Jacky93Sims' 4t2 Functional VR Headset - Bugfixes and New Features
So I have been playing with the 4t2 Functional VR Headset by @jacky93sims for a while now. While it is an amazing thing to have it at all, I immediately noticed some weird things going on in my game whenever I tried to use it. Initially I just wanted to get rid of these weird things, but this sparked a big makeover of the entire mod's functions, as I felt this object could do so much more with a bit of BHAV magic.
Most importantly, Sims can now use the VR headset autonomously, gain Science enthusiasm (because waaaay too few objects benefit that hobby) and Fitness through it, you are no longer prompted to take a screenshot whenever a Sim puts the headset on or off, and the headset will no longer kill Sims if you leave them unattended.
Note that the download link only includes the main object containing all the code! Please go to the original download page to grab the headset accessory and the child, teen and adult meshes, too.
DOWNLOAD
The complete changelog is under the cut, if you are interested in the other ways I have changed this object up.
NEW FEATURE: All interactions are now autonomous! All Sims can play or work out if they seek Fun, but Playful Sims are more likely to play with it, and Active Sims are more likely to work out on it.
NEW FEATURE: Sims now gain Science hobby enthusiasm when playing or working out, at a default of 120% the normal speed. (Requires FreeTime, but you can use this updated version without FT, too.)
NEW FEATURE: Sims now gain Fitness when working out. By default the rate is about 50% faster than working out on stereos, to justify the hefty price tag.
CHANGE: Slightly more Fun gain while playing (40/hour -> 50/hour). In turn, higher Energy (-5/hour -> -20/hour) and Comfort loss (none -> -20/hour).
CHANGE: Slightly more Energy (-10/hour -> -20/hour), Comfort (-10/hour -> -25/hour) and Hygiene (none -> -25/hour) loss. Removed the weird fixed -2 Comfort loss when putting the headset on. Active Sims now only gain 50% more Body skill when working out with the VR headset; other Sims still retain the base 150% skill rate gain. I feel like VR would close the skill gap a bit, so...
CHANGE: Made all the gain and loss tunable for those that know their way around SimPE and can change BCON resource 0x1000 (for playing) and 0x1002 (for working out).
CHANGE: Looped the "jumping jack" and "jog" workout animations three times, and slowed them down. Looped the "knee-bend", "stretch side" and "stretch toes" animations twice. It all looked quite odd being at normal speed.
CHANGE: Added a dialogue when a Body Skill point is gained.
CHANGE: Clarified that the object requires University through the catalogue, because it uses a SimVac animation. I also adjusted the catalogue values for Fun (N/A -> 10) and Environment (6 -> 8).
CHANGE: Added a German translation.
CHANGE: Removed some unnecessary resources.
CRITICAL BUGFIX: Sims will now stop using the headset if their fun is maxed or their motives are failing (same thresholds as with any other "Fun" object), so they don't play or work out until they drop dead. This is a similar issue to an unmodded Exercise Bike from FT.
BUGFIX: You are no longer prompted to take a picture when a Sim puts on or takes off the headset. Maybe @jacky93sims did this to create a bit of immersion, but I did not like it.
BUGFIX: Motive changes are now cleared after taking the headset off. Previously, Sims would keep gaining Fun and losing Energy and/or Comfort even after stopping to use the headset.
BUGFIX: If a Sim doesn't have enough room to play or work out after already having strapped the headset on, the "in use" flag and overlays will now properly reset.

How to live like yena ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁₊˚⋆ lazy day routine
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is a guide on daily routines inspired by Choi Yena! These routines are ideal to do in a lazy day when your motivation and energy are both low, but you still want to get some things done!
content list (routines):
morning
study
workout
shower and self-care
night
(_ _ ) . . z Z⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚୨ :★: ୧ ∗  ˖࣪ ໒꒱  ˚₊·
Tumblr media
✸ ꒰ morning routine ꒱⋆ ࣪.* ࣪.⋆
Yena starts her days checking her phone, it's important to not do it immediately after waking up, take some time to remember your dreams or drink water until you're fully awake. Checking social media in the morning can change your mood drastically, so always make sure to detox your socials! Unfollow or block people you don't want on your feed + follow inspiring accounts.
Next step is to get ourselves our favorite sugary drink, although it's not healthy to have this amount of sugar every day, giving ourselves a treat, specially when we are feeling off can't be harmful! (just remember to drink water the rest of the day (;° ロ°)!)
Now it's time to play video games! Choose one that gets you out of bed like just dance or some kind of VR game, if you don't feel like moving because you're sick or have period cramps, you can play a phone game like kartrider rush+.
After having fun, it's time to make chores (っ- ‸ - ς) Yena doesn't really like to do them, she even tricks her older brother Sungmin to do them for her! But still, she ends up doing them anyway ૮ ◞ ﻌ ◟ ა some chores you can do is making your bed, clean your room, organize laundry and do the dishes or anything that makes your room clean and functional for the rest of the day.
Time for breakfast! Yena's favorite is inspired by the movie "howl's moving castle", basically it's eggs, bacon, toast and cheese with a cup of tea, if this doesn't seem like your type of breakfast, you can try another recipe based on movies or shows or just one that you've been wanting to try for some time now!
Finally, it's time to get ready! Do your skincare, brush your hair into a comfy hairstyle and only wear comfy clothes. You decide if you want to wear makeup today or not, but if you do, try some new styles or colors to refresh your style, you can even try Yena's makeup looks!
Tumblr media
✸ ꒰ study routine ꒱⋆ ࣪.* ࣪.⋆
When we're feeling tired, the last thing we want to do is to study, but sometimes we don't have other option. If you have no other option than study today, you can do a little revision of the content, organize and delay some tasks to do any other day and do some simple things like easy homework, you can listen to your favorite songs to boost your mood!
After this short study session, you can "reward" yourself and watch some kpop content (Yena is a huge kpop fan!) like variety shows your favs appear in, MV's or live presentations.
Tumblr media
✸ ꒰ workout routine ꒱⋆ ࣪.* ࣪.⋆
Yena is actually not good at doing heavy workouts, usually she does short routines with Sungmin! So what are we're going to do is a do a 5 min workout for our target area (arms, abs, legs, etc.) or a low impact full body workout!
If you actually feel a little more energetic now, you can do a kpop random dance, these are so fun to play especially if you're a multistan! Or you can try and learn some new choreographies from scratch too.
Tumblr media
✸ ꒰ shower + self care routine ꒱⋆ ࣪.* ࣪.⋆
A relaxing bath is always a good idea on a lazy day! First, set the mood with some relaxing music and your favorite scent, then wash your body using a sweet-scented body wash and then use a scrub to soften your skin, for extra soft skin, use a light body lotion after. Only use dry shampoo today, you’re probably too tired to wash and dry it today ʚ(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )ɞ
After refreshing it's a perfect time to take a break from your phone and do some journaling, search for prompts on Pinterest to see why you were feeling down or lazy today and search for a solution, if you're feeling creative, take some stickers, memo pads and cute pens to start scrapbooking! Listen to some music if you find it too boring.
Tumblr media
✸ ꒰ night routine ꒱⋆ ࣪.* ࣪.⋆
Yena starts and ends her days gaming, so get comfy in bed and start playing cute games! Some ideal games to play at night are animal crossing (pocket camp, new horizons, etc.) hello kitty dream café, cooking mama or hello kitty world 2!
Before going to sleep, watch an episode from a kdrama, cartoons or anime! Some recommendations from Yena are saiki k and chainsaw man
don't stay too late tho, you need to sleep well tonight (ᴗ˳ᴗ)💤
Tumblr media
(_ _ ) . . z Z⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚୨ :★: ୧ ∗  ˖࣪ ໒꒱  ˚₊·
ty for reading!!! I really wanted to do this guide cuz yena is my fav soloist, her style is so cute and i don't see much content about her often + I'm really into routines and self care, but they always require to do so much stuff everyday and i can't help but feel tired after doing them, but then i feel guilty if i don't do them, so i wanted to make a toned down version so I can recharge energy while being productive :3
Remember to always take breaks!!!!!
Next part of these series is going to be about a le sserafim member so stay tuned if you're interested 👀
anyways I think that's all

Taste the Victory: How Peloton Can Use Sensory Branding to Fuel Member Engagement
Tumblr media
Have you ever been to an Equinox? How does it make you feel? What do you remember about your experience—do you remember the workout you had or the eucalyptus-scented towels and Kiehl's products in the changing rooms?
The best products I can think of (i.e., Equinox, Apple, Coke, old-growth wines, etc.) are just as much about the sensory experience as they are about the product itself. If I consider great, low-friction products to be table stakes to become a successful company these days, then creating sensory experiences along with those products is how to differentiate the good from the great companies.
Now if you know me then you know that I have had my fair share of sports injuries over the years and that has led me down the path of low-impact, “retiree-style” workouts to stay active. One of my favorite workouts these days is riding on a Peloton. Below I have brainstormed three ideas that Peloton could take to enhance its brand and drive stronger membership growth, engagement, and/or retention.
Post-ride snacks: one of my favorite things about Peloton is the fact that I know that I will be completely gassed at the end of my workout and I know exactly how long my ride will take. If I only have 45min to work out, I know that I can do a 5min warmup ride, 30min HIIT workout, 5min cooldown ride, and be off the bike in exactly 45min. However, I’m always starving when I finish my rides and I don’t always have enough time to make a healthy meal before I need to shower and get on with my day.
What if Peloton partnered with healthy merchants and food delivery apps such as UberEats or Doordash to have healthy snacks or meals delivered right to your door at the end of your workouts. The company could start with a limited number of options to (e.g., smoothies & acai bowls), but this could lay the groundwork for cognitive associations between the workout class and that delicious smoothie that is delivered to your door at the end of the workout. Peloton could even gamify the process by allowing members to earn credits towards their favorite snacks based on rides completed.
2. Workout fan/filter: every time I ride a Peloton I look like I just got out of the swimming pool. One of the challenging things about indoor cycling is that it never gives you the sensory feel of riding outside with the wind in your hair.
Peloton has (essentially) mastered the audio/video elements of workout classes, but the classes are still only three-dimensional. I believe there’s an opportunity to add a fourth dimension to the bikes by adding a Dyson-style fan and air purifier to the bike. This fourth dimension will help cool down riders, give them the sensory experience of riding outdoors, and could even be enhanced with an optional Peloton signature scent. This could be something similar to the eucalyptus-scented towels in Equinox gyms. This scent could be released from the fan after the rides and be a calming fragrance that riders could learn to associate with Peloton.
3. AR Experience: I don’t believe we are there yet, but once AR headsets gain traction Peloton could tap into the immersive experience. Imagine wearing Meta/RayBan glasses and being able to see your friend next to you riding in a Peloton class. I think VR headsets are likely too immersive to wear during a workout class (would likely result in people falling off their bikes or feeling nauseous but AR seems like a much more feasible entry point.
Overall, similar to how sensory-inducing wine labels impacted not just taste but also consumption, a more sensory riding experience on Peloton bikes could create a “halo-effect” to revive the sputtering performance of the company post-pandemic.

SYCORAX ⋅𖥔⋅ UTP, UTP ⋅𖥔⋅ STEALTH
trigger warnings: car accident, depression, sibling death
Playing WarTag is like upgrading from four lines of movement on a D-pad to Fulldive VR: 360-degrees of laser guns and base captures in zero gravity, physics and odds calculated in less time than most would take to itch their nose. There's an optimal play for each scenario, and you're a logical player, striking at an opponent's mind; at their weak points, forcing rival teams into domino chains of losing choices. You innovate on Maneuver Warfare like picking a scab on the back of your hand. At the end of the day, you stick to this one basic principle: that it's not the degree of force but the application of it that keeps one a winner game after game. You and your sibling are a household name among WarTag fans. Your dads, flavor designers at S Corp's "Goop Lab" don't know where the two of you got your jock genes from, and sometimes, you wonder why your sibling couldn't have chosen anything else to do. They trail you like a wad of toilet paper stuck to your shoe: they copy your moves, your style, steal your friends, and worse — they become better at WarTag than you. Back-to-back, they ransack your place in the spotlight. All you can do is suck your teeth and wonder why.
You're driving the two of you back after a public shouting match at a gala when your nights of too-long workouts and endless game theory sessions fueled by shots of HyperEnergy catch up to you. It's just for a second, but you nod off at the wheel, and the next moment, you're on your back, your hovercar flipped over, a sheet of metal jammed through your sibling's throat. That's when the rumors spread: that you were drunk, that you did it on purpose — THAT YOU KILLED THEM. You're kicked from the team. You move back into your dads' house, reeling from PR damage, a pariah with zero prospects for the future. Time bends into itself; becomes circular. You lose months staring up at the ceiling. If only you could go back in time and undo that moment. If only you could close your eyes and this time, this time, wake up from this terrible world.
DYNAMICS
KEPLER  ⋅𖥔⋅ BOTH THE OCEAN AND THE ICEBERG ARE MADE OF THE SAME MATERIAL. THAT THE ICEBERG SEEMS SEPARATE IS ONLY BECAUSE IT IS IN A DIFFERENT FORM.
You stumbled upon their file at your therapist's office when your therapist stepped out for an emergency. A chaos addict, heartless, lacking in empathy. You read about they pulled the emergency release valve and left their father to die, how S Corp covered it up, how they don't seem to give a shit about it. They're worse than you in that they made a choice, but they got to hold onto a public-facing career. You hate them and everything they stand for. How if things had gone differently, you could be them and they could be you.
NAIAD  ⋅𖥔⋅ FICTION, BECAUSE IT IS NOT ABOUT SOMEBODY WHO ACTUALLY LIVED IN THE REAL WORLD, ALWAYS HAS THE POSSIBILITY ABOUT BEING ABOUT ONESELF.
You were lost when you found them, accidentally intercepted one of their messages and found your first post-crash friend. Would you communicate with them if it weren't for your downfall? Probably not, but they sent you story after story, and eventually, you sent them stories back. And then, for a few months, you became so low you lost track of time. It was too late to write back when you came out if it. Still, you wonder about them, about what they look like, the texture of their voice, day after useless day.
ATLAS  ⋅𖥔⋅ WE ARE BUT FEVERED STARS: HERE A LITTLE WHILE, BRIGHT WITH PROMISE, BEFORE WE BURN AWAY.
Other than your parents, they were the person you hurt most. Your friend first and then your sibling's lover, drunk at your doorstep, asking over and over again, why, why, WHY? You never have answers. Not about the accident and not about the things they tell you — about their own guilt, all of the things they could've done better, when they're so fucked up they mistake you for the person they loved. You wish they'd stop coming. Still, you can't find it in your unending pit of loneliness to turn them away.

10 Best Meta Quest 2 Fitness Games to Exercise and Workout 2022
Let's get to the Best Meta Quest 2 Fitness Games to Exercise and Workout in 2022. The great thing about Meta Quest 2, and VR in general, is that almost every game you play requires you to move your arms, hands, and feet. So pretty much ANY game you play in VR will cause you to burn more calories than traditional video games or watching TV. Some Meta fitness games are better than others and not all VR exercise games are created equal. We've reviewed many Quest 2 Exercise Games so you can save time and money and keep up with your fitness goals.
Scoring Criteria For VR Meta Quest 2 Fitness Games
As we reviewed these games we focused on a few key differences between them.  If they had all the parts, they got a higher score, if they were missing some, that game's score was decreased. You can go through the criteria and decide which things are more important for your workout. You might not care about things like multiplayer or amount of songs for example. Of course, whichever games get you up and moving are the best VR Fitness Games for you, so you may have to try a few different types out to see what you like. Does it feel like you are working out or a game? Depending on your level of fitness this may be a stronger point for you or a weaker one. We wrote this article from the countless people we see online saying that they played Beat Saber for the first time and were super surprised to see sweat while playing "a game". If you are looking for the hardest workout, We've included the numbers so you can focus on those games. If you are looking for a fun game that can ALSO get you sweating, we gave it more points in this review. A game and "fun-like" are more likely to make you stick with the workout in our opinion. How many classes or songs or levels are included? Working out to the same 5 songs every day is not going to cut it for most people. The more songs or classes, the higher the ranking we gave. DLC is an option? OK, but the more content that is included in the base game we gave the higher score. If there are no classes or songs, how many levels or skill levels are there to play? Does the game have the ability to have custom songs?
Tumblr media
Can you add custom songs to the game? How hard is it to do so? Although most of these games use royalty-free music that you probably don't know, some are quite catchy! But nothing is going to get your heart pumping like your favorite workout song.  More points for custom songs are allowed. Does the game have Multiplayer or Party mode? Although working out solo is fine and fun, being able to invite your Oculus Quest 2 online friends, (or random strangers) or playing against other people in your household with a back-and-forth "party mode" is a great way to keep motivated in your fitness journey.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Other Game issues, or technical problems There were final points taken away for other issues or problems that may have come up.
Best Top VR Fitness Game for Meta Quest 2 in 2022
Without any more delay... Here is the list of the top Meta Quest 2 exercise games... Synth Riders
Tumblr media
Synth Riders is a part freestyle dance game, and part boxing, rhythm game. It's a techno neon game where you punch or glide balls onto your hands at markers that fly towards you.
Tumblr media
🏋️ Work out Equal to - Tennis - 360 - 480 kcal/hr - 40 squats/hr ✔️ Feels like a Game or a Workout - Game ✔️ Number of Song/Work Outs Included - 52 Songs ✔️ Custom Songs - Yes - 3rd party website, drag and drop to device ✔️ Multiplayer Mode - Yes ✔️ Party Mode - Yes Other Issues - N/A Synthriders. This VR fitness game really has it all. 52 included songs will keep you interested and playing. Multiplayer, Party mode, AND the ability to add custom songs? Well worth it. Full Review here -  https://www.worldofgeekstuff.com/synth-riders-review/ Total Score - 5 points Beat Saber
Tumblr media
Beat Saber is a VR rhythm game where you slash cubes as they float towards you in time to the music. 🏋️ Work out Equal to -  Tennis - 360 - 480 kcal/hr - 12 squats/hr
Tumblr media
✔️ Feels like a Game or a Workout - Game ✔️ Number of Song/Work Outs Included - 36 songs ✔️ Custom Songs - Yes, but has to be illegally modded (Beat saber doesn't allow this and will remind you, you are using a modded version). Difficult for many and multiplayer/ leaderboards won't work anymore. ✔️ Multiplayer Mode - Yes ✔️ Party Mode - Yes Other Issues - N/A Beat Saber is the most popular VR game for a reason. Lots of included songs and fun gameplay. Many feel they need to "get a better workout" from something besides Beat Saber, but it actually ranks pretty high on the calories list, less so on squats. It's too bad it requires modding to play custom songs and that's why on MY list, it's a number 2. Full Review here - https://www.worldofgeekstuff.com/beat-saber-review-number-1-vr-rhythm-game/ Beat Saber Total Score - 5 points Until You Fall
Tumblr media
Until You Fall is a VR sword fighting game that brings together hack and slash and RPG fun.

Until you Fall is different than any other game on this list. It is truly a hack-and-slash, rogue-like video game. You play till you die, but you are physically getting a great workout while doing it. Holding up a sword to block and slash enemies is great. If you don't have motion sickness and are looking for a different way to get a workout that isn't a dancing rhythm game, this is it. Full Review here - https://www.worldofgeekstuff.com/until-you-fall-review/ Until You Fall Total Score - 4.5 points RagnaRock VR Ragnarock VR is a rhythm VR game. It lets you take the head of a Viking ship. Notes float towards you in a Guitar Hero style and when they go over the drums you hit them.

The developers spent a lot of time on the physics of the game and not the User Interface. It can also be hard to get a sweat going when first starting. Stick with it, and it's a great fitness app to add to your mix with a high workout potential. Full Review here - https://www.worldofgeekstuff.com/eleven-table-tennis-review-vr-ping-pong/ Eleven Table Tennis Total Score - 4 points FitXR

Although FitXR pitches "Feels like a game", it sure felt like a fitness workout class to me. The lack of multiplayer and custom songs moves this down on the list for me. I hope these change in the future. Like Oh Shape, if you are looking for a Supernatural replacement... FitXR is a good choice. The VR Revolution - Shaping the Future of Gaming
Tumblr media
Virtual Reality (VR) has transcended its status as just a mere technological novelty and emerged as a game-changer in the gaming industry. With its immersive experiences and boundless potential, VR is currently reshaping the future of gaming. Intelligent Form Tracking and Correction‍
Computer vision techniques like pose estimation allow apps to track exercise form and provide real-time corrections before injury-causing mistakes become habits. For example, the Paofit app uses AI to analyze exercise repetitions in bodyweight workouts and detect suboptimal techniques. Users get tailored cues like “straighten knees” to improve form. Startups like Forsight use sensor fusion and deep learning on thermal video data to accurately track movement patterns across both sides of the body during rehab exercises. Such intelligent form tracking will be critical to prevent injuries as fitness application development becomes virtual personal trainers.
Motivation through Personalized Insights‍
Leveraging data from wearables and external apps via APIs, fitness platforms can gain a holistic context of users’ health metrics, sleep patterns, nutrition, and more.
Image‍ AI can then derive personalized insights to nudge users and keep them motivated. For example, the fitness social network Strava analyzes runners’ training load and race performances to provide customized training recommendations and predict potential race finish times. As privacy concerns are tackled, the combinatorial power of cross-app data will allow fitness platforms to offer hyper-personalized guidance based on the complete understanding of each user's body, lifestyle, and goals.
The Future: Fitness Experiences Powered by 5G, Wearables and AI
Emerging technologies will work together to redefine fitness mobile app development experiences over the next 5-10 years. Here are some exciting possibilities:
Immersive Fitness Realms with Digital Humans‍
5G coupled with AR, VR, and AI, will enable apps to build your own fitness app worlds where users can have interactive workouts and competitions with virtual coaches, friends, or digital twins of real athletes and trainers. Spatial anchors can map digital assets like weights and instructors persistently into physical spaces for hybrid experiences.
Image‍ For example, Holofitness uses AR to project holograms of trainers who can demonstrate moves from any angle and provide corrections in real-time during workouts. Such immersive fitness realms will make exercising at home as engaging as gym experiences.
Fitness Apps Integrated with Smart Gym Equipment  ‍
Wearables and IoT ecosystems will allow fitness app development solutionsto connect with smart gym equipment to create data-driven workout experiences. Apps can auto-adjust equipment like smart treadmills based on changing heart rate or form breakdown. Biometric data can visualize intensity and output on screens to immerse users in the workout. Post-workout data can be integrated within fitness apps to provide feedback on form, training effect, areas of improvement and to optimize future exercise plans leveraging AI. This will blur the barrier between digital fitness experiences and physical gym equipment.
