Storms of the Past:

Spider's description with reference pictures

No mask.

Blonde/gold hair.

Dark tan skin.

Light brown eyes.

The top half of his hair is intricately braided away from his face before cascading down his shoulders and back in curls.

The 1st picture is an example of how his hair is braided, the patterning, but my Spider does not have the sides shaved. The braiding continues down the sides like in the 2nd and 3rd pictures. Spider mainly keeps his hair loose but will pull it into a pony tail when needed, or when it's really windy, so it stays out of the way. The large braids connect in the back of his head similar to the 4th picture, but the braids are tightly woven and he has a carved Tulkun tail bead that gets woven into his hair where the braids meet in the back.

On his right shoulder, upper right arm, right pectoral muscle and a little bit of his upper right back Spider has a black tattoo. Exactly like in the one in the reference picture.

Teal dye/paint swirles over Spider's skin similar to the natural patterning of the reef clans instead of the sharp blue stripes of the forest clans.

On his shins and forearms are brown bracers and shin guards. Stiff teal and brown flaps, less than a palm width wide, jut out from the outside edges that mimicked the arms and legs of the Metkayina people.

Spider wears a loincloth (see reference picture) and warrior’s chest piece (just like Tonowari's). They are woven using the same brown and teal as the bracers/shin guards.

Spider wears an arm band just above his left bicep that has small shells as well as teeth on it. Looks like the bottom armband but with the black tooth from the top one.

His necklace is a double twist on a simple braided white cord. See reference picture.

This is the shape of his knife, though it is much smaller than a normal Na'vi knife for obvious reasons. The knife and it's sheath shit on the left side of Spider waist. The handle faces forward so he can easily draw it with his dominant right hand, but it can still be drawn with his left hand if needed.

I don’t think people talk about the messed up relationship between the goddess hylia and her chosen enough. Like, Link takes a LOT of nonsense through his generations, but specifically the fact that Zelda spends all of BOTW desperately looking for her approval and her to speak to her just once, spending all her time devoted to this destiny, while Link (while he is very much dealing with his own stuff, THANKS HYLIA) can just. call her up. she speaks to him no problem all the time. we exchange her objects for hearts and stamina the whole game.

And Link doesn’t even seem surprised! In both games this happens in! Like he had memory loss in BOTW yeah but for it to be so ingrained in him that he doesn’t startle TALKING TO A GODDESS is astounding. Just, thinking about that. If Link could do that and knew the whole time. Wondering why she only spoke to him. Knowing it would break Zelda if she knew, asking hylia why. i love that bagi relentlessly pursues the truth and answers even if that means stumbling into the things that hurt people. like the jolt of pain through your skull when you've got sensitive teeth and eat something cold. she looks at pac having a panic attack and her first thought is to go, my god, someone else who has more answers, who can fill out this story for me. obviously she's not heartless and she understands that shes poking at old wounds. but it's really really nice from a viewers perspective to have a character who digs, on purpose or by accident, and ends up uncovering all of this history and baggage that these characters have spent 7 months trying to bury
