Yo!! I've never done one before, but I'm hoping to make a deep dive video on every single game Ganz has ever made. Some, like Webkinz and Amazing World, are well known! Others are almost lost media. This video will be lengthy, I'm guessing at least an hour or two. Therefore: it's a big project, and I need some help. I need help with research, writing, script editing, and possibly video editing. I cannot pay anyone monetarily, but I can make art in return for help. If you play Webkinz, I have some pretty rare items I'm willing to send over as well.
Communication will be done via Discord, so please only offer to help if you have an account there. Thank you!
okay—this is not a normal post but I've become DESPERATE to find other people who remember this game...
did anyone else play this game Amazing World?? it was made by Ganz (the company behind Webkinz) and I was absolutely obsessed with it as a kid, I played it probably circa 2012-2014
this was the promotional picture (if that's what you call it)
it was like an open world kids MMO (I'm not good with video game terms please don't kill me 💔) and it also had mini games, plus it had a similar "buy toys with codes and play as them in the game" component like Webkinz
here's a picture I found of some of the plushies, they also had little plastic figures:
IF YOU REMEMBER THIS PLEAASE COMMENT OR REBLOG AND TELL ME... PLUS UR USERNAME I wonder if I can find any of my old friends... Most specifically I remember my best friend on there was named Brownie Sparklebuttons and played as this purple dog character with flowers on the ears, this is the plush version:
my username was Angelina Bolester (yeah it sounds weird 💀 all the names were randomly generated so I picked that one as a small child). I also remember a fishing minigame that I loved, and one where you fought a big slime monster
BUT YEAH TELL ME IF U PLAYED THIS AND ANY MEMORIES YOU HAVE FROM IT. GREATLY APPRECIATED 🙏🙏 and I mean even if you didn't I'd love if this got spread around so I can possibly find more players TY
Hi! This is my Amazing World blog, created to relive some of my old memories concerning the game. I will be posting about my Zing, (Wade or Marshmallow), memories, and interacting with other people who also miss the game!
