“Bruce is emotionally incompetent and can’t step outside his own morality” yeah it’s a character flaw.
“Dick is extremely stubborn and thinks he’s right all the time” yeah it’s a character flaw.
“Jason has hypocritical tendencies” yeah it’s a character flaw.
“ Tim is entitled and doesn’t think about people when seeking results, and often acts uncaring” yeah it’s a character flaw.
“Damian is rude and bratty” yeah, it’s a character flaw.
Also, some people may not even regard everything listed above as flaws.
Having negative traits allows incredible flexibility within your characters, what makes them intriguing, what makes them easy to relate to. If you want to write people, then write people. But they can’t be good and clean all the time.

under-realized horror concept from Danny Phantom #714298: ecto-acne.
In the show it's basically a joke. Haha! Vlad's life-ruining ghostly medical disaster... was acne! The proto-portal accident gave him ghost pimples! This is relateable humor for teens!
But damn when you think about it. There is ectoplasm, the very essence of something dead, rolling and roiling under your skin. Your living body is trying to reject this dead thing that is part of you; your skin bubbles, warps, pops under the strain of your body trying to reject itself, your body trying to force this otherworldly thing out of you. Your skin is twisting and cracking as it slowly kills you, your body destroying itself trying to get it out.
But from the outside sure, haha acne, right

A part of me still can't fathom how collectively and proudly stupid people were during the Heard vs Depp trial. Like supporting that man was just a trend or based from a recollection you had of him in the 90's. No brain was used

to be clear, I think Rose Tyler being an often-selfish character is great. I think it's great because real women are selfish. Real women get petty. Real women hear their ex boyfriend say he's going out with a mutual acquaintance and get unfairly jealous and real women then say things like "she's a bit big" when they shouldn't and they have no right. Real women can be monsters, and Rose Tyler is relatable and I love how she is written and I love her, thanks for listening

i've discovered in the past few months that i actually really enjoy socializing and listening to people, and that people like what i have to say and how i say it and my sense of humor (when i'm comfortable and familiar enough with them to be able to be able to be quick witted in conversations). however i'm unfortunately also extremely unsocialized due to a childhood spent alone almost 24/7 and often emotionally abused and neglected, so whenever i stumble (which i frequently do like a baby deer on ice) i default to word vomit, stock photo formulaic responses i've clearly rehearsed before, and that awful kind of defensive, insincere irony that makes it obvious i struggle to trust people and don't feel comfortable in my own skin. and i'm slowly improving and getting better at recognizing it and practicing so i can be more relaxed and self-assured and charismatic, not because i'm trying to be but because i'm genuinely confident and content with being myself, but it's fucking mortifying having to learn and catch up with like 20 years of experience that a lot of the people i talk to had when they were young enough for people to dismiss it as just the process of growing up and being allowed to be immature and make mistakes because you're literally a child (thank fuck for fellow neurodivergent people or i'd feel incredibly lonely despite my newfound joy in human interaction).

Man, I used to feel sad whenever someone self deprecated, but more and more recently, I've just found myself getting increasingly frustrated. Not at the person self-deprecating per se, but rather the fact the circumstances reached that point, y'know?
I hate that we're taught we're terrible people if we can't keep up with every little thing or that what we do isn't worth the effort just because you're not doing that thing every day or doing it enough to keep up with rapid consumption and just like... all these stupid little circumstances.
Quit pushing yourself around. The outside world does that enough already. You're way way cooler than your brain ever makes you out to be, I promise

orv epilogue talk
initially the explanation behind the fourth wall bothered me a bit because I was fine with it as is… a literal fourth wall the dokkaebi king isn’t really much of a character so like why should I care about this idk…
but then I realized. the point isn’t what it is but rather why
the dokkaebi king only became the wall because of han sooyoung’s wish to protect kim dokja. during orv the [fourth wall] skill saves his life countless times, but at the same time it dulls all his emotions so he can't fully connect with everyone else
that’s just the literal events that happened. symbolically, han sooyoung’s wish was expressed through her writing twsa for him, and by escaping into the fiction of that world, kim dokja was able to survive. at the same time, using fiction to cope with reality like that has him feeling disconnected from the world and everyone else in it… and that’s what led to him making the 49/51 decision he sees his place as just a reader—an outsider to everyone else's story. because that's how he survived
so maybe han sooyoung’s desperate wish to save him back then also doomed him..? but that really was all she could do then...

u mean to tell me graham is SO insecure he cant handle having ANY imperfections or flaws and HAS to be on top or else he completely loses all mental stability
AND overworks himself to the point of PASSING OUT FROM EXHAUSTION after battling the toons because hes so desperate to win
AND is so invested in hustle culture that he disregards his physical/mental health and bases a lot of his self-worth on being the best employee
AND has burnt himself out as a result (based on his disciplinary records)
YET THERES AN INSANE LACK OF GRAHAM ANGST IN THE COMMUNITY?
