cas and dean do it kitty style. and by that i mean is that they pet each other, but not for too long. they’re fond of the same ways of touch. the shoulder, the face cradle. and sometimes they’ll allow more. sometimes it’ll seem like they wanna touch but won’t. and they stare like they see more than you. and it goes on forever. a head tilt sometimes included. and they leave and they come back. in fact, they want each other to come back so bad, but they’re real stubborn about it. and then they will be extremely unhappy once you come back, they’ll get their spite out and then become warmer again. not right away though. the stubbornness will stay, but they’ll probably regret the real mean things they’ve said, only to try and subtly repay their dues by doing something for each other. something that the other might not even notice.
