Sleeping in Light + Much Ado About Nothing/Sonnet 71
No longer mourn for me when I am dead
Than you shall hear the surly bell
Give warning to the world that I am fled
From this vile world with vilest worms to dwell:
Nay, if you read this line, remember not
The hand that writ it, for I love you so,
That I in your sweet thoughts would be forgot,
If thinking on me then should make you woe.

Imagine what Delenn must have felt after she watched John walk away for the last time.
Her husband just went on a “Sunday drive” and she knows he’s never coming home.
But there’s no officer at the door.
No doctor with a time of death.
No phone call from a relative.
No hard and fast line of demarcation about when she became a widow.
She just knows that at some point within a few days after he left, he died.
That’s…just such a lack of closure to grapple with.

Title: West of the Moon and East of the Sun
Fandom: Babylon 5
Song: "A Good Day (Morning Song)," Priscilla Ahn
Summary: John Sheridan was an optimist to the very end. Based largely around "Sleeping in Light," with the angst that entails. Sheridan/Delenn, but mostly focused on Sheridan.
Note: Given how many similarities B5 bears to LOTR, I felt it only right that I get the title from Return of the King. The full quotation is "A day will come at last when I / Shall take the hidden paths that run / West of the Moon, East of the Sun."
Originally created in 2010. Reuploaded to a new/working streaming site.

Sure, go ahead and start the Lost Tales with Sleeping in Light's theme. *tries not to cry after a mere 7 seconds*

I am a terrible combination of “whatever happens, happens” and “If everything doesn’t go according to plan, I will vaporize”

Like the majority of society I’m obsessed with Nimona
And I rewatched it a million times and one thing always sticks out to me
There are moments when Ambrosius is surrounded by light like a little protective bubble
That keeps him away from the man he loves more than anything
