As you sorted the various papers around his office, you couldn't help but beam with joy. It had taken him a long time to get back here, but Oswald had pulled himself up and regained his spot on the throne of Gotham's criminal underworld.

"Not many men get knocked down so far and manage to come back stronger tha before. An empire, for an emperor penguin. You know, I am so proud of you."

Turning to him, you noticed that he was blushing, and making a poor attempt to try and hide it. And even though you tried to stifle the soft giggle, it came out anyway, which only made him blush more.

"Sorry, Oswald, you just look so cute with your pink cheeks."

He groaned, embarrassed that you had seen him like that.

"It's ok! I apologise... maybe that was a bit too informal for an employee."

Though his cheeks were threatening to turn a shade of deep red, he felt the need to clarify.

"Oh, you're more than that."

Raising an eyebrow, you waited for him to explain, confused about the prospects of that statement.

"I meant a friend. You're a friend..."

"Just a friend?"

The flush on his cheeks spread to his nose and the tips of his ears as he fumbled with his pen.

"Well, I suppose... we could be more than that. I don't know how that might feel though."

You cupped his cheeks, feeling the warmth of his blush on your palms.

"How does this feel, then?"

"That feels nice... it feels right. Your hands are so soft."

Stroking over his skin with your fingers you smiled at him.

"My lips are soft too."

Leaning in, you placed a kiss on his cheek, smiling as you pulled away and noticed his lopsided smile. For all that he was a strong, unflappable leader, he was quick to melt in your hands.

I had a dream that Gotham got like those movies they make for Tv shows. and I got so fucking excited. And the trailer started off with like Edward standing in gcpd wearing his y’know green suit and Barbara standing next to him.. but she’s like blonde?? Again!? Idk. But I think Edward is like a private investigator ?? Or something. And then Barbara tells him that he will never be good enough?? Like wtf is up with that ? Then it cuts to like Oswald talking about Gotham and how it’s in danger or something?????!!! Like various clips play of like what happens in the movie. and I thought it was so cute because everyone was like old and had like gray streaks in their hair but anyways.. then the trailer ends with like ED AND OSWALDS WEDDING!! ?? LIKE OMG MY DREAM WANTED THEM YO GET TO TOGETHER SO BAD but yeah I don’t know what this fuck ass dream was 😭
