Summary: He sat alone at a table in a quaint, little coffee shop in the city. He chose this shop, because he knew that it was never particularly crowded. He was going to need every ounce of privacy that he could get.

He was well over halfway through his first cup of coffee when a voice requested his attention — a voice that he was all too familiar with.

“Y’know, I’m honestly surprised you were willing to meet with me.”

Kurt turned, taking in a figure that he had not seen organically in just over three years. Even then, something about looking at the older man made his heart skip in ways that he did not want to think about.

Kurt was under the impression that grunted, non-responses and obvious headphones-in-ear articulated that he wanted to be left alone.

Yet, Blaine’s still blabbering.

Kurt crumples up another terrible sketch. He can’t work like this. “Just- Shut up for a second, will you?” He glares at Blaine across the breakfast bar. “I’m in the middle of something.”

Blaine leans over the granite with a smile and a glint in his eye. “Make me.”

“You’re so fucking obnoxious,” Kurt bites and throws the wad at Blaine’s face.

He laughs and retreats to his room.

Kurt’s cheeks stay flushed long after he’s left.

❤: Which character do you think is the most egregiously mischaracterized by the fandom?

consuming media is something so personal actually and i love how it's like a character takes a million branching paths to become a collective of everyone's individual perceptions like an infinitely layered superposition that never collapses. that said there are many fics where blaine is buttoned up and well adjusted like ?? he's a disaster? and not in the cute spilled coffee way.

just characters that have a disconnect between what canon implies and what fandom desperately wants to believe. tina is this way too. i feel like people just pretend she stayed goth and opinions on her personality in later seasons are mixed to the point of no consensus.

💚: What does everyone else get wrong about your favorite character?

responded here but i will add that blaine is sometimes portrayed as emotionally demanding and prone to complaining but like... in dynamic duets he was going to transfer back to dalton without telling anyone. in tested he didn't say a word about his insecurities and watched porn about it instead. he didn't say anything on how he felt about kurt graduating until he got dragged to couples counselling.

i feel like i don't have enough awareness of people's headcanons to answer this properly. also... easy enough to attribute things to comphet. there is always room for possibility :)

🤍: Which character is not as morally bad as everyone else seems to think?

📣 NOAH PUCKERMAN 📣 oh my god okay look. I get it. I GET IT. Terrible actor, yeah, I understand if you can't stomach Puck for that reason, but imo that doesn't impact Puck's morality as a character. But he's canonically a terrible guy too!! You might say. And I would agree that he has done some very shitty things in canon. I'm not excusing them! I don't think the shitty things he's done are okay. But I do think that he is someone who has a lot of mental health struggles, his father abandoned him and only comes around to ask for money, he has literally been sexually abused by countless grown women as a teenager (because it's not a joke!! it's not funny that he has sex with grown women!!), like... it doesn't make his behaviour okay, but what I see is a boy who needs HELP. And we see GOOD in him too! We see how much he cares about Lauren, how he tries to be a good father to Beth, even things like picking Glee over football in season 1 when even Finn couldn't bring himself to do that. I think he's troubled, but I think that at his core, he's not morally a bad person. I think that if he got help, he could grow and learn that the things he's done are wrong and why they're wrong and not do them again.

💖: What is your biggest unpopular opinion about the series?

Um. See the above question? LMAO. No but really it kinda depends on what fandom space I'm in. Like in Klaine spaces my most unpopular opinion is [REDACTED] but nobody would bat an eye at that in some other spaces. I think maybe not liking Quinn? I feel like everybody loves Quinn or at least enjoys her but I kinda just don't? I don't HATE her but I'm just like ehhhh whatever I don't care you know? Sorry to literally everybody I guess.

📖: If you had to remove one book from the series, which would you choose?

I'm not sure if this should refer to an episode or a season, but I'm bad at remembering all of the episodes anyway so I'm going to pick a season and it's going to be season 6. It's short so we're losing the least, and there are a few things I like to forget exist from that season so if it could actually not exist that might be ideal

6x13 - Dreams Come True

I Lived - Glee Cast

Well, this is it. I’ve officially gone through every performance that Kurt appears in.

I originally started this project back in May. So this took about 6 months in the making to go all the way through. I will admit, but about season 5, I was starting to feel drained by this because it was such a daunting task. But I was already so far in, I knew I needed to finish it. I will say, I’m super proud of this, and I love that this series was a way for me to see the nuance of my favorite character. That said, I look forward to moving on.

I have some new projects on the horizon, as well as the chance to finish the other projects that I’ve already started! Now that I’m done with this, I can finally put my full focus into other things within the Glee fandom. I hope it’s content that y’all can appreciate!

Thank you all so much for sticking this out with me. And a SPECIAL thanks to those who were here from basically the beginning. Y’all have done so much to make me feel like I’m a part of this fandom, and the welcoming feelings that I’ve received has made me want to get back into content creating after so long of being out of it.
