I rounded the corner within the halls of my father’s hospital, heading towards his oh so familiar office. I  had spent a good portion of my childhood playing in the office halls of the hospital so as to not get in the way of an emergency. Every take your child to work day, every early dismissal, random day off from school, and every weekend he had to work and couldn’t find someone to watch me, he brought me here up until I was about 12.
Now I was in college, studying biology as a pre-med student at Johns Hopkins University. But today I was returning to Forks for my summer vacation in between my freshman and sophomore year. He was supposed to pick me up from the airport tomorrow but I had wanted to surprise him at work so I left a day early.
Reaching the door to his office, I entered. Embarrassingly, I had been so eager I hadn’t even checked if he was busy. As the door swung open I was met with the golden hair and eyes of the most gorgeous man I had ever seen. Given his youth I assumed he was a student or a resident but one look at his badge told me he was an attending.
“Y/N? What are you doing here?” my father’s voice broke me from my trance.
“Hi!” I smiled at my father, ripping myself from the mystery man’s enchanting gaze. “I wanted to surprise you,” I explained, returning his hug. “I was so excited I didn’t even consider that you were busy. Sorry,” I apologized to both men.
“Don’t be,” the blond said in an almost melodic voice. “Trust me I understand the importance of family.”
“Yeah Dr. Cullen’s kids are here all the time,” my father laughed.
‘This guy has kids?’ I thought. ‘Plural? He looks no older than 25.’
Seemingly reading the confusion on my face he explained. “Adopted kids. My sister and I were foster kids so we always agreed we’d adopt as many as possible. So far we’ve adopted five teenagers, hoping to give them a new shot at life.”
“Wow,” was all I said, unsure of how to react. ‘Well this guy was definitely out,’ I noted to myself. ‘Not only is he your father’s colleague, he had five teenagers.’ “Well I should let you get back to it,” I said shyly, already backing out of my father’s office, embarrassed. “I’ll be at the house and we’ll get dinner after?” I suggested to my father.
“Sounds good. See you later sweetie,” he called after me.
~
Carlisle tried his hardest to focus on Dr. L/N’s words but he couldn’t, he was so focused on his colleague’s daughter. When she entered the office he had sucked in a breath he didn’t need. He had heard that some mate connections hit you like a brick but he hadn’t seen it with anyone except presumably between Rosalie and Emmett when she demanded he save him.
So as soon as he was done with his meeting he hopped into his Mercedes and headed towards Dr. L/N’s house. Once he reached it he found no cars in the driveway or any indication that there had been a car there recently, only wet footprints leading up to the porch and inside the door, presumably from Y/N getting out of a cab.
Continuing past the house he parked about half a mile away before running back to the house, a feat that only took him a couple seconds.
Taking a page from Edward’s book he began creeping along the side of the house, trying to spot Y/N through a window. But when he couldn’t find her he was forced to climb up some trees until he found her in what was presumably her bedroom, unpacking a suitcase full of clothes.
He watched, admiring the girl as she sorted through the clothes, tossing some in the laundry bin and others in piles to be sorted in the closet. He realized that he could watch her all day, admiring the quirks of her expression as she reacted to different situations. He hadn’t understood the other Cullens’ obsessions with each other until now.
He continued to watch for hours. His eyes sometimes drifting to the delicate curves of her body but always scolding himself for thinking of her like that given that she didn’t even really know him. But a small part of his mind whispered that she’d be his one day.
He only left when he heard her father’s car approaching, swearing to come back to learn more about her so he could strike up a conversation about her favorite things the next time they “accidentally” ran into each other.
~
The next time I visited the hospital wasn’t just to visit my father, it was because I had managed to slip in a puddle, earning myself a gash on the forehead.
I was sat in the waiting room going on two hours with a blood soaked rag pressed to my forehead. I truly didn’t mind waiting seeing as I knew there were far more injured people getting treated. But as I continued to wait I started to get more and more light headed. I began to make my way to the desk in hopes they could give me some answers when I got a head rush, stumbling into a very cold, hard chest.
“Y/N?” I heard the melodic voice again. This time dripping with concern. “What happened?”
“Oh nothing,” I dismissed, reluctantly pulling away from the grasp he had on my arms. “Just slipped in a puddle and my head kind of ate it,” I chuckled.
“How long have you been here?” he asked, more concern ebbing into his voice.
“I don’t know about two hours?” I shrugged, trying to not make a big deal of it. “Please don’t tell my dad, he’ll just get all concerned and angry and wonder why I wasn’t immediately treated.”
Inside, Carlisle was already feeling all those things I just described. “Well you shouldn’t have to sit there for two hours, bleeding out of your head. You should’ve been brought for a CT. C’mon, can’t have Dr. L/N’s daughter bleeding out in the waiting room.”
I smiled shyly as I felt his strong, cold hand be gently placed on my lower back as he guided me towards an exam room.
~
All throughout the exam Carlisle had to hold his breath. He has excellent control, it’s what many believe to be his special ability and it allows him to do what he loves but Y/N’s blood? The faintest smell alone made venom flood his mouth. And the blood soaked rag along with the fact that he had to bandage up her forehead didn’t help.
“Okay, that should do it,” he smiled, thankfully pulling back from his mate as he finished taping a bandage onto her head. “You’ll have to keep it bandaged for a couple days but your father should be able to help with that. And you most likely won’t scar.”
She breathed a sigh of relief. “Thanks Dr. Cullen. I owe you one.”
He shook his head, breathing a laugh as he looked down at the girl’s chart. “Please, I’m happy to do it. And you can call me Carlisle.”
“Carlisle,” she repeated, nearly melting the vampire right there, “that’s an interesting name, never heard it.”
“Well my parents were a bit old fashioned,” he explained. “So your father tells me you finished your first year at Johns Hopkins? That’s very impressive.”
He admired her blush as she looked down at the ground. “Thanks. I think I was the only one of my graduating class to go out of state.”
“Yeah, I’ve figured out Forks is a very small town. Not many people leave,” he chuckled. “Do you know what you want to study?”
“Um I’ve always kind of wanted to be a surgeon. I know it’s the most difficult specialty but I enjoy the precision of it,” she shrugged.
Carlisle felt a sense of disappointment at the news that his mate wanted to be a surgeon. Being a doctor was hard enough as a vampire but having to literally cut people open? Even he didn’t think he’d be able to focus surrounded by so much blood. He was already dreading having to tell her that she couldn’t be a surgeon after she turned, not at least for decades while she learned control. He was suddenly snapped from his fantasies realizing that this human barely knew him and practically everything he knew about her came from his lurking outside her windows.
Dragging himself out of his thoughts which had no doubt created a long, awkward pause he spoke again. “Yes, well if you made it to Johns Hopkins then I’m sure you can do it.”
“Thanks Doc- Carlisle,” Y/N corrected before standing up off the table and heading for the door.
As she exited, taking most of her intoxicating scent with her, Carlisle sucked in a breath he didn’t need. As much as he hated watching his mate leave he needed a break from her blood. No one had tempted him the way Y/N L/N had, even when he was a starving newborn. And he realized that he would have to figure out a way to get close to her and get her to love him before he even told her about the mate bond. A difficult feat considering her father’s place as his colleague.
~
When Carlisle got home that evening he immediately went to his room, tipping off the family that something was different.
As he collapsed backwards onto his sofa he let his mind wander to his mate. He could picture her face so clearly, and more frighteningly he could still imagine the smell of her blood with eerie accuracy. He imagined all his future endeavors to keep her safe as a human. He’d watch over her, always be within reach to step in when she needed. He pictured their love story. It’d be slow and start with glances and fleeting touches until he invited her out to dinner once she became more comfortable with him. He’d kiss her goodnight on the porch and then make sure she got into the safety of her home before leaving. Their relationship would develop from there with more dates, with Y/N’s father’s approval of course. And when she uttered the words ‘I love you,’ he’d tell her about him and his species because he knew he had earned her love. And as much as he didn’t want to damn her to a life of hiding and being a monster, he couldn’t help but imagine her turning. He’d gently bite into the soft flesh of her throat, injecting his venom into her veins, cementing her as his forever. But the thought of hurting her and turning her into a monster made him hesitate.
As Carlisle continued to immerse himself in his fantasies, his sister entered. “Carlisle?” Esme called softly. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah,” he agreed, sitting up. He wasn’t sure whether or not to tell his family that he had met him mate, considering they were already dealing with the human mate to Edward, Bella, who they had just moved back to Forks for. Of course no secrets stayed secrets for long thanks to Edward and Alice’s gifts. Edward could be counted on for discretion but Alice’s overeager nature wouldn’t allow that. He was surprised that Alice hadn’t already planned a party but maybe she hadn’t seen his mate in her visions yet. He had also wanted to keep her his own little secret for a while but clearly that wouldn’t be happening so he relented. “I- uh met my true mate.”
Esme’s eyes widened as she gasped. Of course living in a house full of vampires everyone heard and immediately began rushing in.
“You met your mate!” Alice practically screamed, nearly knocking over Esme.
“What’s she like?” Emmett asked with a grin. “Or he?” he added hesitantly.
“It’s a she,” Carlisle confirmed. “It’s very new. She doesn’t even really know anything about me and everything I know about her comes from lurking outside her window,” he groaned in embarrassment.
“Well that worked with Bella,” Jasper laughed.
Edward shot his brother a glare before looking back at his adoptive father. “Just find an excuse to be around her, ask her on a date.”
“That’s the thing, she’s 19-”
“You’re physically 23,” Alice cut in.
“Her father is my coworker,” he elaborated. “Besides they think I’m 31 at the hospital. And she just finished her first year pre-med.”
“So you’ll see her around the hospital!” Alice insisted, still trying to convince her adoptive father that everything would be fine. “Suggest that she comes to the hospital more to observe or do an internship! Then you can get to know her and ask her on a date.”
“That’s not actually the worst plan,” Edward admitted.
Carlisle thought for a second. That could actually work, he’d just have to figure out how to bring it up to her and her father naturally.
“So what’s she like?” Rosalie asked suddenly.
If vampires could blush Carlisle would be bright red. “Well um she has H/L, (hair length) H/T, (type) H/C (color) hair. She actually looks a lot like her father, Dr. L/N. She goes to Johns Hopkins. Look can everyone just go back to what they were doing?”
“But we want to meet her,” Alice practically whined.
In his frustration with everything Carlisle blurted out, “You may not even get to meet her.”
That dampened the mood. “What?” Esme asked softly.
“Nothing is decided yet but she’s human. We’re already dealing with Bella, the Volturi are already keeping their eyes on us, and I don’t want to doom her to this life if I don’t have to.”
“But this is your mate,” Alice insisted. “You’ve been alone for 350 years!”
“He has a point,” Rosalie cut in. “We can’t afford to have another human know about us especially with the Volturi sniffing around us. And we shouldn’t be turning people unless they’re actively dying.”
“But she’s his true mate!” Alice maintained, practically stamping her foot on the ground. “He can’t just turn his back on her.”
“Look nothing is decided,” Carlisle tried to calm Alice down. “I have to be back at work in a few hours and I need to hunt so if you’d all please let me be.”
Everyone shuffled out of the room reluctantly except for Edward. “It will break your heart to let that girl go.”
Carlisle paused. He knew that, the idea of letting her go live her life and potentially fall in love with someone else broke his heart. “I know,” he admitted. “But the thought of having to hurt her and make her like this hurts just as much.”
“So love her for the duration of her mortal life.”
“Just to watch her age, live in pain, and die? I couldn’t handle that.”
“But you’re doing it for her,” Edward pointed out.
“But if I’m doing it for her shouldn’t I just let her go live a normal life?”
Edward shrugged. “I don’t know the right answer here just that no matter what you choose it’ll kill you in some way. That’s the unfortunate truth about loving a human.”
~
A few weeks went by and Y/N became a routine part of Carlisle’s day. He’d usually see her at the hospital, working as a secretary. (A job she acquired even without Carlisle’s suggestion.) Because of that he had gained a reputation for hanging around the nurses station, flirting with Y/N. Not only did he learn about her through actually talking to her, he would make frequent trips to her house to watch her through the windows, even occasionally going into her room, which he felt wrong about but being surrounded by her scent dismissed any doubt from his mind.
“Y/N,” he greeted like he did every morning, bringing her a coffee.
“You must be spending a fortune on coffee,” she commented, taking the cup. She had protested several times, insisting that she pay him back but he refused every time so she just began to accept it.
“It’s nothing,” he dismissed. “But if it was it’d be worth it,” he flirted, earning a blush from the girl. Carlisle had learned a lot about flirting in these few weeks. At first it was a bit clumsy but he picked it up fairly easily with a little coaching from Rosalie and Emmett.
“Yeah well you won’t have to spend like $4.50 everyday for much longer, one of my professors is starting a research project a month before the semester begins and he invited me as a fellow,” she explained, a glimmer of disappointment behind her bright, casual expression.
If Carlisle’s heart wasn’t already frozen it would’ve stopped beating. He tried his best to hide his shock and disappointment. “Oh, well congratulations. Getting invited to stuff like this is really good for med school applications.”
“Yeah, and I like being here but it was too good of an opportunity to pass up, y’know? Plus it’ll be nice to see the sun again,” she awkwardly laughed, sensing the doctor’s unease.
“Yeah, um well I have to go get some labs. Congratulations, I’ll see you around,” he rushed out with a forced smile. He didn’t stay long enough to hear her response, rushing out of the room as fast as possible without being suspicious.
He couldn’t think straight. He of course had thought about her just leaving but now that it was actually happening, as well as happening sooner than expected, he didn’t know how to deal with it.
~
Carlisle had no clue what to do when it came to his mate leaving. He couldn’t stop her, that wasn’t fair to Y/N, so instead he kept his distance. Which was easy considering that he could smell her from a mile away. Until one day at the hospital when the scent of her blood was particularly strong.
“19 year old female, car crash. Resuscitated once in the field, three times en route,” the panicked voice of the paramedic echoed through Carlisle’s sensitive ears. He rushed into the ER, spotting her through the window of the trauma room. He mostly recognized her through her scent but would know that H/T, H/C hair and S/T skin through purple and blue bruises from a million miles away. But the next words from her attending doctor only confirmed the worst. “Page Dr. L/N, it’s Y/N!”
It felt like Carlisle had been sucker punched in the gut. It took everything in him not to stagger back and let out a dry sob right there in the ER. When her heart monitor flatlined he wanted to slaughter every person in that room in his grief. It was ridiculous, 350 years of self control would be gone just because of a girl. But not just any girl, his girl.
When they finally got Y/N’s heartbeat back they wheeled her up to surgery, just as Dr. L/N entered the ER. “Where’s Y/N? Where’s my daughter?” he demanded, trying to launch himself at the ER desk.
“D/N, D/N,” Carlisle tried to calm the distraught father. He had to physically hold the man back with vampire strength. Fortunately the ER was too chaotic for anyone to notice. “They took her up to surgery, she’ll be fine.”
“Surgery? Oh god,” the man began to cry. “But that’s my baby, she’s all I have.” With those words Carlisle began to feel guilty. Just a few weeks ago a part of him had been so ready to basically just kidnap this poor man’s daughter and completely shatter his world without a thought. “Oh god, surgery here is a death sentence.”
Carlisle began to protest before really thinking about it. Forks Hospital was small, their surgical staff consisted of two surgeons and whatever nurses that had completed the surgical nurse program. No one came her for surgery, they all went to Port Angeles and their non-emergent traumas went there too. The only people who came here were on the brink of death and unfortunately the two surgeons here weren’t exactly outstanding in their field. They were good enough but nothing remarkable and they usually lost their patients due to the circumstances.
~
Carlisle tried to carry on his day as if the love of his life wasn’t dying in a surgical suite right now. But the ordinarily smooth, confident doctor was distracted and constantly messing up. Until finally his shift was over and he went up to his mate’s room. He had orchestrated the nurses’ charts so she’d be placed in a secluded room should Carlisle need to intervene to prolong her life.
When he entered the room he was met with the most heartbreaking sight. Y/N was laid on the bed, an intubation tube sticking out of her throat. Her entire face was black and blue, some bones in her face looked like they had been broken. She hardly looked recognizable. On the only chair in the room sat her father looking like a worried mess. “Oh, hey Carlisle,” Dr. L/N said dejectedly.
“I’m so sorry, D/N.”
The man shrugged. “She’s tough. She managed to claw her way out of this place. She’ll survive this.”
“I hope so,” Carlisle agreed, staring longingly at his mate.
He didn’t want to arouse too much suspicion from Y/N’s father so he reluctantly went home to change and hunt.
After his quick hunt he re-entered his home finding Alice. “Carlisle, I’m so sorry,” she said softly. He wasn’t sure what to say to that but fortunately he didn’t have to come up with anything because she spoke again. “But you have to stay with her at the hospital if you want any shot at survival.” By now Edward had joined them.
“What?” Carlisle asked.
“She won’t survive this. You’re a doctor, you have to know that. So you’ll have to change her.”
Carlisle would be lying if he said he hadn’t thought of the scenario where Y/N was severely injured and he needed to change her. He looked up at his oldest son. “There’s nothing wrong about saving her life if she’s already dying.”
Not wanting to waste another second Carlisle sped off. He almost ran to the hospital but realized at the last second he should take the car. So he floored it, doing 150mph practically the whole way there. And finally parking in the back so he’d be able to bring her home unseen.
When he got to the hospital his ears were bombarded with thousands of sounds, something he was now used to, but because of his experience he was able to tune into his mate’s heart monitor while he got his plan ready.
Heading to the morgue he found a body that was a similar build and coloring to Y/N. Carlisle was by no means squeamish but it felt weird to break her bones and watch bruises form over her skin until her face was unrecognizable. He then scraped up as many ashes as possible to make it look like someone had cremated her so no one would go looking for her body. Setting the body aside he headed back upstairs finding Dr. L/N slumped over in a chair.
Carlisle hesitantly shook the older man awake. “Hey,” he said softly, willing the man to take his suggestion. “You should go home and rest. Get changed. I’ll watch over her.” The man hesitated, still staring at his fragile daughter. “She'll be fine, I’ll call you if anything happens.”
He reluctantly agreed before heading out, making Carlisle promise to call him even if her heart rate changed by two points.
Carlisle sat for a while, waiting for the hospital to calm down a bit before enacting his plan. First he went to the nurses station while no one was there, turning off the monitors that connected to his mate’s room. He then went back downstairs, using his hearing and sense of smell to bring the body up without being detected. Finally it was time to turn his mate. He stood over her bedside, observing her mortality for the final time. Through the black and blue of her face he admired her beauty, reminiscing the unique, flawed beauty of mortals.
This would be the most difficult transformation of his life. He was more nervous than when he had turned his sister who was his first turn. Y/N’s blood smelled so sweet he wasn’t sure he’d be able to pull away. He took a deep breath through his mouth before lowering his head to her throat, biting quickly. It took everything in him to pull away. He had never killed a human but he had tasted blood when he turned them and Y/N’s was like nothing he had ever tasted before. He knew he had to hold on long enough for the venom to inject into her bloodstream which made it even harder to pull away but he did it.
When he pulled back he could see blood seeping from her puncture wounds telling him he didn’t kill her. He quickly began disconnecting her from the machines before the venom could wreak havoc on her system. He then swapped her body for the one from the morgue, connecting the machines once again. Running down to the car he placed her unconscious figure in the backseat before going upstairs to reconnect the nurses station, alerting them that Y/N L/N was dying.
But by the time they reached her room with a crash cart Carlisle was already escaping with his prize in the back seat.
~
It took three agonizing days for Y/N’s transformation. Carlisle spent every moment he could at her side. He had to go to the hospital in order to not arouse suspicion where he unfortunately had to deal with her grieving father. He had called him on the way home to tell that he had gone to the bathroom and when he got back she was coding. But it didn’t seem to make anything easier for Dr. L/N as the man tried to tackle Carlisle when he walked into work. Fortunately for his secret a nurse stopped him. “You left her!” he screamed. “I lost my baby. I didn’t get to say goodbye because of you!”
At first Carlisle had been elated to finally have his mate (among other conflicting feelings) but now he was confronting the grief he had created. He realized that even if she was going to die anyway, if he hadn’t intervened her father would’ve gotten to say his final goodbye.
Meanwhile at home Y/N was laid on the soft couch in his room. She had spent the first two days sleeping fairly peacefully to the point that Carlisle was afraid he had killed her but her slowing heartbeat was assurance that she was okay. The third day was the hardest, he learned from Jasper that he could feel her pain. He was at work when the pain started and Alice had called him since she would be awake soon and Carlisle had wanted to be the one with her when she woke up.
Carlisle had been sitting by her side for a few hours, admiring her now clear skin, pure from all the bruises and broken bones she had received. In his own cold, stone hand, he now felt the same in her hand, all the warmth having been drained from it now as he played with her fingers adoringly.
~
Even before I opened my eyes I could hear so clearly. I could hear the rustle of clothing, the sound of skin rubbing skin as I realized a cold hand was playing with my fingers. As I became more aware I realized that my throat felt so dry it felt like it was burning.
Peeling my eyes open I was met with what seemed like the brightest object in the universe. I was half convinced I was staring directly into the sun except I could heat the hum of electric lighting.
“Is it too bright?” a voice— Carlisle’s voice asked.
Turning my head I met his warm, golden expression. When I nodded in agreement he ran towards the switch faster than I had ever seen anything move. Weird, but maybe I was just really groggy, but strangely I didn’t feel groggy, I felt more alive than I ever had.
Carlisle’s face reappeared in my field of vision, I could now more clearly see the flawlessness of his skin and the flecks of gold in his irises. Unbeknownst to me he was was also now observing the smoothness of my skin and the deep red hue of my eyes. Something about him felt safe and warm, like I never wanted to leave his side again. “Carlisle?” was all I could think of to say.
His adoring smile widened when I said his name. “Hey, Y/N. How are you feeling?”
“Good…” I answered hesitantly. I felt better than I ever had but his question made me think I shouldn’t feel good.
“That’s good. The transformation can be rougher for some people,” he explained, pulling away slightly to allow me room to sit up.
As I pushed myself up I moved so fast the couch slid to the side. My eyes widened, realizing what happened. “What’s going on? What transformation?”
He took my hands in his, now kneeling on the ground in front of me. “This is going to be strange and you won’t believe me but bear with me, okay?” he asked, looking up at me. One look in his eyes and I was melting so I just nodded, allowing him to explain. “I’m… a vampire. And I made you one too.” Laughs began to wrack my body, this had to be a joke. But one look at the grave sincerity on his face told me he wasn’t joking. “It’s true. It’s why when you sat up the couch moved. Why you’re probably really overwhelmed with all the sound, smells, lights, and feelings. Vampires are the most dangerous predators. We have better senses, are faster, and stronger than anything else.” Seeing my lost expression he rushed out the next words. “I know it’s a lot and I’m sorry I did this to you.”
“Why did you do this to me?”
“How much do you remember?”
“The last thing I remember is driv-” I suddenly realized what must’ve happened. “I was in an accident wasn’t I?”
Carlisle nodded his head regretfully. “You weren’t going to make it. That’s why I turned you. I didn’t want to do it. I was going to let you live your life as a human whether that be with me or with someone else but I couldn’t just let you die.”
“So what? You just turn every dying patient in the hospital?” I asked, trying to wrap my head around his words.
He shook his head no. “You’re the first I’ve turned in nearly 70 years. I couldn’t let you die because… well you see-” Carlisle was struggling with the best word choice to keep from scaring his mate off. “We’re mates… I knew the instant I saw you. Humans can’t feel it as strongly and it’s rare to meet your true mate but that’s what we are.” I didn’t know how to react, I didn’t even know exactly what I was feeling. “You don’t have to stay, you certainly don’t have to accept our bond but I thought you should know about it. Before you got hurt I was planning to hopefully be worthy of your love the old-fashioned way but given the circumstances…”
Before I could say anything the door swung open, revealing three more vampires. One had blonde curls, another with a brunette, short pixie, and the third had caramel hair and had a strong resemblance to Carlisle. “Hi, I’m Alice!” the bubbly brunette introduced.
“Um, girls-” Carlisle attempted to dismiss them so as to not overwhelm his mate.
“She’s probably thirsty,” the blonde insisted. Everyone looked over at me expectantly. Remembering the burning in my throat I nodded. Alice approached, opening a cup allowing the most appetizing scent to permeate through the air. I took it eagerly, frowning when I looked into the cup to find a thick, red liquid. Blood.
“It takes a bit of getting used to,” the caramel-haired one empathized.
“Trust me, you’ll like it,” Alice encouraged.
I gingerly brought it to my lips. The more I could smell it the thirstier I got so I downed the drink. The second the blood touched my lips I couldn’t get enough as I began to down the drink. Once it was all gone Carlisle gently brought the cup from my hands. “C’mon, you should meet the others,” he said, gently taking my hand in his. He led me out of his room, the three women following us into what looked like a very modern living room where there were three men waiting for us. “Y/N, these are my adoptive kids,” Carlisle explained as the blonde and Alice went to stand with their… brothers? “That’s Alice and Jasper, Emmett and Rosalie,” he pointed out the couples, “Edward, and my sister, Esme.”
~
The Cullen clan welcomed Y/N with open arms, including Bella when she eventually met the new vampire. It took a day or two of warming up but soon enough Carlisle and Y/N began to behave just like other mates. They were constantly together, and the rest of the Cullen clan were happy to finally see Carlisle so happy with his mate after 350 years.

Jasper watched as y/n woke up next to him, her h/c hair tangled in her face.
“Good morning love” he senses her joy and carefully moves her hair out of her face.
She smiles, her big e/c eyes warming his frozen cold heart. “good morning jasper”
“how are you feeling my love?” That makes her giggle
“You already know how I feel silly”
“Yes, but I’d like to hear you say it.”
She smiles again love for him showing on her face
“I’m happy, and in love”
He feigns innocence
“Now who’s got you’re heart all in a knot?” He smiles
She hums
“Oh, he’s the most wonderful man, he is so sweet. And handsome, and I swear he can tell how I feel” she kisses his neck softly “And did I mention how hot he is?”
He gasps at her boldness
“Love, you’re emotions are so strong,”
She continues to kiss him only stopping to say “and? What am I feeling?”
“Pleasure, and love” He grabs her hands before she realizes “I don’t think you understand what you’re starting y/n” he says sternly
“Please do tell,” she says sarcastically.
“Don’t be a bad girl, or I’ll have to punish you. You know how I do hate punishing you,”
she doesn’t stop
“And what will you do to punish me? Spanking is getting quite tiring.” She smirks
“You’ll see,” Jasper pulls off her underwear with his teeth. She gasps feeling his cold tongue go inside her. He uses his teeth to lightly pull on her clit.
“Fuck jasper,” she moans knowing he’s heightening her feelings with his power
“You like this my dear?”
“You’re gonna make me cum,” the pleasure takes her body over and she grabs his head pushing it deeper into her.
He moves his tongue faster inside of her till she cums on him. He slowly gets up reaching for a vibrator on the nightstand.
“Oh no,” she gasps, she had always heard of people being overstimulated by there partners, but she never thought she’d see the day when jasper was gonna do it
“Are pigs flying?” She laughs nervously.
“Hm?” He asks
“Never mind”
“Alright”
she hears the vibrator be turned on, she watches as jasper licks it to make it wet.
“You sure I can’t just pleasure you jasper?”
“You were a bad girl, this is you’re punishment, my love”
“Oh fuck me,” she moans out as she feels the vibrator enter her.
“In due time, y/n.”
Y/ns moans echo throughout the room, sounding like a sweet melody in jaspers ears.
After 20 minutes jasper had made her cum 5 times
“Jasper please no more,” she gasps for breath “or at least stop heightening my fe-“ she moans loudly coming a sixth time
“Cum for me one more time, my love”
the vibrations go up and y/n opens her legs farther. She moves jasper’s fingers to her clit. A couple seconds later she cums again. The vibrations stop finally letting her breathe.
“Omg Jasper, that felt so good,”

Carlisle Cullen x GN! Reader
Summary: As Carlisle friends arrive your glued to his side as they look at you with hunger.
Warnings: Vampire & Human, Established Relationship, Vampires, Fight-or-Flight
Tumblr media
Hanging onto Carlisle's cold hand, looking around the room, sitting on the couch, trying to stay calm as you kept being looked at like a piece of meat, As much as Carlisle whispered to you like it wouldn't be heard, trying to comfort you.
Turning your attention to the TV Emmett had put on to watch, even if it didn't interest you. Resting your head on Carlisle's stiff shoulder, bathing in his scent brings some comfort to you. Feeling his arm wrap around, using his hand to caress your warm skin, waking goosebumps, making you shift down to his chest, holding his other hand as it rested on your lap, glancing down to watch him caress your hand with his thumb.
Raising your head, feeling the air grow tense as you did, fighting off Jasper's power in trying to calm you as the visitors and friends moved like they were about to pounce, You couldn't blame them; being the creatures they are, nothing could change that. Standing up slowly and calmly yet feeling like you needed to run away, needing to get out of the house.
Carlisle followed closely, not speaking as you went down the stairs quickly, then out the door. Finally, out in the cold air, taking a breath as the winter air chills you.
Adding to the chill, Carlisle hugged you from the side. "Let's go into town and get lunch," he says, then kisses your cheek, nodding quickly before walking down the driveway to Carlisle's car, letting him open the door for you.
Getting in, then closing it, he walks around, getting in the driver's seat. As he pulled away from the house, looking up to see them looking down at you, snapped your attention away. "I'm sorry they'll only be here for a couple of days," he says, placing his hand down on your thigh. "I know," you say back as your fight-or-flight left your body, placing your hand on top of his, watching as the forest flies past on your way into town.

If you write for fem black readers can I request Carlisle with a werewolf wife, since wolves are mostly always shirtless sometimes he has to remind her to wear a shirt bc she’s so used to being shirtless that it’s become a bad habit for her? Sometimes she’ll try to warm him up when they’re laying in bed tg by going to bed without a shirt and just some shorts on?
❝warm bodies❞

The moon hung low in the inky sky, casting eerie shadows through the dense forest. In the heart of the woods, (Y/N) moved stealthily, her senses heightened as she prowled through the night. She wasn't alone, surrounded by her pack, led by the enigmatic Alpha, Sam Uley. As a shapeshifter, (Y/N) had embraced her identity, shifting between her human and wolf forms with ease.
For years, she had belonged to Sam's pack, and they had become her family, her sanctuary. Her life was filled with the howls of her fellow wolves, the thrill of the hunt, and the camaraderie that came with being part of a pack. Yet, destiny had something else in store for her.
One fateful day, while on a routine patrol, (Y/N) had an encounter that would change her life forever. As she ventured deeper into the woods, her senses suddenly overloaded with an intoxicating scent – a scent she had never experienced before. It was like nothing else, drawing her in, and she followed it, her heart pounding with anticipation.
There, standing in a small clearing, was Carlisle Cullen. He was a man of unearthly beauty, his skin as pale as alabaster and his eyes a striking golden hue. The realization struck her like a lightning bolt – he was a vampire. But instead of fear, she felt an overwhelming sense of calm and belonging.
Their eyes met, and in that moment, time seemed to stand still. (Y/N) had heard of imprints, the unbreakable bonds that formed between shifters and their destined mates. She had never believed in such tales, but now she was living one. Carlisle was her imprint, and she was his.
Their connection deepened as they spent more time together, learning about each other's worlds, and falling in love against all odds. However, (Y/N) knew that leaving Sam's pack would not be easy. She had grown close to her fellow wolves, and her departure would surely leave a void.
But destiny had a way of guiding her path. Over the years, she gradually distanced herself from the pack, her bond with Carlisle growing stronger. She began to feel a new sense of purpose, one that extended beyond the boundaries of her old life.
(Y/N) found herself drawn to the Olympic clan, a coven of vampires who were unlike any others she had encountered. Edward, Alice, Emmett, Rosalie, and Jasper welcomed her with open arms, seeing her as a mother figure, a source of guidance and protection. In her, they found the maternal love they had longed for.
As the years passed, (Y/N) and Carlisle's love deepened, and they decided to take the ultimate step – to get married. It was a ceremony unlike any other, uniting a shapeshifter and a vampire in eternal love.
The day she left Sam's pack was bittersweet, but she knew she was following her heart, forging a new path with the family she had chosen. She embraced her role as a mother figure to the Olympic clan, guiding them with wisdom and love.
As she stood by Carlisle's side, their hands intertwined, (Y/N) knew that her life had taken a remarkable turn. She had gone from being a member of a wolf pack to becoming the matriarch of a vampire coven. Her journey was just beginning, and she was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead with the love of her life and her newfound family by her side.
Several years had passed since (Y/N) had left Sam's pack and embraced her new life as a member of the Olympic clan. Time had been kind to her, and her bond with Carlisle had only deepened with each passing day. Yet, some things remained unchanged.
One of those things was (Y/N)'s unique trait as a shifter – her body ran hot. It was a characteristic shared by most of Sam's pack, a constant reminder of their supernatural nature. This meant that (Y/N) had a tendency to walk around shirtless, often sporting a sports bra, especially in the scorching summer months.
It was a habit she had picked up during her time with the pack, and it had become second nature to her. To her, it was simply a way to stay cool in the heat, and she never thought twice about it. However, it did raise a few eyebrows among the Cullens, who were accustomed to a more modest way of dressing.
Carlisle, in particular, found himself constantly reminding (Y/N) to put on a shirt before she left the house. It had become a playful ritual between them, one that never failed to make him smile.
"(Y/N), darling, please remember to put on a shirt," Carlisle would say with a gentle smile as he kissed her goodbye in the morning.
She would roll her eyes, grinning mischievously. "You worry too much, Carlisle. It's not like I'm going to walk into town like this."
But sometimes, she did. (Y/N) was known for her fearless spirit and her love of the outdoors. She would often go on long hikes or runs through the dense forests surrounding their home, and occasionally, she'd forget to change into more conventional attire.
One sunny afternoon, as (Y/N) was about to head out for a run, Carlisle caught her at the door wearing only a sports bra and shorts. He raised an amused eyebrow, a fond smile playing on his lips.
"(Y/N), you promised," he teased, though there was a hint of concern in his eyes.
She chuckled and walked over to him, planting a soft kiss on his lips. "I know, I know. I'll put on a shirt when I get back, I promise."
Carlisle couldn't help but shake his head, both exasperated and enchanted by the fiery spirit of his mate. "Just be careful, my love."
As she bounded into the woods, (Y/N) couldn't help but feel grateful for the life she had found with Carlisle and the Cullens. They were her family now, and she cherished every moment with them. She knew that her unique habits might raise a few eyebrows, but she had no intention of changing who she was. After all, it was just one more way her bond with Carlisle remained as sizzling as ever.
1. The Morning Ritual :
Every morning, like clockwork, Carlisle would gently remind (Y/N) to put on a shirt before she left for her day. It had become their little routine, a loving and teasing exchange that began their day on a warm note.
2. The Hike :
One sunny weekend, (Y/N) decided to go on a hike with Rosalie and Emmett. As they set out on the trail, Carlisle couldn't help but shake his head and laugh, reminding her one more time to put on a shirt. She reluctantly agreed but ended up tying her shirt around her waist after the first mile.
3. The Family Gathering :
During a family gathering at their home, (Y/N) casually strolled into the living room in just a sports bra and shorts, prompting a chorus of raised eyebrows from the Cullens. Carlisle cleared his throat and whispered a reminder to her, causing her to blush and quickly fetch a shirt.
4. The Run to Town :
One day, (Y/N) decided to run into town for some supplies. Carlisle, noticing her attire, leaned in and reminded her with a playful smirk. She laughed and assured him she'd grab a shirt from the car, though she didn't see the point in town.
5. The Surprise Visit :
Alice had a tendency to surprise (Y/N) with impromptu visits. One such day, she burst into the house, only to find (Y/N) relaxing on the couch in her usual sports bra and shorts. Carlisle and Alice exchanged a knowing look, and Carlisle discreetly nudged his wife to put on a shirt.
6. The Midnight Craving :
Late one night, (Y/N) had an insatiable craving for ice cream. In her haste to get a bowl from the kitchen, she forgot to put on a shirt. As she scooped the ice cream, Carlisle entered the kitchen, chuckling softly, and gently reminded her. She blushed but shrugged it off, savoring her late-night treat.
7. The Family Football Game :
The Cullens decided to have a family football game in their backyard. (Y/N) was an enthusiastic participant, but her choice of attire, or lack thereof, raised a few eyebrows. Carlisle took her aside with a grin and whispered his familiar reminder. She laughed and grabbed a jersey this time, joining the game with even more energy.
And the One Time She Remembered To Wear One Herself :
It was a beautiful, sunny day, and (Y/N) decided to spend some quiet time in the garden. As she got up from her chair to tend to the flowers, she suddenly stopped in her tracks, realizing she was still wearing her shirt. With a triumphant grin, she slipped into her favorite gardening shirt and sunglasses, surprising Carlisle when she walked back into the house fully clothed. He beamed at her, impressed by her newfound initiative, and they shared a loving, shirt-wearing moment.
The night was calm, the moonlight spilling through the curtains and casting a gentle glow in the room. (Y/N) and Carlisle lay intertwined on their bed, cocooned in a sea of blankets. It was a rare moment of serenity for the couple, a precious oasis of peace in their immortal lives.
Carlisle, being a vampire, had long lost the capacity to feel cold or warmth in the way humans did. Yet, he cherished the sensation of (Y/N)'s warm skin against his own. Her body radiated heat, a constant reminder of her shifter nature, and he found himself drawn to it like a moth to a flame.
As they lay there, (Y/N) shifted closer to Carlisle, nuzzling her face against his chest. His cool skin provided a stark contrast to her warmth, and she relished the feeling of his arms around her. Even though he didn't feel cold, Carlisle embraced her with a gentle, protective hold, savoring the intimate connection they shared.
Her fingers traced soothing patterns on his skin, and he closed his eyes, reveling in the tranquility of the moment. They didn't need words to communicate; their closeness spoke volumes. It was a testament to their deep love and understanding of each other, a love that transcended the boundaries of their supernatural existences.
Carlisle pressed a soft kiss to (Y/N)'s forehead, his lips brushing against her skin. "You're my source of warmth, my love," he whispered, his voice a soft melody in the quiet room.
(Y/N) smiled against his chest, her heart swelling with affection. "And you're my eternal light in the darkness," she replied, her words a testament to the enduring bond they shared.
In the stillness of the night, they continued to cuddle, finding solace and contentment in the simple act of being together. For (Y/N) and Carlisle, their love was a beacon, a guiding star that illuminated the path of their immortal existence, and in each other's arms, they found their sanctuary.

imagine carlisle slow dancing with you. (gender neutral reader)
Tumblr media
You both had the house to yourselves, he had asked for everyone to leave so he was able to spend some time with you after you had some long hours at work. He had wanted to see you relaxed and happy after seeing you so stressed and drained, knowing it wasn't good for you. He's sensed and heard your heightened anxiety, and knew that quality time usually helped decrease some of it.
And you were thankful for it, as he cleared up the dinner he made you, doing the dishes as you sat at the island watching him, sipping on your drink of choice. He was glad to hear that your heart rate was lowering, wanting this evening you finally had off to be the one to relax you.
He finished up and he leaned on the island, facing you. He heard the change in music though, and walked over to you, holding out his hand. You gingerly took it, growing shy under the smile he was giving your way.
"This is one of my favorite songs. It makes me think of you." He whispered in your ear, as you both lightly sway across the living area. You smile, leaning into him, and kiss him lightly.
"Thank you Carlisle, for the lovely night in." You tell him, as you both finish up dancing to the song, wishing the night wouldn't end.

Christmas Miracle Come in Attractive Packages | Part 2
When the gala was finally over, and everyone was gone, (Y/N) looked for Carlisle Cullen once more. They had spent the time she had free talking and getting to know one another. As tension built between them, all she could think was how the night would end if he did wait for her,
She was sure he would have gone home by now, bored after hours of a lot of bureaucratic performances she had to do for the people that helped fund the organization.
But as she finally exited the doors into the freezing winter of New York, there he stood in all his splendor. In the midst of the white snow, his body and clothes blended into the scenery. He was as picturesque as the city.
“You waited,” she smiled catching up to him. “Thought you’d be home by now. It’s freezing out here.”
“Some things are worth the wait,” Carlisle responded, a grin stretching on his face. “Now, I don’t mean to sound too forward, but would you like to come over to my place? It’s very cold and my apartment is close by.”
“That sounds like a wonderful idea.” (Y/N) tried her best to sound confident. But the reality was, she couldn’t help but let her fears get the best of her.
She was inexperienced in all matters of personal relations. When everyone around her was experimenting from high school all the way to college, she’d never done anything. Instead, she spent her time trying to finish her studies so she could get started on her dream – the foundation. Then when she started on it, she had no time for socializing outside of work.
So, her love life had been on the back burner her whole life. And now that a man had seemingly taken interest in her, she was not sure how to proceed. Thankfully, she was a quick study.
Before she could notice, Carlisle was parking the car in the car park of a luxury apartment complex. He guided them inside, hitting the last level in the elevator. Just who was this man? Doctors made money, but this amount of riches definitely did not come from the hospital.
“Welcome to my home,” Carlisle said as he opened the door to a beautiful apartment.
It was a modern build, with sleek line architecture, tall ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows that gave him one of the best views in New York. It was a glaring juxtaposition to where she lived and could not believe this was how some people lived.
“It’s beautiful,” she breathed out, taking in the scenery. “Can’t believe this place is real.”
Carlisle turned on music, which startled (Y/N) around, her dress whooshing with her movement. Her clothing stood out amongst the white and black styling of the place, making her seem out of place and the perfect focal point in the space.
“I believe we never got a chance to dance,” he smiled, taking her arm and twirling her toward his body.
She collided against his chest, having to look up to meet his eyes. Carlisle led the dance, having them sway to a song that (Y/N) could barely register, too entranced by the man before him. She had never felt this drawn to anyone. Taking her time to know people was normally how she went about things, but something about Carlisle told her to jump headfirst into it.
As they gazed into each other’s eyes, they started to lean in, closing the small gap that was still between them.
“Wait,” (Y/N) stopped abruptly.
“Is everything alright?” Carlisle worried. “I don’t want to overstep.”
“Yes.. no… maybe,” she stammered nervously. “It’s just this is my first, uh, time…”
“What?” he chuckled. “First time going home with someone on the first date.”
“First time for everything actually,” she grimaced slightly. “I never had time nor interest in having a love life and before I knew it so much time had passed that I never had the chance to do… well, anything.”
“Well, that’s no problem.” He gave her a smile that instantly made her weak in the knees. “We won’t do anything you don’t feel comfortable doing.”
“That’s the thing,” she grinned. “Something about you makes me want to do… everything. I’m done putting my life on the back burner and I would love nothing more than to push forward with you.”
As they shared another smile, Carlisle place both of his hands gingerly on the side of her face and finally bent down, pressing a kiss on her lips.
That’s when she saw fireworks.
She could feel herself growing warm already, the knot in her stomach tightening promptly. (Y/N) knew the feeling perfectly. Just because she hadn’t done anything with another person didn’t mean she hadn’t explored that side on her own.
The kiss grew hungrier, with Carlisle taking the lead. He was gentle as his hands roamed down her body and settled onto her waist pulling her warm body flush to his ice-cold one. It had been a few years since he had engaged in any type of physical relations, and though he wasn’t inexperienced, he was ravenous.
He hadn’t planned to meet anyone in his time in Ithaca, much less a human. But (Y/N) had barreled into his life by pure chance. Had she not bumped into him whilst his brain was focused elsewhere, there was a big chance they would never have crossed paths.
Oh, but how glad he was that they did.
“Are you sure you want this?” Carlisle breathed, breaking the kiss first. “I want to make sure you are absolutely certain this is what you want.”
“It is, Carlisle,” she responded. “I’ve never been this sure of anything before.”
“Then, if at any moment you want to stop, just say the word and we’ll stop.”
“Take me, Carlisle,” she mewled in his ear. “I’m all yours.”
The words surprised (Y/N) as they came out, but they ignited something inside Carlisle. He brought his mouth to hers once more, taking his time to devour her mouth. She was bringing the animal in him that lay dormant. And though he normally hungered for blood, this night he was going to feast in something more primal. He was going to show (Y/N) what she had been missing.
Their movements were fluid, almost choreographed. Their hands ran across their clothed bodies, learning every corner with their hands.
When Carlisle felt satisfied with her mouth, his lips traveled down. He kissed her cheek, down her jaw, and started work on her neck. He kissed and kissed until he found a spot that made her moan loudly. With a grin growing on his lips, he nipped at the spot siphoning new sounds from (Y/N)’s mouth.
She could feel herself growing warmer, wetter. Her hands gripped onto his hair, pulling on the blond locks of his hair. This let out a growl from Carlisle’s throat, making him bite softly on the areas he was enjoying — never enough to draw blood, just hard enough that it was a temptation.
“That’s gonna leave a mark in the morning,” she chuckled, slightly out of breath.
“That’s the idea,” he grinned mischievously. “I want everyone to know what will happen here tonight.”
“Then, what’re we waiting for? Let’s move this to the bedroom.”
Carlisle’s eyes darkened, lust glazing them over. They fumbled backward together, connected through their lips and their hands not working fast enough to get their clothes off their bodies. They stumbled through every step, (Y/N)’s dress getting tangled between their feet and they walked the long hallways trying to not spend even a second apart.
“This isn’t working,” Carlisle chuckled. “Come here.”
Swiftly, he snaked one hand under her legs and the other on the small of her back. A gleeful shriek escaped her as she wrapped her arms around his neck. He wanted nothing more than to speed them over to the bedroom and get her on his bed so he could ravish her body as if it was his last meal. But he would scare her before he could do so. That meant he had to walk as fast as he could, and that’s what he did.
Carlisle pushed opened his bedroom door with his foot, crossing them through the threshold. He set her down gently as (Y/N) pushed the door closed after. He pressed her front softly against the door, his lips connecting to her skin, and he slid the zipper of her dress down.
As his hand pulled the zipper agonizingly slowly, he kissed from her neck to her shoulders, to her exposed shoulder blades. Every piece of skin he could find he would kiss or nip, smiling as he noted some start their process of bruising. Every mark was a testament to what he had done, of what she had allowed him to do.
The red fabric pooled at her feet, exposing her bare back and the black lace underwear she had chosen to wear. Instinctively, she covered her breasts. A red hue fell over her entire body in embarrassment. But Carlisle took her arms in his, turning her around and placing another kiss on her lips.
“Don’t hide yourself, (Y/N),” he whispered into her ear. “I want to see you. I want to see all of you.”
He looked at her with admiration and hunger, so much hunger. His eyes studied the curve of her breasts, the dip of her hips, the length of her legs — she was a sight to behold. Every single part of her body was perfect to him. From the freckles to the blemishes to the scars.
He had seen perfection in vampires, marble-like skin that could hold no flaw. Still, there was something about human beauty that he found precious. Immortal beauty would never compare to the transitional beauty of human beings. It was transcendental.
“You’re gorgeous,” he said as he looked her over. “Perfect.”
“Well,” she grinned. “I wouldn’t want you to feel left out, so how about we start with you?”
(Y/N) went for his tie first, pulling it until it joined her dress on the floor. Then she unbuttoned his shirt, ever so slowly, teasing him slightly. But it was backfiring. As she worked to build his desire, hers grew as well, along with desperation. His clothes could not be off him fast enough for her. She wanted him, and she wanted him now.
Once she reached the last button, she pushed the shirt and the blazer off his shoulders to reveal his bare chest. (Y/N) ran her hands through his pecs and down his arms, feeling the smooth valley of his skin. Not only did he look like a perfect marble statue, he felt like one. Carlisle was as smooth, cold, and as hard as stone — enchanting and beautiful. It took everything in her to not continue to gawk at his body. His mouth on hers helped.
Carlisle guided them to the bed, laying her gently onto the massive piece of furniture. The duvet felt cold against (Y/N)’s skin – nowhere as cold as Carlisle – and her body erupted in goosebumps. But the coldness was quickly replaced by the warm knot forming in the pit of her stomach as the man slid her panties off her body.
Never breaking eye contact, Carlisle pulled the piece of fabric down her thighs, her knees, her calves, her ankles, and finally her feet. In the shining light of the full moon that seeped through the windows, he could see her wetness glistening. She was drenched and he could smell her arousal since they had gotten to the apartment. Now that he had her right in front of him, he needed to devour her.
“Let me know if this gets too much, (Y/N),” Carlisle said, sucking in a breath. “Remember, if at any point...”
“I promise I’ll let you know,” (Y/N) somehow managed to breathe out through her panting. “Just touch me please.”
Without a second thought, Carlisle’s tongue lapped her slit, running from her entrance and ending on the sensitive bud that lived at the top. This took (Y/N)’s breath out of her lungs. An overwhelming feeling of pleasure ransacked through her body, arching in tandem.
But that simple touch could not compare to when Carlisle started his ministrations on her clit. His tongue circled, his mouth sucked, and his throat vibrated. That was enough to have her nearing that so-awaited for peak that would have her clutching at the sheets. Yet, Carlisle introduced a finger into her wet entrance and that sent her onto another plane.
“Whatever you’re doing,” she moaned. “Don’t you dare stop.”
“I wasn’t planning on it.”
He responded pressed against her, his voice sending shock waves through her body. He was feasting, and like a good boy, he would devour his whole meal. It helped that it was so beautifully presented.
With a masterful tongue, Carlisle continued his attack on the needy mound as his fingers – two more already added for preparation – pistoned into her at an inhuman speed. But what had her moaning and writhing, was how he curled those fingers to press on her most sensitive spot from the inside.
She could feel the crescendo of her climax reaching its peak. Her walls clenched around Carlisle’s fingers, her body feeling fuller than it had ever been. There was only so much she could do with her own fingers. But this man somehow knew just how to coax out her orgasm better than she ever could. His mouth and his digits worked in perfect symphony until they had her yelling out his name.
(Y/N) was sure she was seeing stars. As her cunt wept in pleasure, her brain could barely process what had happened. Se believed she had been able to orgasm when she divulged in alone time, but it had never felt like this. Nothing (Y/N) had done to herself had her legs shaking or had her lungs devoid of oxygen. This experience was simply unparalleled.
As she recuperated from the assault, (Y/N) watched with newly growing warmth as Carlisle licked her arousal from his fingers, savoring it as if it was his last meal. It was just the thing to have her ready for the next round.
Carlisle towered above her, kissing her deeply. As his tongue explored her mouth, she explored her own taste on his tongue, making her wetness start pooling once more. Her hands traveled down his body, one of them landing on the button of his pants as the other palmed at his stone-hard bulge.
(Y/N) gawked as she finally freed his hard-on from his pants, astonished by the mere size of it. She was sure it would never fit – then again, how would she have ever known? But in her astonishment, (Y/N) found herself lowering her head, ready to at least make it fit in one entrance at a time.
Carlisle stopped her.
“Tonight is all about you,” he whispered. “We can delve into other things at a letter time. But right now, I need to be inside you.”
“Then what are you waiting for?” (Y/N) purred with newfound confidence. “My cunt is begging to be filled.”
The words surprised the woman as they rolled off her tongue. She had no idea where they were coming from or how she had the gall to say them. But it was how she was feeling and it was what her body was yearning for.
Carlisle’s smile contorted into a devilish grin as he lined himself with her entrance. He used the pool of her core to slather his shaft and pumped himself three times to get himself ready for her.
First, his head breached her, starting the stretch. It felt nothing like when he entered her with his fingers. And though it was just a tad painful, she was quickly growing to love the feeling. As his cock continued to slide into he, (Y/N) felt her breath leave her lungs. Once his hips hit hers, she felt completely full and stretched.
“Are you okay?” Carlisle asked seemingly out of breath as well. “Let me know when you feel comfortable for me to move.”
“Just give me a sec,” she exhaled deeply. Growing used to the feeling did not take long. The stinging pain shifted quickly into yearning pleasure. At first, it was too much, but now it was not enough. “You can move now, please. I need you to move.”
He was slow at first, moving his hips softly into her. But he knew he could not last long. From her scent to her tightness, Carlisle felt himself nearing his end. Though restraint was something he excelled at, something about (Y/N) made his inhibitions fall. It made him feel like a newborn once more – the lowest level of self-control.
As his pace turned faster, (Y/N)’s voice could only make out moans, groans, and pants. It was a feeling like no other, and it was a great one. The knot that had formed at the pit of her stomach tightened as he continued his calculated attack.
“I-I’m close,” she mumbled out.
“So am I, darling.”
He pummeled into her even faster now. His tip hit her g-spot with every single stroke. As he did, (Y/N)’s grip on Carlisle’s hips tightened, pushing him into her deeper and deeper. She was chasing her second orgasm of the night in what she found was her favorite way.
Until he used his thumb to stimulate her clit. (Y/N) yelled out at the attack. Her eyes closed and her back arched off the bed. He rolled the small bud over and over, his fingers somehow matching the speed of his hips.
It was only a couple of thrusts more before they were both screaming out each other’s names. (Y/N) felt Carlisle’s release mixed with hers, coating her walls with his seed. It was reckless, but it felt right at that moment.
Carlisle slipped out of her and climbed beside her on the bed, cradling her body close to his as she panted. He could tell she was exhausted. (Y/N) slumped against him, too tired to do anything else.
Her mind was hazy from everything they did, and although she wanted more, her body was overcome with exhaustion. (Y/N) thought she would have built up stamina, that she would be able to go all night and enjoy this man for as much as she could. But she had not anticipated how much energy she would drain by getting two leg-shaking orgasms one right after the other.
“So,” Carlisle said into her hair. (Y/N)’s head was laid on his chest, his hand drawing shapes on her bare back. “How was your first time?”
(Y/N) stared at him through her lashes, transfixed at how the moonlight hit his perfect features. “It was more than I could have ever imagined,” she said. “You’re more than I had ever imagined.”
“What do you mean?” he chuckled. “Do not tell me you had not planned to have your first time with a man you barely know.”
“Obviously I didn’t,” she laughed. “But I wouldn’t trade this for the world. I, uh, I hope this wasn’t a one-off. I would like to see you again… and many times after that.”
“I could never let you go now. Not after all that,” Carlisle smiled down at her. “I would certainly enjoy continuing this wonderful adventure. In fact, if you’re up for it, why don’t we go out for breakfast in the morning?”
“I would love nothing more.”
Carlisle met her in another soft kiss. This one wasn’t hungry or ravenously passionate. It was full of promise, full of future expectations. It was a kiss that told her he wanted to know everything about her, to someday bring her into his life – although explaining his supernatural situation could prove rather tricky.
For her, it was a kiss that solidified her Christmas miracle. She was meant to meet this man. She was meant to go home with him. She was meant to be here, on his bed, in his arms. Carlisle was the miracle she had always waited for.

WHEN I WAS YOUR MAN (B)
(PART TWO (B) OF WHEN I WAS YOUR MAN (A) (“SO I CAN HAVE YOU BACK” SERIES))
⚠️WARNING⚠️: I mean… not really, maybe some violence because vampires need to eat and that… I guess sadness and long-ass descriptions also count… maybe
A/N: Hi there, it's been a while, haha.... So... Please remember that English isn't my first language, that I haven't been active for months and that I'm a tired college graduate. Thank you. ♥️ Hope you enjoy this crazy thing. That you forgive my spelling and grammatical mistakes, and that you can leave a heart or comment on your way out.
PART 1 - PART 2 - PART 3 - PART 4
It all just sounds like ooh, ooh, ooh, hoo
Mm, too young, too dumb to realize
That I should have bought you flowers
And held your hand
Should have gave you all my hours
When I had the chance
Take you to every party 'cause all you wanted to do was dance
If you had to explain the meeting with the kings in just a couple of words, those would be: unexpected and confusing. Of course, this would be simplifying the meeting in a way that is almost insulting, but what could you do about it? It wasn’t like you could put all your feelings in words and expect everybody to understand what you were trying to express. Still, unexpected and confusing could be the best choice of words, even if they were quite poor.
First of all, the kings were quite charming.
That wasn't surprising, after all, they needed to have a certain charm in themselves to be able to rule over all the vampires in the world. Since, it didn't matter how strong they were, if all the vampires decided that the Volturi didn’t deserve their power, they would be able to dethrone them. So, they were charming in a way that made you want to follow them.
Their words seemed to be carefully united in sentences meant for you to want to be with them while fearing the idea of disappointing them. Even Caius, the most ruthless and rude of the three had a certain charm to him that you couldn’t help but want to see more. Marcus was sad, that was quite obvious, apathy was a horrible and depressing sickness of which the king seemed to be a victim. Still, he was like a calm force that made you feel like you were alone in the middle of a forest far away from all human life, without the weight of the expectations that are tied to your mere existence.
King Aro was another thing completely.
First of all, he was gorgeous. His black hair was bright and framed a perfect angular and gorgeous face, his height and body were so symmetrical that they made you want to cry. His eyes shone with the playfulness and mischief of a man that has a kid’s soul… All of those traits should make you fall for him, should make you want to bend over your back to please him and to make his wishes come true but… Those beautifully perfect traits only made you want to hide and avoid being in his sight.
He was so breathtaking that you knew that he could use and would use this as a weapon to get what he wanted no matter what. He was dangerous in a way that was pulling. It was like seeing a lion or a tiger, grand beasts, alluring and charming in a way that made you want to walk towards them and caress their magnificent coat, but dangerous in a way that you knew that as soon as you were close enough to them, you would be killed in a horrendous way.
Of course, Aro knew your thoughts and at some point even your feelings, but luckily for you, he was mostly flattered by them. After all, he knew that you respected them and their way of ruling. Also, the fact that you were Carlisle’s mate was a plus for them, Carlisle was your friend and if you were his mate -even when being too good for him- then they would treat you with the same care as they treated their old friend.
The weight of the moment was not lost on you as you stood before the Volturi, their powerful presence enveloping the grand throne room. Aro's warm and soothing tone resonated in your ears as he acknowledged your loyalty and the significance of your connection with Carlisle.
The mention of being Carlisle's mate had its own impact. It was both a validation and a reminder of the complexities of relationships, even among immortals. The Volturi, with their keen insight into the minds and hearts of others, understood the depth of your feelings and the conflict you had experienced. But rather than judgment, they responded with an unexpected and welcoming acceptance.
"Oh, you lost lamb," Aro's voice resonated through the grand throne room, laced with a mixture of sympathy and disappointment. His words carried a weighty truth, causing you to pause and reflect on the nature of your relationship with Carlisle. "A mate is a gift for our lonely existences. It's quite disappointing to see our dear friend acting like a foolish human, moved by sentiment and doubts when the world gifted you to him to accompany his days and nights."
As Aro spoke, his warm tone enveloped you, offering a semblance of comfort. His hand gently caressed your cold skin, the touch reminiscent of a father soothing a distraught child. For a brief moment, you closed your eyes, feeling the venom gathering within your eyes, a testament to the intense emotions stirring within. However, despite the overwhelming surge of emotions, you refused to succumb to tears. You had grown weary of being relegated to second place, undeserving of the love and recognition you craved.
In that moment, you resolved to forge your own path, to find happiness on your own terms. The words spoken by Aro reverberated in your mind, causing a newfound strength to surge within. You knew you deserved more than being treated as a secondary choice. The realization dawned upon you, illuminating a path toward self-discovery and embracing the love that awaited you.
With a renewed determination, you opened your eyes, meeting Aro's gaze squarely. The red hue of his irises pierced through your soul, acknowledging the fire that burned within you. You had come to Volterra seeking solace and answers, and now you found yourself entangled in the intricate web of vampire politics and profound connections.
In this grand throne room, where the fate of many was determined, you were offered a glimpse of a different future—one that held promises of love, power, and belonging. Aro's words, though steeped in disappointment, held a glimmer of opportunity. They resonated deep within you, stirring an unwavering resolve to embrace the life you truly deserved.
“Aro…” Marcus said in a whisper, breaking your train of thoughts and bringing you back to the current moment. Still, his voice was quite strong and deep in the middle of the silent throne room. Aro pulled away from you and in a blink of an eye, he was by his brother’s side. His hands were touching Marcus’ offered limb with the eagerness of a child that was in on a secret that nobody else could know. As soon as he finish watching what the other king was trying to show, he let out an elated giggle, looking at you and at Nikolas with bright and playful eyes. The red in Marcus’ and Aro’s orbs went directly through your soul.
“My kings?” Nikolas asked, looking at the three vampires sitting on their thrones. Caius, unlike other times, looked quite interested in your presence. It was clear that he was curious, but… why?
“My dear brother has seen something quite interesting between you two…” Aro said while walking back towards where you were standing. “It’s almost impossible to find your mate, but to find your true mate, the one that is made for you no matter what, after being rejected by one of the possible mates in this world? That is priceless, never been heard of and now… now we are able to see it happening right in front of our eyes… That’s truly marvellous…” The long-haired king let out with an elated and mischievous tone of voice.
You looked directly and Nikolas, unable to explain how you felt over this development but also knowing that in the middle of the storm of emotions, part of it was pure happiness. After all, you weren’t alone. You wouldn’t be a second choice, not for this gorgeous creature in front of you. Nikolas put his hands over your cheeks and showed a charming and caring smile that only confirmed your thoughts. You really were the only one for him.
“Child… What’s your gift?” Caius asked in a cold and a bit rude tone of voice, looking at the interaction without any care for the lovely dovely feeling that surrounded you and your just-found mate.
“Oh, brother… must you interrupt this moment? Dear (y/n) over here, is a mirror, a magnificent mirror capable of coping, whipping back, or stopping another vampire’s gifts… Surely, he can become a fabulous addition to our guard… a powerful vampire willing to do anything to maintain the peace we are so used to and willing to eliminate or neutralize any threat against his beloved…” Aro said with a smirk while looking at you.
You wouldn’t doubt it, not for a second. Your eyes shone with the possibility of staying in Volterra, with the idea of being part of one of the most powerful clans in the world, with the idea of helping and being appreciated while also being able to stay with your mate, to get to know the gorgeous creature that life sent for you.
“Of course, my kings… I would be honoured to serve and protect…” You said while vowing in front of them, before lifting your head and looking at the three governors. While doing so, your eyes managed to catch three powerful and charismatic smiles.
Now my baby's dancing
But she's dancing with another man
After your initial introduction to the Volturi kings and your acceptance of the prestigious position within their guard, it didn't take long for you to integrate yourself into the group of vampires that lived in the fortress. The grand halls of Volterra became your new home, and the enigmatic Volturi guard became your family.
The first encounters were with Demetri and Felix, the two, even if they acted like dorks most of the time, were actually quite formidable vampires who possessed both strength and skill that matched their intimidating presence. Of course, you knew that their appareance was just a mask, since as you spent more time with them, their rough exteriors and stoic expressions gave way to camaraderie, mutual respect and playful and caring bond that made you think of two older brothers that would prank you and protect you when necessary. You found common ground in your shared duties and the pursuit of safeguarding the Volturi's reign. Demetri's astute tracking abilities and Felix's unwavering loyalty became traits you admired and found solace in, knowing they would have your back no matter what.
Alec, a cold, stoic but loyal member of the guard, caught your attention with his unwavering devotion to the Volturi kings. There was an air of innocence about him, reminiscent of a young child in awe of their parents. His admiration for Aro and the others was palpable, and it painted a picture of pure loyalty and dedication to his duty and his masters. The more time you spend with him, the more you noticed how underneath his seemingly stoic exterior, there was a young vampire who yearned for guidance and approval, and you found yourself drawn to his endearing nature, wanting to comfort him.
Jane, the other youngest member of the guard -with her brother-, presented a unique challenge. Her rough edges and seemingly unyielding demeanour were a result of a past that had not offered her the kindness she deserved. As you observed her, same as with her brother, you sensed a need for guidance and compassion, the need for someone who could teach her the beauty of empathy and gentleness. With patience and understanding, you slowly broke through her defences, earning her trust and acceptance. It was a testament to your character and the genuine connections you forged within the guard.
The rest of the Volturi guard, comprising various vampires with their own unique gifts and histories, embraced your presence without hesitation. Their acceptance was solidified by the kings themselves, who had extended their open arms and entrusted you with the responsibility of protecting their dynasty. Your own gift, like Aro had explained in your first meeting, was quite unique and interesting, and it also made you an invaluable asset to the guard's arsenal.
But perhaps what solidified your place among the Volturi guard was the bond that had formed between you and Nikolas. The strength of your connection as mates was evident to all, and something that had not gone unnoticed by the guard. Nikolas, the captivating and powerful vampire with a charming smile and a fierce devotion to those he cared about, had taken a liking to you. His fondness for you only further cemented your acceptance within the guard, as nobody would dare provoke his wrath. After all, Nikolas was one of the strongest vampires in the whole guard, being considered an unbreakble shield for so long.
With each passing day, your role within the Volturi guard became more entrenched. You found solace in the shared purpose and the unspoken bond that tied you to these vampires. The tasks, training and work that they gave you helped you forget about your past life. Nikolas also helped. Your gorgeous mate, with his pale skin, strong physique, and dark hair that framed his unnaturally perfect face, possessed an irresistible charm that left a lasting impression. His captivating smile and alluring italian accent only added to his appeal, making him a figure of intrigue and magnetism within the Volturi guard. Sure, all the vampires were perfect, but meanwhile some didn’t look like they were meant to be considered in the group of unnatural beauty and magnetism, Nikolas was different. He had such an appearance that it made you think that even as a human, he would be considered superior among his peers.
When you and Nikolas first crossed paths, the connection was immediate and undeniable. Of course that as mates, you wanted to be together. But while your instincts screamed for you to claim the other vampire as yours, your heart and mind was still healing from the pain that your relationship with Carlisle had left you. Nikolas was really kind and understood perfectly your doubts and fears. He, recognizing that you were still healing from your previous relationship with Carlisle, decided to proporse that you began your relationship as friends, taking the time to explore and nurture the blossoming bond between you.
During this time, the gardens of Volterra became your sanctuary, a tranquil haven where you two had found solace in each other's company. Nikolas and you would often spend hours in the middle of the vibrant flora, basking in the warm sunlight that filtered through the leaves that hid your shinning bodies. You would read together or to one another, your voices intertwining with the rustling of pages, as you delved into literature that sparked your curiosity and ignited your imaginations.
Long conversations became the foundation of your friendship. Those were the moments that helped you understand that Nikolas wasn’t only following his instincts. No, unlike Carlisle, he truly seemed to want to be around you. This allowed you to share your hopes, dreams, and even your fears with Nikolas. In return, he did the same, confessing his different thoughts and feelings in those afternoons hidden between the flowers of the garden. As the both of you opened up to one another, your connection deepened, each revelation strengthening the trust that you had cultivated with each other. You would speak of your gift, talking about the advantages and problems that it created for you, while Nikolas would tell you the tales of his immense strength and extraordinary tracking ability.
Thanks to this interactions and moments together your friendship began to evolve, as stolen glances turned into lingering touches, and laughter filled the air whenever you were together. The chemistry between you was palpable, an undercurrent of desire simmering beneath the growing affection that bathed your exchanges. Yet, considering the time together and the need for reassurance, you two cherished the foundation you had built, unwilling to rush into something more before both of you were ready for a romantic connection.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, as your friendship continued to flourish, to grow and get stronger. During this times, you found solace in each other's presence, a sense of belonging that you both had searched for so many years. Through shared adventures and quiet moments of vulnerability, you discovered a love that was both gentle and fierce, nurturing the deepest corners of your souls. It was like that, between conversations and soft touches that you confessed and accepted Nikolas’ proposal to continue your time together as lovers.
Although it hurts
I'll be the first to say that I was wrong
Oh, I know I'm probably much too late
To try and apologize for my mistakes
But I just want you to know
As the moon cast its gentle glow upon the room, you found yourself lying in bed with Nikolas, this was the first time sharing a bed with your mate. The first time you decided to open yourself to him and to let the other vampire touch you in ways that only Carlisle had done before. Still, you weren’t scared and you didn’t have any doubts, your bodies close and your hearts filled with the fluttering excitement of newfound love. The coolness of your skin against each other only heightened the sensations, soft touches with such strong bodies, as you explored the depths of intimacy and romance.
Nikolas's eyes, filled with adoration and tenderness, met yours, and a soft smile played upon his lips. It was a look that spoke volumes, conveying the depth of his feelings without uttering a single word or even making a noise. You didn’t need it, the way he was looking at you, the way his fingers and lips touched your skin, his actions spoke more than any word in the world could say. At that moment, you knew that you were both embarking on a journey of love and connection, unlike anything you had experienced before… and even if you didn’t have any doubts, to begin with, this sensation only reassured you even more that you were making the right decision by letting him embrace you in his bed.
Drawing you into his embrace, Nikolas's touch was gentle and almost reverent, his fingers tracing delicate patterns along your cheek, going down your neck and chest. Every caress, every brush of his lips against your skin, ignited a warmth within you that surpassed the absence of mortal warmth. You knew that if you were humans, your skin would feel as hot as an open fire. His love and his actions were something that transcended physicality. This was a bond worthy of being considered a soulmate, a bond that didn’t stay in the instinct part of things, that didn’t support itself in empty words and promises. No, this was a type of love that was delving into the realms of the soul.
Leaning in, his lips met yours in a tender kiss, filled with a sweet longing and a desire to convey all the emotions that words couldn't express. It was a moment of vulnerability and trust, where the barriers between you crumbled, and you were left basking in the pure connection that blossomed between your hearts. As your bodies moved in sync, exploring the contours of each other with a tenderness that defied the coolness of your vampire nature, a symphony of whispered endearments and soft sighs filled the air. Every touch, every caress, was an affirmation of the love that was blooming between you, like a delicate flower unfurling its petals.
Wrapped in each other's arms, time seemed to stand still, it was as if someone had frozen you in a picture, away from the rest of the world, allowing you to savour the sweetness of this deep and caring love. There were no worries or doubts, only the purity of the present moment, where you both discovered the beauty of intimacy and affection that surpassed mortal understanding. You couldn’t think of anything else, only his touches on your skin, his words being whispered in your ears, and his body so close to yours.
You could feel his arms around your waist, the way his fingers caressed the exposed skin and the way he breathed your scent. You knew this was on purpose, you knew he didn’t need to breathe at all, he only wanted to feel your scent close to him. He wanted to know that you trusted so much that you were willing to bare your neck and your body to him. That was the thing that made it so special.
With every breath, you could sense the mingling of your scents—his uniquely masculine aroma blending with the delicate hints of your own fragrance. It was a primal and intoxicating combination, a fusion of identities that marked the merging of two souls deeply entwined in love and desire. The subtle nuances of his scent enveloped you, filling your senses and creating an indelible imprint of his presence within you.
He was also smelling you, taking your scent in and staying close to your skin as if he was trying to imprint it in his memory. Carlisle never did that for too long. His moments with you were brief and just to fill his necessity of being close to his mate, unlike the moments spent with Nikolas. Your gorgeous mate made sure to show you how much he wanted to be with you, how much he trusted you and needed you in his life.
Of course, the fact that you two felt so strongly for each other, and the fact that you were mates didn’t make any sense. After all, how could you have Nikolas as your mate while also having Carlisle as another mate? That didn’t make sense, even the kings were confused by this… but you didn’t care, nobody cared about it. It was almost like a miracle in your awfully lonely lives. So you decided to not pay attention to it.
Even if you knew that since you had a second mate, this meant that Nikolas probably also had a second mate… so this could be a risk, this could mean that the other vampire would eventually find his second mate and would have to make the choice to stay or leave you. Still, the idea of being loved -even with the uncertainty of the future- was so amazing that you wanted to ignore the real world at least for a little bit. You wanted to ignore the fact that Carlisle was out there, with his wife and children, not caring for one bit that you ran away, you wanted to ignore the possibility of Nikolas’ other mate running around wanting to find him, you wanted to ignore all the duty and responsibilities that the two of you had with your guard and your kings. You just wanted to stay in this blessed moment of warmth and silence while being in the arms of this creature that loved you with all his being.
The weight of your vampire nature, with its coolness and lack of heartbeat, seemed inconsequential in this moment of shared vulnerability and intimacy. In Nikolas's arms, you found a haven where the frigid reality of your existence melted away, replaced by the warmth of his touch and the intensity of your emotional connection. It was a testament to the power of love, transcending the limitations of your immortal forms and allowing you to experience a depth of intimacy that surpassed anything you had known before.
In this space, where only you and he were in each other embrace, time seemed to stand still. The concerns and obligations that burdened your minds were eclipsed by the all-consuming passion and affection that flowed between you. Each stolen kiss, every whispered word, was an affirmation of the profound connection you shared—an unspoken promise to explore the depths of love and desire that awaited you. As your bodies melded together, the limits between you blurred until they disappeared completely, and you became lost in the intoxicating dance of passion, letting yourself go and relish in your time together as mates. The flow of your movements mirrored the cadence of your souls, entwined in a rhythm that defied mortal comprehension. It was a symphony of sensations, impossible to be explained by simple words, an intimate conversation between two hearts discovering the boundless depths of what could be considered true love for the first time in their inmortal lives.
I hope he buys you flowers
I hope he holds your hand
Give you all his hours
When he has the chance
Take you to every party
'Cause I remember how much you loved to dance
Do all the things I should have done
When I was your man
Do all the things I should have done
When I was your man
In the forest near the Cullen house, the air was thick with tension as you, now standing as one of the vampires representing the Volturi, came face to face with Carlisle. Years had passed since you last had any contact with him, and many other things, you were able to love someone else, have new friends, you learned and gained years of experience that made you wiser than before. Gone was the little vampire that only believed in instinct and that believed that everything could be perfect with someone by your side. You were stronger, smarter and even if you were in love with your gorgeous Nikolas, you weren’t naive enough to think that nobody would try to break you apart. You trusted your partner, but you weren’t going to let someone try to come between you. Still, seeing him in front of you, looking exactly like the last time you saw each other, made the wounds from the past open a bit.
As you and Carlisle locked eyes, a mixture of emotions swirled within you. Anger, hurt, and a lingering sense of betrayal coursed through your veins. You were over him, you didn’t want him back and you wouldn’t leave Nikolas for that poor excuse of a vampire that couldn’t follow the most basic of all rules. Still, the memories of how Carlisle had treated you, the way he had disregarded your feelings and mistreated you, still haunted your thoughts from time to time, and seeing him again, only opened a wound.
For a moment you cursed the time you accepted to follow Orion’s orders and come to Forks. The moment you decided to act like his representative and come to deal with the newborn problem. Still, how could you deny him? Your heart ached with the similarities between your stories and with the fact that your pasts had the same villains in them.
You could still remember the way that in the grand halls of the Volturi fortress, amidst the opulent architecture, the whispers of immortal beings could be heard. All of the members of the guard that were able to be present talked about the fated reunion between the kings and their mates. You could say that, as the enigmatic and captivating mate of the Volturi kings, Orion's arrival in the castle marked a moment of significance and anticipation.
You weren’t surprised by the guards' reaction. After all, as soon as you saw Orion, you understood why the kings were so fond of the vampire that ran away from the Cullen clan. Orion, with his ethereal beauty and regal presence, commanded attention and respect from all who laid eyes upon him. It almost felt like beauty was his gift, but no. His gift was a more dangerous one, a power that you couldn’t begin to understand. His arrival in the Volturi stronghold was met with a mixture of curiosity and reverence. After all, his presence in the castle signified a union of power and love, an unbreakable bond that transcended the bounds of immortality.
When the kings introduced you to Orion, you couldn’t help but smile, it was like a silent reassurance of a forming bond between you happening at the exact moment your eyes met. As Orion's gaze met yours for the first time, a connection sparked between you, forged by shared purpose and unspoken understanding and friendship. At that moment, you saw the weight of responsibility he carried, the sacrifices he had made for the sake of love and loyalty. There was a vulnerability in his eyes, a silent plea for acceptance and support, which you pledged to provide without hesitation. You looked at him and couldn’t help but be sympathetic to his life and history. It was at that moment that you decided to be not only his guard and protector but also be a friend, a confidant when he needed and maybe even some kind of brother.
Aro introduced you to Orion and you could feel how the weight of his words hung in the air. You knew that you were important in Volterra, but to be considered as strong as necessary to be part of the personal guard of your king’s mate? That was reassuring. Your king has affirmed the significance of your role in the castle and you couldn’t help but answer with your actions, body moving on his own and making you vow your head with pride, your eyes never leaving Orion’s. It was a promise, a silent commitment to protect and help the future governor of your coven.
As a member of the guard, you stood at the forefront, ready to protect and serve Orion with unwavering loyalty. Your role as his guardian was not merely a duty; it was a testament to the trust and affection that had been bestowed upon you. Your purpose was to ensure his safety and well-being, standing as a shield against any threat that dared to challenge the sanctity of his presence.
Carlisle took a hesitant step forward, pulling you away from your memories. He looked directly at you with a pained expression on his face and his voice filled with regret. "(y/n), I cannot express how deeply sorry I am for the way I made you feel… You must believe me… I realize now the mistakes I made, and I understand the pain I caused you… But you don’t know how long I searched for you… Please, come back… let me make it right. Stay with us, with my family. I want to make amends… I want to prove that I can be the mate you deserve… Esme and I aren’t together anymore, after you left… nothing was the same."
You listened, your guard still up, your heart burdened by the weight of past wounds. Carlisle's words stirred a mix of emotions within you, and for a moment, you contemplated the possibility of forgiveness… You would never go back to him, not in a million years. You had Nikolas and you would never leave the gorgeous mate that the world had gifted you, but still… You considered the idea of having a friendship with him, an understanding of sorts… Of course, these thoughts disappeared the moment you remember the feelings of abandonment and the sensations of being always considered second place in the blonde’s heart… it was then that the raw pain resurfaced, and you found the strength to voice your distress.
"Carlisle, it's too late," you replied, your voice tinged with sorrow and bitterness. "You had countless opportunities to treat me with respect and kindness, to be the partner I deserved… the mate you were supposed to be… But instead, you turned your back on me, treating me as though I was insignificant…”
Regret and anguish etched themselves onto Carlisle's face as he realized the gravity of his actions. He reached out, his hand trembling slightly as if hoping to bridge the emotional chasm that had formed between you. “(y/n)... please… I can be better, come back to me… you know I can be better…” He said, almost in a whisper with a shaky tone of voice. Still, in the silence of the forest, his voice sounded so loud.
You let out a sigh, looking at him with a tired and bitter expression on your face. “I always came last, I was always the one left alone… You only care right now because you don’t have me by your side but… You don’t want me back because of love, but because of a weird sense of duty…"
 "I understand that I failed you, and I can't change the past. But I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make amends, to prove to you that I've learned from my mistakes… Give me a chance…" Carlisle said, eyes shining and you knew… you were absolutely sure that if he could, he would cry.
A bitter chuckle escaped your lips, laced with a mix of sadness and disbelief. "Carlisle, you don't understand… do you? You had your chance, in fact… you had multiple chances of proving to me that you wanted me in your life, that you wanted to try to have a real relationship with me and not the lie that we were living for so many months… and you threw it away. You decided to spit on the universe's face by treating your mate poorly, and now, I have found someone else… and he… He loves me like there's nothing else in the world, and I know that he would never betray me."
Carlisle's expression turned crestfallen as your words sank in. It was obvious that he didn’t expect you to love someone else, but… what did he think was going to happen? Even when heartbroken, you were gorgeous, an unreal beauty that even vampires could see as unique…
The weight of your words hung heavy in the air, each syllable a testament to the pain you had endured. Carlisle's gaze met yours, filled with remorse and regret. "I can't change what I've done, but I want to make things right. Please, give me the chance to prove that I have changed, that I am capable of being the partner you deserve."
This insistence, his useless intents to make you go back to him were starting to be annoying for you, something quite obvious thanks to the mixture of irritation and resignation coloured your voice as you responded, "God, understand that it's too late. You had your chance, and you lost it, in fact, you threw it away like it was nothing… I have moved on, and I have found someone who values me and cherishes me without reservation. I deserve that love, and I won't settle for less."
A profound silence descended upon the forest, the weight of unspoken words hanging in the air. You took a step back, your voice softening with a hint of sadness. "I wish you well, Carlisle, but my place is no longer by your side. We weren’t the right ones for each other… I don’t know who is for you but… I was able to find my soulmate and I have chosen my own happiness… Move on, Carlisle, because I will never look back…"
With those words, you turned and began to walk away, each step a testament to your strength and self-preservation. Carlisle stood there, his heart heavy with the knowledge of his mistakes and the pain he had caused. As he watched you disappear into the distance, he couldn't help but feel a deep sense of loss, knowing that he had let go of something precious. He had everything and because of his stupid old ways and his lack of consideration, he lost the most wonderful thing the world had given him in his miserable life.

Soon You’ll get better (Cause you have to)
Tw: mentions of cancer, vampires, my writing
Tumblr media
Pairing: Edward Cullen x reader
Summary: A girl named Y/N is battling cancer and meets a boy named Edward Cullen who becomes her only friend. As her condition worsens, Edward decides to turn so they can be together forever. They face the challenges of their new life together and make the most of the time they have left.
Y/N Swan a girl who was dying, she had lived with her father Charlie Swan in the small town of forks in Washington, Forks was one of those places that never really saw the sun, it was constant clouds and rain, but that didnt bother Y/N, her world had been miserable, alwasys had been. when she was a kid it was a constant battle with cancer, then when she turned 12 it was gone… or so she thought.
for a while it was gone till she turned 17, her entire world came crashing down when she found out it had returned. She knew the drill by then, chemo, radiation, and a whole new battle to fight. But this time, she wasn't alone. She met a boy named Edward Cullen, who seemed to be the only one who understood her. He was different from everyone else in Forks, and she was drawn to him.
Edward ended up becoming Y/N’s only friend, in her childhood she never had any since she was always at the hospital, not a lot of kids ever want to spend their free time there when they could be at the park or something, as a result y/n was constantly alone, not that she minded she just didn’t enjoy the feeling of loneliness or emptiness it sometimes provided.
Edward was unlike anyone Y/N had ever met before. He was beautiful, yes, but there was something else about him that drew her in. He was smart, funny, and seemed to understand her in a way that no one else did. As they spent more time together, Y/N found herself falling for him. She tried to fight it at first, knowing that her time was limited, but she couldn't help the way she felt.
Edward, however, was hesitant to get too close to Y/N. He knew the danger that came with being around him and didn't want to put her in harm's way. But as they grew closer, he realized that he couldn't stay away from her. He was willing to risk everything to be with her, even if it meant revealing his biggest secret. but for now he kept that to himself, they had only been friends for a few months, but he knew everythng about her, every thought she had, every fear she had including her biggest one, she was afraid to die. although Edward couldnt exactly feel. in a way he felt bad for his friend.
As Y/N continued her treatments, she felt her strength slowly slipping away from her. But Edward was always there by her side, offering her comfort and support. He would hold her hand during her treatments and make her laugh with his jokes. She cherished every moment with him, knowing that there was a possibility she wouldn't be getting better. Edward herd these thoughts, he knew about every single one of them, they pained him.
when he would get hime he would find comfort in talking to his “Sister” Alice. “She has to get better, she has too, she cant just leave, not like this” He would ramble almost sobbing, well almost he would be if he could cry.
As the weeks went by, Y/N's condition continued to worsen. She was losing weight rapidly and could barely get out of bed. But Edward never left her side. He would stay with her for hours on end, just talking to her and holding her hand.
Y/N knew that her time was running out. She had come to terms with the fact that she was going to die, but it didn't make it any easier. She was scared of what was going to happen to her after she was gone. But she found comfort in the fact that she had Edward by her side.
One night, as Y/N was lying in bed, she turned to Edward and said, "I don't want to die alone." Edward took her hand and said, "You won't. I'll be right here with you."
For the next few days, Y/N's condition continued to deteriorate. She was in so much pain that she could barely talk. But she didn't need to. Edward knew what she was thinking, and he was there for her.
On what was supposed to be her final day, Edward came in as per usual, trying to cheer the dying girl up, he would’ve done anything to accomplish that goal, Painting rooms neon, finding a way to brighten up the sky, anything.
not wanting to say it allowed because he didnt want to make this all about him, but sometimes over the passt few weeks he has been thinking about who is he suppost to talk to? What is he suppost to do? When theres no her… nothing can go back to the way it was…because he had already met her, fell for her…
thats when it hit edward….he knew what he was going to do…Edward knew what he had to do. He couldn't bear the thought of living without Y/N, and he was willing to do anything to keep her by his side. He went to Carlisle, the only one who could help him.
"Please, Carlisle," Edward begged. "You have to turn her. I can't go on without her."
Carlisle looked at Edward with a sad expression. "I know how much you care for her, Edward. But turning her is a big decision. It's not something that should be taken lightly."
"I know," Edward replied. "But I can't lose her. I can't bear the thought of living without her. Please, Carlisle. You have to help me."
After much discussion and consideration, Carlisle agreed to turn Y/N. It was a risky procedure, and there was no guarantee that it would work. But Edward was willing to take that risk.
Carlisle performed the transformation, and Y/N became a vampire. At first, it was a difficult adjustment for her. She struggled to control her thirst and adjust to her new abilities, and the regained strength after all those months. But with Edward by her side, she was able to overcome these challenges.
As time passed, Y/N became more comfortable with her new life. She and Edward continued to stay by each other's side, growing closer with each passing day. They traveled the world together, experiencing all of the wonders that it had to offer.
And even though Y/N knew that she would never be able to have a normal life, she was content with the life that she had. She had found love in the most unexpected of places, and that was all that mattered.
As for Edward, he knew that he had made the right decision. Turning Y/N had been a risk, but it was a risk that had paid off. He was grateful for every moment that they had together, and he was determined to make the most of the time that they had left.
Together, they faced the challenges of the world, knowing that they had each other to rely on. And even though they knew that their time together was limited, they were determined to make the most of it.

Carlisle x reader - always
Tumblr media
hi! can i request where carlisle is married to reader who’s a mikaelson and the other cullens call her mom. then when the war between the volturi she was there with the other mikaelsons (to protect the cullens and others) and they’re just being the badass siblings like they are?? - Anon💜
You were away visiting your siblings when you got the phone call that you had to come home as soon as possible.
The Volturi were at it again, and this time it was aimed directly and Renesme, they were going after an innocent child and you were furious.
Throwing your stuff in your bag, you grabbed your keys and rushed towards the front door.
“(Y/N), what’s wrong?” Rebekah asked.
She’s never seen you in such a hurry, not unless there was someone you love in trouble.
“Carlisle’s family are in danger.”
“Volturi?” Elijah asked.
You nodded your head and he sighed, grabbing his jacket and he pulled it on.
“Niklaus let’s go!” Elijah called out.
“Where too?”
You looked at your twin and explained everything to him and he growled lowly, grabbing his car keys as well.
“Kol we’re going let’s go!” He shouted.
Your other brother came rushing out and they followed you.
You didn’t have much time, and you didn’t care about the stupid laws about driving, you easily got out of every situation.
You had states to cross, and you needed to be sure that you were going ti be on time, because if you weren’t who knows what aro and his goons were going to do.
“How long do we have?” Elijah asked.
You flicked your gaze over to him and shrugged slightly.
“I don’t know, I haven’t heard from Carlisle since he asked me to come home.”
Elijah have you a gentle smile.
“He’ll be okay.”
“I can’t be sure about that, he’ll do anything for his coven, even if it means putting his life at risk and I can’t let him do that.”
Elijah nodded his head.
He knew how much you loved Carlisle, sure, they weren’t vampires quite like you lot were, they were a result of the mutation in the vampires venom somewhere along the way, but they were similar.
You finally got to forks and you rushed into the house to find it empty, but it reeked of many other vampires.
“Where to?” Kol smirked.
He wanted a bit of violence, he was always down to fight, kill, especially if it was for you.
“Here this was left on the table.” Klaus said walking through.
He handed you the letter and you slowly opened it.
‘(Y/N), my love. I’m unsure if you’ll get this on time, but come to the clearing where I first told you I loved you. Please hurry.’
You looked at your family and narrowed your eyes a little bit.
“Let’s go.”
It only took minutes to get there, and when you did everyone turned to you all.
There was whispers among both sides.
“Impossible!” Cauis yelled.
You marched right through the side that had gathered to help your family, and right over to the middle of the field.
“Hello Cauis.” You snarled.
“Why are you here dearest (Y/N)?” Aro smiled.
“To rip you limb from limb obviously.” Kol grinned.
Aro stepped back just a tiny bit, but you noticed.
You could see the fear in the Volturi.
“Kol.” Elijah warned.
Klaus stepped by your side and he snarled, staring down the group of vampires in front of you all.
“You are not the kings of this world, you have no right to decide what rules should be followed!” He bellowed.
“And you do?!” Cauis yelled back.
You stepped forward this time, making them shrink back under the sheer cold fury of your gaze.
“Yes! We are the originals! And you will bow down to us!”
The Volturi shared a look, some knelt, but others didn’t.
“SHE SAID BOW DOWN!” Kol screamed.
Everyone else immediately dropped, including the self proclaimed kings of the vampire world.
You waltzed over and crouched down, giving them a twisted smirk which made them shiver as your eyes turned red.
“If you ever dare lay a hand on the Cullens, or step out of line once more I’ll make your death the most painful thing you’ve ever experienced…” you snarled.
Kicking aro back, you tossed Cauis in the same direction and turned to Marcus.
“Leave.”
“Of course…”
He bowed his head in respect and soon enough the group was gone and you turned around to your siblings.
“We can always chase them.” Kol grinned.
“Leave them, if they step out of line again then do it.”
He nodded his head.
You looked past them and the smile and laughing group celebrating their victory.
“You came…” Carlisle whispered.
You ran over and stood in front of him, giving him a soft smile as you reached out and gently touched his cheek.
“Of course I did love, I’m sorry it took so long.”
Carlisle leant into your touch and shook his head at you.
“No, it’s okay. I’m glad you made it.”
He quickly pulled you in for a hug and held you tightly, you laughed and hugged him back.
Your siblings came over and all stood watching the scene play out.
Sure, they were your family.
But so we’re the Cullens.
“Thank you mom.” Edward smiled.
You looked over at him and winked.
“You’re all part of the Mikaelson family.” You said.
“And we Mikaelsons stick together.” Rebekah grinned.
Yeah, they were part of the original family now, it was going to take some time to get used to, but they had never felt more protected

HM: Carlisle Cullen x clumsy!Reader
(A/N) I think this is the first time since I started with Head Canon Monday, that I post something that wasn’t a request...still, since all the clumsy!Reader HC were so popular, I thought I would do them with an underrated character. I hope you like it!
Pairing: Carlisle Cullen x clumsy!Reader
Warnings: none
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tumblr media
(Am I the only who thought that he was extremely hot in this scene?)
let’s start with the good thing
he’s a doctor
no matter how badly you hurt yourself, he knows how to fix you
honestly, that is probably how you two met
you somehow managed to hurt yourself and had to go to the hospital
and he just happened to be your very attractive doctor
after that, you became a regular there
and he made sure to always be the one to treat you
after all, he knew about the connection as soon as the two of you met for the first time
and connection or not, you couldn’t deny that you were falling for him
after a few months of your regular visits there was suddenly another doctor treating you
you of course asked where Carlisle was
and you were told that he no longer wanted to be your doctor
which confused and hurt you
but as you were about to leave the hospital, Carlisle pulled you aside
at first you wanted to ignore him, still hurt by his rejection
but as you walked away from him, he called something after you that took you by surprise
“Doctors can’t date their patients.”
you, of course, immediately turned around and jumped into his open arms
after you calmed down, he officially asked you if you’d like to go out with him
you said yes
duh
you quickly found out about the vampire thing
they weren’t really hiding it that well
after you two started dating, Carlisle developed some strategies to keep you from hurting yourself
one, he’d always be by your side
before dates, he would pick you up at your front door
and after, he would insist to bring you at least to the front door, if not even up to your room
two, if you insisted on going hiking with him, he’d insist to carry you most of the time
that would also count if it was slippery during winter
three, he would be the one to drive the car
again, especially during winter
his reflexes are just better than yours
four, no wet dishes for you
or knives
just anything you could hurt yourself with
five, he essentially babyproofed the house
no carpets you could trip over
extra sturdy railings at the stairs
if he would not carry you up and down those damn things
he even babyproofed your house
six, first air kids EVERYWHERE
and all his kids had to learn about first aid
especially Emmet, Alice and Edward since you spend most of your time with them
even you had to complete a course
and you always had to carry a first aid kit with you
seven, Jasper would have to slowly get used to you
and you would not be allowed to be alone with Jasper
either Carlisle, Edward, Emmet or Rose had to be there with you
eight, no wrestling with Emmet
this one was only implemented because Carlisle found Emmet and you play-wrestling one day and, if he could, he would’ve had a heart attack
nine, high heels or pumps only on special occasions and when someone was with you
ten, tell Carlisle if you hurt yourself
even if you think that it’s nothing
he loves you
and is worried shitless about you
he just wants you to be safe
and for that, he would do anything
but don’t even try asking him about turning into a vampire
safe in your arms | carlisle cullen
forks was not much different in the autumn than it was any other season of the year. it still rained, the wind still blew fiercely, and occasionally there was sun. the temperature dropped significantly, however, and your summer sweaters and jeans were replaced with big, knitted, autumn sweaters and heavier set jeans without holes in the knees.
but no matter how cold it got, you couldn’t help but be compelled to open the window as rain poured from the sky above and sit beside the fresh air in a protected position as you read a beloved novel. the rain would splash on the windowsill, creating a small puddle which your elbows frequently sunk into, but the fragrance swept in by the breeze was intoxicating, too alluring to be sensible enough to secure the latch on the window and keep the cold at bay.
purposely selecting the unscented candles before your journey into fiction began, you lit them up one by one and placed them meticulously around the room and your reading nook. with a blanket over your knees, a coffee by your side, and the window open just wide enough so your candles continued to blaze a bright orange, you leapt into a fictitious world and let the earth around you fade into a background blur.
“it’s a fire hazard in here,” a voice called, ripping you from your entranced state, “you don’t need this many candles,” carlisle chuckled.
you held your page with your thumb but shut the book in your hand, greeting carlisle with a soft kiss as he leant down expectantly.
“there’s not too many, it’s just the right amount,” you argued, looking around proudly.
“anything could happen with you so enraptured by whatever your author is talking about,” he nodded to the pages knowingly.
“i’ve been lighting candles a good many years now, i know what i’m doing.”
carlisle cocked an eyebrow, blowing a few of the flames to nought but smoke, “i worry,” he confessed.
you watched as he made his way around the room, blowing out each candle with care and from a place of mild concern. each time, the shadows dancing across his pale face became darker and less defined, but his beauty remained as striking as ever.
“not these ones,” you pleaded, inching protectively closer towards the candles on the window sill.
“not those ones,” he smiled, agreeing, “what are you reading?” he turned the cover to face him. “‘jane eyre?’”
“you don’t like ‘jane eyre?’”
“on the contrary,” he smiled warmly, taking the book from you and keeping the page as he did so.
you snuggled into his back, thankful for the warm sweater that clothed you and sat between carlisle’s stone cold skin and your delicate skin. it was delicate because it was human and sometimes you hated it—so fragile, so weak, so useless. but carlisle was always there to protect you from the many things that could cause you harm and there to soothe you through the many ailments.
everyday he was reminded of the fragility of the human species, and everyday he became more concerned for you. he liked knowing you were safe and protected. he thought there was no better way to ensure this than by wrapping his arms securely around you as he read softly to you, keeping you engaged in your novel.
I’ve got you
Tumblr media
Warnings: None....Fluff. I’m not good a writing one-shots or third person stories.
Summary: Y/N is Carlisle’s human mate and she gets sick
=============================================================
Y/N hummed as she slowed opened her eyes. The sun is starting to rise. Beams of light are trying their best to leak through the closed curtains. Even with the sleep she’s gotten, she still feels tired and achy.
“Y/N, it’s time to get up.” Alice’s voice said as she walked into your’s and Carlisle’s room.
Y/n groaned as she looked over at the pixie. “Are you alright, Y/N?” Alice asked you.
Looking over at her, you slowly nodded your head. “Esme has made some breakfast for you.” the seer told you. With a small smile, Alice walked out of you and your mate’s room, leaving you laying on the bed.
Not feeling enough energy to move, you forced yourself up and off the bed. Looking at the unmade bed you shrugged and walked out of the room. Being mated to a vegan vampire, you’d think you would be use to the cold. His cold skin touching your warm skin.
However, now that you are no longer cuddled under the many layers of sheets and blankets. With the little energy that you have, you walked out of the room. Your warm feet hitting the cold floors.
“Good morning, little bear.” Emmett’s voice boomed as we walked into the kitchen. You hummed a response as you walked to the counter. “Are you alright, little one? You seem a little...off.” Jasper wondered. You started to feel light headed.
Gripping onto the back of a chair, you started to sway from foot to foot. You slowly shook your head, no.
Your vision started to spot with dots as your legs gave out. You braced for the impact of the floor, but it never came. Instead of hitting the floor, you were caught in Jasper’s arms.
“Little bear.” Emmett claimed once you were safe in Jasper’s arm. Feeling faint you could only hum. “Jasper, please carry Y/N up to her room.” Esme told the blonde that’s holding you. Without saying a thing, Jasper got up and vamp sped you to your room.
=============================================================
Wrapped within sheets and blankets, you’ve only getting overheated. The warm slowly pulling you asleep, but you’re too warm.
Harm enough to keep you awake. Your eyes were close to closing, when a cold hand was carefully placed on your forehead. You hummed and opened your eyes. Your eyes landed on your mate. His golden eyes looking down at you. “Hey Baby.” His quite calm voice told you.
“Hi.” You quietly replied. You tried to smile up at your mate, but your smile fell. “I heard you aren’t feeling bad.” You leaned into Carlisle's hand. “Feel....too...hot.” You replied.
With that, Carlisle pulled his hand away from your face. You whined at the loss of your mates cold hand against your skin. Your mate chuckled at your reaction as you closed your eyes, wanting to fall asleep. You forced your tired eyes open and looked over at your mate.
Only your eyes landed on your mate. Carlisle is standing in front of you, unbuttoning his shirt. You hummed at the sight.
With you being a high school student, you haven’t done anything physical with your mate. The only thing you and your mate have done is cuddle and kiss. “What are you doing?” you asked him as he pulled his unbuttoned shirt off. “We need to get that fever down.” he answered as he dropped his shirt onto the floor.
He gave you a small smile before pulling the sheets back. You stare at your mate as he sat down on his side of the bed. He pulled off his shoes before laying down next to you.
He pulled the sheets over his body before pulling you to him. His cool arms wrapped around your warm body. You sighed at the feeling of his cold skin touching yours’.
You laid your head down on his chest and wrapped your right arm around his waist, holding him close.
“I’ve never thought being cold all the time would be helpful.” Your mate told you. Instead of answering, you hummed and let your heavy eyes close. “It’s okay, Baby. You can sleep now. I’ve got you.” Carlisle told you. With that you fell asleep in your mate’s cold, loving arms.
Can we have a Carlisle Cullen fic with a female character who perhaps is very self conscious about her weight or looks
Ooo I can make this one easily cus I can relate to the girl
Tw- weight problem thoughts (idk what to call them lol)
Carlisle Cullen had been married to his wife, (Y/N) for five years, and he still found her as beautiful as the day they first met. But (Y/N) had always been self-conscious about her weight and looks, always believing she wasn't pretty enough for Carlisle.
He had tried to reassure her countless times, but nothing seemed to get through to her. So, he decided to take matters into his own hands.
One day, he took her out to a special dinner, and when they arrived, he had arranged for a photographer to take a few pictures of them together. He knew it would make her feel uncomfortable, but he wanted her to see how beautiful she looked in his eyes.
When the photos were developed, Carlisle presented them to (Y/N) with a heartfelt speech about how he saw her. He told her that she was more beautiful than any woman he had ever seen, and that no matter what she thought of herself, he would always love her.
Tears streamed down (Y/N)'s face as she looked at the photos. She realized that Carlisle truly saw her beauty, and it was something she had never felt before.
From then on, (Y/N) started to feel more confident in her own skin. She stopped worrying about her weight and looks, and instead focused on the things that truly mattered. She and Carlisle grew even closer, and their marriage only grew stronger over the years.
No matter how much time passed, Carlisle always looked at (Y/N) with the same love and admiration as the day they first met.
Thrown Blood
Tumblr media
Carlisle Cullen x GN! Reader
Summary: Being pregnant with Carlisle still new things to learn from having a hybrid child.
Warnings: Pregnancy, Vampire & Human, Throwing Up, Being sick, Blood drinking
Tumblr media
Your lips squeeze tightly around the straw, not wanting to let a drop of blood go to waste. Only a few days from when you found out that Carlisle was going to be a dad once more. Still remembering how he looked up to you from his work, you wanted to smile, but your child's hunger kept you tame.
Knowing what Bella had gone through, Carlisle loosened to the news, but it still didn't help his staring at you like death was behind you. Cutting you from your thoughts, a wave of nausea made you pause and lift your lips away from the straw.
The room stilled as you did, but not for long as all the blood you consumed came up and onto the light rug. Carlisle quickly brought a trash can under as you continued.
Throwing up, every drop that you had consumed from that day burned your throat, but a cold hand caressed your neck and cheek, knowing it was Carlisle trying to cool you down, but nothing helped the pain that came from your stomach after.
Crying out, Carlisle kneeled with panicked eyes, only imagining what he saw when he looked at you. His bloodied lip lover, pale as a ghost, is carrying his child that is slowly killing them.
After being done, he wiped your lips before letting you lay back on the couch. The panic in his eyes never left; it only went to Bella, who shook her head knowing this was a new experience.
"I'm hungry," You whisper in a hoarse voice, making everyone's attention snap to you once again. "I don't think that will help," Alice said sadly, but Carlisle moved to the kitchen grabbing something from the fridge without a word.
Finally, he came back handing you some food, quickly taking it from him, then digging in feeling as your body felt alive again and your stomach aching for more. Feeling a kick in your stomach of enjoyment makes you smile, knowing today you wouldn't die from Carlisle's love.
I'd love to see Carlisle mated to a patient he saved when she was just a child. Determined as she is she manages to track him down and has a picture of them when she was a child. Please and thank you!!
The soft hum of the hospital's fluorescent lights filled the sterile hallway as Dr. Carlisle Hale moved briskly between patient rooms. A respected physician in the quaint town of Thornwood, he was known not only for his exceptional medical skills but also for his quiet, enigmatic demeanor. People whispered that he was too good to be true, an ethereal being walking among mortals.
It was a particularly busy afternoon, and Carlisle was engrossed in studying a patient's chart when a knock on his office door interrupted his thoughts. He looked up to find the head nurse, Evelyn, standing there with a concerned expression.
"Dr. Hale, we have a new patient. She insists on seeing you. Her name is (Y/N)," Evelyn explained, her tone indicating that this patient was unlike any other they'd encountered.
"(Y/N)? I'm not familiar with that name," Carlisle replied, his brow furrowing. The name stirred no memories in him, and he prided himself on knowing every patient's history.
Evelyn handed him a folder containing the patient's information. As Carlisle read through the pages, his eyes widened in recognition. "(Y/N)… I can't believe it," he whispered to himself.
Flashbacks of a rainy night years ago flooded his mind. A car crash had left a young girl on the brink of death, her parents unable to survive the collision. Carlisle had been the doctor on call that night, and he had fought relentlessly to save the child's life. He could never forget the gratitude in her eyes as she regained consciousness.
With newfound determination, (Y/N) had tackled her recovery head-on, defying all odds. But as time passed, her memories of that night faded, leaving only fragments of a faceless savior.
Carlisle took a deep breath, still processing the fact that the very same patient he had saved was now standing at the threshold of his life once more.
"Send her in, Evelyn," he instructed, his voice betraying a mixture of emotions.
The door creaked open, revealing a grown woman with determination in her eyes. Her gaze met Carlisle's, and time seemed to stand still. Recognition sparked in her eyes, and a small gasp escaped her lips.
"Dr. Cullen ," she breathed, her voice barely audible.
"(Y/N)," Carlisle replied, his voice tinged with both surprise and joy. He rose from his seat and approached her, a mixture of feelings swirling within him.
Tears glistened in her eyes as she held out a photograph, worn at the edges from years of handling. Carlisle took the photo, his heart skipping a beat as he recognized the little girl he had saved all those years ago, her smile wide and innocent.
"I never forgot," (Y/N) whispered, her voice breaking. "You saved my life, and I've been searching for you ever since."
Carlisle's eyes met hers, a connection forming between them that transcended time. The unspoken bond they had forged on that fateful night had endured, and now destiny had brought them back together.
As the weight of their shared history settled upon them, Carlisle realized that his world was about to change in ways he couldn't imagine. The girl he had saved had grown into a woman of strength and determination, and their paths were destined to intertwine once more.
"(Y/N)," Carlisle repeated, his voice soft but filled with emotion. He gazed at the photograph, feeling the weight of the years that had passed since that rainy night.
Her eyes never left his face, searching for recognition and finding it in the depths of his gaze. "(Y/N)," he continued, his voice taking on a warm, nostalgic tone. "I remember you. You were so brave."
Tears welled in her eyes, and a relieved smile curved her lips. "I knew I had to find you, Dr. Cullen. I had to thank you properly."
He shook his head gently, a touch of humility in his eyes. "It was my duty, and I'm glad I could help."
As they stood there, a sense of connection formed between them that defied explanation. It was as if the threads of fate had woven their lives together, only to reunite them at this very moment.
"(Y/N)," he said her name once more, savoring the sound of it on his lips. "You've grown into a remarkable woman."
Her cheeks flushed with a mixture of gratitude and shyness. "It's thanks to you, Dr. Cullen. You gave me a chance at life."
Carlisle's heart swelled with a mixture of emotions as he looked at the woman before him. The photograph in his hand captured the essence of the girl he had saved, and now he was face to face with the embodiment of her strength and resilience.
"(Y/N)," he said softly, the weight of what he was about to say settling upon him. "There's something you should know. What happened that night… It was more than just chance. It was fate."
Her eyes widened with curiosity and a touch of uncertainty. "Fate? What do you mean?"
Carlisle hesitated, searching for the right words. "I… I'm not just a doctor. I'm different, (Y/N). I have abilities that go beyond what you might expect."
She regarded him with a mixture of surprise and intrigue. "Abilities? What kind of abilities?"
Taking a deep breath, Carlisle chose his words carefully. "I'm not like ordinary humans. I have gifts that allow me to do things that others can't. And that night, when I saved you, something extraordinary happened."
"(Y/N)" leaned in closer, captivated by his words. "What happened?"
"I… I don't fully understand it myself," Carlisle admitted. "But our connection, the bond that formed between us that night, it's not something that happens every day. It's a rare and profound occurrence."
Her eyes searched his, a mix of wonder and disbelief in her gaze. "Are you saying that we're connected in some special way?"
He nodded, his expression serious yet sincere. "Yes, (Y/N). I believe that our lives are intertwined by something greater than ourselves. And now that you're here, I can't ignore the significance of this moment."
A mixture of emotions played across her features—astonishment, curiosity, and a spark of something more. "(Y/N)" stepped closer, her hand reaching out to touch his arm. "Dr. Cullen, if there's more to our connection, then I want to understand it. I want to know the truth."
Carlisle's heart swelled with a mixture of admiration and tenderness. Here was the young girl he had saved, now a woman standing before him, ready to embrace the mysteries of their shared history.
"As we navigate this journey together, (Y/N)," he said gently, "I promise to reveal all that I can. But know that there's more to discover, more to our story than what meets the eye."
She nodded, determination in her eyes. "Then I'm ready to uncover the truth, Dr. Cullen."
And so, as the bonds of fate drew them closer, Carlisle and (Y/N) embarked on a journey that would unravel the mysteries of their connection, and lead them down a path neither could have foreseen.
“Someone call Doctor Carlisle now!“
You had no idea what was going on. Your eyes fluttered open and shut looking up at the ceiling at passing lights as you laid on what you assumed was a stretcher. You tried to look around, but you couldn’t move much all you saw doctors rushing from each and every angle in complete panic and blood everywhere.
‘Is this my— blood?’ you thought but you didn’t stay conscious long because all you could feel was pain, pain everywhere. It almost felt like your flesh was on burning from the inside out you squirmed in discomfort but it didn’t help much. The only thing you heard before loss complete consciousness was a soft but deep voice saying.
“I’ll take care of her.”
—————————
You shot up from your slumber in complete panic, you scanned your body for any injuries but couldn’t find any. You touched your face, arms and legs making sure this they were all over there. You calmed down for a split second but quickly noticed you were in very expensive looking pajamas and that’s when you became fully aware you weren’t in a hospital, nor your own room. That’s when the panic set back in.
‘was it all a dream?! did i get kidnapped?!’ you mentally slapped yourself for going hiking alone. Your mom was right sooner or later some weirdo in the woods was going to take you.
You rush out of the bed and tiptoed to the door, you cracked it peeking just the slightest so you wouldn’t be noticed. You were about to make a run for it when you heard that same voice you heard before you went unconscious.
“It’ll be fine there’s no need to panic I saved her life just like I saved yours” your furrowed your eyebrows ‘saved my life?’.
“Carlisle this was a stupid and dangerous idea she’s going to get us exposed” a firm female voice spoke up and she didn’t sound too happy. What did she mean by expose?
“Well I don’t see a problem the more the merrier, right jasper?” There was a chuckle then followed by the sound of a loud slap.
“Shut up Emmett.”
“Listen carefully, I don’t need any of your opinions I did what I had to do and whether you like it or not it’s already done. I was simply letting you know we are adding a new member to the family” family? New member? You panicked backing away from the door but accidentally bumped into the bookshelf that was so conveniently by the door.
“Shit” you whispered picking up a few books that fell.
“Y/n? Are you awake?“ you continued to panic as you heard foot steps approach the door. The door slowly creeped open and that doctor from before peeked in.
“Do-don’t come any closer!” You threatened throwing a book at. Instead of smacking him in the face he effortlessly caught it and sighed “we need to talk.”
_______________
“What do I do now? Can I return home? Will my family notice?” You once again panicked with a thousand thoughts running though your head “do they even know where I am at right now?!” Carlisle placed a hand on your shoulder.
“You’ll be staying with us for now on and your family thinks you relocated to another hospital to undergo surgery” your eyes stared at the floor still trying to process all of this.
“Well for starters you can get to know all of us” a handsome, tall, buff guy spoke up offering you the sweetest smile.
“I’m Emmett, that’s Jasper his mate Alice, Edward and Bella and Esme and Carlisle.”
“Do you have a mate?” You ask curiously hoping he was single, but before he could answer the unnamed blonde girl cleared her throat as she shot daggers at Emmett.
“Ye-yes I do, y/n meet Rosalie my— mate” you felt a twinge of disappointment in your chest as he said that. You just put on a smile and nodded “nice to meet all of you as you know now I’m y/n” they all nodded.
“We’ll try to make this stay as comfortable as possible for you” The pretty girl with the pixie cut smiled as she held out her hand.
“Alice right?” She nodded as you shook her hand.
“This’ll be interesting” you heard Edward whispered as he smirked.
“So you and y/n seem to be getting along” Alice smiled coming from behind Emmett as you walked away.
“Yeah she’s so sweet” he gushed.
“I had a vision about you…” He nodded as Alice took a seat on the steps in front of the house.
“Well—“ she paused before peeking around “you know how we say Rosalie is your mate right?”
“Mhm” Emmett hummed not quite getting where Alice was going with this.
“Well that’s not exactly true…” at the mention of this his ears perked up.
“Alice don’t say anything you’re not sure of” he warned her hoping no one was around to listen.
“No no I’m positive of what I have seen. I had a vision last night while she was getting to know everyone, I saw you and her alone hugging on the balcony and you whispered ‘I’m so glad you’re my mate’ and you kissed her forehead” Emmett froze and this new information. He didn’t know what to feel because he was attracted to you, but him a Rosalie have been together for decades on end.
“Wh- what about Rosalie? I truly do love her but if she’s not my mate what do I do?” Alice became quite to this question, it’s the one question she didn’t know how to answer.
“I- I’m not sure.” They sat there in silence looking out into the forest with their thoughts running, but they weren’t aware of was that Rosalie was listening the entire time.
{A Month Later }
You were just getting comfortable in your bed with a book in hand when you heard a quiet knock on your door.
“Come in” you placed your bookmark in your book expecting Bella to come in for a late night chat, but to your surprise it was Rosalie.
“Oh hi Rosalie! What do you need at this hour?” You said a little to cheerfully, you were just excited to see her because she’s been avoiding you the past few weeks you’ve been here and you were hoping to get to know her better.
“I just came to talk” she muttered taking a seat at the foot of your bed. This is unusual behavior for her so you were worried.
“Is everything ok?” You ask.
“Yeah I just— well you and Emmett have been bonding very well and I-“
“Oh no, Rosalie if you want me to you back off I absolutely can” you felt uneasy, she probably thinks you want to steal him “he just has this personality that makes him so approachable and fun to be around” you continued hoping she didn’t want to rip your throat out.
“Oh trust me I know” she giggled quietly “he can be a big goof at times” you both shared a giggle. “But that’s not what I’m here for” she continued “Emmett has—“ she huffed in frustration trying to find the right words “listen your his mate” your eyebrow furrowed.
“But you-“
“No I thought I was…but once I saw how he looked at you and the way he couldn’t detach himself from you I knew you two were meant for each other, your his true mate. And no you better not be feeling sorry for me because I don’t except a pity party, I just want you to take care of him and love him that’s all” with that sad confession she left leaving you confused.
———————————
“You sure you’re ok with this?” You asked Rosalie as she gathers the snacks aka blood packets for movie night.
“I’m positive I’m fine I would not want you two to be miserable just to make me happy. And besides you two have been dating now for a few months now enjoy yourselves” she smiled as she walked to the living room. You returned the smile as you helped her, but thinking about Emmett made you wonder where he was.
“He’s on the balcony” Edward blurted out. You gave him a tight lip smiled “can you stop doing that?” He shook his head.
“Can’t help it, you think loud” you rolled your eyes as you made your way to the balcony. Emmett had his back turned to you so you snuck up to him and gave him a back hug.
“What’re doing out here alone?” You questioned.
“Thinking” you hummed “about what?” There was a slight pause of silence. Emmett pulled you around to where he could see you and placed his hands on your hips.
“About you, and how I’m so glad you’re my mate” you smiled and gave him a hug burying your face into his chest.
“You’re so cheesy Emmett” he laughed. “I know.”
As you two shared your sweet moment on the balcony Alice stared at you two with a smile on her face. “What’re looking at babe?” Jasper asked leaning on the counter “oh nothing.”
