Co-dependent Marauders.

Marauders who are so tightly knit after living in the same boarding room for years that they get a townhome or flat after they graduate (despite Sirius and James definitely being able to buy their own place)

Sirius and James who almost always have to be within eyeline of each other else they'll get fidgety and restless.

Sirius and Remus are similarly attached, but need physical contact every few minutes and will start seeking each other out subconsciously.

Peter needing reassurance he's a part of the group - it's hard to exist in the intense relationships that are Remus and Sirius and James.

James constantly worrying over everyone, a silent agreement of a curfew being made to soothe him.

Cuddle piles occuring at least once a week. Any longer and a fight will break out or someone will start crying. Subconsciously knowing it's been too long.

Sirius sleeping in everyone's bed, maybe sleeping in his own twice a week. One-night stands are generally a no-go in their house.

The fear of change when Sirius and Remus get together. When Peter gets a girlfriend. When James gets married.

They reassure each other it'll be the same. They'll be the same.

It never is but they try their best. Fights happen more often, tensions high when people first start moving out. But they come back together eventually, they're stuck together by an immeasurable force. A solar system.

They'll be ok.

I think my dad might be co-dependent. The reason I think this is he just overwhelms me with his needs sometimes and I all I want to do is get away and get space. It's too emotionally draining to talk to him a lot of the time. Especially if his is angry or upset. It just feels like he is constantly crossing my boundaries. Just seeing him brings up resentment and a need to get away. How do I fix this? I don't like being resentful or feeling overwhelmed by someone else's emotions.

Hey there,

One important thing to remember in any situation where someone is co-dependent on another person is that you are your own person and you can choose not to listen to him if this is something you want to do.

You probably have done this already, but have you sat your Dad down and explain to him how he is making you feel? I know this may not fix the problem or stop him from completely overwhelming you with his needs, but at least then you would have tried!

Another thing you may be able to do is to encourage him to see a professional like a counsellor or a therapist. It sounds as though he has a lot of stuff going on for him and he needs someone to talk to and to offload onto someone, and it is not fair at all that at the moment this person is you!

Do you have any friends where you can sleep over to get a break from your Dad? This may be a good way to get a break from your Dad and to recharge a bit.

You also have to know that you cannot control another person’s emotions or actions, and so in saying this, yes your Dad may not appreciate you telling him that it may be beneficial that he see a professional, but you can only do what is in your power and what you can do to help to remedy this problem. Don’t lose hope though in things changing and maybe try to talk to your Dad when he is in a better mood and thinking more rationally as opposed to doing it when he is offloading his stuff onto you.

Did you know you can make sims look in a specific direction whilst they're posed?

Hit shift+tab to enter first person mode

Aim the camera where you want your sim to look (make sure your game isn't paused otherwise the sim won't move - you can press 1 in first person mode to set time running)

Hit pause (by pressing P)

Hit shift+tab again to exit first person mode

Voila! Your sim is now looking in the direction you pointed 'em!

A neat little cheat to get multiple uses from the same pose! 🤸‍♀️

Ghost King Phantom answers a summons to a new dimension to find a sacrificial offering in three magic circles. One, holding Bizarro, another holding Artimus and the one in front holding Red Hood.

Phantom has no idea who these people are, but he knows the people in charge must be powerful mages or whatever. Doesn't matter. None of the mages hes ever had to face had known about his Halfa status so naturally thier wards and protections wouldn't work on him. He captures the kid with a naselly voice and his orange cat in a force field to give to Jazz later. She had been talking about wanting to study the psychology of a supernatural being for a while now so he'd help her out.

He made quick work of the other mages before turning around and facing the "sacrifices" the two in the back were still out cold but the one in front, the one in the red helm was radiating terror and rage. He was shaking even though Phantom hadn't done anything to him and had no intentions to. Danny landed outside the circle, trying to whisper something conforting as he stepped closer.

The moment he stepped into the ring however, the red runes turned into a bright green and the three circles disappeared. Danny didn't feel any different so he assumed it was nothing and he freed the captives before disappearing, none the wiser that Klarion the Witchboy had made a few translation mistakes in the slave contract and accidentally married a terrified Red Hood to Phantom, the High King of the Undead and King of the Lazarus dimension, also known as the Infinite Realms.

Danny probably learns he married that guy at some point but just kinda shrugs it off. Polygamy is legal in the realms and thier marriage doesn't change much. Sure, Danny is practically contractually obligated to save this guy if he's ever in mortal peril but Danny has no problems with that. He'd do it anyway.

So he just ignores the situation hoping it doesn't come up again.

It does.

Repeatedly.

I'm so surprised we don't have more Dead on Main ghost king marriage aus where Jason/the pit inside of him is terrified of Phantom. Let's change that
