This= Dusiao’s dialogue

It was a rainy afternoon, the smell of freshly cooked potato soup filled the kitchen and worked its way into the living room. On the couch sat Dusiao, just sitting there waiting for Vince to come out. Earlier Dusiao came over at the Trout brothers house to go and check on them, Aubrey was out with Salem to meet up with Jeff and Varai while Vince stayed home to cook. The man didn’t let Dusiao take a step in his kitchen, Vince is a bit old fashioned when it comes to being a host at his house, he just makes sure you’re comfortable while he does the chores, cooking is one of them, when Dusiao came over he was almost done with the soup (all he needed was to add a little bit more spices and bacon bits as well as some green onions) and when he stepped in to the kitchen Vince leads him into the living room, saying that he is a guest and that he already does so much for the gang he should just relax. So there he is, drink in one hand and his other on his thigh trying to not fall asleep.

Vince came in with two bowls in his hand, the two men then started to eat and chat about different events of their lives, almost choking on their meal due to the funny ones. They cleaned up a bit when they were finished then head back to the living room.

"𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚝𝚒𝚛𝚎𝚍?" “Yeah a little bit.” "𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝚝𝚊𝚔𝚎 𝚊 𝚗𝚊𝚙 𝚘𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚌𝚑 𝚒𝚏 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝, 𝙸 𝚍𝚘𝚗´𝚝 𝚖𝚒𝚗𝚍. “Are you sure? "𝚘𝚏 𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚎, 𝙸´𝚕𝚕 𝚋𝚎 𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚒𝚏 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚗𝚎𝚎𝚍 𝚖𝚎.

Dusiao hesitated at first, he wasn’t getting the best sleep lately due to his past sneaking up in his dreams. He took a deep breath and laid down, closing his eyes and relaxing. Letting the warmth of the soup and sound of the rain lulling him to sleep.

Screams. Blood. Eyes. Laughter. Pain. Endless dark void. Dusiao woke up in a cold sweat, when he opened his eyes he saw a worried Vince in front of him holding his arm in pain. Dusiao now catching his breath he looked at Vince with worry. “Vince are you ok, I’m sorry if I hit you.” "𝙸 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚋𝚎 𝚊𝚜𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝, 𝚑𝚊𝚍 𝚊 𝚗𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝𝚖𝚊𝚛𝚎?" “Yeah.” "��𝚘 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝 𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚔 𝚊𝚋𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚒𝚝?" Dusiao looked down at his hands, he could still feel the blood and skin of the fallen child. “No thank you.” Vince thought over what to do then a light bulb went on in his head. "𝚑𝚎𝚢 𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚙𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚜𝚎 𝚜𝚌𝚘𝚘𝚝 𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚊 𝚕𝚒𝚝𝚝𝚕𝚎 𝚋𝚒𝚝." Dusiao then sit up and scoot over. Vince then sat behind him then laid Dusiao on top of him, Dusiao’s head on his chest so he can listen to his heartbeat. "𝚒𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚘𝚔?" Dusiao look at the man and told him he was fine. There was a familiar feeling of comfort. Vince started to hum and pet Dusiao’s hair with one hand and the other held Dusiao’s hand. Vince then begins to sing. "𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚎 𝚜𝚝𝚘𝚙 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚌𝚛𝚢𝚒𝚗𝚐, 𝚒𝚝 𝚠𝚒𝚕𝚕 𝚋𝚎 𝚊𝚕𝚛𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝." Vince then tucks a strand of hair behind Dusiao´s ear. "𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚝𝚊𝚔𝚎 𝚖𝚢 𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚍, 𝚑𝚘𝚕𝚍 𝚒𝚝 𝚝𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝. "𝙸 𝚠𝚒𝚕𝚕 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚝𝚎𝚌𝚝 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚖 𝚊𝚕𝚕 𝚊𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞." "𝙸 𝚆𝚒𝚕𝚕 𝚋𝚎 𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎, 𝚍𝚘𝚗´𝚝 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚌𝚛𝚢." Vince continued to hum the lyrics, nearly falling asleep himself. Dusiao smiled softly as he closed his eyes, listening to the humming and Vince’s heartbeat. There was no screaming. No void. No eyes. and no pain. Just a peaceful meadow and friends, along with a tall man with reddish brown hair who oddly had similar features to his friend Aubrey.
