I know a lot of people have talked about how impulse is one petty and grudge keeping guy, and yes, you are correct and I love you, Impulse is THE petty and unforgiving but also so naturally kind man of the group
But can we PLEASE talk about Tango
Please please please he is sooooo resentful and revengeful towards anyone who has ever wronged him, even if he masks it with jokes and scarcasm and it's my favorite thing because he is sooo funny when he's mad
Exhibit A: His dynamic with Bdubs was forever changed after Last Life, can you really blame the guy for killing him as soon as he was the boogeyman?
Exhibit B: His whole *motions vaguely* Thing with Martyn, he is his #1 enemy but Martyn is such a menace he barely notices
Exhibit C: DoubleLife warden, need I say more
In conclusion I think he should team up with Cleo and kill more people this season, as a treat:)

Can you write a Darkling x reader fic where reader (who is his wife for thousands of years and he cannot live without) is accidentally hurt by his nichevo'ya. Angsty where Aleksander is really guilty and scared he lost the only person he loves, maybe some comfort from reader as well?
Scars
a/n : I heart angst so much, it’s angst with a happy end cause I heart that ❤️❤️❤️. Reader is a Tidemaker.
Warnings: nichevo’ya attack on reader, blood, Alina hate, guilty Aleks, mentions of reader having an abusive home life
Aleksander Morozova x fem! Reader
Tumblr media
Aleksander stood froze staring at his wife’s blood on his hands. His darling wife, the one who’d stayed by his side through it all. Through all years, hundreds of years surviving together and he’d…. he’d hurt her. He stared at his wife’s form as she slept on there bed. He hadn’t meant to.. he thought they’d leave her alone.
Aleksander stood in his room after a coughing fit. Y/n walked in and gently grabbed his shoulder, in hopes of comforting him when the nichevo’ya appeared. They thought that his sweet wife had cause him pain. They dug its claws into her side.
“No! No! Not her!” He yelled but it was too late. They had thrown her across the room, her blood pouring into the carpets. Aleksander rushed to her, grasping her into his arms.
He cradled her as her eyes weld up with tears. He held her face as he apologized over and over. His dark irises soon flooded with tears as he called for a healer. Fruzsi ran in and gasped at all the blood surrounding the pair.
Healers rushed into the room and Aleksander brought her to there bed. He watched with worry in his eyes, he watched with fear as they healed her. His grisha had never seen such fear in his eyes, not when they were being attack by Alina, not when he was freeing other grisha, never had they seen such fear in his eyes.
The healers worked quickly to heal their Generals wife and the most powerful Tidemaker. Fruzsi watched as the healers finished with uncertain looks at each other. They whispered in her ear, words that made her shudder.
“She’s weak and has lost a lot of blood, she might not make it through the night.” The healer mumbled. Fruzsi shock her head fiercely, Y/n was strong, she’d been her mentor, her friend for years. Unfortunately for them all their General caught their curt and quiet whispers.
No, this would not take his wife- Aleksander would try to reason. His wife was stronger than she gave herself credit for. She’d survived hundreds of years by his side through endless battles. He couldn’t be the cause of his beloveds death, he couldn’t be.
“Not her, never her.” Aleksander mumbled to low for any to hear but himself. And his nichevo’ya. They were to never touch her.
Aleksander sat in his wooden chair staring down at his hands in horror. He swore to never touch her, never hurt her. It was in his vows he’d made hundreds of years ago when they were young. He swore when they married in that tiny ceremony, just them and the minster that he’d never lay a hand on her like her father, her mother.
Now she laid possible dying because he’d failed to control his own nichevo’ya. Y/n had never been fearful of his shadow monsters, they were a part of him so naturally, his sweet Y/n loves them as she loves him. A soft rustling on there bed caused Aleksander to look up, Y/n’s eyes were open, just barely.
“Darling!” He reach to grasp her hand but stopped. His hand was still covered in her blood. Weakly he watched Y/n reach for him, he wiped his hand in his kefta and gently took her hand in his. The bed dipped slightly as he sat next to her frame, Y/n hazily squeezed his hand.
With his free hand he held her face. She nuzzled in the warm he provided her, the safety. Her eyes blinked slightly as she tried to sit up.
“Sasha…?” She muttered softly as he gently pushed her down.
“Don’t, you’re still injured and still weak.” His voice cracked with pain as he spoke. Y/n grasped at his scared face and pull him down with all the might she could muster. Aleksander rest his forehead against hers as he listened to her soft breathing. “Sasha… I’m okay.” Y/n promised, Aleksander scoffed. He could practically see the lie, her lip was tight, her nose ever so scrunched. She was in pain and he knew it.
“No you’re not Y/n. You’re not okay and it’s my fault- I’m so sorry.” Y/n couldn’t remember that last time he used her name. She’d grown so accustomed to the pet names he’d use.
“It okay.. I’m okay.”
“No! No you’re not and it’s all my fault!”
“I will be okay.” Aleksander sighed softly. No matter what he did she wouldn’t care. Deep down he knew she was far too good for him. He was a monster and she… she was the ocean strong and beautiful. Still he feared one day she would realize how much better she deserved.
“Sasha? Lay down with me please.” Y/n mumbled. Aleksander shock his head.
“No absolutely not love, I’m not going to do that right now.” Y/n shot him a glare.
“I meant cuddle you dirty minded old man.” Aleksander laughed gently and kiss her forehead. He slowly laid next to her, not wanted to injure his beloved further. With an annoyed huff Y/n slowly and with a grimace moved onto his body. Aleksander instinctively wrapped his arms gently around her, bringing her closer to him.
“Sasha? Please don’t worry too much. I’ll be okay.” Y/n promised as she drifted to sleep. Aleksander laid awake for much longer as he monitored her.
“I promise, you will be.”

Soft guy
Tumblr media
Summary: Aleksander got a little carried away in the bed, but his soft side makes up for it.
Warnings: mention of blood, very rough sex, he hurts you, aftercare, Soft!Aleks, fluff, a bit of angst, lmk if I missed one
A/N: if you're not comfortable with this kind of content please DO NOT read it! Also it's a bit short, I'm sorry
Minors do not read it. 18+ only
You and your husband; Aleks were having some sexy time. He was so rough with you tonight, rougher than usual. You tried to tell him that he was hurting you, he seem to ignore your pleas.
You tried to push him off you, he pinned your hands above your head with his free hand. When he saw that you were fighting him it seemed to make him want to be even rougher. You were afraid of what he might try to do if you kept going.
You cried out, still fighting with him. You tried to remember your safe word so he might stop.
"S-sh...shadow" you yelled out. He suddenly stopped, letting go of you and backing off as you said the safe word.
"Shadow" he looked at you worriedly, his face showing genuine concern and a bit of guilt now.
"Hey, I'm sorry" he said, coming closer to you. He tried to give you a hug. But when he moved to hug you, you flinched away, shaking, covering your body. He backed away from you, his face immediately showing guilt.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry" he said, "I won't touch you again" he sat down in his chair and put his head in his hands. "I'm so sorry," he said again. He looked like he wanted to cry.
You looked down at the sheets and you saw a puddle of blood. You were bleeding...From down there.
Your eyes grew wide and you tried to stand up but the pain was unbearable.
"Oh my god," the general said when he saw your reaction. "Are you hurt!? Let me come closer to look at you"
He tried to come towards you again, you couldn't tell if he was genuinely concerned about you or if he just wanted to see what he had done to you.
"Please let me help you" he said, trying to sound as sincere as possible. He seemed to care, but you knew he was also worried about what the consequences of his actions might be.
"I...why...why did you?" you tried to choke out. Your husband was always loving and caring, you didn't understand what has gotten into him.
"I don't know" he said honestly, "I just got carried away, I'm sorry. Please let me help you. I promise I'll make it up to you" he seemed genuinely regretful and remorseful, which surprised you a lot. He had always been caring and kind, this was the first time he had ever treated you this way.
You looked at the blood stained sheets and your mind started to race. "I think I'm bleeding" you said softly.
"I know you're bleeding" he said sternly. "I'm not blind. You're bleeding because I..." he trailed off, still trying to make sense of how his actions hurt you.
"Just tell me what I can do to help," he said softly, "I don't know what to say, I'm so sorry"
You could hear his voice break as he spoke to you. You couldn't believe what had happened, but the evidence was in front of both of you.
"Baby..." you voice softened at tried to reach out for his hands. He took your hand, holding it softly.
"Are you sure you want me to touch you?" he asked tentatively, "I'll do whatever you need" he looked down at your bloody sheets, his face showing genuine concern and sadness for you, which you hadn't ever seen before. He wanted to help you and make you feel better.
"It's okay Aleks. I forgive you. Just...please can you bring me a menstrual pad and some panties?" you whispered, gently stroking his cheek.
"Yes of course," he said, his voice still soft. He stood up and went out of the room to do as you asked. He returned with a clean pair of panties and a package of menstrual pads.
"Here you go," he said, handing you the items gently. "Is there anything else I can do for you?" he looked at you and brushed his fingers through your hair, trying to show that he cared. He wanted you to know that he felt sorry for hurting you.
"Can we...cuddle?" you suggested. You wanted him to know you still wanted him and his touch. He took a moment to think about your request, and then stepped closer to you.
"Yes, yes of course," he said softly and took you in his arms. He kissed you gently on the forehead, trying to show how much he loved you. Aleksander held you tightly and didn't seem to want to let go of you for anything in the world. He wanted to make you feel safe and protected.
"I'm sorry I flinched away. Just...you scared me" you mumbled softly. You hugged him close, kissing his neck.
"Shhh," he said as he hugged you. "It's okay, you don't have anything to be sorry for" he held you close, kissing the top of your head.
"I should be the one apologizing. I'm so sorry for hurting you, I never meant to. I'll be more careful next time"
You could tell he meant every word, he was genuinely sorry for hurting you. You realized that this incident had actually affected him as well.
"It's okay...Just please be careful. It really did hurt me" you whispered.
"But you know I love you, right?" you smiled at your husband.
"I love you too" he smiled softly. "I would never hurt you on purpose. It's just that...I got carried away this time. I'll be more careful next time, I promise"
He continued to hold you in his arms and kissed the top of your head again. "I'm worried about you" he said. "Are you sure you okay after what happened?"
"Yeahh just sore. I don't think I could walk" you chuckled softly.
"No, you definitely shouldn't try to walk right now" he said as he held you close to his chest. "Let me take care of you, I'm sorry I hurt you"
As the pain from the incident started to subside, it was replaced by the comfortable feeling of his arms around you. You could feel safe and protected with him, even after what had just happened.
"Hmm I love the soft Aleksander you are now. I fell in love with him" you murmured, closing your eyes.
"Well, I am a soft guy when I want to be," he said with a warm smile. He brushed your hair back and caressed your face as you sat with your eyes closed.
"Can I kiss you?" he asked quietly. You could hear the concern in his voice, he didn't want to do anything that would hurt you. But he also wanted to show how much he loved you.
"Of course my dear husband" you smiled up at him. You felt tiny compare to him even when laying down. Aleksander gently leaned in and kissed you on the lips, a soft and tender kiss that showed how much he still loved you. He held you close in his arms and ran his fingers through your hair, as if to say that everything was okay now.
This was the Aleks you knew and loved, not the man who hurt you before.

Can I request an angst Aleksander Morozova fix where is wife just head there son and it was a really hard birth and all he can remember is her scream and cry while clutching his hand. She’s asleep and the baby wakes up, at first Aleksander is a bit apprehensive to hold him but doesn’t want his wife to wake up. So he hold the baby and when he sees that the baby has Y/n’s eyes he just falls in love. Sorry if this was long. Hopping you have a wonderful day ❤️❤️❤️
Tumblr media
Pairing: Husband!Aleksander Morozova x Wife!Reader
Warnings: There is none, it just a BIG OL' FLUFFY FLUFFY BEAR
When Aleks heard about the baby he was scared but also delighted. He knew exactly what NOT to do, but he didn't know what TO do. And not to mention the state of the world. It was no place to raise a child. But nontheless, he was elated to be starting a family with you, his wife.
Aleksander was by your side when your water broke. He stayed by your side as you were in labor. He watched you cry and scream. Listened as you yelled bloody murder for your child to come into the world. He wiped your tears and swiped the sweat off your forehead. Held your hand as you squeezed it so hard it felt it would fall off from the lack of circulation.
Once the baby was delivered he almost felt disappointment. His wife had been in pain and not only could he not help her but he was part of the cause.
You pass out after the baby was cleaned and fed. You held your daughter in your arms but Aleks was yet to. But the baby starts wailing right after you fell asleep and Aleksander knew he could at least help with this.
He walked over to the cradle and held out his hand. He was trying to muster the nerve to go up and lift the baby. You had already decided a name, Luna. He walked over and created shadows to amuse the child, but she just continued crying.
He picks her up, just like the nurses had. Dealing special attention to her head and trying his best to support her. He looks down at her as she stops crying. He had nothing but a loose tunic on, having abandoned his kefta and other layers while you were in labor. The baby is flush against he exposed chest as he holds her.
He continues to stare down at her before he notices her eyes. She had the same eyes as you, a light grey. He had poured pools upon pools of love into eyes just like those and this time was no different. As soon he saw the familiar eyes on Luna's cherub face, his heart had melted.
You woke up in the morning to see Aleks napping with Luna on his chest. Luna laid there in the silence of the early morning to see your husband. You admired the two, your two favorite beings in the same room as you. You were exhausted but you were happy. You were irrecoverably and irreversibly happy. No one would take this from you, No one at all.

Tumblr media
Hello @gamersansblog !!!
I was pretty shocked when I got this request to write a Russian Male Reader (considering I'm American lol) and especially about a ranch!
But I really did enjoy this one a lot so I hope you enjoy it as well!
And some slight Soap X Male Reader at the end too...
°
°
°
When Soap, had asked Y/n to come down to the base for the tenth time, the man couldn't help but sigh and smile as he made his way down to the base.
As a retired soldier, the 141 didn't mind letting the Russian come down and enter their base, seeing him as another friend.
During the 141's lunch break, they were all making small talk with each other about some random topics Y/n didn't particularly pick up on and instead scrolled through his phone. While conversating, Y/n could help but perk up at the word "ranch" leaving someone's lips before responding himself.
"What about a ranch?" He asked looking up from his phone with a curious look in his eye.
Soap looked up towards him with soft eyes.
"Oh nothing in particular, just saw some horses recently on my way here. Couldn't help but wonder what it be like to ride them," his eyes glowing at the thought as he smiled.
"We bet it 'ould buck him off in 3 seconds," Ghost said from behind him, others chuckling as well.
"Oh 'ush! I bet cha' 'ouldn't last any longer than me!" Soap cried making the other laugh more.
"I don't know, Soap, I think Ghost would at least manage to hang on longer. You'd get throw off instantly," Gaz spoke from the other side of the table while sitting next to Price.
"I don't know Hermano... You just might get bucked off," the Colonel voiced while trying to hold in a laugh that he failed at immensely.
"Come on...don't you believe in me König?" The Scottish man turned to the Austrian with glossy eyes nearly shedding a tear.
"I'm sure you zan do zit," König responded softly.
"See! König thinks I can do it!" The Scottish man cheered as smirked at the others.
"Alright then... if you can do it, where are to gonna test it, Sergeant?" Price spoke.
"Ah...well..." he scratched the back of his head.
"I have a ranch... and last time I checked, you've been begging me to go there," Y/n said.
They all turned to him instantly, eyes wide as if he grew a second head. Soap jumped on him immediately with a small grin painting his lips.
"You own a ranch?!" Gaz yelled in surprise.
"Da, I got cow, dog, cat, and horse too Soap," Y/n reassured him as he watched the grown man bounce in his toes in excitement.
"Y/N YOU GOTTA TAKE ME PLEASE!" The Scottish man said, back to being giddy. The man was on his knees as begged the Russian.
"Now hold on, Y/n just said he owned a ranch, Soap, didn't say you could use it," Price intervened.
"It fine, Kapitan, plus it not too far from base. If you'd like to come, feel free," Y/n said, shrugging in the process.
"REALLY?!" Soap squealed.
"да!" ("Yes!") Y/n replied. "Are you all free tomorrow?"
"Last time I check, ye'" Price responded.
"Good, I will meet with you tomorrow, then we can go to ranch," Y/n grinned.
The next day, the 141 waited at the front of their base for Y/n to arrive. When they caught sight of the Russian's truck, Y/n drove over near them and rolled down his window.
"Follow me, comrades," he replied as he watched the others nod and walk to their cars. Meanwhile, Soap and Ghost rode with him. Gaz and König with Price and Alejandro.
They followed him outside the town, a vast array of green plains taking over the landscape. As if time passed instantly, Y/n would end up turning into his ranch.
It was beautiful honest. They were met with the sight of horses, cows, chickens, sheep, some lambs, and even some dogs and cats wandering around. Hell, even a Buffalo too.
The men stared in awe at the mere beauty of the scene. As Y/n turned to park he got out with Soap and Ghost following in tow before waiting for the others to park. When they got out, they couldn't help but stare.
"Ahem," Y/n coughed, "You like, yes?"
Soap was the first to respond.
"Are ya kidding?! It's amazing here, Y/n," the man exclaimed as his eyes sparkled at the sight.
Y/n let a laugh escape him as he motioned for the others to follow him inside to his home.
There, they saw the kitchen but also other foods stored around the house, each labeled for each product with specific animal feed.
Y/n walked them over to his exhibit that house a very, very, long white snake.
"Comrades, met Stella," he waved a hand to the female ball python before opening the top of the enclosure.
Price and Alejandro stepped back instantly as Y/n took out the 10 foot ball python.
Y/n laughed at their reactions.
"Don't worry, she don't bite. She likes meeting people," Y/n reassured them quickly.
"If you'd like to touch her, stroke her scales slowly please," Y/n advised watching the ball python himself as well.
Soap, Ghost, König and Gaz all moved to touch the snake, running their fingers around the smooth scales softly.
"She's beautiful Y/n," Ghost commented.
"Thank you, Ghost. I take good care of her."
Y/n offered to let the Colonel and Captain touch the reptile but both men refused to leave from their spots and Y/n simply nodded before putting Stella back into her glass enclosure.
"Alright, let us go to the horse now."
Y/n led them to the horse stables outside the house.
There, the were greeted by the equines that resided within.
While Y/n introduced each horse, Soap couldn't take his eyes off one in particular.
Brown with white spots and lovely blue eyes and a beautiful mane that Soap could only imagine running his fingers through.
"Y/n...what's this one's name?" He asked.
"That is Vera, a strong stallion I found a couple week ago. Would you like to ride him?"
Soap turned back to him in awe.
"Can I?"
Y/n nodded before telling the others to wait outside by the gates so he could bring out the horse.
As he walked out Vera into the pin, the men couldn't help but enjoy the sight of Y/n and the horse, how calm they looked together.
Y/n beckoned Soap to come over once he finished putting on the saddle.
"Alright MacTavish, you ready?"
"As I'll ever be..."
Y/n first told him to get up onto the saddle first, laughing a few times as he tried to get up along with Alejandro saying something in Spanish making the others laugh, before making sure the man sat properly and the saddle was strapped to Vera correctly.
While Y/n used one hand to keep Vera in place to not move so much, he grabbed the reins and handed them to Soap.
"Be gentle with the reins, and slowly feel in tune with Vera. Animals feed off our emotions, so do not get nervous, da?"
Soap nodded slowly and looked back down at Vera.
"Go ahead and stroke his neck a little bit to get comfortable," Y/n instructed.
Soap followed and let his hand run along Vera's neck, letting soothing words fall from his lips as he greeted the horse.
Vera leaned in slightly to his touch and MacTavish beamed internally.
Y/n smiled as he noticed the action before turning back to Soap.
"Alright, we will go around the pin, ok?"
Soap nodded slowly.
He let Y/n lead him and Vera around the pin before coming back to a stop.
"Well done Zergeant," König said from the other side of the gate.
"Thanks, König."
"Alright how about this time you guide him?" Y/n suggested and the other let out sounds of approval as well.
"Yeah, MacTavish let's see if you can truly ride a horse!" Ghost said from the gate.
"I'll show ya!" Soap replied back before noticing Vera move at bit when he yelled and immediately apologizing.
"How about I ride alongside you, Soap?"
"Please..." Soap looked him dead in the eye as he pleaded for Y/n to ride with him.
Y/n let a chuckle leave and instructed Soap to get off Vera and stay with him while he went to get his own horse.
Soon enough, Y/n walked out with an all black Mustang he named Alek.
"Meet Alek, my mustang," Y/n said as he rode on top of the horse like it was nothing.
He galloped over to where Soap was before getting off and helping Soap back onto Vera, watching the man struggle a bit to get back up and laughing.
"Y/n!"
"It funny," Y/n grinned at him as he checked the straps again on Vera.
Once Soap was ready, he got onto Alek and showed Soap how to use the reins this time.
"Alright, you ready, comrade?" Yn asked.
Soap sighed and nodded.
"MAKE OR BREAK MACTAVISH!" Ghost yelled.
Soap laughed as he gripped onto Vera's reins and looking at Y/n one last time before moving the stallion around the pin slowly.
Thankfully, Vera was easy to work with as she went around slowly and came back around to Y/n and Alek before letting both join on the second loop.
Soap gleamed as he rode Vera and Y/n smiled at him.
"They look good together, eh?" Gaz whispered to the others.
"Yeah, if only MacTavish would ask him out," Ghost commented as he watched the Sergeant enjoy himself on top of the Stallion.
"Now he really looks like a Los Vaquero," Alejandro spoke from beside with a slight chuckle as well.
König smiled under his hood as he watched the pair enjoy themselves on the horses.
"I knew you zould do zit, Sergeant..." he whispered softly.

____________________________________-
Blurring to the house you felt the hairs on your arms raise when a hand wrapped around your arm sending you into the ground. The wind was knocked out of you, coughing loudly looking around to find Alek hovering over you,
“Okay, before we go in there I need you to try and gather yourself now. We have two huge problems on our hands.” He started,
“Huge? What could be more bigger than the Council-” A body collided with yours sending you deeper into the ground. D hopped off your body dusting off the dirt on her shirt.
“Hey newbie, glad you can join us. Would you be so kind in helping us calm this woman down?” D sarcastically sang out when another body slid next to the three of you. Sofi hopped up growling loudly smacking the decomposed hand that attempted to clean the dirt from her jeans. Catching your eyes, she sent you a bright smile blurring back into the house.
“The hell is going on?” You yelled out when the sound of thunder drummed around you. Cupping your hands onto your ears the sound became louder as you squeezed your eyes shut.
“It’s…Marija! Only you can stop her!” D yelled out mirroring your actions but you being an Ascendent the sound was nothing compared to what they felt. Wobbling onto your feet, you made way into the house. You planted your feet when a gust of wind smacked you in the face. Squinting your eyes, Bora's figure was seen being thrown from up stairs to your feet. You were quick to help her up.
“The fuck is going on?” You asked Bora as she wiped the blood that dripped from her forehead.(You have yet to ask them why they bleed.)
“Marjia is going through a painful time accepting the damn truth.” She growled out, blurring back upstairs. You followed behind her when you heard Raina yelling at Marija.
“You need to calm down before you draw attention to us and the damn Council finds the Ascendent and kills them!” After those words flew out her mouth a loud thud was heard in the room. You bursted through the door to find Raina on the floor unconscious and Bora running to her side checking for any signs of life(?) The loud ringing in your ears went silent and the wind came to a halt when her eyes locked with yours.
“Hey, I’m going to need you to calm down.” You ordered, the girl in front of you could only shake her head as tears brimmed her eyes. Confusion swarmed around you when Marija ran out the balcony window, you turned to face Bora helping up a very weak Raina. “Go.” she shooed you off, you nodded blurring out the window vaulting over the balcony rails landing behind the girl looking up at the sky.
“You don’t understand what I feel right now so I need you to stand back before I kill you.” She whispered, her chest falling and rising faster by the second. If the sky wasn’t dark before it sure was now, you inched forward reaching your arm to grab her shoulder when a lightning bolt struck you both. Feeling the shock run through your body as you fall to your knees you groan at the overwhelming feeling bubbling in your chest. Bora and Raina blurred with the rest of the OB watching the scene in front of them off in the field.
“She’s going to kill them!” Raina yelled out, taking a step forward when Bora held her back. “No.” Bora shook her head, turning Raina to face her. “You are not like them. You’ll be burned to a crisp if you take a few more steps. OB or not.” She warned the girl who could only huff a breath turning back to the two of you in the open. Rein appeared next to the crew fixing his tie.
“What a lovely light show you got going on for the Ascendent!” He cheered out when D patted his back shaking her head. “More like the Newbie is basically a spitting image of Marija’s deceased mate.” Reins eyes widened snapping his head to the OB.
“Oh. I thought I mentioned that.” Rein thought out loud when multiple groans were heard around him. Bora sighed, watching for an opening to stop her. A cry strangled out your mouth when heat started to plant against your skin.
“Marija…I need you to come back to me please. It hurts.” You mumbled out as your head hung. The girl glanced back, noticing your grip loosening from her arm but the shocks kept coming in.
“D, show them.” Bora whispered. Raina sighed, placing a small peck on her lover's shoulder, stepping back. D nodded, locking her eyes on the two of you. Once her eyes turned white so did yours and once Marija’s eyes turned the shocks stopped. Rein took a step forward but Raina and Bora were quick to stop him.
“Let them see.”
“Moja ljubav, did you move my tool box?” your voice rang through the spacious house. Walking down the hallway into the kitchen a small tune was heard. Peeking your head from the corner, your eyes caught the woman humming as she washed the dishes. Your heart skipped a beat when you noticed the smile you fell for centuries ago. Tip-toeing behind the woman, you snaked your arms around her waist placing your chin down on her shoulder.
“You finally came back in, how is the project coming along?” she whispered as you planted a kiss on her neck. Her smile was contagious when all you could do is hum and lean more into her.
“It's coming. I think someone moved my tools so it seems like I can’t work today.” you sang out, rocking you both back and forth. She let out a small scoff, shrugging her shoulders, turning off the faucet, facing you.
“I wonder where those tools went.” you sent her a look catching on to her little game, sighing loudly you placed your forehead against hers smiling softly.
“I think my wife would know ... .hmm” You squint your eyes digging your fingers into her sides pulling a laugh from her as she moved away. You scooped her into your arms carrying her to the couch as you dived into the huge cushion. Giggling was heard around the house when all you could do was smile.
“I love you.” You whispered after a beat of silence. Locking her eyes onto yours she leaned in kissing you softly. “And I love you.” wrapping your arm around her waist you brought her closer deepening the kiss. You pulled away looking at the clock displayed on the wall.
“I need to go meet Alek when the sun sets.” you spoke moving away from her grabbing your shades from the island. She sat up on her elbows, sending you a look. You waved your hand placing on your ring then glancing at the huge window that displayed the ocean.
“Stop overthinking, I thought once we die the anxiety goes away.” She scoffed at your gift, chunking a pillow your way which you swiftly caught. Reading her mind a bit more, a goofy smile smacked across your face.
“I’ll buy the wine if you make- oh now that's what i'm talking about!” You laughed out grabbing your keys. She blurred into your arms pressing her lips into yours.
“Hurry back, Bora needs us at the OBH in the morning.” She whispered against your lips unlocking the door with her free hand as you were too busy trying to sneak in one more kiss. When the door opened you pulled away, placing a kiss onto her forehead.
“I love you Y/n” smiling you walked out but before you closed the door you looked back sending her a smile.
“And I love you Marija. Za Veconst.”
A scream rang through your ears when the horrid images flashed in your mind as the white still clouded your vision. Marija still stood in front of you now with her hand clutched in yours as her eyes glowed.
Your eyes fluttered open, noticing your parents sitting in front of you. The slight shaking around you indicated that you were in your family's limo. Your parents whispered amongst themselves but you could clearly hear what they were talking about.
“It’s a shame that killing me off would save your ass from the council.” You whispered as the veins darkened under your eyes and your fangs poked out your lip. Your mother glanced your way, fear seeping from her pores. You could smell the fear and you couldn't lie…you loved the way they were terrified of you.
“We are not going to kill you.” Your father spoke out closing the privacy screen behind him but the slight turn the car made caused the hairs on your skin to rise. Glancing at the opening in the window a light caught your attention. You blurred out of your seat dashing out the back window tumbling into the woods. A force caused your back to hit the ground when a pair of dark eyes locked with yours.
“The Council would be glad that we saved them a fight.” he spoke, weaving his fingers through your hair dragging you to the road. You struggled against his hold trying to free yourself but with the strength he held it was easy for you just to give in. Tossing you onto the wet road your eyes caught your family talking to a man in a large trench coat.
“I can give you two days to get out of here before I contact the Council on our location.” Your father nodded, sparing you one last glance then walking back to the limo. You called out for them but not one of them stopped. A pair of strong arms wrapped around your torso lifting you onto the back of the truck. Rain began to fall clinging the mud onto your clothes, your tears began to fall along with the droplets that settled onto your varsity jacket. Laughter was heard around when a man leaned forward sending you a sinister smile.
“So much for a dangerous being, she’s crying!” You could hear your brother's cries from when he was dragged out of your home when you were younger. You locked your eyes with the man growling,
“Get me out of these chains and I can show you dangerous.”
His laughter locked in his throat when his hands went to break the chains around your hands and feet. The dark eyes he displayed now seemed hollow when you stood to your feet ignoring the protest from the other two behind you. Glancing back, you caught eyes with the taller man.
“Kill them.”
Hopping off the back of the truck, the cries from the men were heard. Ripping of flesh and breaking of bones echoed around the forest when you walked to the limo but stopped at the man in the trench coat. He stood almost eight feet tall but the look in his eyes made him seem small when you whispered,
“You were the one who took my brother from me. I remember you.” You started sending him a smile that made the man whimper once he saw the pool of blood that dripped from the tailgate behind you. Stopping in front of the man, you locked eyes and sent him a look causing him to wail out a bunch of pleas.
“You are going to go back to the Council and tell them I will kill each and every one of them for the death of my brother. Send them a visual reminder as well.” You stopped grabbing a fistful of his shirt bringing his ear to your lips.
“I want you to rip out everything that gives you life.”
Letting go of the man, his eyes were empty. Making his way into the truck, he drove off as you opened the door to the limo taking a seat facing your petrified parents.
“This is what’s going to happen. You are going to take me somewhere safe and you can continue your life. We can forget this ever happened. Okay?” Your parents nod eyes now draining the gold that you once loved into a dark gray of emptiness. Your father whispered to the driver the destination and once the limo started its way, you leaned your head against the window. The gold in your parents eyes were now back and your father handed you a water bottle.
“This will be a good school for you to study more about your ascension. Your mother and I will be on a business trip in Amsterdam but we will come down during your graduation!” He beamed wrapped his arm around your mother. She could only nod, sending you a tight lipped smile.
“You might even find a husband for a mate down here.” She mumbled out, causing your father to nod his head.
“Do not disappoint us Y/n.” Your father spoke when you leaned back looking out the window once again. Your golden eyes flashed the hollow color your parents once had as you closed your eyes letting the gut feeling send you into a deep slumber.
Your hand fell limp when your body collided into the ground. You groaned at the pain now subsiding, Marija dropped to her feet pulling you into her arms.
“Hey, I need you to look at me.” She pleaded, grabbing your jaw to face her, your eyes rolled to the back of your head and your body went numb. Marjias head lifted to lock eyes with Bora, tears beginning to swarm. Raina was the first to blur to your side holding your head in her lap. “Hey Newbie, I need you to wake up.” She spoke tapping your pale cheeks that seemed to hue a darker color by the second. Bora made way next to Marija placing a hand on her shoulder,
“Now you can see they are not your past lover.” Bora whispered in her ear but what shocked the two OB’s was the words Marija whispered,
“No, but they are the answer to ending the Council.” Bora nodded but Marija shook her head, grabbing Bora's wrist. “No Bora you don’t understand…They used the power of a deceased Ascendant.” Raina gasped, snapping her head to you pressing her hand against your chest, waking you instantly. You jumped up, blurring to the house, Alek ran after you as fear filled all over your body. Tripping over the last step you fell on your back sliding into the living room ramming into the back of the couch. Alek stopped holding his hands up slowly inching his way towards you.
“I need you to relax, why don’t we grab you a bag and we get you out those clothes.” you looked down to see most of your shirt was burnt and blood coated your arms. The rest of the OB and Rein appeared in the house when tears began to brim your eyes.
“Why can’t I remember the ride to Nevermore?”  You croaked out standing onto your feet but moving away from everyone. Rein took a step forward clearing his throat,
“You used your brother's gift to forget.” You shook your head running a hand through your hair.
“No. He’s dead. That is not possible.” You protested looking around to find some sort of answer but the look on everyone's face around you showed that they were as shocked as you were. Bora sighed nodding her way to the Med bay which answered your questions. Slouching over you dragged your feet to the room sitting on the chair with your eyes glued to the ceiling. Bora walked in and your eyes widened at the state Marija left her in. Hopping off the chair, you sat her down grabbing a washcloth and the bowl of warm water that sat on the counter.
“I’ll heal, don’t worry about it.” You shook your head, dabbing the damp cloth on the open wound on her shoulder. You both sat in silence as you tended to her injuries while the rain picked up again.
“Must be Marija.” You whispered as your chest tightened when a clash of soft thunder bounced through the house. Bora hummed looking down at her wounds, now healing a lot faster than she thought.
“You’re healing me. Sofis gift.” Bora spoke, running her fingers over the scar that was fading away. You hummed back, shrugging your shoulders,
“I just thought of the stories my parents told my brother and I about the Death Summoner. Not only can she summon the dead but heal the wounded.” Bora scoffed softly looking at the door seeing Raina pass by with D following behind giggling.
“Even though you are not Marija’s mate…you will still feel as if you both are connected in some way.” Bora started catching the slight huff you released dropping the cloth in the bowl.
“I feel…upset that I can’t help her, the pain she feels having to be in the same room is a spitting image of someone she loved for centuries.” You started standing from your seat grabbing the stack of clothes Bora placed on the end of the chair when she walked in, removing your ripped shirt and changing into the new one.
“I saw the last memories of her mate. I could feel the Council ripping their head from their body. The teeth sinking into their neck- Bora I could feel it all.” Bora huffed sending you a sympathetic look as you shook your head hearing the muffled sobs with your enhanced hearing.
You walked to the door, sending Bora one last look then made your way to your room. You hopped on your bed with your eyes trained on the pig tailed girl's balcony with a million thoughts running through your head.
Tumblr media
The night covered the small village just a few hundreds miles away from Nevermore as horrid screams were heard around. The tall man sat in a tent keeping his eyes trained on the entrance with a sinister smile on his face.
“Bring him in.” He boomed. A boy was tossed into the tent with blood running from his nose. The man tilted his head examining the frightened child in front of him, almost like a predator inspecting his meal before feasting.
“Child, what info do you have on the ascendent?” He asked, the boy whimpered looking at the man through his lashes.
“They are no longer staying on Campus. They are staying with a group of people and I think their chosen one is Wednesday.” He whimpered out when snarling was heard from outside. Alucard hummed, taking in the boy's posture.
“So the Ascendant has already found their mate…hmmm very well. I will have my right hand have you back before breakfast.” he spoke, waving his hand as a very slender man walked into the tent grabbing a fist full of the boy's jacket dragging him out the tent. “Thank you Rowan. Your honesty and loyalty will be paid soon. Till we meet in Jericho.” And with that the boy was no longer seen. Alucard growled softly when a man walked into the tent.
“How far are they?” The man in front of him kneeled to his feet extending his hand letting Alucard grasp letting the vision play in his mind. He hummed letting go grabbing his ax that sat next to his seat walking out the tent. Blood was painted everywhere as a fanged smile plastered his face.
“My children!” He roared as all heads turned to the man, “Drink what you can, the Council will be arriving tomorrow night. Please leave a message and let them know…THE Alucard is alive and well..killing.” He spoke nodding his way to the man next to him who lifted his staff that sent the rest of the ferals wild. Alucard started his walk down the village with the man by his side.
“Grim ... .would you please remind my children that when we arrive to remain casual; in the dark. We are not a threat to the Ascendant. We will monitor the Ascendent for a day till we make ourselves visible. No one harms their mate, understand?” Grim nodded at his request. Alucard nodded, making his way down the village with a bloodied smile.
“Matter of fact, get ready…we will go tonight.”

Ever since you ascended, sleep was not your best friend anymore. Screams and cries drummed in your ears when you closed your eyes. Once you ascend, sleep is not a priority but to fight the strongest beings in the world? You need all the sleep you can get. You hummed at the silence when you kept your eyes shut but the front door opening and a whiff of Vanilla scent sent you blurring to the top of the stairs,
“Thank you Principal Weems for accepting our terms, I will be sure that Wednesday gets her classes completed and will be under our supervision.” Bora spoke, sending Weems a small smile. You kept your eyes glued to the girl standing next to the tall woman. You knew that she knew you were watching when her head looked up to meet your eyes.
“You’re gonna burn a hole through the ground if you don’t control your venom.” A voice spoke next to you as you shut your mouth looking over. Raina sent you a teasing smile, you rolled your eyes mirroring her actions.
“How come when I am near her it's like it doesn't happen, but when i feel…” you paused trying to find the right word-
“Excited? Protective? Horn-”
“Alerted.” You cut off Raina’s amusement by sending her a look then looking back down at the girl. “What will happen if I turn her before the Council arrives? I remember my mother telling me stories about needing a certain ceremony to turn your mate.” You mindlessly spoke keeping your eyes on Wednesday when Raina snickered.
“You were young Y/n. I think your mother meant something else other than a ‘ceremony’.” Raina added. Your neutral expression now displaced grimace when you now knew what she meant. “No, I- no.” Raina snickered softly patting your back walking back into her room. Bora pointed at you when both pairs of eyes caught yours, you sent them a small smile blurring next to Bora.
“Thank you Principal Weems.” The lady in front of you nodded, handing the rest of Wednesday's luggage to Alek who appeared out of nowhere. The boy blurred to your room then in a matter of seconds blurred past you all into the living room. “Well, I will make my way back to campus to arrange the lockdown for when the Council arrives.” She spoke looking between you and Wednesday. “If you’ll excuse me.” You send her a nod as Bora walks her out.
“I can not lie, the house is alot bigger than I imagined.” Wednesday started. You chuckled, grabbing her hand guiding her up the stairs to your room. Once you both were settled you sat on the window seal with your eyes glued to Wednesday typing on her laptop.
“If you stare a little harder, you might be able to read my thoughts.” Wednesday mumbled with her eyes still glued to her screen. Your eyes widen, “Was that a joke Wednesday?” You teased and laughed when you caught a small smile on her lips. You stood up casually strolling to the other side of the bed.
“Don’t tempt me, I might.” You spoke that sent a scoff out her mouth sparing you a small glance. For some odd reason the voice in your head wanted to hold her close. The thought of pressing your lips against her neck sent your knees buckling before you. You gripped the shelf but the strength you held knocked the books on top of you. Wednesday rushed to your side placing a hand on the back of your neck that sent your vision spirling. Bad idea. The urge to pin her against the way and sink your teeth into her skin…but not in a blood draining way-
“I uh- I need some fresh air.” You spoke back pedaling away from her. Once you made contact with the door you blurred downstairs and out into the kitchen grabbing a bag of blood from the fridge, you almost slurped the bag with how fast you drank. Letting out a loud sigh ringing throughout the kitchen, you leaned your head against the fridge door clamping your eyes shut. After a few moments of attempting to rid the visions/thoughts in your head, you walked out the back door onto the patio that displayed your view from your room of Nevermore.
“Don’t tell me you already have trouble in Paradise?” You looked over your shoulder to see Alek walking your way and mirroring your actions, leaning against the balcony rail. You scoffed shaking your head,
“More like the opposite.” You sighed running your fingers through your hair. Aleks eyes widened and stifled a laugh. “I guess we are a pack now.” You narrowed your eyes at his response but rolled them when realization dawned on you.
“Don’t worry, it was a direct thought so I heard it.” Blowing out a breath, you hung your head low. “I don’t know why I feel like this all of a sudden, it's only been a few weeks of knowing her.”
“But it feels like years huh,” Alek sighed out taking a seat on the patio chair keeping his eyes on the clear skies. “It will get better, Newbie, don’t worry.” You turned his way leaning your back against the patio rail eyeing him.
“How come you know a lot of this?” You mentioned, motioning your hand to your balcony. He smiled shaking his head, “I had a mate too y’know”
You nodded looking back at the campus, sighing softly. Alek came a bit closer placing a hand on your shoulder,
“I lost her during the Civil War. We came to an agreement that she will stay human. A stray bullet struck her as she was coming in from the bath into our room. Ever since then, I could not bring myself to move on. Same with Bora.” Alek spoke but hearing that Bora lost her mate too was something that turned your insides.
“Bora was the first Original right?” Alek shook his head leaning more onto the rail as you both heard laughter coming from the living room.
“Bora was the mate of the first Original. She was actually the first from the native tribe to turn. Her blood was from the ‘Supernatural Chief’ so when she became one of us she developed a gift and from there I guess the stories on the first OB spree is how it all developed to be OB’s too. Dude it's really complicated to explain but Rein was there.” You nodded looking back once more to see Bora walking to the kitchen. She caught your eyes, sending you a warm smile. Alek patted your back taking a seat onto the lawn chair chuckling,
“Come sit, you look so tense. Plus, the girls got Wednesday. You might not want to go in there right now.” You chuckled at his response, taking a seat next to him as he handed you a blood bag. “Definitely not going in right now.”
Bora came from around the corner of the kitchen handing everyone a blood bag and Wednesday a water bottle. She took a seat onto the couch near Sofi who was playing chess with D who was indeed throwing a whole tantrum.
“This is so not fair Soph. You know I suck at this game.” D muttered out moving her pawn as Sophie giggled, moving her knight knocking off D’s piece from the board. D looked up sending her a glare when a hand was placed on her head patting lightly,
“My love, be a wonderful girlfriend and keep Alek and the Ascendant some company.” Raina whispered. D grumbled hopping onto her feet heading out the back door. Raina sighed, taking a seat next to Wednesday.
“So how are things going with your mate?” Raina asked the girl who only shrugged her shoulders, “I do not know, one minute we are in each other's arms and it feels like home then the next, they’re standing almost a hundred feet away and ignoring me like a plague.” Wednesday explained what caused Bora and Raina to giggle.
“Oh Wednesday,” Bora sighed out, “They are fighting the urge to not turn you.” Raina finished Bora's sentence as they both turned to Sophie who caught their gaze grabbing her headphones walking upstairs.
“When it comes to a Mate who is not one of us comes with a ceremony that we use to change them and have them bonded to us for eternity.” Bora spoke out.
“Ceremony?” Wednesday quivered her eyebrow as Raina giggled once more, shaking her head. Bora sent a small smile towards the girl, “Don’t worry, it is not what you think but it is what you will not expect-”
D slid the door open throwing herself onto the free lawn chair tossing the whiskey bottle towards you which you quickly caught. Alek turned to face D and the look she gave the both of you sent Alek howling in laughter. You looked between them till D’s voice was heard in your head.
“They’re giving Newbies mate here ‘the talk’.”
“The talk?” You spoke aloud, confusion swarming in your iris. D opened her mouth to speak when Wednesday's voice boomed through the house. Your eyes widened when the door swiped open and her face came into view. Her hand wrapped around your wrist dragging you inside. A yelp slipped out your mouth when Alek sent you a small telepathic message.
“Good luck, let's hope your fangs don’t fall off”
You sent the girls a look once you passed them when all they could do is giggle and wave your way. A whimper was heard from you when the girl literally dragged you up the stairs and sat you onto the bed as she towered over you.
“Why did you not mention that if you do not turn me, Marija could end up being your mate?” Your eyes widen at this new information. Shaking your head, you stood up to protest but her hand rammed against your chest sitting you back down.
“No. Sit down.”
You stood quiet with your head hung low, waiting for what she had to say but once her hand gripped your jaw, you could have sworn you lost function in your body.
“For being the most dangerously powerful being on the planet, you seem so weak as of right now.” You looked up to defend yourself but the look in her eyes seemed to answer your question to why she is acting this way. You stood up wrapping your arms around her waist, blurring her to the wall.
“I could be your worst nightmare Wednesday, do not tempt me.” You whispered, your fangs peeked out your lips as your breath mixed with the girl trapped in front of you.
“Nightmares are my favorite part of sleeping.” She whispered back leaning up causing her lip to brush against yours.
“If you are a nightmare…”
Your body buzzed with a new found feeling that made you feel as if you could destroy anything in your way. Rip apart the council to feel what you feel. Break through into the center of the earth to feel the heat you were feeling at the moment throughout your body. You’d steal all the burning gasses in the dark sky but for what cause…the light that could guide you to where you belong is in the eyes staring back into your soul.
“...then make me sleep for eternity.”
You smashed your lips into hers as her hand gripped your jaw bringing you in, deepening the kiss. You were stupid for not kissing her sooner, the energy that coursed through your body caused you to blur the both of you onto the dresser that shattered the mirror behind Wednesday. A small moan slipped the girls mouth that sent you onto cloud 9. Hands were felt underneath your shirt that was discarded in a matter of milliseconds. Another blur and you had her against the door quickly locking the door but your lips never left hers. Her kiss is something you could feel for as long as you roam this earth. Her heartbeat was drumming in your ears that caused your head to turn but with the speed, you ended up on the other side of the room with her on top of you.
“How did you control my speed?” You whispered, attempting to speak with her lips still glued onto yours. She only shook her head leaning back removing her top,
“Shut up and kiss me.”

This new series once again puts into perspective and highlights how different the survivors of the group are, and how, though having different play styles still reach a similar goal
Martyn is a survivor by heart. That does NOT mean he is careful or sensible, he survives not by avoiding damage, but by negating it with lots of food and skill to escape danger once he is low, hence his low heart level by the end of the session
Cleo and Scott on the other hand, are survivors in the way that they avoid taking unnecessary risks. While Joel and Martyn are very risk vs reward oriented and honestly quite impatient while traveling, which is super useful in other instances! Cleo, for example, basically never sprint jumps, and prefers tedious mining than dangerous caving
I think it's super interesting and I can't wait to see how each player's behavior changes (or not) to accommodate these new rules, for example, maybe the more bold player's won't stop taking damage, but they will complete their tasks a lot faster because of it and manage to get the health back? It's also fun to think of what will happen once the first person goes to red

Pairings: ShieldAgent! Natasha x ShieldAgent! Fem!Reader
Summary: The next part to close call. Y/N finds out something the completely and utter shocks her. How will she deal with this sudden revelation?
Warnings: HEAVY MENTION OF ABUSE. DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE TO THIS TOPIC. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
A/N: not proof read
Parts: 1 // 2 // 3
Why did it have to be this way?
My body refused to move as I continued to process the sight in front of me.
"Y/N! How are you?!" She gasped and embraced me in a hug. I didn't hug back, my brain still set on the man beside her. Natasha noticed me staring at her boyfriend "Oh right, Y/N this is Alek, my boyfriend. Alek, this is Y/N, my partner."
I know who he is.
He had the audacity to extend his hand as if we'd never met before.
"Pleasure meeting you." He gave me the fakest smile and I shook his hand to avoid arousing suspicion. I couldn't help that my body tensed at the feeling of touching him again.
Don't let him scare you anymore.
I finally looked up from the ground into his brown eyes that were filled with pure unadulterated hate. His shaggy auburn hair fell onto one side of his angular face. He'd grown his beard out since I last saw him, it was no longer stubble, it was a full beard. He was not an ugly guy, so I can see why Natasha fell for him. There was an aura about him that was almost charming. Yet, the way he looked at me made me feel so small, so insignificant.
His grip tightened on my hand and the memories came flooding back. That was what he used to do in public when he didn't like something I did or said. It was a warning that he was going to punish me when we got home.
The punishments weren't like children's punishments like time-outs or getting grounded. No. They were sickening. It ranged from becoming his punching bag to doing whatever he wanted, whether that be sexually or physically.
My heart rate started to skyrocket so I jerked my hand out of his grasp.
"I gotta go, I'll see you around." I spluttered and turned around and walked to my room as fast as I could.
I heard Natasha calling after me but I ignored her and continued on my way. My heart was pounding irregularly in my chest and it was getting harder and harder to breathe. It felt like the walls were caving in on me.
"Hey Y/N!" Clint yelled out when I passed the gym "Wanna train with me?"
"Sorry Clint, another time." I breathed shakily, avoiding eye contact.
As I got in the elevator, I started shaking violently and my breaths were audible, coming out uneven and in short bursts. I tried taking deep breath's to regain my composure but nothing was working.
I sprinted out of the elevator as soon as the door opened and got to my room. I rummaged around for my phone, trying to contact the one person that could calm me down right now. Yes, it would be easier to ask JARVIS to call him but the A.I doesn't recognise the number.
I let the tears fall freely as I called my childhood bestfriend, Felix. He knew everything about me. After all, how could he not? We’ve literally been inseparable since birth.
Curling up into a ball on my bed, clutching the mobile close to my ear.
"Y/N? You're awake?!" He squealed excitedly.
"Felix. He-He's back. Aleksander. He's here." I just about managed to get out, rocking back and forth on the bed. My heart was thudding in my chest, my body was shaking, my feet were tingling.
I have to get away from here.
"Y/N, calm down okay? I need you to follow my breathing. Ready?"
We stayed on the line after Felix calmed me down and he explained, in detail, what he would do to Aleksander if he touched me again. I thanked him for everything and we cracked a few jokes.
Then there was a knock at the door.
"Who is it?" I asked, cautious of who I wanted to let into my room.
"Clint." Clint answered from the other side.
"Felix, I've got to go. I'll talk to you later. Love ya!" I whispered into the phone.
"Love you too. Keep kicking ass for me."
I put the phone down on my bed and opened the door.
"Hey-"
"I know what just happened. I don't know why but I know you had a panic attack so let's go and take your mind off of it." He interrupted me and dragged me out of my room and towards...somewhere?
"Where are we going?" I asked him.
"You'll see. I'm gonna teach you something."
We stopped at the shooting range and I looked at him questioningly and he just smirked and tossed me something that I caught. Taking a closer look I realised what it was.
"A bow? Seriously?" I raised my eyebrow.
"Yup. Gotta be able to use whatever is available to you. Catch" He threw a quiver full of arrows at me and I caught it and put it on.
"Doesn't matter when you're suspended indefinitely from missions." I mumbled, pouting.
"You'll be back on them in no time. Now. Show me what you got." He patted my back gently, knowing that I was injured.
"I have no clue how to use this." I revealed.
"You're smart. You'll figure it out." He chuckled sarcastically.
"Fuck you birdbrain." I mumbled and place an arrow into the bow, aiming it and then pulling the drawstring back before releasing it. The arrow landed right outside the bullseye. I groaned loudly and Clint laughed at my failure before shooting an arrow right in the middle of the target.
"Show off." I scoffed.
"You're too tense. You have to relax." He told me and demonstrated. I observed closely and copied his movements.
"Now try again."
I aimed the arrow again, pulled the string and released it. We both watched intently as the arrow split his one in the middle and I jumped in joy.
"Nice job Robin Hood." He teased me.
He continued to teach me different tricks he learnt over the years of using archery and to our surprise, I picked it up fairly quickly.
The evening soon came and so did the time for dinner. It was Banner's turn to cook so I was interested to see what he made for us, even though I wasn't hungry. I thanked Clint for teaching me and for taking my mind off of my panic attack. Clint and I walked into the dining room together to see all the other agents already seated at the table. I completely avoided Natasha and Alek and sat next to Tony and Steve.
Dinner went by fairly smoothly, I ate some of  my food and got involved in some of the conversation.
"There seems to be someone at the door for you Miss L/N." JARVIS spoke through the speakers.
"Identity them." Tony commanded before I could even think about getting out of my seat.
"Felix Jordan-"
That was all I needed to hear before I was out of my seat and sprinting down the stairs to the front door. I pushed the door open and there he stood, with his signature grin and red jacket. I launched myself at him and tackled him in a hug.
"Maybe running down the stairs wasn't the best option." I groaned, rubbing the bullet wound on my shoulder. He sighed and shook his head and I lead him back upstairs where everyone else was. I wasn't planning on him coming, but now he was here I wanted to set a good impression and maybe Fury would hire him. Since he lost his job when the police station was attacked.
By the time we got back upstairs, the others had finished dinner and went to do their own separate things. Except for Alek and Natasha, because it was the latter's turn to wash the dishes. When Aleksander spotted Felix, his eyes went wide for a second before turning back to Natasha and peppering her with kisses.
I want to rip his head off.
You and me both.
I grabbed Felix and walked towards the workshop where I knew Tony would be. Felix was smart so maybe he could help Tony, I knew Felix couldn't resist helping someone when it came to technology.
"Okay. What was that?" Felix asked, concerned.
"What was what?" I chimed.
"You looked you wanted to kill him-"
"You know what he did to me. Why wouldn't I?" I retorted stoically, running my hands through my hair.
"Yeah, but that was more of a 'put your hands on her again and I'll cut your limbs off' look." He assessed and looked at me for some sort of reaction. I put my head down and stopped walking as we came to the workshop. Opting to stay silent.
"Come on. I can read you like a book." He announced smugly, sporting his signature grin.
"Is it that obvious?" I admitted shyly. He nodded and chuckled in response and I sighed and pushed open the door. I introduced Tony to Felix and made small conversation. Sooner or later my plan worked and Felix offered help to Tony, much to his disgust but Felix wasn't the type to listen to a wrong answer. Tony and Felix worked together closely on Tony's projects and I couldn't help but smile at the interaction.
I stepped back and took a seat on the table nearby and pulled out my phone to see a text from Natasha.
Tumblr media
I rolled my eyes and placed my phone back down on the workbench, only to hear it buzz not even a minute later.
Tumblr media
I started to panic, she wasn't supposed to know that I didn't want to be around him. She'd find out sooner or later, sure, but not right now. I went to delete it before realising she had already seen it and was typing her response.
Tumblr media
I had to think of an excuse now, and fast. All I wanted was for her to be happy and if that was with him then so be it.
Tumblr media
I powered my phone off and placed it down on the table with a little extra force than I anticipated.
Hasn't done anything to me?
Are you fucking kidding me?
Why not just tell her.
How? What if he’s changed?
"Y/N?" Felix called me, snapping me out of my trance.
"I-I'm just going to get some fresh air." I sported a fake smile and walked out of the workshop.
What the fuck was I supposed to do?
I spent about 3 hours on the balcony in complete solitude, alternating between staring out at the view and being in my own head before being snapped back to reality by the ringing of my phone.
“Hello-”
“He hurt you, didn’t he?” A stern voice cut me off.
“Excuse me?” I replied, dumbfounded
“Alek. Did he hurt you, y/n?” She reiterated.
I took a moment to process what she was asking. How did she even find out? Should she even know?
“Yes.”
My voice was small. Fragile. I wasn’t sure she even heard me until the voice on the other side confirmed that she did.
“Alright.”
And with that, she hung up the call.
Alright? What did that mean? Was I not believable enough?
Tons and tons of doubts clouded my mind, meddling my thoughts and leaving me staring at a random tree in the distance.
That is, until a body came into my view that seemed all too familiar.
“Hey.” A voiced sounded, cautious. Her voice.
I turned to meet her emerald eyes. An action that perhaps shouldn’t have been done because as soon as our eyes met, I broke down.
“I’m sorry. I-I didn’t mean to ruin your-”
“Don’t apologise. He’s the asshole that will be apologising.” She asserted, looking at me with so much care and affection.
We stayed in silence for a couple of minutes, just staring at the landscape in front of us while the breeze brushed past. The silence often broken by my sniffles and coughs in a very poor attempt to cover up my sadness.
“Can I hug you?” She asked softly. So softly in fact, I thought it was a different person.
“I just hate seeing you all upset and I-”
“It’s okay, you can” I cut her rambling off with a smile and she wrapped her muscular arms around me and pulled me into her warm body.
I asked why it had to be this way. But to be honest, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I noticed a new detail in I, Strahd that has me screaming.
So I'm doing a critical writing essay on the way that P. N. Elrod uses the first-person perspective in I, Strahd to enhance the narrative, with Strahd himself as, you know, the unreliable narrator of his own life (which just... mmm! It's so good).
And I'm just going back through the book to look for the page number where he says, "That's what I told myself, anyway."
But, I then found this instead:
You would spill my blood, armsman?
HOLD. THE F**K. ON.
armsman???
So I rifle back through the pages, because that is not what he said. That's not the quote. It's Commander. It's "You would spill my blood, Commander?"
And I find it. And I'm right.
OOGH.
Oh, does it hurt.
Strahd is removing himself from Alek in this moment. He's taking him down already in his mind. Trying to make Alek less important, so that it's less of a blow to himself when he kills him, just a moment later.
Commander is a title, and one of respect. It shows that Alek occupies an important position. And even that, I realize now, was a point of distance, because the two of them often do call each other by their given names. When Strahd was in danger of assassination, Alek yelled "Strahd!" multiple times, which is very personal. When they were out on tour, dealing with the local burgomasters, Alek got perhaps a little too excited and Strahd chided him by just quietly saying his name, "Alek."
When he called Alek "Commander", Strahd was hanging over the edge of a cliff to grab his hand, almost ready to die himself if Alek fell. Alek was in danger of death. In that moment, Strahd chose to focus on the fact that he might lose a leader in his ranks, rather than a close personal friend. It was a little bit of distance, so that he could focus on the task in front of him. To keep his head in that unexpected crisis.
When Strahd calls him "armsman", though... Alek is now faceless. He has been stripped of name. He has been stripped of rank. He has been stripped of all personal attachment. Because that is what Strahd needed to do in order to complete the task ahead of him.
Alek has also just stabbed him in the chest, when Strahd inaccurately recalls that moment, and they are both in shock. Given a chance, Alek would never have done this. "Only a drop or two," he had answered, dangling from the cliff, "if it spares the rest, my lord." (Alek follows his lead in this act of distancing. "Didn't have to, my lord," he murmurs this time.) It can't be Alek, so this is just another soldier. This is just another fight. It's just another war.
So, Strahd thinks of him as "armsman" here, to avoid a truly devastating layer of grief.
Neither of us had a choice. That's what I told myself anyway.
The quote I was looking for is on page 137. One page before all that.

An Unexpected Taste of Love: Chapter Four
Pairing: Darkling x Female Reader
Rating: Teen and Up
Summary: You are a servant at the Grand Palace, but when a threat to the Second Army’s General leads to the King assigning him a taster, you are forced into a new role that just may be the starting point for a whole new journey.
Author’s note: I haven’t read the books but there may be a couple of small references to them that I have picked up from other sources (other fics, the grishaverse wiki, etc). Other than that, this fic is solely based on the TV show version of the Darkling.
Warnings: Near death experience, The Darkling is his own warning
———————————————————
< Chapter Three | Masterlist | Chapter Five >
After that night, something changed between you and Aleksander, and it wasn’t just that you could now call him by his first name. It was only a small change, and you doubted anyone else noticed, but for you, it made all the difference.
Your midnight conversations indeed became a regular thing, but the mornings after became later each day, until, eventually, the sun was rising before you were. You also began to take small snacks to him between lunch and dinner when he forgot to eat, even if it was something as simple as berries or cheese. He started to warn you when there were olives in his meal and even lent you a few books from his personal collection.
All these small things led to one big realisation: you had fallen for Aleksander.
You tried to fight it, ignore it – you knew there was no chance for the two of you – but come midnight, you’d arrive at his rooms and talk, and you’d forget the differences between you. You’d forget that he was a highly respected general and you were just a lowly servant.
You’d forget that any bite of his food could kill you.
It was about four weeks after that first night at the Little Palace – the union of the two Grisha you now knew were called Ivan and Fedyor – and Aleksander was having his dinner with the rest of the Grisha in the dining hall. You weren’t quite sure of the occasion, there were no festivities this time, but regardless, it meant that you had an audience and therefore had to be professional. It also meant there would likely be no midnight conversations that night.
You tried not to let yourself be too disappointed; it wasn’t like you weren’t seeing Aleksander at all. So, when his meal was served, you tried to make the best of your short amount of time with him. You were careful to remain professional and not push the boundaries that he let you push when you were alone, but you couldn’t help but smile at him as you tasted his food. The corners of his mouth curled up in return, and you had to mentally stop yourself from smiling wider at the warm feeling it gave you. It was so much different from the first meal you had spent with him.
For instance, this time when you reached for his goblet, Aleksander didn’t stop you. He just patiently waited for you to test the wine.
He didn’t have to wait long, however. You had barely put the goblet down when you noticed a burning sensation in your throat, and it was only a few seconds later that you were grasping at your neck as the burning turned to outright pain. You tried to stand, even as you choked and spluttered, but black spots were clouding your vision. Next thing you knew, you were on the floor, silently willing for the agony to be over. You thought you heard somebody calling your name, but you couldn’t focus on anything other than how your insides felt like they were on fire and how you couldn’t get enough air into your lungs.
Suddenly, a hand grabbed yours, and you looked up to see a dark figure hovering over you. Their face was blurred by your tears, but you knew who it was.
‘Aleks-’
Trying to speak was a mistake, and you cut yourself off with a whimper as the pain flared brighter than ever.
Aleksander started yelling something, but you couldn’t make out the words as you started to fade. Your eyes fluttered closed and you were sure you were about to succumb to whatever poison had been in that goblet, but then two new hands were on you, and the pain started to recede.
You gasped a big breath as your airways cleared, only coughing a little at the sensation. You blinked and stared up at the people gathered around you. Most were standing at a respectable distance, but there were two right at your side: Aleksander and an unfamiliar woman in red. Now that the pain was gone, you could think clearly enough to recognise her kefta’s grey embroidery as that of a Healer.
Well, that explained why you weren’t dead. You still felt like you were going to be sick, though.
You slowly sat up, Aleksander’s hand on your back, helping you. You tried to smile at him in thanks, but you were pretty sure it came out as more of a grimace.
‘Don’t drink the wine,’ you croaked out, rather needlessly.
Aleksander glared up at the table where the poisoned goblet still sat. ‘Fedyor!’ he barked. The Heartrender was by his side in an instant.
‘Yes, moi soverenyi?’
‘Question everyone who had a hand in setting up the tables tonight. Find out who had access to the wine and the goblet.’
Fedyor gave a sharp nod and quickly marched off towards the kitchens, yelling at the servers to follow him. You spared a moment of sympathy for those who were innocent, but then your stomach rolled again and you had to put all your focus onto not throwing up.
‘You don’t look very well,’ said Aleksander. He still hadn’t moved from where he was crouched beside you, though the Healer had now stood.
‘Poison will do that to you,’ you deadpanned. You closed your eyes for a moment, waiting for the latest wave of nausea to pass, before looking up at the Healer. ‘Thank you for healing me. I know it’s not customary.’
Aleksander frowned at that but made no comment.
Neither did the Healer.
‘Can you stand?’ asked Aleksander.
You thought for a moment before nodding and trying to get up. Aleksander took your hand and helped you, for which you were immensely grateful. He didn’t let go once you were standing, and he helped steady you as you swayed. ‘Take her to one of the suites,’ he ordered the Healer. ‘Make sure she gets what she needs to recover properly.’
The Healer immediately stepped forward and took hold of your arm. You reluctantly let go of Aleksander’s hand and let her lead you out of the room. You turned at the last minute to see him arguing with Ivan, who did not look impressed. You couldn’t hear much of what Ivan was saying, but you definitely caught the words “just a servant” coming from his mouth.
You were around the corner and out of earshot before you could hear Aleksander’s reply.
----
The Healer, Sonja, took you to a suite that was easily four times the size of your own room. She gave you a hot drink to settle your stomach and, once satisfied that you weren’t going to throw up all over the furnishings, helped you into the bed and ordered you to rest.
You felt a bit better after your drink, even if you shook the whole time while drinking it, but you took her advice regardless. The mattress in your temporary bed was the softest thing you had ever lain on, and after a few false starts, you soon found yourself drifting into a surprisingly peaceful sleep.
----
When you woke, your room was bathed in moonlight, and you looked over to your clock to check the time. Or rather, you looked over to where your clock should have been. It wasn’t there. Instead, there was an impressive looking sculpture that you were 100% certain you’d never laid eyes on before. You were also sure your bed didn’t have this many blankets.
The events from the previous night caught up to you all at once, and your hand instantly went to your throat, as if expecting to find half of it missing. You remembered the pain all too well, and you wouldn’t have been surprised if the poison had literally burned through your flesh.
Once assured that your throat was intact, you lowered your hand. If the poison had caused any physical damage, it was repaired now - a fact that you were still struggling to make sense of. At the Grand Palace, you had watched more than one taster die a slow and painful death while the Royal Court simply watched on, and you had figured that the same was to be expected at the Little Palace. An assumption that was supported by Ivan’s words.
“Just a servant.”
Before you could dwell on that any further, however, movement near the window caught your eyes, and you sat up to see Alexander staring out at the night sky. He turned when he noticed you were awake.
‘How are you feeling?’ he asked.
‘Better,’ you said, though it came out quite croaky. You tried to clear your throat, but it didn’t seem to do any good.
In seconds, Aleksander was holding a glass of water in front of your face, which you took with a grateful smile. Just like when Sonja had given you your hot drink earlier, you had a moment of hesitation before you drank, but you pushed through the fear and took a small sip. When a few seconds went by without any pain, you drained the whole glass.
Aleksander took the empty glass from you and placed it on the bedside table. ‘Thank you,’ you said, pouring as much gratitude into those two words as possible. ‘Not just for the water, but for last night as well.’ At his confused look, you explained. ‘I’m pretty sure I remember you calling a Healer for me. You saved my life.’
Aleksander sat on the side of your bed, his body slightly angled towards you. ‘It was the least I could do. It was my life you were protecting.’
‘Still, I appreciate it all the same.’
He smiled at you, but it was strained.
‘Is there something wrong?’ you asked. ‘Other than the obvious, of course.’ You chuckled nervously, trying and failing to hide how shaken up you still were.
Aleksander was silent for a moment. ‘What you said to Sonja,’ he said. ‘About it not being customary to heal you.’
‘Oh.’ You looked down, unsure of what he was leading up to but fearing the worst. ‘I hope doing so hasn’t caused you any trouble.’
You felt a finger on your chin, and you let Aleksander guide your head up to face him. Your breath caught at having him so much closer than before. ‘That’s not what’s upsetting me,’ he said, ‘and any trouble I have to deal with is inconsequential. I am just…’ He lowered his hand and sighed. ‘There are so many things in this world that need changing, and I am just realising that I had not considered all of them.’
You gave him a sad smile. ‘No one person can be expected to change everything. You have your own fight to focus on.’
Aleksander did not look reassured by your words. If anything, he looked even more remorseful.
‘There have been many servants who could have benefited from a Healer,’ you continued. You didn’t want to sugar-coat it; he needed to know just how much his actions the previous night had meant. ‘Many could have lived longer. But I’ve never heard of any nobles ever even considering asking for a Healer for their staff. Not one. Until you. Maybe you have just changed this little corner of the world without even realising it.’
The guilt faded from his eyes at that and was replaced with understanding and empathy. ‘You’ve lost someone,’ he said. It wasn’t a question, and really, you weren’t too surprised that he had worked it out.
‘My mother. She fell.’
‘I’m sorry.’
You shook your head. ‘It’s not your fault. And things will get better when we win the war and Grisha are free to help whomever they wish to help. Maybe not better for the servants at the Grand Palace, but better for others at least.’
‘You seem awfully confident that we will win.’
You shrugged, a small smile on your lips. ‘I guess I just have faith in you.’
Aleksander didn’t smile back, he just stared at you with an undecipherable look in his eyes. It wasn’t a bad look, but the intensity of it had you second-guessing yourself. ‘So, uh, did you find out who tried to poison you?’ you asked, seeking a distraction.
For a moment, Aleksander continued to stare at you, but then his back straightened and he was back to being the feared Black General of the Second Army.
‘I did,’ he said. His voice was calm, but you could sense the darkness laying just underneath. You didn’t ask what happened to the perpetrator. You didn’t want to know.
‘Who were they?’ you asked instead.
‘It seems a member of the catering staff was part of a small group who wish West Ravka to separate. They wanted to give Fjerda the advantage in the war so that the people of West Ravka would be convinced to abandon the East.’
You swore under your breath. ‘I didn’t think Zlatan was this drastic.’
Aleksander shook his head. ‘This wasn’t done on his orders. I had Ivan with me when I interrogated the server; he assured me she wasn’t lying when she said the group was small. I’ve already sent a few soldiers to see to the rest.’
‘So, the threat is over?’ you asked. You weren’t sure how you felt about that. On the one hand, it was nice to know you wouldn’t be poisoned again and that Aleksander’s life was no longer in danger… but it also meant you would be sent back to the Grand Palace.
You didn't want to go back.
‘I believe so,’ said Aleksander. He paused, seemingly lost in thought. ‘But more threats may come. I’ll request the King keep you in your position. Just in case.’
You blinked up at him, surprised for a moment, before a smile slowly spread across your face. He didn’t want you to go back either.
‘Better to be safe than sorry,’ you said.
Aleksander’s lips curled into his own smile, and he reached over to take a hold of your hand that was resting on top of the bedcovers. You looked down to watch as he stroked your knuckles with his thumb, trying not to reveal how such a small gesture was affecting you.
When you looked back up, the intense look was back in his eyes.
‘I won’t let you die.’
He said it as if it were a vow, and you felt your heart swell with the love you had been trying to deny since your very first week in the Little Palace. You unconsciously shifted your hand to intertwine your fingers with his.
‘I know you won’t.’

I just saw the prompt "shhhh, you're getting loud" and now I can't decide if it's funner if it's aleksi/olli being dumbasses forgetting that a curtain on a bus is not a wall or door, or aleks/joonas/joel (or any other combination of friends) playing mario kart in a hotel room and emotions rising high over blue shells and banana peels 😂
Both? Both is good. It's Aleksi/Olli, but the others are included in a platonic way. It's short but I tried to keep it funny.
Olli continued to giggle even as Aleksi kissed down his stomach, expecting another reaction from his boyfriend than him fucking giggling at him.
In response Aleksi lightly bit into the soft part of Olli’s belly, finally getting what he wanted - a surprised moan. Smiling he kissed over the spot, glad to have Olli’s attention on him now. But he should’ve known that it wouldn’t stay at one small moan, already after their first time did he find out that Olli wasn’t a particularly silent lover.
While it was a confidence boost every other time, Aleksi was now worried about gaining attraction from the outside.
“Shhh you’re getting loud.” Aleksi urged Olli to be more cautious but continued to slide his hand into Olli’s underwear. Not the right move to shut Olli up.
Startled his hand pulled back from its destination when the curtain to his bunk bed was pulled back with force, so much so that he was afraid for the hooks that omitted a cringing sound.
Tommi’s face appeared in Aleksi’s vision, the light behind him blinding him so that he had to squint.
“We’re on a bus. I can hear you.”
With those few words he disappeared again but left the curtain open, a clear warning to not carry on with their activity. The bulge in Olli’s underwear was inviting, but Aleksi didn’t dare to make Tommi angry by filling the small space with his boyfriend’s sounds as much as he wanted to. But the bear had spoken.
-
A nice warm shower was all Tommi had needed after the concert. While he wasn’t running and jumping around, playing his drums has left him sweaty enough to leave an imprint on Joel’s shirt after a quick congratulation hug.
But now the water was washing it all away, softening his muscles, and keeping him in a good mood. He caught himself almost humming a song as he switched off the water and grabbed for a towel, even big enough so he could wrap himself in it.
The content smile on his face fell away quickly as he noticed noises coming from the hotel room through the closed door. When he left for a shower Aleksi had been alone in the room. But he wouldn’t dare-
“You will feel so dirty after I’m done with you, you will need a cold shower to feel like yourself again.” He unmistakably heard Aleksi’s words, the implication of him saying that to Tommi’s pure childhood friend turning his brain upside down. He didn’t want to hear any of that.
And he couldn’t believe that Aleksi had invited Olli over for a quicky while Tommi was enjoying a hot shower. It was time for a real lecture.
The door was open in no second and Tommi built himself up in the door frame, trying to look as threatening as he could with only a towel around his hips and water dripping from his hair.
“Aleksi!” He yelled. “Keep your hands- ”
Three pairs of eyes looked at him astonished, none of which belonged to Olli. Aleksi, Joel, and Joonas were sitting on one of the beds, each with a controller in a hand and Mario Kart running on the TV. The music kept running while they all stared at each other.
Tommi has clearly been mistaken, and the situation wasn’t as dirty as he had it believed to be.
“Well. Carry on.” He said and turned to get back to the best spa treatment he would get for a while. He really needed a break; he thought as he closed the door.

As The World Goes Dark (Chapter #1)

Chapter 1 of who knows how many-
Character(s): Aleksandra "Sparrow" Artamova (oc), Miguel "Rio" Costa (oc), unknown group (ocs)
Shit. That was the first thing that Sparrow thought when she lost control of her plane. “Sparrow to Rio, I’m going down quickly!” She shouted over the radio as she tried to regain control of the plane. “Дерьмо дерьмо ДЕРЬМО!” She yelled as tried to eject herself from her seat, immediately panicking when the button wouldn’t work and she was falling quickly.
“Rio to Sparrow, how copy?” Her radio crackled to life when Rio spoke from his end. “Sparrow? SPARROW???” He started to panic when she didn’t reply.
“I’M FALLING QUICKLY-” Sparrow shrieked after a moment as she realized that this wasn’t going to end very well for her.
“ALEK?! AMOR?!” Rio yelled but he didn’t get a response as he heard a loud crash. Sparrow’s plane crashed and she didn’t know what to do. She was able to crawl out of the wreck before she made it to a tree, her body slumping against it as held her radio in her shaky hand.
“Rio…? Are you still there..?” She spoke into the radio, only to be met with static. Her hand fell to her side as she looked at the burning wreck that was her plane some feet away from her. She was left by herself in enemy territory. No ability to contact anyone. She slowly stood up and winced and nearly stumbled down back to her knees. “Дерьмо…” She grunted as she used the tree to steady herself, she limped away from the tree and went deeper into the forest. She stepped just right on her injured leg and a searing pain shot up her spine, causing her to drop down to her knees. She tried her best to pull herself up but immediately froze when a heavy boot shoved her back down, face hitting the ground with a grunt.
“Well well well…What do we have here?” A voice rang out from above her, her eyes darted up and she was pushed down harshly once more when she tried to get up again. The person clicked their tongue as a pair of gloved hands gripped her arms roughly, surely there’d be bruises there later.
“Let me go!” She trashed around before she gasped out in pain as her injured leg was forced to stand on her injured leg, her hair was gripped roughly and her head was forced to look at the man who had originally pinned her down. “You son of a—” She was cut off by a loud slapping sound and a harsh burning sensation on her cheek.
“Shut the hell up you bitch!” The man snapped as he glared at her, Sparrow’s face contorted into pain from the slap and the pressure from her leg. “Take her to the cars!” The man snapped, looking at the two masked soldiers who were holding her harshly as he barked the order to them before looking at the raven haired female again, this time with a devious smirk. “We’ve got ourselves a prisoner and some new information.”
Sparrow glared at the man before she was dragged off by the two holding her. She didn’t know how long it would be until she was found, she didn’t even know if she would be found. She limped as she was forced to walk towards one of the many hidden vehicles with blackened out windows. One of her arms was let go by one of the soldiers to open the door before the other grabbed her now free arm before she could move it.
“Oh how gentleman-like,” She said bitingly. “Bet every woman who meets you likes that.” She rolled her eyes as she was shoved into the backseat with a yelp. “Ow— watch it you засранец!” She snapped, moving her injured leg before the door was slammed shut.
“Such a whiny bitch.” One of the soldiers scoffed as they got into the front seat. “Too bad we can’t just kill her right here and now. I don’t see what’s so special about her.”
“She’s got information you dickwad.”
“Who the fuck are you calling a dickwad you fuck face?!”
“Why you—”
“You both argue like an old married couple.” Sparrow interrupted them as she looked at them blankly. “I take back what I said, I can tell neither of you gets any and it shows.” She was just pissing them off in hopes that she could get away or some sort of opening.
“Shut up or we’ll tape your mouth shut.” One of them snapped as they looked back at her, the other started driving.
“First of all kinky. Second of all, not my thing man but you do you.” Her plan was to annoy the hell out of them so she could get away. “Third of all, you’re not my type and I’ve already got a boyfriend.” She grinned when she saw how annoyed the two looked.
“Get the tape, I can’t stand to hear her blabbering on. Hell I may even tape your mouth too.” The other glared at the soldier in the passenger’s seat. Sparrow glared at them after that comment as she managed to get herself up enough to sit up. “Hurry up ya slowpoke!” He snapped.
The other soldier rolled his eyes before grabbing the tape roll from the glove compartment and tore a piece off, turning around to put the piece of tape over Sparrow’s mouth, Sparrow glared and bit down hard on his hand. “Ow! You fucking bitch!” She got slapped again and let go of his hand and the piece of tape was slapped over her mouth.
“That’s gonna leave a mark,” Said the one driving. “Might wanna get that checked out, she may have a disease.” He sneered as he looked back at her through the mirror. Sparrow was glaring at them as she sat in the backseat, pissed off as she wasn’t able to find a way out of the car. She instead used her good leg to kick the back of the seats. “I thought she was a soldier and not a child.” They scoffed.
“Apparently not— Fuckin’ STOP!” The soldier turned around to look at her which earned another harsh kick or two. “You’re an ass.” He growled. “Not stop before I break that leg too.” Sparrow stopped for a moment before doing it again. She did this the whole ride to the base and ended up with another injured leg, not broken but definitely was some bruising.
TRANSLATIONS:
Дерьмо дерьмо ДЕРЬМО!/Дерьмо… - Shit shit SHIT!/ Shit...
