"As Jewish survivors and descendants of survivors and victims of the Nazi genocide we unequivocally condemn the massacre of Palestinians in Gaza and the ongoing occupation and colonization of historic Palestine. We further condemn the United States for providing Israel with the funding to carry out the attack, and Western states more generally for using their diplomatic muscle to protect Israel from condemnation. Genocide begins with the silence of the world.

"We are alarmed by the extreme, racist dehumanization of Palestinians in Israeli society, which has reached a fever-pitch. In Israel, politicians and pundits in The Times of Israel and The Jerusalem Post have called openly for genocide of Palestinians and right-wing Israelis are adopting Neo-Nazi insignia.

"Furthermore, we are disgusted and outraged by Elie Wiesel’s abuse of our history in these pages to justify the unjustifiable: Israel’s wholesale effort to destroy Gaza and the murder of more than 2,000 Palestinians, including many hundreds of children. Nothing can justify bombing UN shelters, homes, hospitals and universities. Nothing can justify depriving people of electricity and water.

"We must raise our collective voices and use our collective power to bring about an end to all forms of racism, including the ongoing genocide of Palestinian people. We call for an immediate end to the siege against and blockade of Gaza. We call for the full economic, cultural and academic boycott of Israel. “Never again” must mean NEVER AGAIN FOR ANYONE!"

Settler leader pushing Netanyahu to reconstruct Israeli homes in Gaza

A prominent settler from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s party is taking advantage of a moment of national crisis to urge him to restore West Bank-style settlements in the Gaza Strip as a defence belt.

Yossi Dagan, who heads the settler community in the West Bank, stated that the time has come to reverse time back to 2005 and rebuild the settlements in the Gaza Strip. He explained that the settlements would act as heavily guarded outposts to prevent a repeat of attacks like the surprise Hamas assault on October 7.

Dagan is closely associated with right-wing American Christian evangelicals and has been a staunch supporter of former US President Donald Trump. Dagan’s critics believe that building such settlements would undermine rather than protect Israel’s national security.

Netanyahu has traditionally been a strong supporter of settlement expansion in West Bank lands that came under Israeli control after the 1967 Six Day War, but a return to the Gaza Strip would be a step toward dramatic escalation.

US President Joe Biden has warned that West Bank settlers are “pouring gasoline on fire” in the Middle East conflict by launching brutal attacks on Palestinians.

THE IDF IS WITHDRAWING A BIG PORTION OF ITS FORCES FROM GAZA

It has failed to achieve a single one of its goals and thanks to the actions of the Israeli armed forces, Israel is now in court for genocide. Thousands of IDF soldiers have been injured or killed. Their image as the invisible moral army has been thoroughly destroyed

Meanwhile the IDF stationed at the West Bank have failed to stop the Resistance groups operating there. The IDF have repeatedly raided the West Bank, destroying homes and killing civilians, many of them children. The Resistance has spent months pushing them back. There's a belief that there could soon be a Palestinian uprising in the region

A week or so ago, the IDF withdrew 25,000 out of 50,000 soldiers from northern Gaza after failing to dismantle Al Qassam there. In fact, every time rockets are launched from Gaza to the Occupied Territories, they are launched from the north, in order to make sure no settler believes the IDF when they claim victory over northern Gaza

Still, this is a huge victory for the Resistance. Let Henry Kissinger tell it

In the process we lost sight of one of the cardinal maxims of guerrilla war: the guerrilla wins if he does not lose. The conventional army loses if it does not win.

it actually makes me sick to see the NFL, 49ers, and chiefs all make statements supporting Israel and calling palestinians terrorists. YOU'RE SUPPORTING THE TERRORISTS! what israel is doing is GENOCIDE. you're supporting GENOCIDE. who started the war? ISRAEL. who has a huge army? ISRAEL. who has continuously broken ceasefire? ISREAL. who is killing thousands of innocent people a day? ISRAEL. guess who doesn't have an official army and is basically defenseless? PALESTINE.

i wanted to say this again in light of recent events: i highly highly highly encourage anyone who sees this to read Edward W. Said's book After the Last Sky: Palestinian Lives (available on internet archive for free, but i recommend buying it). Said is palestinian, and in the book he talks about his childhood in palestine and the effects of being exiled from his homeland. the book is a true eye opener, and everything that Said says is still relevant today. it also includes photos, which truly emphasize the trauma and horrors the palestinian people have faced.
