I apply them.
General drawing are going slow because I’ve been trying to push myself on music. I was going to screw with my guitar this evening but it’ll have to get pushed to Sunday evening most likely. I got spitfire labs working, as well as their little bbc orchestra set, and as of yesterday I think I got komolete start fixed. I still do not know how it works entirely, but a majority of the vsts are straightforward enough. I’ve been trying to go through and bookmark the ones that’ll be useful, there are a lot of wavy synth noises that don’t really have much use. Also appear to be missing some general instruments as well, anyone who can point me to a good accordion, harmonica, or zunpet vst, preferably free, please do. I think one of the programs with komplete start works like a guitar amp so I do want to try to relearn guitar enough for chords and rhythms. Shouldn’t take too long as long as I reapply note stickers, since guitar is a C instrument, which I was trained in.
Okay actual drawing stuff should hopefully be coming once I get my energy back as well. This next week should be my last week of work at my summer job (which kinda sucks because as tired as this job makes me I do really like it). I am holding my head high for a nice little internship in the fall, which could either be better or worse for me in terms of energy, and there is a good chance I’ll have more time to put into drawing/writing. Or I could just stuff it all into animation too, but I can animate during lecture as well to save time. Especially since I have an online hybrid course, so I can pause lecture, so I’m not even actually slacking off.
I apologize for rambling so much today my mood has been volatile and so has my medical condition. There even a good chance I change plans and do figure out a way to draw without getting up tonight after all. Maybe. Probably not. I hate my body and I want to die but it’s fine because I plan ahead. Maybe I’ll overdose on Tylenol again, I think I’ve been off it for long enough that it shouldn’t hurt my liver.

so everyone knows facebook marketplace is wild, right? when you hear its name you probably think of random ass garbage people are trying to scalp you on, right? im here to tell you, you have no idea how fucking ludicrous this site gets until you search for harmonicas on it
this is a super anti climactic post for anyone not intimately interested in harmonicas, but im only partially being sarcastic. like harmonicas are getting expensive, ok? one of the leading brands, hohner, just knocked their prices up by like 35% on some of their models. so ive been getting most of my harps used (and cleaning them of course), primarily locally so i save on shipping. but people have no fucking clue how to price harmonicas. the amount of marine bands from 30 years ago listed as "vintage" with an $80+ asking price is ludicrous (context for non-harmonica nerds below, but buying new they're usually about $60 in the us, $70 in canada). harmonicas are, like, THE most disposable instrument in history, and the build quality of hohner instruments from like the mid 70s to the 90s are NOTORIOUSLY BAD. no one was taking care of harmonicas back then, they were so cheap and easily replaceable. so don't try and sell me a worse all-around product for more than i can get a new one for with literally less effort.
on the flip side, however, many people also price them very low...which is good for me and, the way i see it, no skin off their back if they just want to get rid of it. like just look up how much a harmonica costs, there are buying and selling guides online!
sometimes these two extremes collide in hilarious ways though, like once i saw 2 hohner koch harmonicas literally side by side, both the same condition judging by descriptions and photos, one selling for $40, the other for $300. WHAT?! maybe i spend too much time staring at harmonicas but that is really funny to me
context (cw lip violence): the marine band is the most popular model of harmonica. there are actually 3 or 4 different types of marine bands in production today, but when someone says just "marine band" its usually a "marine band 1896", which is like the og harmonica. it features a design mostly unchanged since 1896 (which means we have definitely progressed in harmonica technology lol), with a wooden comb (com. being the middle part that the holes are in) that expands when your spit gets in it which then cuts your lips, and assembled with nails (as opposed to screws) which makes it difficult to disassemble and clean/modify
needless to say im not a fan of marine bands but if you replace the comb with a quality 3rd party one and change the nails out for screws, it's a pretty decent instrument you can often get pretty affordablely

19, 20, 25! 💓
19. the most interesting topic you’ve researched for a fic That’s a tough one, but probably medieval medicine/science. There's a common depiction in modern media of the Middle Ages as this smelly, backwards society devoid of all scientific advancement and knowledge, which of course isn't true, and it's interesting to read about the actual practices of the day, some of which were pretty crazy from a modern perspective, but plenty of which were actually pretty solid.
20. in what year did you publish your first fic? Honestly, I'm not sure. I'm in my 30s and have been publishing fic online since I was a kid. I want to say the very first one I ever actually published was a fic based on an old point and click adventure game series from the 90s called Quest for Glory, but I'm not sure, and I don't know which year it was. I think I was 12? Maybe a little younger or older. So let's say, 'Probably sometime in the late 90s.'
25. besides writing, what are your other hobbies? Reading, of course. I work out a lot. I draw occasionally, though I haven't done that in a while. I go through phases where I learn a bit of a musical instrument. I took piano as a kid and bought a keyboard about fiveish years ago. I also have a violin and a harmonica, although I haven't picked up either of those in a while. I was taking violin lessons for a while but couldn't afford them anymore at the time, so I should go back to that. I took up knitting for a little while. I also love studying languages. I have a lot of interests and am willing to try most any hobby that seems interesting.

CY Leo Is Too Good To Be True: A Good Music Skill, A Good Look, A Good Family, A Good Academic Qualification And A Good Girlfriend: Being The World-renowned Harmonica Artist, What Can Be His Fears Of The Unknown?
In the mystery of music lie the secrets that a talent will spend his whole life to uncover. He likes to feel un-settled and has huge inventories of worries of the unknown. When trials of life, one after another, come to test his faith in art, doubt will be removed one day if he sets his ultimate hope in that he loves—art.
CY Leo (何卓彥) was born in 1994 and has never been tired of harmonica since the age of 6 when he started to learn the tunes from his father who is a well-known harmonica player in Hong Kong. The harmonica, also known as a mouth harp or mouth organ, is a free reed wind instrument in many genres, notably in blues, country and classical music. It was adapted from an old Chinese instrument called Sheng (笙) more than 1000 years ago.
We are only the stars and, of course, jealous of the moon: Leo, already possessing the talent of music, has a good look with the similar charm of Timothée Chalamet. He also has a great height, an impressive academic qualification (occupational therapy), an enviable family background in which both parents are medical professionals and his younger brother is a teacher, and finally a sweet girlfriend and they fly in pairs to wherever he performs.
Leo is a beautiful butterfly that is also a busy bee. He practises harmonica more than 3 hours a day. He makes online video lectures to teach people how to play harmonica. He produces harmonica concerts and CDs. He takes part in activities which promote community support for harmonica. The award given by Hong Kong Arts Development Council in 2020 is just a diamond Koh-i-Noor which glitters among many crown jewels that are already his other international awards. CY Leo is a supper for many female sharks. This is a figurative speech but you can know the degree of his popularity that I am referring to. Leo was not mad at my joke and responded politely, “I am simply a lucky man!”
I asked Leo, “Are you too good to be true? I just attended your concert. Your music is totally stylistic! The audience was respectful of your work.” He faltered, “Currently, things for me are too good to be true. But, fears of the unknown have the power to trouble my heart, over and over again.” I was puzzled and raised the question, “What kind of fear?” He replied seriously, “I am a family man. I love to be as closely as possible with my family. After I get married and have kids, I guess my wife and children cannot fly with me to do worldwide performances. The hotel room empty of them will be the saddest place.”
He continued, “What is at a peak is sure to go down. If I lose my popularity one day and earn substantially less, shall I be able to survive and have enough money to be a breadwinner? Where can I get bacon to bring home?” I asked, “So?” He said, “I think I need to be a music teacher at the same time so that I can add another string to my bow.” I remarked, “Always remember: as a top musician, your focus will determine your success. I am a lawyer and writer. I sometimes do think I am neither here nor there.”
Leo thought about it for a while, “Stable income matters but I shall definitely not treat pop music as my career. I do play pop music from time to time so as to bridge serious music and popular taste. I want to remain a fine art musician. I love harmonica. It is light, easy, handy and affordable. It should be music for everyone especially youngsters. They can talk to the music when they are happy or moody—anywhere, just getting a harmonica out of the pocket. The sound quality of harmonica is close to that of a human voice. When you play harmonica, it seems like someone singing side by side with you! I disagree to the suggestion that harmonica is not a serious music and it is just great for busking only.”

Got me thinking about CDs.
We had a brief exchange in the comments on an earlier post on how streaming is not that good, but there is high res available the rest is CD level or worse. So how good are CDs if they are a benchmark of being not good enough? That leads to the question are there any Audiophile Quality CDs?
I repeat my basic premise that there is no perfect system. There are flaws with every method. It is literally a "pick your poison" situation.
So are there any Audiophile CDs? Cut to the chase yes. Perfect no, of course not. I have one spinning right now it is excellent. Tiny details deep bass incredible ambience.
BACK STORY: Decades ago my system was an OP-Amp preamp, a very good Sony 2251 Turntable with a Shure V15 III, a pair of modified Dynaco MK III tube amps, and huge full range electrostatic speakers. I built the speakers, so do not ask what model. My CD player was a second generation Philips consumer model. Nothing to brag about there.
Even then I read reviews and stuff, but online was in the distant future. Real paper magazines. There was a review of an interconnect cable between a high end CD unit (don't recall which type) and his preamp. It came down to this one cable and only this one allowed the reviewer to hear this specific tiny obscure detail on this particular CD.
This was a key moment in my High End Audio education. Cuz I could hear that sound. I had that CD. If that sound was a benchmark in a high end system did that mean I had a high end system? And my CD player and preamp together cost less than this interconnect. I have no doubt he heard what he heard, as I could hear what I could hear. So it was not the wire was it?
That CD was Cowboy Junkies from Ontario Canada "Trinity Sessions" recorded in Toronto in a Church space copyright 1988.
Tumblr media
I am listening to it now and it has everything an honest audiophile needs. Tiny details, great bass, natural sound recorded in the most straightforward way. It has a deserved reputation and is celebrated as a good one. It is so good they issued 180 gram LPs of it decades later.
If you are familiar with the CD or the LP you have heard "the sound" if your system is worthy. It is way back in the soundstage on the first cut. Like I said if you have the recording you know what it is.
Of course the recording is not just that actually silly detail. The band was set up around an ambisonic 3d microphone (one mike!) on risers in the church. Much of the Bass is the really deep resonance of the musicians tapping their feet on the risers. The Drum is actually a higher pitch. It is a sonic candy store. There is no studio magic, the space is real. If there are digital artifacts I simply do not care.
One of my favourite test cuts is number 11) Post Card Blues. The voice incredible. The Harmonica backing is epic. The Bass is crazy deep without the drums. I honestly find myself swapping my attention between the simple sounds and the songs themselves.
One classic track is number 10) Sweet Jane. Lou Reed is on record as this being the best cover of his song ever. Talk about a document. It's playing right now. Great high hat in the drum kit.
OH yes I bought the LPs and love to play them. The sound is wonderful there too. The master is digital on to video tape as there were no computers fast enough back then. So if you got digital artifacts well there is no cure. Pure not analog.
I have other CDs this good. They all depend on the recording engineer and mastering to be correct.
My Player is not top tier, but I still get this stuff out. What does that actually mean then. Hmmmm.
Yes I prefer vinyl, I respect good recordings. Is the LP version better, errr yes to my ear. It is preference like a favourite flavour of ice cream. Either is worthy.

Jamie Dornan And Caitríona Balfe Confess Their Strangest Fan Encounters To Each Other
The ‘Belfast’ co-stars played a game of Knowing Me, Knowing You with ELLE UK
Hollywood’s biggest stars are used to meeting fans, taking selfies and signing autographs while in public. But the dentist’s chair is probably the last place Belfast star Caitríona Balfe thought she'd meet an admirer.
The Outlander actor and her Belfast co-star Jamie Dornan recently sat down to play a game of Knowing Me, Knowing You with ELLE UK testing their knowledge of the cast of the Oscar-nominated film, and confessed their most bizarre fan encounters to each other.
‘I was getting put under for a dental procedure and the anaesthesiologist was a massive, massive Outlander fan. She came with a cup, and then started to sing the theme tune to me as I was going under. So that was definitely a strange experience,’ Balfe said.
‘That's terrifying!’ replied Dornan, who asked if the anaesthesiologist took photographs of her, with her mug, while she was going under sedation. ‘Probably,’ joked Balfe.

Dornan also recalled moments when he's bumped into his fans who have a fortune to follow him around the world.
'I've had very committed fans who seemingly pay a lot of money to travel around the world to see where I've ended up,' he shared. 'And I'm like "wow, you're here in New Orleans". "Wow, you're here in Berlin... you're everywhere. Not in a freaky way, just in a very supportive way and I appreciate it.'
Elsewhere in the game the pair guessed who had previously been a runway mode for Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana and Victoria’s Secret (Balfe), who'd rapped with Lethal Bizzle (Judi Dench) and who once starred in Hollyoaks (Gerard McCarthy).
Balfe also correctly guessed that it was Dornan who used to live with Eddie Redmayne early on in the pair’s careers, while they were trying to find their break in Hollywood.

Over the years Dornan and the Oscar winner have spoken about the British pack of young actors living in Los Angeles at the time, which included Andrew Garfield and Robert Pattinson.
Recalling practising lines with Garfield, Dornan told us: ‘I brought this up to Garfield recently and he doesn't remember it this way, but I always thought when you were making self tapes with Andrew and he would be reading with you, he'd often purposely give you very little back to try to get more of a performance out of you.
‘Maybe he just did that with me… I feel like the more I gave, the less he gave back but I understand he was probably trying to help me. But he denies it.’

As for how Balfe and Dornan passed the time in lockdown, Balfe flexed her drawing skills while Dornan recently remembered that he’d signed up to an online harmonica class.
‘I think I did like half a lesson,’ he laughed. ‘And then I hadn't told my wife about it, and I mentioned it to her weirdly this week. I said, “Jesus, I just remembered. I signed up for an online harmonic course.” And she said, “No, you didn't.” I said, “I did!” And I looked it up, and the saddest thing was, I signed up for it on my birthday in 2020.

“What kind of CPR?” - Tommy (read into this however you will-)

Oh! What about 7 and 39 for the ask game?
thanks for your message!
7. Are they a naturally assertive person or are they painfully shy?
chengyi/changjie: C is 100% not an assertive person. they prefer to sit back and let everyone work out their issues, which means a lot of the time they let others walk over their feelings.
noel/noelle: i'd say N is a mix of both? they're not the most assertive, but it's not because they're shy - it's because they don't want to cause more drama than necessary. they will definitely stand up for themselves or others in certain situations, though.
yuri/yaryna: being the leader of a criminal gang, Y has no option other than being assertive. that said, they don't have a problem standing up for themselves and commanding respect. it comes naturally to them.
vinesh/varsha: V is extremely assertive. they have no problem telling people how they feel and you will definitely know if they're not happy about something. the only time they avoid talking about their feelings is when they're ~ in love ~ ;)
lian/leilani: L strongly despises bossing people around or making people upset by stating their own opinion, but a lot of the time it's unavoidable in the job that they do. so, it's not that they like being assertive, it's often that it's the only option for them.
39. What's your character's guilty pleasure?
chengyi/changjie: C keeps a diary filled with ratings from every restaurant they've ever been to where they've had a seafood dish. because they grew up on a fishing boat and they work at a seafood restaurant, they consider themselves a seafood connoisseur. they rate each restaurant out of five stars and usually write scathing reviews (in the diary, not online).
noel/noelle: N loves to eat food whenever they want. ice cream for breakfast? sure! smoothie for dinner? of course! spaghetti for dessert? they're down! it started out as a small act of rebellion against their parents in their youth but is now a habit that they can't break.
yuri/yaryna: Y has a penchant for music - except, they don't play a cool instrument like the guitar or drums. they play the harmonica. and it drives the rest of their gang mad when it's the middle of the night and all they can hear is the screech of Y's harmonica LOL
vinesh/varsha: curling up with a warm cup of coffee and busting out a murder mystery novel is V's favourite thing to do after a long day at university. sometimes, they swap the murder mystery for romance if they're feeling daring.
lian/leilani: don't tell anyone but L is a bit of a thief! they can't help but steal little items from people and, after placing the items in weird spots, wait to see how long it takes someone to realise it's missing/been moved. they're a creator of chaos and confusion.
