“Crimson flower, scorch my soul and guide me. Dark Fire!” (Translation generously provided by @mysteryshoptls, who is currently on hiatus)

Note that the line itself says “身”, which more closely translates to “physical body/myself”. “Scorch my soul” is a phrase lifted from the lyrics of Hellfire, the Disney song, and fits with the “salvation” tone and theming.

Please also note that the “crimson flower” he’s referring to in the incantation is NOT literally referencing the crimson flowers (the magic sucking plant he cultivated in the waterways); he’s not controlling or influencing the flowers in any way (other than having grown them). The “crimson flower” of the incantation is metaphorical and likely refers to the fire that covers his body afterwards (as the actual flowers are described to closely resemble real fire).

“くすぶる欲望”, the name for Rollo’s unique magic is spoken aloud as “Dark Fire”, but it is written as “Burning Desire”. Again, this is a lyric lifted from the lyrics of Hellfire.

Rollo’s UM literally engulfs his body in flames, which he can freely control firebending lol. The magical fire is fueled by others’ fear and uneasiness.

ROLLO’S IN HIS RIDDLE ROSEHEARTS ERA, HE’S FINALLY EMBRACING HIS INNER ARSONIST I KNEW HE COULD DO IT I KNEW HE COULD LOSE HIS SHIT

ALSO, WE WERE SUPER CLOSE WITH THE DEAD LITTLE BROTHER THEORY 😭 Apparently Rollo’s little brother died very young. He unlocked his magic before Rollo did; he played around with his magical abilities and acted recklessly with them. He performed a fire spell he couldn’t control… which ended up claiming his life. Rollo wasn’t able to help him, as he unlocked his magic AFTER his little brother was already dead (and he claims that he is absolved of fault because he didn’t have magic at the time but come on, I think we all realize he probably has internalized guilt over it). Because of this, he resents magicians for not doing anything to help moderate or to restrain his brother’s magic use.

BRUH 😔 YOU REALLY GOT TA HIT US IN THE FEELS LIEK THIS????????????? I FEEL MY HEART BREAKING I’M NOT MADE OF STONE I’M NOT MADE OF SOMETHING STRONGER I’M LITERALLY GLASS RIGHT NOW

(THIS PART IS THEORIZING + ANALYSIS but there’s a flashback to Rollo’s past… and when his little brother calls out to him for help, there are rising flames in the background. This implies that his little brother died burning alive because he couldn’t control a fire spell… and Rollo couldn’t help even if he wanted to because he hadn’t gotten his own magic yet. As Azul points out, he must have been so conflicted when his own magical abilities awakened. THEN ROLLO LEARNS THE MAGIC THAT MAKES HIM “UNIQUE” IS ASSOCIATED WITH FIRE 🤡

Imagine how fucking traumatic that must be if his little brother was lost in the flames… And if that’s true, then it explains why Rollo has dialogue which implies he’s unhappy with himself, that he views his own magic as being “cursed”, on top of forming a disdain for magic (and particularly those who overindulge in it as his brother once did). Losing his brother would have made such a big impact on Rollo that it literally SHAPED what his unique magic would be… That death was an extremely traumatic formative experience. Then, in a cruel twist of fate, Rollo sees his own magical abilities are a constant reminder that he could not save his loved one, and the form it has taken is like a sin and the guilt he cannot scrub from himself. Rollo’s body literally sets on fire when he uses his unique magic—a horrifyingly reminder of his little brother’s body burning to a crisp before his eyes.

What must Rollo be thinking in that moment when he discovered his unique magic and every time he uses it after that? I can control the fire that my brother couldn’t. I survive when this fire consumes me, and my brother didn’t. Uh, no wonder why he describes his magic as “repulsive” 😔 and no wonder why he’s not scared to lose his own magic. He, in fact, believes it will be liberating.

And the fact that his Dark Fire is powered by negative emotions????? That’s… such a scary manifestation of Rollo’s own dark thoughts and emotions. The worse people feel, the worse the flames become… the stronger Rollo’s internalized guilt, the more hateful he became, until it ultimately culminated in this plot to steal all the magic from Twisted Wonderland. In his eyes, any amount of magic is dangerous—too little, and mages becomes jealous. Too much, and they become arrogant. Magic is that evil, the unease and the fear, that propels Rollo and his unique soul-defining spell.

Dark Fire fittingly defines him, his obsession, and his ambition. Most importantly, it gives him drive, and a cause to work toward. It is Rollo’s guiding light in an otherwise dark, sin-drenched world. This is reflected even in the incantation: “Scorch my soul and guide me.” Rollo’s “sin” is also, very ironically, the hope that propels him toward is own brand of “salvation” at the expense of all other magic users. Like Idia says, Rollo tries ro justify his actions by claiming it is for the good of all when, in reality, Rollo is just seeking salvation for himself. He wants to come to terms with all the guilt he has been burdened with: seeing his brother burn, coming down with the curse of magic, the blight of his unique magic… GOD HE’S. SO AWFUL OTL BUT ALSO SO DARK AND COMPLEX)

SO THEY BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF ROLLO AND. His punishment for all of this is… Well, none of his crimes are shared with people outside of NRC (like how they try to contain news of Jamil and Vil’s OBs in the main story) 😂 so Rollo still remains “pure” in the eyes of the NBC mobs that adore him, BUT he has to deal with the internal moral dilemma and turmoil.

Truly fitting for a villain who has already internalized so much self-hatred and guilt… Oh yeah, and he dances with Malleus at the end 😂 Happily ever after, I guess??

LOL, I fookin LIED🤡

Don’t you feel like there’s been a constant shifting of aenergies lately? I haven’t been able to focus on precisely ONE single thing since the last Full Harvest Moon in Aries! Feelings, thoughts and emotions, as well as focus and priorities keep changing for the life of me! I think we’re collectively transcending and transforming the core of our beingness and habits… our ways of Life. So, ultimately, I think we will all be fine🍒🍀✨

In my last Oracle Alchemy on Patreon, I mentioned that the next series of PAC that was supposed to be Destined Person readings, was gonna be postponed and instead I wrote that I was going publish first a series of PAC on money, luck and manifestation. At that time, I couldn’t focus on Destined Person readings at all and it felt like the cosmic aenergies wanted me to prioritise readings on career and manifestation. Well, clown on me. I haven’t even finished Part 1 of that series and the aenergy had already shifted back to what was originally planned🤣

I’m sorry if I’m not making too much sense right now but basically, please expect a reading on 🍷Scent of Your Destined Person very soon some time this week🎉YAY!! The readings on money luck and manifestation are coming after all three Destined Person readings are published🍨

On another note, I also wrote on my side blog that I was going to resume daily readings on the last New Moon. On that note, I’m confident this upcoming Full Moon will help me heaps in terms of changing my dietary habits… Y’know, Taurus rules over the throat and kitchen business LMAO I’m naturally skinny AF and don’t particularly struggle with ED of any kind, but I do realise now that my body is incredibly sensitive to certain types of harmful chemicals in our modern foods… If we could still call these things… foods at this point.

My fairy body can’t seem to digest well a lot of Human foods hahah Basically, I guess what I’m saying is that I’m learning to eat foods that would be good for my mental health so that I become subsequently less prone to anxieties and burnouts. I think foods are definitely related to healthy and balanced productivity🍱I’ll be learning all that for the rest of the year!

Also! Not to forget the man himself— Gojo is chill enough to find the time to play around in that box… Like, dude! 😎😅 Be the menace you’re usually being for Nanami and Ijichi and break a deeper crater to sink in, will you? You’re already flexing in there. I’m sure you tried to open the seal from the inside and that’s why it overloaded. Because when a device overloads, it often gets short-circuited and overheats. From there it either bursts into fire, explodes or melts. That’s why the eyes melted— I’m so convinced of this. However, I don’t think the fact that the prison’s eyes turned blue means that Gojo can see outside. It feels more like during the processing the object reflects what it sees inside itself…? Watching yuukaku for the 6th time now I think, from my anilist record and I JUST,,, I love Tengen so much 😭,,,, I’ve already made a whole presentation on why I love him but it’s that time again where I wanted to say it again 😔

I’m bad with romance genre and idk why I continued watching yubisaki to renren. That shit made me go high on copium lmaoooo on one hand I go omg that’s literally Tengen and Mio (their colour palette matches ??!!?) but on the other hand I get so much grief on how I don’t think I’ll be able to get real life romance lmao!!! Yeah I’m well aware it’s fiction but these two universe (rl & fiction) are a parallel of each other

Yeah I’m still young and have a lot of chances but I just don’t think it’ll work out for me. I don’t put effort in myself so how would people put their effort in me !!! Literally holding on to Tengen at this point. I’m both happy and sad. Happy that I can imagine however I want him to be. Sad that I couldn’t get physical and majority of the time feels one sided (that’s bcus it is ? 😭🤡)

What do you think happened between Mike and Toptap? A fun fact on the side, the drama with Mike and Krist should actually be a KristSingto one in the first place but Singto couldn’t do it because of some schedules also as I remember he said he wouldn’t do it even if he had time for it

I have really no idea, only that they stopped (openly) interacting or even mentioning each other and apparently unfollowed each other on social media. It was all quite sudden and puzzling to me. Whatever happened, I hope they're both doing okay and it's not putting a strain on their respective careers - Toptap's career especially because I think he's super talented and sweet (yes I'm biased lmao).

Tbh it's kind of weird seeing them in Sky in your Heart and Mama Gogo now. I really enjoyed them acting together 😔

And yeah, I knew that Singto was originally supposed to star opposite Krist but I don't really mind. Mike & Krist make for an interesting pair and the drama's plot sounds great tbh. I'm also really easy to please (I mean, this blog is named after a Gen Y character 🤡)

Great writing AS PER USUAL FI. My official review is that my brain fucking hurts 🤡 I don’t know what’s going on.

My small(ish) list of theories/thoughts so far is that

1. Chan likes reader. (And I think he’s doing a dumb thing like ✨ alas ✨ I cannot have the one I love so I must 😩🤙 settle. We hate to see it.)

2. ^ the above is completely thrown off by Chan being like “oh yeah my hot fiancé doesn’t find you a threat at all”. Is that because he’s given up on the reader??? Maybe she’s dumb I don’t know

3. Hyunjin can step off. I’m not pleased with him atm. Sure he’s being a nice friend occasionally, HOWEVER he’s very clearly using the reader to take a dig at Chan and it’s pissing me off because she’s!! Not privy to that!!! She doesn’t know no better!!!

4. What the fuck even happened between Chan/Hyunjin/Burberry wearing ass fiancé. There is no theory. There is only pain I experience for Chan.

5. I can’t even begin to explain to you how much the Changbin conversation confused me. Like if Chan likes the reader I would say he Clearly didn’t tell Changbin about it. In which case Why is Changbin so mad that Hyunjin is going to the wedding with the reader specifically. I’m crying what the FUCK happened.

the week following up to the second meeting was long and annoying. due to my dangerous nature when i’m alone, i wasn’t allowed to be in my room for too long and being forced to partake in family time (which just consisted of me sitting next to either of my parents while they did their daily business). it was torturous to say the least.

but by the time tuesday rolled around, my mother couldn’t seem to hide her excitement.

“what’s got you jumpy?” i asked. i wondered if it had to do with the fact that she could have another chance at eyeing jungkook. the thought made me gag internally, the whole cougar trope a secret trigger for vomit.

“i’m just… happy you’ve made a friend in your group on your first day. you’ve always been the shy quiet type that it was hard for you to make friends growing up. your father and i used to worry for you when we had to move and you had to start a new school,” she says, a reminiscent look in her eyes.

she smiled softly, like they were fond memories before continuing.

“please… just. just stop,” i sighed, feeling that guilty ick sliding up my back. at this point, i knew she was doing this intentionally.

“i’m sorry. i don’t want to make you upset,” my mom sighs, offering me a small smile. i ignored her, hoping that we could continue the drive in silence. the drive wasn’t very long, but it felt like it was an eternity before we pulled into the parking lot, approaching the drop off area.

“i know that this is our last hope. but hun… it won’t work unless you try to make it work,” my mom says, parking the car. my face is void of any emotion, but my heart was torn between feeling nothing and feeling everything. i looked up, catching jungkook make his way across the lot. he spots my mom’s car and smiles at me, causing an involuntary smile to inch it’s way across my lips.

“i’ve got to go to a meeting today. think you can find your way home today?” my mom says. i glance over at her, catching the way there was a mischievous smile on her lips. i scoff, nodding my head before pushing the door open. my mom yells that she loves me before i shut the door, ignoring the stares of everyone as i walk into the building.

“thought you’d be too scared to come back,” jungkook teases as he spots me walking down the hall.

“you talk like i have a choice,” i smirk, walking past him.

“i love it when you speak sarcasm,” jungkook winks, causing me to roll my eyes in return.

i couldn’t explain it. have you ever been around someone who makes you feel like an entirely different person when you’re around them? someone happier? better? like there’s hope at the end of the dreaded tunnel?

that was jungkook. he seemed to have this way of getting people to be their best self and you didn’t have to know him very long for it to kick in. it was just his natural charm.

but i wasn’t entirely sold. jungkook and i were two cars headed very fast towards the edge of the cliff. nothing good could come from it. right?

“you think you’re gonna be able to stomach story time today?” jungkook asked, catching up to me and walking side by side.

“i don’t know. isn’t the whole point of a surprise is to be inconspicuous until the time comes?” i shrug, avoiding eye contact.

“wow,” jungkook muses, gawking at me.

“what?” i ask, gauging his reaction, trying to decipher why he was staring at me that way.

“you really are an enigma aren’t you?” he chuckles, making you laugh in return.

“you have no idea,” i chuckle.

the session this time around wasn’t as bad the first. maybe because i already knew what to expect when i walked through the doors and sat in the uncomfortable blue chairs. it was the usual droning of the same old stories, different emotions.

and of course, as cliche as it was, namjoon waited til the end of the session to call me out.

“try to be uhh, more conversational this time, eh?” jungkook snickered as i stood up. i rolled my eyes at him and shoved his shoulder, slipping past yoongi’s outstretched legs.

“you’ll do great,” yoongi said, a small smile on his lips. i nodded at him and dragged my feet towards the head of the group. namjoon gave me an optimistic smile before stepping aside and taking a seat in the front row.

“uh.. hi. again,” i murmur, my voice monotone as i eyed the crowd. i spotted jungkook trying to stifle his laughter, yoongi smacking his arm. i glared at jungkook which made him laugh even harder.

“look, i’m not the emotional type. i’m just here because i have to be, not because i want to. but i guess if i gotta be here, gotta make the most of it,” i shrug. i looked over at joon who was smiling fondly, almost proudly, at me. it made me uneasy but a small sense of pride fluttered through my chest. it only seemed to grow when i peered over to yoongi and jungkook, both of them smiling at my fidgeting figure. despite the distance, i could still read their eyes like a book.

see, the thing about me is i can read people through their eyes. their thoughts, their emotions, that kind of thing. my mom used to tell me it was my super secret power, i just think it’s because i was fearful of people reading mine, so i learned to mask everything through my eyes.

but it was different here. everyone could read me in different ways. some read my body language, some read the tone in my voice as i spoke and some, like me, could read my eyes. it was hard to be deceitful when everyone here lied for a living. but that was the whole point of this group therapy. specifically this one. because i couldn’t lie and if i did, i’m sure anyone here wouldn’t hesitate to call me out on my shit.

“very true, yn. thank you. and as always have a great week everyone! see you again!” joon smiled, announcing the end of the group session. i shoved my hands into my hoodie pockets and made my way out of the room. a large hand clasped themselves around my arm, stopping me from leaving. my gaze immediately found the hand, following it up to its owner. namjoon.

“you mind if we speak for a quick second?” he smiles. his smile was easy to read: polite and gentle, but firm. like there was no other choice. i nodded my head and followed him to the back of the room.

“what’s up?” i ask, trying to rush this conversation so i could go home.

“i spoke to your doctor. they informed me of—“

“please don’t. not here,” i cut him off, knowing exactly what he was talking about. i could see jungkook standing not too far off in the distance, waiting for me.

“i don’t want to add any stress, but i just want you to know that i need to keep your doctor updated on your sessions. i know that it may be hard, but i really am here to help. if you could come in next session with a little more of an open mind, this whole process will run along smoothly,” namjoon says in a hushed whisper, understanding my need to keep everything private. it made me respect him a little more than i already did (despite the bar being literally at the lowest it could be). i nod once and exhaled a deep sigh.

“okay, i’m picking up what you’re putting down,” i murmur. namjoon places a gentle hand onto my shoulder and nods before looking up at jungkook.

“keep an eye on her, yeah?” namjoon teases. i roll my eyes and shake my head, however, donning a small smile on my lips.

“trust me, she’s had my eye since the day i first seen her.”
