The return of Scarecrow!

In many ways, it's a back-to-basics issue. It opens with a couple of ordinary carjackers chasing a lady. These scenes where GR takes on non-powered creeps are usually a lot of fun. This is no exception.

After that, there's just one supervillain for GR to deal with. But it's one of the better ones (of those that he's faced before). And their battle delivers.

The best part of the issue, however, is the way it uses Stacy Dolan. She's always been an underused character. But her interactions with the Rider here are great. I would love if they gave her more scenes with GR instead of Dan.

The drug lord Snowblind (created by Howard Mackie and Mark Texeira) along with Captain Hoffman, Renee Fuanaro, and Ms Tofield were introunced in Ghost Rider (Vol 3) 13#, cover date May, 1991. Not only did Snowblind survive his encounter with Ghost Rider (Dan Ketch), but Ketch ended the issue with John Blaze pointing a shotgun at the back of his head. Am I working on a Ghost Rider story that could possibly fit into the MCU? Yes. Will it? No. Will I try to be respectful to people who don’t like the story? Yes. Will I have it posted soon? No. Will it feature a well rounded female main character? Absolutely. Will that character be a minority? Probably not. Will there be minority characters in this story treated with respect and have more character than “the token”? Yes, if I can manage it. Will Johnny Blaze be the main character? no. Will any of the classic ghost riders? No. Will it feature a new Ghost Rider? Yes. Isn’t that a bit Mary Sue-ish? No, because this character was Ghost Rider in classic Marvel continuity. Will it feature healthy relationships between characters based on mutual love and trust? Hell yes! Will I simplify the Ghost Rider’s highly convoluted and serendipitous story elements? Yes. Will I let the characters have a happy ending? Yes, but let’s not put the cart before the horse. This is a story about the Ghost Rider, after all. Will any established MCU characters appear? No. Would I be nice to them if they did? Abso-fucking-lutely not!

The Ghost Rider is stuck with Danny Ketch dead, and weakening Noble Kale going on a road trip to try and resurrect his host but instead of going with Johnny he goes with Stacy.

Main reasons are I think forcing Noble Kale to act like a human while being a six foot slab of flaming leather in a burning motorcycle pretending to be a human could add to his characterization, Stacy needs more screen time/interactions with Kale

Also if Kale never has the chance to heal and gets nourishment from using the penance stare on the sinful he is stuck on a road trip with a cop and getting hungry. Also I love the idea of claustrophobic Kale so sticking him in a car would be fun
