Okay granted, there are definitely a lot of bad ones out there, but you can't deny that most of these shaped the literature standards today even if you say these are all quite average lmaooo

They did Don Quixote, Moby Dick, and The War of the Worlds, so the only logical next step was "Manga Classic Readers Ulysses" by James Joyce. January, 2012.
Out of print.

Ulysses by James Joyce is the most book to ever book. The most novel to ever novel. It literally has everything. Literally everything.

So... my Ulysses edition just arrived and it is ENORMOUS. I was expecting something really thick but the weight impressed me. Still, I don't know when I'm gonna start reading this because I have a loooong list of books that I have bought but haven't read yet. I also kinda cheated because I borrowed My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante at my uni library so I'm trying to be more loyal to my decision.

Quote
Every life is in many days, day after day. We walk through ourselves, meeting robbers, ghosts, giants, old men, young men, wives, widows, brothers-in-love, but always meeting ourselves.
James Joyce, “Ulysses”
